took money from my account
I was offered my credit score for $1.00. Seven days later $29.95 was taken from my account. I was not told that the fee was $29.95 in 7 days the $29.95 every month after. I had a hard time finding the phone number. So here it is [protected]. Come on now people! Is there no one we can trust! I hope this helps others. Brba

taking money directly from a checking account monthly without my approval
Hi. I was trying to login my Bank of America website last Feb 28, 2011 then suddenly this website window popped up form nowhere stating free credit report. The name of this company/website is SCORESENSE.com ScoreSense, a Product of One Technologies LP 4447 North Central Expressway Suite 110 PMB 406, Dallas, Texas 75205 It will initially tell you that they...

No recollection of ever ordering this "service". Charges of $29.95 per month began in November 2010, but no services rendered-. No "Welcome" packet, No initial report of credit status to be analyzed for existing mistakes of record, No notice of any credit report activity (good or bad) in the intervening 6 months. When my husband called to attempt to determine any legitimacy of this service and request copies of any prior communications, the customer rep hung up on him in mid-discussion. Fraud complaint filed with my credit card company. Even if these guys are at all legitimate - STAY AWAY - There are several much, much better firms out there, who actually provide good service, and for less money.

unauthorized deduction from my account
I did not authorize scoresense or any other company to deduct any monies from my account. I am on a fixed income and can not afford for this type of fradulant behavior to happen to me. Please reverse the charges back into my account.

Irequested free credit report and not ongoing service. I did not authorize monthly ded uctions. I request this to stop in 12/12 and another deduction happened in 1/13 and 2/13.

I filled out an online application with a local car dealership. Link showed up charging $1 to see credit report, $1 to be refunded. Now I see that our account has been debited $29.95 from Score Sense that we never opted for, nor authorized. Pissed to say the least! We will be reporting to BBB and any others I can find. Looks like from reading the other complaints that you will not get a refund. Why is this business, if you care to call it a business still in operation? There are numerous complaints regarding this ripoff.
I REPEAT: I DID NOT AUTHORIZE YOUR ORGANIZATION TO DEDUCT ANYTHING FROM MY ACCOUNT. MY INCOME DOES NOT QUALIFY ME FOR A DEDUCTION OF THAT SORT.
I DID NOT AUTHORIZE A DEDUCTION FROM MY ACCOUNT IN THE AMOUNT OF $29.95. I AM ON A VERY SLIM FIXED INCOME AND DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS. THIS NEEDS TO BE REFUNDED BACK TO MY ACCOUNT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO TALK TO SOMEONE BUT THE WAIT TIME IS RIDICULOUS, AND I AM ON A GOVERNMENT PHONE WITH FIXED MINUTES. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS NOW. THIS IS FRAUD, TO SAY THE LEAST.
I will be reporting them to the powers that be ASAP!
Yes the same has just happened to me! Date: 8/16/2011 I am on a fixed income and did not authorize them to take $29.95 a month!
unauthorized monies deducted from my debit account. believed it would be a free week!
On April 26, 2011 I checked out the website of scoresense.com to check out the free credit score report. I was not surprise when I saw only one of the report credit agencies and after one free week if one wanted to keep the service they did nothing, but should you not want the service then you had a week to cancel. On May 01, 2011 I find a charge of $29.95 on my debit card. Please help me, I am a 52 yrs. old disabled woman on a fixed income.

charged without consent
I selected a free credit report that turned out to only cost $1, I agreed to the $1, but later received two charges of 29.95 on my credit card for becoming a member. I never agreed to any memebership but when I called the office to complain, they said I automatically became a member after 7 days and had to cancel before 7 days were up in order to not be charged. I never received the email saying I was a member - it was blocked by my spam. I used a credit card I don't use very often so I received 2 charges before I realized what was happening. I cancelled the membership, but my refund request had to go to a "panel", who decided a couple days later I didn't deserve the refund of $60 I guess, even though I never used the service. I didn't even know I was a member or had a login. My "free" credit report has costt me $61 so far, and when I read other complaint on this website, I'm not so sure I won't be charged more.

Email that I won't get a refund:
Dear Darcie,
After careful review of your ScoreSense account, we have determined that we're unable to approve your request for a refund for the charge of $29.95 that occurred on 2/26/2011. Your request was denied because you requested the refund after your initial free trial period expired or because there is not enough information to substantiate a fraud claim.
If you have any further questions, please call us at [protected] (Monday through Friday 8 AM – 8 PM CST, Saturday 8 AM – 5 PM CST or Sunday 12 PM – 6 PM CST).
Sincerely,
ScoreSense Customer Care
I tried calling scoresense back and asking again for a refund, stating I would call in the scam to my Credit Card company. The Person on the phone held his ground. Said I could resubmit my request but he didn't have any authority to make any refunds. He gave me a fax no: [protected]. I tried to be nice, but he wouldn't budge. He claims the agreement stated I would be automaically enrolled and charged after 7 days.

i want to cancel my membership this same day i read an ad for a free credit score. my card will be cancelled because i cannot afford $29.95 taken out of my disability check every month; especially since i will have nothing to show for it. this is dated Jan.3.2013 at 10:12p.m. and i think your charges should be in as big as the letters FREE!
SINCERELY

Like the reports i'm reading the very same thing happened to me too, word for word. When i saw mt monthly statement, i was very aware of the one dollar charge, but I knew nothing of the 29.95 charge. I called the company to inquire.I was told by a customer service rep that I could cancel "membership" that I didn't request my cancellation number was 5342093. Mind you I didn't join any membership anything. i got an email response that refunded the one dollar which I did not request. I want the 29.95 amount charged to my credit card which made my account go over the limit. They also emailed me regarding the 29.95 membership fee which I knew nothing about until I received my statement in the mail. They stated that they could not refund that amount as it was pass the seven day billing period. This is illegal, and they really need to be investigated as far as their online practices, and what we do as consumers about this company? sincerely gerry
we are also victims of this company; we were under the impression that it was a free credit report, then they told us we had to pay $1;00 we paid this then we could not access the report the first 7 days, after which we were charged the $29.95 later on we tried to get again and my pass word will not work and we called them and they would not change my password as they told me they did not know what program operated it. we are trying to cancell before too many more charges are added to the credit card, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I, too am a victim of scoresense trump up charges. I am not a happy camper at all . I talked with someone about how caniving they were about charging a person even if the seven days are up. I have never dealt with a company that didnt refund a customer back their money especially when it isnt clear that you will become a member without consenting to it. So this credit report isnt a $1.00 it was 70.00 oh 71.00 to be exact. Shame on this company.
i have never heard of scoresense un a week ago a company name scoresense took 29.95
off my card.they gave me another individual name, that use my card which i gave no one authorization to use my card.whom ever this person is i file charges.and scoresense
has not put my money back on my card.if i have to take further action i will, scoresense
will credit my money back on my card.and i have spoke with an agent about this situation
and she told me my funds should be credited back to my card.scoresense all about taking people monies. debra hollins
If Scoresense did not change your spam filter, its totally 100% you're fault. Now if they do charge you again; then you have a valid complaint.
took monies off of my credit card
Score Sense are a bunch of crooks, they took monies off of my card without my permission after I canceled in Dec. Beware of this den of theives!!!

This company need to be investigated. They advertise for $1.00, you can get your credit report. Then they went in my account/debit and took $29.95. This is false advertisement. When I call to inquire about my money. The man stated that it was blurrey, and might of not seen the $29.95. My report was 0 all the way across. The only thing I seen on my report...

After submitting my credit card information "safe and securely", my card was charged by however when I called them they had no record of my name or credit card information in their system. They told me they would look into it and get back to me, yet never even asked me for a phone number or email address to contact me at.
The representative that I spoke to said, "I'm sorry about that, is there anything else I can help you with?" Well yes, how about find out what happens to my credit card information when I enter it into your "safe and secure" site! How do you bill someone and then not have any record of it?
Ultimately, I've been left having to check my credit card statement periodically making sure that they don't decide to "not" have my information again and bill me!
My recommendation is DO NOT USE scoresense.com!

ScoreSense: They required credit card for "refundable" $1 charge. Suddenly, I'm swamped with credit/money/loan spams--dozens in one day. My credit card is charged twice. All the info "to unsubscribe" says to call [protected] before Feb 22. I'm still trying! Called already dozens of times every day-- on hold for 15 minutes each time, still no one answered! Don't know what their so-called membership charges are but I've got American Express to protect me, I hope.
This seems to be a window to huge spam mailing lists, and don't know yet what they are going to try to charge me. Their 800 # seems to be a fake as well. Scam!
That is exactly what I got... They wouldnt feel the same if it was there money... They are worthless no good ###s and need to get a real job... You talk to them they say they will put in a request done it three times now and they might as well of just told me all times that my request was denied... Worthless no good ### who obviously dont know what its like to live paycheck to paycheck relyin on the cash they steal from you...
Cara

money taken out of my account without my permission
I was scrolling through my bank statement and discovered a charge for $29.95 on December 28, 2010. I had never ordered or authorized any one to take $29.95 or any money from my account. I have tried to contact scoresense to return my money to no avail. I am tired of these things happening. I have had subscriptions to magazines with money taken from my...

Please stop deducting 12.95 from my account. I only used the credit report once. Since then I have been penalized with this monthly charge. What am I paying for? I can not access my credit report without going through the entire 1, 2, 3 steps of the internet process. Please stop. The substraction of this 12.95 is hurting my account because I have not budgeted this amount from my monthly statement. I had hope it was a one time only deal. Please stop.

I was charged $1 for a 7 day trial on 8/2/23 and I cancelled the service on the 5th day, 8/7/23, but still have a pending charge on my checking account dated 8/4/23 for $29.95. I want this $29.95 to be taken off my bank account immediately.
They are taking money out of my account that was supposed to be canceled and they didn't cancel it or said they did but didn't I would like my money back
I do not know how these people are and they charge my card

Going through account today I saw a fraudulent charge of $29.95 from SCORSENSE.COM. I've never agreed nor authorized these thieves to take a cent from my account and will take action if this FRAUDULENT FEE FROM SCORESENSE.COM is reversed. Stealing from the elderly is a crime!
