I've been shopping with Takealot for years and so has my family. But starting today I will go out of my way to never shop with Takealot ever again, you will not get a single penny out of me for the rest of my existence.
I'll explain why, I know that when you "log a return" you won't be refunded unless you have the packaging, and in this particular case I explained on my return notes that I discarded the package as my intention was to keep the item but since I sold my tablet and couldn't use the item anymore I would have to return it, I SAID - please don't collect if you cannot REFUND me as I discarded the packaging.
Yet, here we are with my lovely little return declined, so I contacted your useless call center and talked to one of your *********** agents just to inform him the decline reason would have been because I discarded the packaging, and he didn't know up from down. So, now I'm out of pocket because apparently, Takealot needs glasses when it comes to reading returns, and the reason returns are logged.
So yes, I scheduled the return because I spoke to Mr. ***********, and trust me when I say this, I was willing to spend money in the future and provide your company with continuous support from my side. But I promise you I will head and warn anyone who wishes to join Takealot to NEVER purchase from you again.
For all I care you could keep the product and I would dispute it with my bank.
Please take care of yourself and hope you know you lost a lifetime customer over one item.
