Misrepresented Lenox Lot
Won bid on 03/13/2023 from Goodwill Industries of North Florida. Listing was Titled as "Assorted Lenox Figurine Lot" and described as "...may contain UNSEEN flaws and imperfections...". Upon receiving the package, I was sorely disappointed to discover that the title and description were grossly erroneous. The lot of four items contained one that was clearly not Lenox, but a cheap ceramic figurine. Worthless. Two additional items had significant and obvious damage that was not declared. Again, worthless. A large angel has missing fingers and a nail head sized hole in the back with a large X shaped crack. A smaller angel trinket box is missing the wings completely. (This latter item was noted in the images, but my mistake for not noticing before bidding.) However, the damage on the largest angel and the non Lenox item would have been very obvious but not at all declared. I sent a message to GI of North Florida 03/16/2023 with these details, but have not yet received even an acknowledgement. Related photos are attached.
Desired outcome: Please refund one half of the total cost of $36.44.
My account was closed for no reason
I recently opened a shopgoodwill account on March 9th 2023. I placed bids on a few item and won 3. I was able to pay for 2 but not able to pay for the 3rd one due to these incompetent people deactivating my account for no reason. I did nothing wrong. I did not owe them money. My payments were on time. What gives these people the right to just do this for no apparent reason. They are a fraudulent company that rips people off. Their shipping prices are outrageous!
All I want is my account back and have the right to bid. If my account is not reinstated immediatley I will be contacting an attorny.

14k necklace
Good morning, I am coming to complain about the necklace that I bought online last week 03/02/2023 and the shipping was on 03/08/2023. when I received the item, it’s was not a solid gold but the hollow which is light for 14k solid gold that I was thinking because on the description the didn’t shows us the analyze test of the necklace just say it’s seems like hollow and 19 gram. I bought it 836.39$ and the same week I test them for a return, so they didn’t respond to me and today the response to me it’s impossible for the return I cannot return this item, it’s not okay because I bought something expensive which is not solid and this time money are very hard please help me to get back my money. On 03/02/2023 I made the payment of 14k necklace. On description they says it seems like hollow but the seller were not sure if solid gold or hollow. On the 03/08/2023 I received the item and when the test it, so it’s was hollow and not solid. After that I text the seller for the return, the seller says they will not be able to refund or return the item, so I text many time not positive answer. The item ID is [protected] in Goodwill industries Ontario Great Lakes, Canada. The necklace is not solid 14k which is 836$ that I pay for that please money is hard when we bought staff that are expensive, the seller need to give as a time to check and we are allowed to return item if the customer are not satisfied why they don’t want me to return something that is 836$. That is steal people money.
Online auctions
I have made 9 purchases. 3 of which were damaged during their packing prior to shipping to me.
Simply put items were significantly damaged compared to online listing and boxes were fine. Damage to the point of ruining items is not acceptable and yet business as usual for them.
It's almost as if someone working there lost the bids and damaged them...
All attempts to contact have been "forwarded to appropriate parties" and never get replied to.
Desired outcome: Refund on my damaged orders.

I started an account with shopgoodwill 10 years ago. There was one item that I did not pay for, and they disabled my account. My family members have tried opening accounts, and they disabled them because of my mistake. I do not think that this is fair at all. I donate to goodwill and shop there in person all the time. I'm not sure why they cannot reactivate my account, or allow my mother, husband, daughter, or son to open an account? They are punishing my entire family for the 1 mistake that I made 10 years ago. I have contacted them on several occasions, and they refuse to help me.
Desired outcome: I hope that they forgive me and reactivate my account, or allow one of my family members to create an account. This is not fair treatment. My family did not have anything to do with me not paying for an item.
Suspension of Shopgoodwill Account for no reason unjustified
I opened a shopgoodwill account on Feb 20 2023 to try to get some good buys and its become a nightmare with these people. My account has been disabled and suspended for no reason on March 8 2023 I am a Disabled American Veteran and they have discriminated me because of this. I recently was in the hospital for Long term Covid and did not have access to my laptop. I was not late on any payments, yet they claim I was. First of all, their shipping and handling prices are crazy. An item that weighs no more than 2 pounds needs a shipping price of $25? This company is nothing but a complete ripoff and false advertising of things that are broken, ripped, stained, smelly, dirty, falling apart and also found a dead bug in one of the packages.

I have been a fairly avid weekly, sometimes daily thrift shopped. I’ve never once reviewed a buisiness based on an employee but this one needs it so hard. There is a woman at this store, maybe in her 60s. She is the rudest woman I’ve ever encountered and it’s consisten EVERYTIME I’m there. Her impatience with everyone is grand and nuts clear she hates her job and everyone there. Every time I’ve asked her for a dressing room, she makes an annoyed sigh and rolls her eyes then yells some excuse about why I’ll have to wait, regardless of her doing nothing to help anyone else. Generally she yells at me 6 items at a time. Which I obey. This last time she said 4 at a time. And I had a full cart but ok. Yes ma”max she was ignoring requests from others so I had. a line waiting for the one occupied room while 3 others remained unlocked. I make my selections, hung the unwanted items uo outside the dressing rooms and took the hanging s of the items I was buying by. I waited patiently at the register 3rd in line. First thing she says, I beg you left all these hangers in the room. I say, “no, and hand them to her. Grumpily she Responds, oh I spoke too soon. There is no reason she shouldn’t be fired. That had is probably driving any good workers away
Shipping and handling ripoff
I buy a lot of jewelry items from shopgoodwill.com, their shipping costs are all over the map... How could it possibly cost 8 bucks to ship a ring? It weighs from 1 to 5 grams, a watch they will charge anything from a reasonable price of 4 dollars all the way up to 12 dollars... Sometimes on their auctions when they offer 1 cent shipping the charge a 10 dollar handling fee. Wtf is going on... I have written to them repeatedly... I just bought a movado watch for 68 bucks and then after all the shipping and handling nonsense the price is now 84 bucks!
They get all their inventory for nothing, they have nothing invested in any of this... And then on top of getting everything for nothing, they gouge the crap out of the the people that are supporting their cause by buying their products with all the shipping and handling. Shipping and handling should be free. It makes no business sense. These people need to be investigated. Shipping and handling needs to be standardized across all stores.

I wanted to bid on a small duffel bag that could fit in a shoe box.
When I went to the shipping charge it was actual weight 2 pounds six ounces.

I contacted the manager and she corrected it but left the shipping total the same..
When you get your package read the weight on the label, and you may find the actual weight is on it and not the claimed shipping weight..

My mother and me have been purchasing jewelry also & over the last year it’s become ridiculous that when you bid on a item for $12 then just shipping is 9.90 plus $3.88 for tax then this “handling” fee of another $4
An item that should have cost you $16-17 now is $30 or more
$16.70 for 12 memory cards that would make first class weight.
A lot of false advertising and fraudulent listings
There are so many items listed as leather that are nothing but plastic. Be sure to look at the tags that are inside the item when you receive. Goodwill in south florida blocked me from bidding because I called them out — with proof and pictures — of their fraudulent listings and their sheisty method of hiding behind the “sold as is” bs. I would never want to buy that fake mess from them. Out of the many items I won, I ended up getting most of my money refunded. They are horrible! Overall, some of the crap they sell at those ridiculously high prices with their ridiculously high s/h charges should be against the law!

on January 25th I paid for the HomePod which apparently was broken and I had not noticed till I contacted them and they showed me if you scroll down you can read under the 'read more' section that it did indeed say not working. so basically I paid them $106 for a broken speaker item #[protected] order #[protected] they shipped it to me on January 27 and received it today February 3 and I was completely disappointed when I plugged it in and it didn't work. of course I had not read the print at the bottom where it said it wasn't working. why not put that up front on the title? broken speaker for parts or something like that. im on a fixed income social security and took a large chunk of money to buy this thinking I was getting an amazing deal. why would anyone want to buy a broken speaker anyways? this is extremely unfair and I need a refund and I can promptly send this back. my credit card confirmation #122df8

I was the winning bidder on a high end pair of shoes and I paid the amount I was supposed to pay. I have been waiting for it to ship but I got an email a few minutes ago saying they have issued me a refund on my purchase. I am beyond furious! Goodwill ban online practice
I use to love thrifting at Goodwill but their online practices & customer svc is HORRIBLE!
I started bidding online for a little while & got sick, needless to say I forgot to track my bids. I won a few of them & due to not paying on time was deactivated. We tried to get resolution but customer service was NO HELP! Now I can't even get items paid at local store or refund for broken item. STAY AWAY FROM ONLINE AUCTION

I send an item I purchased back to Missouri Goodwill Industries Shopgoodwill Returns, 8007 West Florissant Avenue, Suite A, Jennings MO 63136 on 11/25/2022 and even though I provided the postal receipt and tracking information (attached) Clearly showing that they reviewed the item, they refused to refund us, claiming that they never received the item.

I have purchased Thousands of dollars of merchandise from Shopgoodwill.com with about 25% of the items being complete junk, I've always let it slide because I felt it was a good cause. Before Christmas I purchased 6 items and paid in full over $200. I've been waiting over a week to be notified when the items would ship but not a word from Goodwill. When I tried to log in most recently it said my account had been deactivated and all 6 purchases were refunded to my credit card without a word of explanation. I have emailed their customer help but I don't get any response. I am well aware of why accounts are deactivated but I have never been late paying on an auction. Why would an organization that professes to be generating funds to help needy individuals be returning money without even a word of explanation?
Desired outcome: I would like an explanation as to why my account was deactivated considering how much money I have spent with their organization.

Hello, I’ve been a “Goodwill Customer” a few years now & gotten quite a few items. A few times when I’ve tried to “sign in”, I’ve hit the wrong key & had to either start over or try to correct my typing. So if I’ve done this a couple times, I’m LOCKED OUT for an hour! Tonight there was a Fenton piece I REALLY WANTED & then I couldn’t bid as I was LOCKED OUT! This is SO maddening! Why do you care if I need to TRY to log in 3 or 4 times,if I miss a right key? Is this site “hacked” often? I can’t imagine….😵💫😡

They get investigated for their dishonest misleading business structure
I spent thousands of dollars on shop goodwill and about 88% of it was complete garbage. Beware if it says untested, it doesn't work! Always estimate shipping BEFORE you bid and check the weight because they will make a 2 pound item 25 so where you thought you could combine ship won't happen. Plus there handling fees are unbelievable. They are rude and self entitled. Definitely not a "feed the homeless" charity. They are their own entity with no rules no consequences no feedback. No govern at all. They are crooks selling garbage that shrug there shoulders at your outrage over receiving dirty broken stinky garbage they had the nerve to post to begin with. Honestly, you had time to photograph it write a story about it and post it but you never tested it to see if it works. Devious dealings my friends. They should be held accountable for rotten customer service and conducting slimy misleading business. But for some reason they are above the law. As is is there motto. You can't retract a bid. No returns. If you don't post for something you realized was worthless you get banned. Disgusting.

I did not receive my item that was purchased
On October 10, 2022 I purchased a DJI Inspire 1 Drone from shopgoodwill in Northern Georgia and FedEx stated that item was delivered with a signed signature. This item wasn't delivered to my residence nor did I sign for it. I called FedEx and they stated that I had to contact the. Shopgoodwill facility in whiched I called and left a message on there contact page. Doug Johnson responded and said he would not open an investigation with FedEx nor would he send me the FedEx documents I requested. He will not refund me my money and i am out $842

14K Gold Necklace Item Id #[protected], Ticket #5479983, Item #[protected]
I bid on and won a 14K Gold 18" Chain Necklace. However, when it arrived today, it's totally smaller than the seller's pictures of it. The seller is Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, Lexington. I contacted them however; they are unwilling to receive the item back and give me a full refund. They said, "No questions were asked regarding the item." I didn't ask any questions because I was trusting their pictures which made the necklace look much larger than it actually is. This is false advertising. I certainly did not get the item I thought that the pictures showed. I do not want this item and want to send it back for a full refund of $77.16. The seller is refusing to take responsibility for their enlarged pictures that shows a necklace Much larger than it actually is. I would NEVER have bid on this item if I knew it's actually size.

Fake and Damaged Vintage Coach Purse
I bid on and won a Vintage Coach bag for over $100 from shopgoodwill. It was shown with a certificate of authenticity from Entrupy.
I received the bag all smashed up and stuffed into a way too small plastic mailer which damaged the bag.
Not only is the bag damaged and not as shown in the auction, it’s also fake! The numbers on the inside of the bag indicate it was made in 1996 but this style bag didn’t get made until 1999. It is fake!
I asked them for a full refund but they are refusing!
