Over 3 months ago, I was told that in order to continue with an application I would have to purchase my credit reports from ScoreSense for 1$. It didn't say anything about that being a trial or even mention a monthly subscription. Then today I'm charged 39.99 that was not authorized. When calling to dispute the charge and cancel the apparent subscription, I was not given a direct answer regarding a refund and after asking multiple times; my account was still not canceled. First time I've ever been involved with this company and it was an absolute nightmare. Would recommend anybody looking into similar services go elsewhere.

I signed up for the "free" credit score on the scoresense .com website after finding it from a link on "consumer warrior" Clark Howard's website. I had already pulled all three credit reports and just needed an accurate FICO score before applying for a mortgage. I expected the $1.00 "confirmation charge" to confirm the validity of the card. According to their website this charge will be reversed and I could "Cancel at any time" before the 7 day trial period ended to prevent further membership charges. First the product is bogus! They aren't telling you that the score you receive isn't the one Mortgage companies and bnaks will use for your mortgage. In my case the score they provided was off by more than 100 points! This is a greater than 20% error rate considering the scale is only from 300 to 850 to begin with. This product is basically useless! Once I found out that the FICO they provided was useless I called them (the day after I signed up) and canceled. Not only did they not refund the $1.00 charge, they charged the $29.95 fee after I had called to cancel. I called them back and was given the runaround about the charges by two different operators. I have called my bank and initiated a fraud chargeback against them. I always knew that the CRAs (credit reporting agencies) were a bunch of gangsters with a license to steal but this is ridiculous! So let me see if I get this straight...you collect information about me without my permission, can't secure it from cybercriminals, sell it to companies which make determinations on whether or not to do business with me, then when I try to determine what you are telling other business about me you CHARGE ME for a bunch of lies! Are you kidding me?!?!?! What a ripoff! There should be a law against this...wonder which politician they paid off to create this racket?

On 12/25/2017 $39.95 was deducted from my checking account for services I did not ask for. This is a credit score company & I would not have paid that much money for someone to get my credit score. I would like a refund and appreciate it if you never take money from my account again. After reading the online comments this has been happening to others dating back in time. The only information I have is a tracing # which is TXUS Trace #61841. I would appreciate any help that you can give me.

I've canceled the service four times and they will not stop taking out money. I also changed my card number and they still found away to take it out. I've filed out reports talked to three different people on this and they keep telling me it's been canceled. Please if you are reading this DON'T USE THEM. I don't want anyone else to go through all the stress this company has caused me. I'm a single mother of two just trying to make it in today's society.

OTL Scoresense took out $1.00 from my checking account on 2/7/2014. Then they withdrew $29.95 for every month after that until I cancelled "my account" ([protected]), on October 30th. I have lost $988.35., Used my debit card for the withdrawals. I never signed up for this service as I subscribe to Lifelock. I have never had any communication of any sort from this company. I changed my debit card so that they could not take out any more money. My cancellation confirmation # is 811029. I tried to get my money back. At first they offered to return $59.90, but then they cancelled that.
I believe that this is a scam after reading all of the other complaints. If there is a class action lawsuit against them, I would like to take part in that.

OTL*Scoresense.com took out 29.95 of my Bluebird banking account on October 20 without my permission it was supposed to be free I've never heard anything from them and after they took that money that's when there were three other withdrawal out of my bank account from webSites I never heard of ,I got my money back from two of them but still waiting on otherr ones and for Scoresense to replace the 29.95 they took that from me
Red type on black background warning of a data breach at my bank (I thought); it popped up just as I logged in to my bank online and said I had to check all three credit reporting agencies. I clicked on it and checked one of them. Later I received several efforts to help me repair my bad credit - my scores were all over 800. I thought something fishy had happened. Two weeks later I received my master card bill with an unauthorized charge for $39.95 to ScoreSense. I called them and asked for a refund; agent tried to talk me out of it and I insisted. I don't know if that will do any good. I called my bank who cancelled my card number and reported it to their fraud office.

You are taking $39.95 each month out of my account, completely unauthorized. I want this stopped immediately. I did not and will not authorize this deduction. Now you owe me $79.90 and I wanted this credited back to my account right now. If I have to take legal action, I will. I have spoken to my attorney and he is prepared to issue the action to get this money back.
Where did you get the idea that I wanted this done each month? I am 85 years old and live on Social Security. So you can see that I can't afford this charge. If this money is not back into my account with 10 days, I will advice my attorney to proceed with the legal action.
I paid my $1.00 to get the info that I needed that day. I should have realized that once you had my information that you would us it illegally to make more money.

I called to cancel when I noticed the second $39.95 deduction was taken from my account. I had never used this website. The man on the phone was very nice, but all he said he could do was enter the request. The company refunded $1.

Unauthorized charges of $39.95 per month deducted from my Bof A credit card, for service I did not want or need, after a $1 charge. Supposedly an ongoing subscription that must be cancelled following the initial $1 charge. We didn't catch the charge until the third month! I cancelled immediately; however, they declined any refund! FRAUDULANT business practice!

When I apply for credit online, these crooks take $39.99 from my credit card without my knowing it and I canceled their un authorized membership the first time. They gave me a hard time but finally refunded my money. I got a new card number this time and I do not know how they got it. They lie about sending an mail about these transactions. My Discover card has been charged since Sept. of 2015, My Sears card has also been charged for the same company, again without permission. TWO (!) charges for the same product! On may 2, 2017 I went online to scoresense.com due to it offers for a one time $ 1.00 refund with 7 day trial period. I have tried to reach this company since thursday may 4, 2017 to cancel which it states you have to cancel membership and subscription, but this company can not be reached suppose to be open 8:00 a. M. To 8:00 p. M. You get a recording so they have charged my card 39.95 because they don't answer their phones.
I would appreciate if they would refund my money. If it were my mistake I could understand but this is not, at all a professional company, when you can not get anyone other than a recording, and does not give option to speak to a representative, again it is may 10, 2017 I called at 8:30 a. M. A recording. All I am asking refund the 39.95 back to my account due to no response from this company. This scam organization started taking 39.99 out of my credit card without authorization and with no contact. I have no idea who they are, I have no credit issues that I need help with and have no idea how they got my credit card information. They have a history back to 2010 of fraud and had to settle a class action suit in 2012. However it must still be lucrative to swindle honest citizens without legal action. Their leaders should be put in prison.

This despicable company preys on the elderly for a free credit score only to bill them 39.95 every month. I called to cancel and they immediately offered to lower it to 19.95 a month. After trying to trick you into signing up for another free bogus month, they dropped the price again!
