I have been using takealot for more over 5 years now and I'm hugely disappointed by the service recived from them.
I ordered 4 products from takealot for R1600, delivery was scheduled for Tuesday order #.[protected] [protected] MDX112751787 (Ref. [protected]).
On Tuesday the courier guy never showed up and to my surprise I got an sms at 5PM saying I was not available while I was waiting since 8AM for thr my delivery. I then reschedule thr delivery for Wednesday, my receptionist phone me that the courier guys is downstairs to delivery. When I got the the Wine i ordered was all over the floor in the reception area and also on the boxes wrapping other items. I then took pictures of the courier guy holding thr box that had my wine and other items in it.
I then phoned takealot to advise however,they said they are still investigating the Matter and they will come back to me, to this day I'm the one who keeps calling them to check on when am I going to recive my items. I'm nit sure why am I part of their investigations with the courier, all I want is my 2 items that are still missing and not delivered. My issues is with how they handling my escalation as if I'm still owing or I'm the one who messed up this whole transaction.
Desired outcome: Delivery my items within 24hrs or credit my account. Refund me.
