service/management
Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers, NY. We arrived at 6:15pm enough time before Happy Hour is over on the weekdays. However, being that it was crowded it was understandable we had to wait for an hour. When we finally sat our waitress Pealoa walked past us several times without greeting us or placing our order. At this time it was 7:16pm and there was three other customers who arrived after us and was able to place an order before us. When we got the waitress attention asking can we order she stated "you guys looked confused so I wanted to give you more time". I thought the comment alone was unprofessional and also her tone was aggressive. She then walked off and still did not place our order. I then asked for the manager Desmond who look un-presentable in terms of attire and had stains of food on his mouth while talking to us. However, he did apologized for the wait and asked what did we want for free appetizer and soft drinks on the house. We order two ice teas and hot wings. Again we waited for another 20 minutes and nothing. I asked where was our appetizer and we was ready to place our order the manager did not come back and my boyfriend and I walked out. I never felt so much racism in my life. I wanted to report this incident because we was the only African American couple in that section and everyone else was white or Hispanic. Due to this horrific experience I will not be dining at this specific restaurant again and this is an embarrassment for all Fridays restaurant!
tgi fridays drinks/ribs/dessert at shanghai, china
Dear,
I've tried the "contact" on TGI Fridays official website, but it didn't work. Hope this one could get to you.
As a Fridays loyal guest, I have been to the newly open Raffles Fridays several times. This time I treat my friends who traveling here to the Fridays near the Bund, but I did not know it would be a bad start.
The service is not on-time, maybe it is because we came in the afternoon, not a peak time. It is difficult to find waiters. The Gold Medalist, my favorite and must-order drink, does not have the strawberry and banana. The ribs were almost too dried to be like pork chewing stick, doesn't feel like a grilled one and I can't find the grilled marks, either.
The plate for the brownie is not the same as I used to see when I ordered in another restaurant; I casually asked the waiter the reason of this. He said it is because the plate will be too hot, so he doesn't want to use the original dessert plate. Well, I can only tell myself maybe he is just the kind of naughty free-style special waiter.
As for the unpleasant experience we had, the manager did come to offer his name card and have a small chat, but no more. Ok, thank you and no thanks! Don't think we will meet again.
Therefore, I am writing to you at American headquarter asking to bring me back the once juicy and delicious ribs. Is there a chance for you to do something and help us who once Fridays-lovers here?
A once loyal but now sad customer, Shanghai, 2018/4/11
customer service
Hi there I decided to eat at your restaurant in Gloucester quays a while
Back and had my partner with me and a baby who was under 1 years old.
The restaurant wasn't very busy and we were put it a far corner away from everyone else and it seemed an effort for a member of staff to do this. To be honest it felt as though we were being discriminated against as we had a young child.
The area was cold, didn't have a nice feeling to it whatsoever and our experience was ruined.
Table service... we were left until the end to serve, if we hadn't had a young baby and weren't so hungry we probably would have just got up and left because I have never had this sort of treatment in any other restaurants.
May I add the baby wasn't crying at all, and when we arrived and asked for a table it seemed an effort because we had a pram with us.
If your restaurant is me at to be a family friendly restaurant staff urgently need to be reminded of this.
I don't have any staff names as they have been forgotten unfortunately but I do know that it was a young lady who obviously needs some training in this department.
Yours sincerely

elastic band found in food
Hi
My name is Matthew Morrelle
I am currently on vacation in Las Vegas with my family from Wales in the U.K.
We have been travelling the country lightly and we decided to travel to Los Angeles. Having got a hotel we wanted to go for food and found TGI Friday's online.
The address of the restaurant location is
3518 Rosemead Blvd, Rosemead, CA, 91770
Everything was perfect, the server was very helpful and kind, main meals were stunning.
We ordered a desert for my son of which he had the cup o dirt and that was when things went wrong. He had a spoon full and he said there is something chewy, he then pulled a piece of electric band out his mouth, to my horror I told him to spit it out. I then called over the server who was called Marcos, and told him what had happened, I then went through the desert while he was there and I pulled another piece of elastic band out. He then called for the manager, who is Neo Garcia. He told me the complaints procedure after reducing the meal bill. All well and nice for him to do so, but...finding such an object and my son actually putting it in his mouth and chewing it is in my eyes totally unacceptable, who is only 10 by the way. I've taken it this far as I believe it's the right thing to do in such a situation and was also advised by the manager to do so also. I'm not going to start making demands but I think myself and my family should be compensated in some way for this as it could of been much worse if that elastic band got stuck in his throat. Then all sorts of people would of been involved.
I hope you can understand my complaint and really hope to hear from someone soon as we travel back to the U.K. on Monday coming

worst service at tgif, #2737
Let me start by stating, the server, Emily# 618 on the date of, 3-1-18 was at no fault. The complaint is toward the bartender and staff working with her that evening.
We were made ware by the host, they were understaffed. No problem there.
We were left waiting nearly 15 mins before we met our waitress.
Gave her our full order, drinks, food and water. Nearly 15 minutes later, nothing. We stopped the host and asked for our drinks since they were simple, one beer, one wine and water. Another 10+ minutes, nothing.
When the waitress returned, she was empty handed. Another 10 minutes she returned with the wine and water, no beer or food and further explained that my they didn't have my food order because they were out. OK. In fact, this location was out of many things, except customers.
Changed my order, still no beer and the waitress explained that the bartender was busy and doesn't work well with help. Really?
Gave up on the beer and asked for the check. Wrote on my tab, "Worse service ever." Swore I'll never return. I use to like TGIF's but recently noticed that it was going down hill and stopped going. Gave it the chance last after a movie only realize to my surprise, became even worse.
Note; I wouldn't accept a gift card or re-gift if given one. I'd rather shred it than torture anyone with this lack of service.
service
My son went to your facility in in Decatur, GA, phone #[protected] on business. He is a gay white male and sat in your establishment for 45 minuets before he received a glass of water. They never came back to take their food order.
My husband, who works for the same company had tried to call them at least 12 times to speak with the manager. They kept hanging up on him.
My husband's company travels to this area several times a year.
In my opinion, This is racist and very unprofessional situation. My husband has been to your establishment and has not had an issue. Because a gay white male comes out to eat dinner, now there is a problem.
burgers/starter
was the worst food i have had this was my first time and my last the food we had was not cooked and the waiting time was not good we book a table for 8 oclock and did not get one till half past it was a surprize for my 18 year old and it was the worst experience will not be going back the food was raw so when sent it back i ask for a take away and when i went to eat it was just like the over 1 raw plus my daughters food was just as bad. my food was a warrior burger and my daughters was a garlic bread starter
service/unethical
I called ahead to inform them it was my daughters 16th birthday and there would be 7 of us. I asked if they would sing "Happy Birthday" and bring out a cupcake or something. The kid on the phone asked me to repeat at least 3 times and to give my name. Upon arriving I was greeted by a young man who had no idea about my prior phone call and were seated. I reminded the waitress 3 times, and the manager who was helping, that it was my daughters birthday...service was ok, but they forgot items that I had to ask for more than once. I wanted oil and vinegar for my salad they brought me out some thick stuff and said they have no vinegar, then said they have apple vinegar and came back out and said this is all we have, it was a thick jelly like dressing that I would never use. I asked for more tortilla chips, which require no cooking, and they Never brought them out. Dinners came out. I waited for them to sing and bring out a dessert, never happened. I asked them about this and the waitress says. "well its busy, do you really want us to do it cuz I will ask." She says this out loud so my birthday daughter and her friends can hear this and it was not busy, not people were waiting to be seated as you see in other restaurants at 5pm on a Saturday night. I told her and the manager to forget it, they apologized and I told them their service and manner and lack of listening was horrible. I was so upset leaving without even an acknowledgment of my daughters birthday that I can Not believe this place even operates. I use to love TGIF's but this place has gone down the tubes and will Never go there again. I want everyone to know that this place has low quality service, food and just does not care about its customers...I still tipped 15%. SO upset and done with this place forever!
OMG, you brought your daughter to a TGIF for her sweet sixteen bday and are pissed they didn't provide a free cupcake and sing to her? Seriously? I feel so sorry for your daughter.

Good morning. I hesitated to send this complaint as I am not usually one to complain about food and service unless it is absolutely horrible. I have been to this Friday's before and there has never been any major problems with service and quality but on Sunday, January 14th it was terrible. Me and my group (two others) sat at the bar to watch the football games that were already in progress and it took a while to get service (that is not the issue). The issue came in after we ordered and received our food. Me and my group ordered a "bag of bones, three orders of wings and a few drinks. When we received the food the "bag of bones" came out as ordered but the three orders of wings came out in all sorts of numbers. The Jack Daniel's order came with 9 wings, the BBQ wings came out with 8 1/4 wings (see pic) and the garlic parmesan wings came with 7 wings. Now all wing orders from the time I have been going to this place have always been 10. I asked the server what the number of wings were supposed to be in each order and she responds, "I think 7 to 10". I then asked the bartender and she stated, "Not sure but I think 10". I asked to see a manager as I seen him standing in the back and he didn't seem like he was in any rush to speak to customers. Once he did come over he asked, "What can I do for you sir?" I stated that I didn't get a full order of wings on any of our orders and he said in a very condensing tone, "So you would like us to bring you out a total of 6 more wings". I said yes...and again he repeated louder, "so you would like 6 more wings". He made it seem as though I was doing something wrong by asking for my full order. I have to say I was super disappointed with this and as a manager there are other ways to speak with people. I was not rude or anything with him so I am not sure why he was that way with me. A few of the customers saw and heard how he spoke to me and were in shock as were my friends in my group. Needless to say I did get my "6" more wings but the night was not the same. I think that these things shouldn't happen and I am still upset about the whole incident. If these are the type of things that happen at your restaurants I no longer want to support the franchise. Such a disappointment. I would like a response to my complaint. Please feel free to call or email me. Thank you for your time.

food
My boyfriend and I are frequent customers of TGI Fridays and lately they have been changing the menu and we are not happy about it. We order expensive meals such as jack Daniels ribs and steaks and usually order the mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. Well a few months ago we noticed the mashed potatoes were different, no chives and didn't taste homemade. Then, today we went and the mac n cheese was literally KRAFT mac n cheese (admitted by the waiter) which was disgusting. It used to be homemade with penne noodles and seasonings and bread crumbs on top. I was extremely disappointed. Also the steaks have not been as good of cuts as usual. We used to say that this was our "go to" place since it was always consistent. Needless to say, we have been disappointed and are upset about these changes.
service and food
To whom it may concern,
Me and my partner visited your restaurant in Cardiff st David's on 18th November 2017 around 4:30pm
As it was a rugby match day we expected it to be busy but this still should be no excuse as if you couldn't accommodate the numbers, maybe you just should turn us as customers away rather than make most customer dissatisfied, we asked the lady how long the wait was, the lady confirmed around 25 minutes for a table.
We waited as this is what we normal wait, we got sat at the table by 4:50pm.
We ordered food by 5:00pm.
We waited patiently and there was no sign of the food, it then turned 6:00pm and the patiences slowly were decreasing as we didn't order nothing complicated, it turned around 6:10pm and the food arrived, to be polite it was horrendous. Chips were cold and hard like if they had been cooked ages before serving and the chicken was chewy. My partner food, he had the gravy seal and left the chips and whatever was slapped together, he only ate the burger, we ate what was Edible and just asked for the bill. As we had a train to catch by 6:50pm and we paid at 6:35pm, Which was a total of £39.97, as you can appreciate with the dissatisfaction and disappointment we had paying this bill just made it worse, we didn't raise it with a waiter as they were rushed off their feet, they had no time for us as customers at all and we would of had to wait another 30 minutes for it to be sorted like the table next to us. It's seemed like they just give the food is whatever state but happy just to take the money and deal with the next customer.
As we visited your restaurant often for special occasions as you can imagine we was disgusted in the service, timing and food we was presented with.
We always recommend your restaurant but since this experience it has changed our thoughts and opinions. I am wanted to be compensated for the waste of time but not only that the hard earned money we spent and just terrible and unacceptable food servicing and timing. If you require proof of the receipts I am more than happy to provide you with these.
I will look forward to your response
Kind Regards
Emily Woodland

I don't know how to complain about one of the branches in Bahrain (Seef Mall Muharraq) so i am complaining here hoping my complaint reaches the concerned person. It is sort of acceptable for a mistake in the order, but to a level of feeding me a bloody steak even though I ordered it well done and serving it cold to the point of not being chewable and when I send it back and canceling my order seeing the waitress discussing it with the branch manager and no action taken from the manager, that is not acceptable in anyway in any book. You should be more selective on which branch manager to choose and to take customer complaints more serious. It's not the first time an issue happened to me while dining in Friday's but to fall to this level, this is a new standard of hospitality I have never been exposed to in any restaurant anywhere around the world, even hotdog stands.
food on nov 11, 2017
I was on vacation in Melbourne Florida and decided to go to the location at 2000 Evans Road in Melbourne to celebrated by Birthday with My girlfriend and her 89 year old Mom. I go to Fridays all the time in the Chicagoland area and have never had a problem with anything that we have ordered. Her Mom and I decided to order the ribs because they were on special and I told her how great they were and how they fall of the bone and they are the best. We received our order and the ribs were so tough and hard to cut into and very hard to eat, you couldn't even pull them apart. We asked to talk to the manager and showed them to him, he said that they shouldn't be that way and offered to make some new ones...we were turned off by then. My girlfriend order the flat iron steak dinner and she ordered medium rare and it was well done. Not sure if they have a problem in their kitchen but we were disappointed. They did send a new rack home with us but I left to head back to Chicago and they called me last night and said the new ribs were just as bad and they couldn't eat them. We paid for food that was not up to par for the Fridays we have in Chicago. Must have been overcooked. It left a bad taste in our mouths against Fridays. Should have gone to Smoky Bones instead. My check # was 3908 TGI Fridays store #1518 on Nov 11. We ordered two full rack of ribs and a Flat Iron Steak Dinner. Hope to hear a reply soon.

service
I just left a Fridays in Grand Rapids Michigan on 28th street, we walked in at 6pm the hostess said we have a 15 minute wait or you can sit in the bar area, so we sat in the bar and we sat, we never got a Hello or a glass of water. The ladies in the bar were a little busy but not that busy where they couldn't say hello or can we get you some water, at 635 a group of 4 ladies walked in and sat like 10 minutes and low and be hold the bartender says I'll be with you in a few minutes, I asked to speak with a manager which one never came although I seen her walk by a fee times, I am SO DISAPPOINTED in Fridays and we come there at least 2/3 times a month but usually the one on Alpine but after this I think it won't be that often. So so disappointed with fridays, the manager and all the staff who walked by and never asked had we been helped or anything. I wish I could post this other places so people could really see how Fridays can be.
quality of meal provided to our group party october 26, 2017
We brought our family - a group of 10 - out to TGI Fridays in Westlake, Ohio on October 28th, 1017 @ roughly 2:00 P.M. We were finally served our food around 3:15 P.M. Onion rings were found in one of the soda glasses; Coleslaw was very dry without dressing mixed in it; received incorrect number of fry orders; one of the burgers served had a hair in it; only 2-3 bacon bits on sides; chicken was very dry; potato skins were very dry; gluten free burger was placed on wrong order with gluten containing meals and then brought to our table since I was missing my meal. We waited over 1 hour for our food to be served. When my husband Arthur asked what the hold up was the waiter actually raised his voice and rudely stated the food is being cooked. We had to constantly track the waiter down for refills and other needs. We generally visit the TGI Fridays in Strongsville so this service was quite a shock. Eating utensils were honestly filthy and apparently the dishwasher wasn't working properly. I have never eaten at a TGI Fridays with such conditions as these. I was so happy to finally find a restaurant that offered gluten free products that were safe and tasted good. Sorry to have to complain but I feel this should be checked out. Our receipt was from 459 Michael Chk 1425 tbl 31/1 10/28/17 @3:34 P.M. Total payment $160.00
slow service, old cheese
I visited the TGI on 11/9 on la tijera boulevard, los angeles for dinner. Service was slow to begin with- took the waitress 15 min just to come and take our order. We ordered endless appetizers so that we would be able to eat a filling meal. Every time we ordered a new appetizer, it took 15-25 minutes to get a new plate of food. We were at TGI for over an hour and a half when we thought it would be a quick trip as we had something else planned afterwards. I also ordered a bacon cheeseburger that appeared to have old cheese on it- the texture was strange and stringy. Definitely not the freshest ingredients around. Please advise and improve the service.
customer service
I would like to file a complaint against Mariam Kamara located in Largo, MD. I approached the host stand asking to be set and she just LOOKED at me as if something was wrong. And I really do not appreciate it my mother felt unwanted because of her negative attitude. Also for and assistant manager I don't believe she is qualified. And should be watched. thank You!
She may have been confused or hard of hearing. I have a feeling that you know her personally or know more than you stated as it is unreasonable to make the assumption that someone is not a fit assistant manager just because they looked at you.
poor service
My spouse and i visited the Fridays in Westbury ny 11590 on 10/22/17 at 12:30 am. The waitress took our order drink order and proceeded to the bar. Upon receiving my drink i informed her that it wasn't very good tasting. The waitress said she would come back and let me order another drink and i patiently waited. The waitress came back in 10mins with a different drink and said here try this much to my surprise because i didnt order it. I told her it was ok and continued to order my meal. The waitress later came back and asked us if we wanted to wrap our food up and my spouse wanted another drink so he ordered one. To my surprise once again she put the bill on the table without asking us if we wanted any desert. As we waited for the other drink which took 15mins the waitress then began to sweep the floor and my feet in the process. This waitress was either under trained or rude by nature. Fridays needs to do better with their staff rude is never appropriate.
It sounds like she may have been a little forgetful, but rude is a stretch.
