Dorzolamide hcl/timolol
I was prescribed this for my dog back on July 31, 2021. It cost $38.72 for 10 mL. Today September 27, 2021 it cost $113.41 for 10 mL. What I wasn't told was this was the name brand and not the generic. If someone would've explained that I would've taken my prescription elsewhere. I don't feel it's right that I paid 4x for a product that I thought was the same product I bought the first time.
Merchandise
Most of the time I visit Shoppers Drug mart in the Orangeville Mall, (150 FIRST ST) I seem to find empty shelves when looking for my item. This happens all the time. They either have one product remaining or none. It happens with laxatives, eye drops, certain wipes and Gravol. Does not re-stock these items for days and sometimes a whole week. Needless to...

I bought 24 tablets of cephalexin in Shoppers Drug Mart since we have more than what we need, I went back to Mervyn Dube Pharmaceuticals LTD. in Shopper Drug Mart to return it back with a copy of the receipt. The Pharmacist told me that we cannot return it back even though we are still within 30 days return period. We need your help before I file a complaint to the consumer protection services.

I have been a customer of Shoppers Drug Mart for many years. Yesterday I had most exhausting/aggravating experience at store located at 2355 Warden Avenue. The young lady at the check out was not properly trained. I told her that I am entitled to the senior's discount, before she even started to enter purchases; she did not provide the discount. The most...

I have been shopping at Shoppers for years. Today I went to 10800 Bayview Ave, Richmond Hill. I had too many things in my basket and I went to the cashier and the person said he is only accepting cash and for me to go to self checkout. I told him that I will pay cash then he said I have to wait for another customer who was not in the line. I was forced to...

I suggest that the area sales manager for Burlington West talk to store managers about stocking of items that are going to be in flyers. Two weeks now I've gone looking for Bounty 4=6 roll paper towels at 1450 Headon Road and 777 Guelph Line. Aug 29, Guelph Line, no stock of Bounty; Headon Road, one package of 4=6 "select a size". I bought it. I got it home and found that I paid full price and did not get Optimum 1000 bonus. Sep 4, same situation. Guelph Line, nothing (seems to be normal). Headon Road had lots of Bounty 4=6 but no select-a-size. Two packages of 2=5 "select a size". I bought one. >>> What's the problem?
I have attached the receipt from Aug 29; I would appreciate a rebate for the extra paid for the 4=6 that was advertised at $4.99. Also, the Optimum points. And talk to the managers.
Thank you. Bruce Dingwall, contact [protected] Optima [protected]
Desired outcome: Credit for overcharge; Optimum points.

I had changes to my insurance and so I needed to update my information. While I am aware there were issues with the insurance the lack of communication from the phamacist assitants and their ineptitude made the process even longer and more frustrating. I needed to get my medication from the pharmacy and had changes to my insurance and so I needed to update...

In an Ontario Shoppers Drug Mart in Hawkesbury, Eastern Ontario, the overhead signage for aisle contents guidance is prominently in FRENCH. The English text is much, much smaller and so difficult to read. Why is this? This is not Quebec, this is CANADA. Even in Quebec, English should not be disrespected as French is not disrespected in the rest of Canada.

Bought this item a while ago and it is still under warranty. It stopped working so I tried to contact the life brand multiple times and every time I only got sent to the voicemail and the robot voice told me to leave my information and they will call me back. It's been over two months since I called and they never call back. Therefore, I tried contacting the shoppers drug mart phone line and but they told me they are investigating. And it's been over a month since they told me that! Nothing has been done! I'm very infuriated by this situation.
Clear out/sale items
Today I entered Shoppers Drug Mart at 333 Dundas St Woodstock ON and a rolling cart was parked in front of the magazines with clear out items on each shelf. In a yellow bin there were children's sunglasses and ring bracelet combination packages from carton themes such as Cars, Hello Kitty, Disney Princesses, Disney fairies Tinker Bell and one pair of Joe...

I have been to your shoppers in Windsor and Tecumseh area to try to find 6 packs of diet coke only to find out both weeks you have none, if you cannot get the product don't advertise it, I'm not going in your store to shop your prices on cleaning supplies make and drugs are very expensive, you seem never have what you advertise in your flyers, I don't have time to run to every shopper in city looking for an item, I asked if I can get rain check answer was no, why advertise if you don't have the product, this happened before to on paper towels, I really only look at add in your store and buy things that are on sale if you have them.

I was in the Shoppers Drug at 2223 Bloor St W on the 29th of July, looking to purchase a hair color. L'OREAL Preference was on sale for $9.99 I purchased one and when I got home realized I picked the color number next to the one I wanted # 18 vs # 17 On the 1st of Aug. I am not one to complain about things, but I have had enough of this pharmacy. When I received government help with costs they hardly ever delivered, without me constantly calling. On the afternoon of July 15th 2021 I called my local shoppers drug mart +[protected]. With my 15 year old transgender son and my father sitting next to me. I wanted to book a second dose vaccine for my kid (age 15). I had thought that walk-ins were accepted however, the lady on the phone said that they have to go by appointment due to the number of vaccine available. The lady told me the next available would be Friday July 23rd 2021. The time scheduled was 2:30pm est. The lady took my child's name, preferred name and my contact information. At the time of the appointment we walked in to the store and told the pharmacist that my son was here for their short. Not only did the store not have the right vaccine but, we were told that because no one wrote the name down on a piece of paper that we did not contact the store. So the fact that I have call history supporting it, 2 witnesses and who knows what other proof that I contacted them, I am a lier? Does shoppers drug mart have an issue serving transgender people? What if we would have contacted a virus while making a now unnecessary trip?
I recently transferred all dealings I had with this pharmacy to a different store called pharmasave. Did you know that they apologize for mistakes? Crazy right?
I want nothing from you other than for you to do better with this store. If I ever consider returning to that location. I want to be treated like a human being.

Deceptive marketing practice
This Saturday morning July 24, 2021 at about 11am, I went to Shoppers at 5671 Steeles Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1V 5P6 to buy eggs which they are having on sale for two days: Saturday and Sunday. As expected they were out of stock, as is ALWAYS the case. I spoke to the (woman) manager and she told me to "try tomorrow". This is the standard situation at all Shoppers in the area that I'm familiar with; they advertise a 2 day sale for the weekend, put out a few dozen eggs on the shelf on Sat. morning, which will be gone in a few minutes after the store opens and an unsuspecting customer is pissed off because of his/her wasted time. Apparently this deceptive business practice is ok in Ontario where I live but not in Québec. (I've sent an email to Competition Bureau Canada to find out if this falls under False or misleading representations and deceptive marketing practices in the Competition Act).
Special offers of bonus optimum points
Visited a SDM in Pickering, Ontario on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Bought two bottles of Crest Mouthwash and noticed a small notice on the sale price card attached to the shelf. Seemed to say "Spend $50 and get 10, 000 Optimum points". Wow! Hard to believe because the print was very small and it was about thigh level. I'm 92, therefore my eyesight sometimes deceives me. Asked a fellow customer nearby if he would mind checking the sign for me. He agreed with me on the wording. I definitely bought more than $50 in items at the store and while checking out asked the cashier to check that I got my 10, 000 points. She said it wasn't coming up on the receipt. She asked someone with more authority about it. That lady went to check the mouthwash aisle, and came back with the news I had to buy $50 of mouthwash to get those points. By this time, we all had a good laugh.
To obtain my 10, 000 points I had to buy... wait for it...$50 worth of mouthwash. I could hardly wait to get home to spread the word with my family and friends about this very ludicrous offer from SDM. It sure gave me my laugh for the day.
I don't expect anything to be resolved because if that's the way it is, that's the way it is. But might I suggest whenever you have a gigantic offer like this, you print your sign much, much bigger and put it at eye level so that most of us can properly read it and thoroughly explain the offer.
When I think I've seen it all... something else will turn up to make me give my head a shake.
Hope my explanation of this my story abides by all the rules.
