i placed an order online on the 18 of july 2019 at the mentioned store (bergbron), i did an online payment of R314.80, a few minutes later i received a call from the store stating that they do not deliver at my address as its more that 5 km's away from them. when i placed the order i inserted my home address and this store appeared on the list of stores that deliver at my address. the lady that called said (jane) said the dont deliver, i said its fine .please forward me my money back so i can find another store that can deliver to my address .the lady said and i quote " we dont have your money, your money its in the air and it will be in my my account within 24 hrs. i asked if she could not liase with a store near me so i can get my order at least as i have already paid, she said to me no they dont do that .i asked several times what should i eat as its already at night and also with what money as you saying you can not give me my money immediately, she said its not their problem.i asked her why is she not even sympathizing with me or trying to find solutions .she said its not her that has the money its steers .i even asked does she not represent Steers if she works there .the answers i got where not in way to help me understand or solve the problem caused, as she kept saying its the steers online platform not them.
on the 19 i got no call from the store not even my money, some feedback at least.i had to call the store so many times that i was advised i will receive a call back in two minutes, i never did receive the call. i called like 3 to 4 times and every time, the ladies that answered would be laughing in the background that i am calling again. i called again and asked for a different manager or supervisor on duty that can help me as i received no help from Jane, until i spoke to joseph that said i will receive my money on the 20th the Saturday as he will make sure that i do by either sending a driver to do so.and he will call me in the morning just to give me an update .saturday came nothing happend, i called in late saturday and i was kept on hold for 5 mins for jane.she showed no remorse of the whole event .she said i must just wait for monday .bear in mind on the 18th she said within 24 hours .from this whole event i don not wish to encounter again even with steers ever again .i have received disgraceful, ill, non remorseful service. i was treated as if my money and wishes do not matter.
the time and money that i have lost due this event its a lot, the time spent trying to get someone just to listen to me and solve the problem. the time i spent i could have done a lot more valuable things to my life, the money that i have lost in airtime and interest that i could have earned on the R314.80 its a lot.this store is making a profit out me . its the 21st to today, i have not received a call not even my money.
please apply fixes to this that will still see me buying from Steers,
refund me my money and repair the relationship

I have been meaning to ask this for the last couple of months but I have been hectic. We stopped a certain steers to buy coffee(please refer to the location on the receipt attached) and we were charged a delivery fee. We enquired about this fee and we were told that it's a standard. Please help me understand how can walk in customers be charged delivery fees. I love steers as a brand and model but ever since that purchase Iv been sceptical to even walk in to any other Steers.

I am very disappointed in steers I went to go buy burger beef and chicken and they have me both beef burgers and my Daughter is Algiers to beef and also they never put on my extra cheese and I paid for it when I called the steers the ladies was rude to me and told me they can't deliver the other burger, I have my slips and pictures I'm very disappointed I am going to take this matter up with the oumbastima

dirty table and dirty catsup bottles
My family and I visit Steers in Saxby Center, Centurion on 28 June at around 11h00am. The table were we sat were uneven I had to balance it with my shoe. The table were dirty. The salt and catsup bottles were dirty and full of old and hart catsup. On one of the caps was a small peach of chip. This was not a very nice experience we had seeing that it was a special occasion for my family and me.

Hi on Tuesday 16 July 2019 we bought burgers,
1) The patties were not in a warmer but in a lunch box, the patties were cold. Shouldn't the patties be grilled as the orders come in? Because they grilled a lot and just put it in a lunch box thing, cold. The cheese didnt even melt when I opened the burger
2) the one burger was packed and opened 3 times, forgot the extra cheese, then forgot the sauce! We asked that a new must be made, our request was ignored.
3) burned chips! seriously, was this on purpose?
So very bad expierence from Steers Parkview Pretoria.

Last night we ordered 2 quarter legs with chips and a bun. Firstly the order took 1hour to be delivered. Secindly When we got the order there were no buns, called back and one lady said she was going to call us back, she didn't. Called again and they said the same thing. Called for the third time and they said they had no drivers available, as soon as they have they'll call us which was around 20h50. We didnt get a call back from them concerning our order and till today we still didn't get what we ordered. It's really a shame to have people saying they'll call us back but don't even, and we paid for the full order of a leg and bun.
And lastly the chicken was dry.
Also there was a delivery guy called "Collen" and that's the only person I remember as I didn't get the name of the people that spoke to us but the date is on the 17th July 2019 around 18h38. Steers in Philip Nel.

Hi, I bought ice cream at steers which was not even over the cup very little and when I told the lady about how tiny it was she told me there is a scale, with an attitude.. for the price that I pay for these ice creams it was pointless to buy the cup, might aswell bought the cone as it was equivalent.. I'm not happy especially because I'm a regular customer. The attitude made it even worse
I recently visited steers at gateway shopping center and sat on a broken chair and I fell.
I went to Steers at Gateway shopping center, I bought my burger, it was a takeaway. So I tried to sit in one of the chairs catered for customers and I fell down. No one came to assist me, when I look at the chair it has been broken long time ago, I don't know why it wasn't removed. But the treatment I received it is shocking. I didn't believe that all the staff members can just look at someone falling, dropping all my shopping and no one cared from the shop. I've made my personal decision that me and my family we'll never visit Steers.

I realize its a Sasol / Steers outlet on the Highway but the toilets are sub- standard.
The urinals are blocked and leaking . The floor as you can see on the video stained with ... basin blocked, bucket under urinal to catch the leaking urine! Look at the cleaning equipment. I reported the toilets since Des 2019 at the manager without any improvement. Please forward a cell number and contact person for a video clip. I know that Steers will react!

lies and bad services
I would to report staff at Steers François Road in Glenwood Durban, the time was 19:10pm when my nephew called them to place an order, she gave them the Address and the lady who who answered the phone pretended as if she doesn't know the address even her system can't pick it up so she told my nephew that she will ask the delivery driver about the address and eventuallyshe just dropped the phone and when my nephew tried to call back she noticed that her number was blocked and I had to take the other phone and called them back I did the same process to place the order and the lady said the delivery will be on the way shortly, we waited for an hour and when I called back I found out that even my own number has been blocked. Then I had to take a 3rd phone and called them and they picked up by
A lady who's name was Samkelisiwe and asked where can I expect my delivery and why are they blocking our phones and I was then told that it was late they don't do deliveries at afternoon so I argued with them that they promised that the delivery was on thr way and now they telling me that they don't do deliveries in the afternoons so I asked them why are they making a fool of me and they made me wait for an hour for nothing.
This is totally unacceptable and Steers can not be having such a bad services and behavior I request for a justice over this as they made a fool of us and blocked our phones just because they werelazy to do their jobs there are a lot of peopleour there who would appreciate to do the job than Steers keeping they lazy dishonest staff!
I have all the recordsof the call on my phone.
I will wait for the responseon this matter as soon as possible.

On the 29nth of May I ordered online 3 Wacky Wednesday one was both beef in one both then the other was one beef and one chicken, when I got the order it was incorrect the put beef instead of chicken I tried contacting them there was no answer the person I sent to fetch my order took too long because he said that when he got to steers the order was not ready and they never gave him a slip for me to be able to see who assisted him how bad is that, now they had to do it in a rush which caused an incorrect order for me I was so irritated.
When i got time it was on the 18nth of June I went there and spoke to the manager on duty by the name of MPUME she took my details n said she would do a follow-up n then contact me..I waited and waited and she never called .
On Tuesday the 9nth of July I went back to ask what is taking so long to get a call back she told me she lost my number and you know what I was no surprised because the 1st time I went to complain she was busy on her phone n didn't even had time for me she wrote my number on a serviette how unprofessional is that ok so I asked her did you even do a follow-up or not she said she couldn't because there are no cameras there I mean who's problem is that...their service is bad on a score of 0.01% from management down to the staff they are bad
MPUME the manager if you can't deliver good service n not taking charge of situations and well as paying attention to your customers then you don't belong there honey you might as well quit
wacky wednesday quality
On purchasing a chicken wacky Wednesday I could taste that there was almost no chicken in the burger when I checked I saw what you see in the photo attached the patty was 2mm thick like a slice of chicken polony and it didn't even fill 3/4 of the diameter of the bun.
It easy really sad that you need to pay for this quality of food, wacky Wednesday will not see me again.

I placed an online order more than 60 min ago. I called steers and asked about my order and the lady said that it is on it's way for delivery. It has since been 30 minutes and I stay 2km from steers. After 30 minutes the lady called me and asked me if I will pay cash or card. I told her that on my order I already asked for credit card on delivery. Then she said the driver is leaving now... I'm still waiting for my delivery and it is almost 2 hours now. This is unacceptable.

I ordered 2 burgers, waiter 25 minutes. The order was wrong and cold.
The employees were arguing in front of customers and not packing the orders as it came out.
The kitchen staff were not wearing gloves while touching the rolls and garnish. Nor was the one lady wearing gloves while working with the ice cream machine inside. The service was appalling and hygiene disgusting. The condiments in the store were all dirty with old dried sauce on. I didn't even eat my wrong order I was so disgusted. I could vomit.
the workers are not focused hence the food takes too long. a food order for a sit-in took 1 hour 30
The branch in mafikeng, situated in the northwest... Mmabatho.. Mega city complex are too slow when it comes to customer service and food delivery for a sit - in. The workers were arguing about who must go for lunch other than attending the customer.
After an hour when I went to fetch my sit-in order.. The cashier had not placed my order she.. Placed it when I was about to collect my sit-in. The workers make their problems.. The customer's problem., and it's not the first encounter this happens.

I ordered a wacky Wednesday and chips, at 15:53. Being a Wednesday, I'd assume that the staff would cater to a potentially larger influx of customers, I thought wrong, a seemingly simple task of assembling an order of what are the most popular items on a Wednesday is not that easy.
I waited nearly an hour for my meal, and during this time, approximately 25 nearly 30 minutes in, I enquired politely In a rhetorical manner as to when my food is going to be ready, as I saw the place where the waiting meals stay flooded with wacky Wednesdays and I witnessed at least 3 batches of chips go in and out of the fryer. Surprisingly I had been told to wait as the teller was busy sorting stuff out, then was told to come in 10 minutes without taking a second to look back and see a bursting supply of food behind her, (food had to be kept elsewhere as there was no space at some point), I come back 3 minutes later hopeful that maybe it's ready early, but alas it was ready nearly 25 minutes after.
Other outlets like McDonald's and KFC have screens to ensure that my order 153 would be served prior to 169, (let's set aside the roughly 45 minutes waiting time difference)
This really could help.
I could possibly be a teenager, but I was quite sure I had the ability to assemble a burger and chips within an hour, I was looking forward to enjoying a late lunch with my sister and mum, who ordered from debonairs and finished their food before I even got in the car as they were hungry.
Instead, I ended up eating early supper alone, and missing out on an actual supper with my family.
I am highly disappointed and doubt I'd eat here again anytime soon.
But for the sake of other customers instead of opening the 600th steers, install monitors in the stores to track orders.
I await a response, as I do believe in second chances, and I really don't want to go public with my dissatisfaction.
whacky wednesday
I bought wacky Wednesday for me and my husband for supper. I must say the food was wack... Your staff cares less about the quality of the food and they were just In a rush to knock off. The chicken patty was raw, the bun was soggy, the food is just disgusting. I have attached pictures and tell me if this food looks appetizing to your customers, not even a dog would eat that. I will be escalating this complaint because it's the type of food that often makes us sick. If we get sick with bird flu, brace yourself for medical bills. My contact number is [protected].

I phone Piet Retief Steers and placed an order around 16h00, the lady told me the order will be delivered within 30minutes. After an hour and 15minutes I called Steers and they said they were at my address but I was waiting all the time and no one was at my house.
I said that I will collect my order, when I got to Steers my order was one-side alone. They said the guy was at my house and that they did try to call me but I did not awnser. I did not recieve any phone calls after ordering food.
Assuming my order was complete I paid and went home, arriving home and unpacking the food, the food was ice cold and my order was not complete. I called back and said to the lady my order is not complete then after 7 minutes they delivered the missing food.
I ordered 3 wacky Wednesday specials and 2 large chips. We only ate a few chips as they were basically uneatable. And the burgers were soggy and the patties were cold as well.
I understand that when the company has a special things become hectic but, to serve your customers with cold food and an incomplete order and also having your customer drive and collect because you didn't deliver as you said you would is really unacceptable for me.
King steer burger on special
The display is showing king steer burger meal on special for R60 but the cashier insists that it will be available in August. My question is why is it on display now in July if it is going to be available in August, why do you fool the customers, what kind of marketing is this, and if really is marketing for August why does it not appear with the inscription :"only available in August?

Consistant Poor servce from Steers Ga-Rankuwa. I made an online order at around 19:42 _28 jul 19, and went for my collection at around 20:40, nothing was done and what ****ed me even more was that, i made 2 orders, one at fishaways then steers at the same time, both A and B struggled to find my order. Atleats the lady at Fishaways by the name of Tebogo admited that the system was having some problems and apologised, then rushed to the back to make sure that my order was sorted. On the other side (steers) i got to the till i met a guy by the name of Nephas, who struggled to find my other order as well.No sense of urgency, , not friendly or even had the time to consider that i have been waiting for almost an hour to get my order. I would like to understand why when i order at this branch, my orders are not attended untill i get to the store and i always have to wait extra more 20 min.. or more, with people who ordered after me. I am tired of this kind of Service at this branch, and its creating a bad name for for this amazing brand. I always order at Wonderpark and i have never experienced this.
