Annoyed that TD bank, you might as well say has me deceased on their records. As an account holder for 2 accounts since I have not shown any activity on any accounts, that is no deposits or withdrawals TD bank has placed both my accounts in an inactive status and has decreased my interest rates to 0.1% on both my accounts. Placing me in an inactive status you can interpret that as a deceased account holder. TD bank has my personal information on file, that is, home/cell phone, home address and email address so why the hell hasn't TD bank made any attempts to contact me to ascertain any information before placing my accounts in what I consider a deceased file.in addition, TD bank has failed to send me monthly statements in over 6 months, their preferred method was to stamp both accounts as inactive. TD bank also had the nerve to close down my debit card without any notice to me inform me of termination of my debit card, how does TD bank have the right to do this without making any attempt to contact me? A certified letter should have been mailed to me requesting that I contact the bank rather then stamping my accounts as inactive/deceased account holder, what nerve. These accounts will be closed down and I will be taking my business elsewhere and will be sending a copy of this email to the Commission of Banking and Insurance to confirm if in fact this is legit as I have lost my interest rate which I doubt TD bank will credit my account for the lost interest that I should have earned.

There are multiple times where the tellers made the deposits and payments into the wrong accounts and caused late payments and overdrafts.
Recently, there was a time at the Brooklyn, NY - Kings Highway Branch, when I was making a auto loan payment with the specific loan number written on the slip, and the payment was mistakenly made toward my husband's mortgage loan that doesn't even have my name on it. That created a late payment situation for the car loan.
And just earlier this month, I made a deposit at the Clark, NJ branch to a joint account using the specific ATM card, and the teller made the deposit into my personal checking account, as such my joint account got overdrafted.
In both cases, in addition to providing the written slip and the ATM card, I explicitly told the tellers to ensure the payments and deposits are made toward the intended accounts.
If TD Bank doesn't have a teller system that support customers with multiple accounts and/or loans, then they shall set the expectation properly when I open the second account and taken out a second loan.

After being referred to td bank from a well respected employee, I went into the branch at 545pm. I went to the teller and explained that I was looking into getting a To go card for my daughter to use. I made sure to ask if I had to have an account and he made sure to ask when he didn't know the answer. He was told yes by what looked like to be manager type. He told us to have a seat and when the same lady came by us, she gave us a look as though why are you sitting here, not how can I help you. I told her I wanted to get a to go card and she hesitated, then took is to her desk. She stated that we needed an account, and then my daughter was too young. She was not helpful in thinking of ways to help, we explained that my daughter needed a pre paid card to go on a school trip with. She kept stressing the no acount with them and my daughters age. Then asked us if I checked with our bank, I said no I was told to come here. She was not helpful and kinda of rude as to it was close to closing and we were a bother. Hence why I don't deal with td bank cause if you are not a customer you are nothing.

A car payment was not paid last May of 2017. A call from TD Bank was made to our house today(4/10/18)to inform us payment is due since last May 2017. We were shocked to hear of the missed payment. A call was made to Customer Service which was fruitless talking to the rep or supervisor. They did not care to hear we have not received calls trying to inform us or that a letter was sent to our home regarding the missed car payment . I am not including the information on the account until I hear back telling me this is the right area to complain to. Not only has the account accrued charges but there are points against our credit history. Never have I had this happen before or been treated so unfairly that the policy kept being reiterated by customer service . Please let me know what you would need to process this complaint. When I visit a branch on Lenox avenue near 125 in mahattan I asked why was penalties fees withdrawal from my account. When he check my debit card type. I had problem to login in to online and called customer services spend more than 50mins with them without help. She told me to branch for help. On this situation what is reason tb bank has create the department for customer services. Td bank online bank is very inefficiency. I opened tds account in 2012 when I was a student in hamilton ontario.. And after one year I moved to alberta and changed my address with no difficulties. I moved back to ontario this month and living in brampton now and today (2.16.2018) I went to td bank to change my address, csr denied to do that and asked for address proof.. My husband went to same location and changed his address in less than 5 minutes, no one asked for any kind of address proof.. I dont understand why they did this to me.. I have 2 year baby and I got off today, I know how I managed to go to bank to just get my address changed but they dint, I did that before many times with same bank in less than 5 minutes... My husband went to the TD location in Glenolden to get a cash advance of 1000.00 dollars from his Capital One Credit Card on Wednesday 1/24 between 2:30 and 3:00 pm. The black girl that took care of him took his card, swiped it then told him there was a hold on the card do to fraudulent activity which was [censor] because we just received the card Tuesday night and called Capital One to obtain a pin for the card, also she told him that he would have to go back tomorrow because you can not try to get a cash advance more then one time a day.My husband was so angry he walked out and called me to tell me what had happened.We had a Plumber on their way to our home as he was trying to get the money because our hot water heater went the Saturday before so I told him to go to the Franklin Mint Credit Union. He called me shortly after and told me he got GREAT SERVICe and he walked out with the 1000.00 we needed to get our water heater fixed. You need to train your employees on how to treat people because she is lucky I was not with him because there would have been a scene in the bank. I will file a complaint with the BBB because that is one reason why we took our business elsewhere and I will be telling everyone i know that banks at TD what kind of service they provide their Customers.Needless to say there was no resolution.

Just so you know I have TD bank account here in FL as well as Canada, I am a US citizen working and living in Florida originally a resident of Canada so I have dual, my complaint is about TD Credit card as this is no doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with in over 50 yrs. of doing business and the fact they are connected to you is very detrimental.

One December 13 and 14, 2017 TD Bank branches cashed a forged check with the signature and spelling of my last name spelled wrong. The first check cashed teller did not require ID and both numbers the written an numeric were different. You had to be deaf, dumb an blind not to notice the check was not right. Nonetherless, TD Bank cashed it, later the following day the same person cashed another check forged as well at a different branch. This time the teller had a half a wit and asked for identification. The person cashing my check actually broke into my home and made off with two checks. This has caused me alot of trouble and my money has not been available to me. This has caused me alot of trouble and with infant twins I ha d trouble getting formula for them to eat. Your training is not at the top level. Will you be prosecuting this person who did this since they left their identity on the second check?

Worse bank EVER! I called to obtain my balance and because I didn't recently have a transaction over $25, they couldn't verify me! So the verification of my $10 and $23.75 transactions made yesterday,
SS #, DOB, address, DL #, account number, debit/credit card number wasn't enough because I couldn't verify a transaction OVER $25! THERE ARE NONE! That's the ONLY thing you go by to verify me? This absolutely pissed me off! Glad I cancelled my personal account with TD bank!

Brigantine, NJ branch. I was behind an elderly gentleman in this bank today, almost 100 years old who I know personally. This gentleman is blind and deaf. The young black woman (he's white) who took his transaction was impatient, and disrespectful.
This man is an icon in this town. At one time he owned most of this town, was the mayor and has a street named after him. He fostered and adopted many children and sent them all to college! He is a very good man with a huge heart.
I attempted to fill her in on who he was but she seemed very uninterested.
TD Bank needs to better screen and train ethnic employees, as the rest of us are expected to be tolerant and respectful of them. Treat people the way you want to be treated! Have some respect and tolerance for the elderly.

I am currently on hold 50 mins and climbing waiting to speak to a customer service representative...I have a major question/issue I need resolved and I am holding for almost an hour on two lines...The other line is through the TD app which I was told would get me faster service...This is obviously inaccurate; I wish I could send the screenshots I've taken of my hold time...I've been a loyal customer for several years and this is beyond ridiculous...You need to revamp your entire system and hire more representatives or you will most certainly lose customers...I'm about to take my funds elsewhere...

This complaint is in regards to the biased, judge mental and dishonest management at TDBank, Somerville main st ( NJ ) location.
- I brought in a check issued from a courthouse 20 min from this location.
- the check from the court had full description of its nature .
- I receive an alert that my account is being accused of fraud from the branch location itself .
- The manager then claims " its the bank this check is from, they claim it might not go through, I will need email verification from them "
- so I called the bank the courthouse used myself .
The teller LAUGHED, and said she was incorrect about that policy, that it's impossibld for the courts check to be bad .

And she is dishonest . She does not deserve a position in customer service .

This is a formal complaint against Corey D. Jenkins (Corey.[protected]@td.com). As a high value Canadian TD bank client, I was left stranded without USD cash while visiting NYC during a business trip. When attending TD bank at 1290 avenue of the Americas on Nov 20, 2017, I was treated with disrespect and rude customer service by supposedly manager Corey Jenkins. Rather than be provided options to exchange USD cash in the simplest and cost effective way, he was rude, disrespectful and was condescending when I approached him with my dilemma. He refused to assist and told me to call the TD phone line despite me being at the branch and without access to local phone access. I was extremely disappointed with the level of service and expect better from TD bank. I expect a reply from the management at that branch as such disrespect has no place at Td bank. I would like to know how it is possible to waste 53 minutes ( & counting) waiting for a customer service rep to pick up the phone & resolve a debit card issue caused by your bank. My debit card (business account) was denied twice on 11/05/2017 & I was foolish enough to call the WOW! service number. WOW is absolutely correct. WOW that was bad, WOW I cant believe you even call this customer service, WOW you easily have the worst customer service response I have ever seen. After patiently waiting over 27 minutes for a rep to pick up the phone when he found out it was a business account he told me I needed a business rep & placed me back on hold. The original 27 minutes was absurd but the fact that you have now cost me an additional 26 minutes & still have not answered the phone is completely ludicrous! I will be closing out my accounts with your bank within the week & encouraging everyone I know to do the same. Call centers in India do a better job than your company. WOW service, Most convenient bank, blah, blah, blah. Exactly who do you think your fooling? Certainly not the sucker (myself) who wasted, now over an hour, on the phone waiting for resolution. You have cemented your place in history as Americas worst bank, hands down.
