employee theft!!!
Approximately 3 weeks ago I went to Tim Hortons (tel Number 604-792-3423) in Chilliwack and gave server at drive thru 20 for two ex large coffee. I should have received 15.30 in change, but after I drove away she had only given 2 five dollar bills instead of 3 five dollar bills. The way she gave me the change was very odd also, she crumpled it all up and tried to give it to me along with the coffee - in one motion. I am a daily visitor to this timmy's, going in early morning hours (2 am to 4 am).
I went back the next day and asked her if she was over on the till cuz I was short; she would not speak to me! I went inside and explained problem to a staff and then the manager. I did not hear back from manager so I called in a few more days and reexplained and suggested they watch the tape! No response! I called this morning at 910 and was told the manager too busy to come to phone, called back at 950 and got the same answer!
By the way, I no longer see that staff person who stole five dollars working! I am still out five dollars and have not been treated very well by local tim hortons. I am a senior on a pension and do expect better customer service than what I have received. I want my five dollars and an apology from local timmy's!

reward card
I am very frustrated and upset with tim hortons! You start this reward program but every time I try to use it there is some kind of excuse on why I can't use it! They don't ask if you have a reward card then after they start ringing even when they just started the order they will not take the card. Now for the last two times I have gotten our scanner is not working! If you did not want your customers using the reward program why start one in the first place! It's happened to me 4 times. Just this morning at the romeo, mi tim hortons. They once again told me the scanner is not working! I stop for coffee every morning for coffee at tim hortons but that is going to change. This reward program is a joke. Please contact me at [protected]@frontier.com and let me know how you are going to. Correct this so I can actually use this card!
Thank you. Have a blessed day

rude employee
Approximately 2 weeks ago an employee Brennan Miller in the Barrhead AB store over heard 2 friends of my granddaughter talking and my granddaughters name came up, this said employee Brennan Miller over heard them and said Mackenzie **** (will not use her last name) and proceeded to say some pretty nasty stuff about my granddaughter in the store. He said this nasty stuff to 2 of my granddaughter s friends, one works in the drug store part That kind of talk is not and should not be tolerated. I will not tolerated it, your store already gets run down enough as it is
paying a extra $1 for expresso and it's not added in my drink
Everyday I order a large French vanialla cappicino with a shot of expresso. I do realize the difference when it's not added however I have been lied too due to lazy staff not wanting to admit it's not in there where they would have to admit their wrong and reopen the cup. Tim Hortons even wants the old food or drinks back when they screw up. Tim Hortons can cheap u and still isn't willing to compensate their customer providing good customer service. Why is this ? How have I been compensated after several times of not getting what I paid for ?
breakfast
Last f...:. Time I'll be going to Tim hortons in Antigoniah James street location for a while 3 damn days in a row can't get a order right to save their life. When you order and pay for something you expect to get what you pay for. First day coffee was only Luke warm yesterday I ordered breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel with bacon and sausage on it...

This morning I go to tim hortons and get breakfast. Sausage breakfast sandwich on an english muffin in a meal with a large dd. Total comes to $6.65
I scan my rewards card (I had 1 reward waiting to be used) after they scan my card he tells me that I got my coffee for free. So my new total is $6.65 the exact same amount as it was before. But now I have lost my reward. You need to give the option to cardholders on weather or not they want to use their rewards. Instead of being forced to use it when it doesn't benefit them.
Yesterday I bought a coffee in the morning & then at lunch stopped again & bought 6 coffee & 4 Camp Day Bracelets.
This morning I was told that I only had 2 of 7 on my Rewards Card because I only get one for 6 coffee. This is not much of an enticement to those who purchase several coffee a day but buy multiple beverages per visit. I would like a reply to my email campantlers52@gmail.com
worker
Requested double cup. She than got an attitude. I asked for her name (not wearing a name tag), she refused than told me to get the [censored] out of drive thru. We pulled to the front of the store, went in she still refused to give me her name. The manager honey came out, I asked for her name and gave it to me. Her name is doral (unsure of the spelling) african american lady. I'm not happy as I have worked for tim's for 20 years off and on. I'm actually appalled at this and want a call back tomorrow april 18th to get this rectified. I have also been on hold with the toll free number for 55 minutes.
breakfast egg and sausage sandwich
I was in the Tim Horton's In Sherwood Forest Mall in London, Ontario on Mon. Apr15/19 at 12:30pm.
I ordered the breakfast egg and sausage sandwich and I was told there were no eggs.
This is not the first time this has happened. In the summer of 2018 I was in the airport in Montreal and I was told that there as well.
For a company of this size and especially now that it is advertizing "all day breakfast" I find this unacceptable.
Thank you

rewards card
Hello,
I buy from George Brown college Tim Horton in the college at 200 King Street East.
Why we don't get rewards points, its own by Chartwells.
This is not fair to the students and staff. I buy three coffees a day.
I am entitle to my points.
Please advise.

Since it's opening over two years ago, this Tims has been throwing garbage haphazardly in the back where the drive-thru is located. They don't break the boxes and overstuff the dumpsters. When this happens, bags break and the debris falls onto public property - the bike and walking path behind. There are retirement condos and a daycare attached to this path which is heavily used by children and seniors. During winter and rainy days, you have to be careful not to step on pieces of the cardboard boxes because you can go flying onto your back. Besides being dangerous and an eyesore, this garbage attracts rats and raccoons (which I have seen at night when the restaurant is closed). Because the employees are careless not to lock or close the tops of the dumpsters (which there is a by-law) the neighbors have been dumping their personal garbage into these bins.in your commercials, Tim Hortons comes across as community-minded. I tried talking to the manager but there is a lot of staff turnover - so I think they don't care. Please see photos attached. I have not posted these photos to Facebook hoping that you can resolve this problem before the hotter months when there will be more vermin and bugs around.
classic egg breakfast on muffin/biscuit
Yesterday Sunday April 13th. at about 3:00p.m We decided to try Your All day Breakfast English Muffin with egg, cheeese & sausage & bacon in the foodcourt at Masonville Mall. We always go there to Timmies. Never had a complaint. Are they made with real eggs? They are just round like a patty. They did not look very appetizing but I ate mine anyway. (My...
Read full review of Tim Hortonsmobile app
I used the Tim Horton's mobile app to pay for purchases. My banking information was connected to the app so I may load my Tim's account and then scan my phone at the cash to pay.
There were unauthorized purchases on my account, which I detail below. I stopped using the app and deleted my banking info as I was afraid of the app security. I immdiately contacted Tim Hortons. That was 6 months ago and since then I have been trying to get Tim Hortons to reimburse the missing money and let me access my funds. I have had limited contact from them with no resolution, and just when I think someone might help me they stop answering. On on the whole I am being ignored. This in itself is maddening, but it's especially bad since I am complaining about money being stolen from me.
While the amount of money is small, it's the principal here that counts. They are 100% in the wrong and need to make this right. They have allowed my money to be used by someone else. They won't solve the technical issue that it will let me use my account. They are completely ignoring the concerns of a customer.
These are the details:
Christmas 2017 I received a $25 Tim Card as a gift. I downloaded the mobile app and followed the instructions about how to transfer a Tim Card balance to the app.
I used the "scan to pay" function on the app and loaded my account in $25 increments as needed. The last time I loaded the balance was October 6 2018 and the last time I used it was October 9.
On October 12 2018 the app crashed while I was using it and when I logged back in my balance was $0. I don't know precisely what it was before, but there was money in my account (less than $25). I didn't use the app after October 12th.
I contacted Tim Hortons to try to gain access to the money in my account. In Novemeber I received an email from app support with a screen shot of my account transactions to show me that my balance was indeed $0.
I went on to dispute this. As I looked at the details of my account I realized there had been 5 transactions after I stopped using the app on October 12. I couldn't have spend that money since I had no access to it, the balance showing on my phone remained at $0. I reported this to app support. I thought someone had gained access to my account.
The app support agent then started asking me via email if I had a certain Tim Card. I figured out from this that they were thinking that that when I transferred the $25 card I received at Christmas to the mobile app, it didn't delete the balance on the card, so $25 went into the mobile app but $25 remained on the Tim Card. I think I got rid on the card. I believe I left it in a rental car in the garbage. I'm guessing that someone found it and used it. And it's not my fault that the $25 didn't transfer properly and I should get this money back.
After this Tim Hortons stopped answering me. I have emailed them and created complaint tickets on the app literally dozens of times. I got one response from an email where I was told that my account had $25 in it and I am probably signing in wrong. I responded to that email but didn't hear back.
I resorted to publicly posting on Facebook and Twitter that money had been stolen from me. This is when I actually heard back from them! On twitter we had a few back and forths and now they have stopped writing me. On Facebook, I actually thought they solved the issue, to the point that I received info that there was now $50 in my mobile app account and I should log in using the Facebook method.
After 6 months, I thought it was over. But I still can't access the money even after following their instructions. The app says "Loading..." where the balance should be. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it 4 times. I've written them back on Facebook 10 times in 2 weeks. I've sent 4 notifications to the app and 2 to Twitter.
I've had it! Someone need to step up and solve this.
stock, timbits, etc
I stop at Tim Hortons every day on my way to work M-F at the Birmingham, MI store on Woodward. However, on Saturday and Sunday we go to the Southfield store on 12 mile Rd., Southfield MI. The are constantly out of stock and the service is extremely slow. I waited almost 15 minutes for 2 coffee's and 20 Timbits. I watched 4 cars leave the drive thru line and...

employee at tim
I hate to work in TIM Horton. Worst Work environment ever, it's actually give me a wave of fear for my entire week, days, night. They don't treat you as human, they think you are a machine. If you get hurt they think you are hindering in their business by getting hurt. It's gross. The managers and supervisors are such a creep they always loud while talking to the employee. I feel dead working there. These people are so humiliating and I even get sacred to tell the manager if i got a burn on my hand because her words will be worse than those burn. I feel like they are killing you with words. Already you have give a good customer service which is a big job. I love to serve the customers and listen their issue and handle them with peace and love. You know it takes lot of patience, inspite of motivation these creepy managers and supervisors demoralize you all the time. There is no human resource where i can reach. I have worked in two tim, I hate it. They don't follow any safety guideline. I get hurt everyday due to their poor store condition and what I can't even complain. There is nothing exciting which keep employee motivated. With minimum pay they treat you insane, inhuman. I hate TIM
k cups
I am a Keurig owner and I use the Tim Hortons K-Cups. Recently they have changed the design from the embossed element showing were to pop the top of the cup to clean out the grounds so the cup can be recycled... someone 'brilliant' on your team changed the design so it is on longer OBVIOUS as to what to do to recycle the plastic cup. The tab is gone, the cup is now pure white and their is a ill-formed diagram on the top of the box saying "just peel of the top and recycle"... have any of you IDIOTS in management even tried this? The method does not work - or if it does, it is no longer clear as to how it works AND your corporate pages have no explanation as to HOW to do it now. Nice job.
I want to recycle the cup... your NEW method results in me SPILLING ground all over my kitchen and leaving little bits of dirty mesh in the plastic cup CONTAMINATING my recycling. Well done... give yourself another bonus, you paid lip-service to the environment, likely saved money from the change and don't have to have those unsightly cups in the recycling bin... they can go in the landfill, like all the other crap you do.
coffee
At 10:20pm, I bought me and my friend a coffee, two large double doubles. It tasted like soap to me, I thought I was just me until I asked my friend if his coffee tasted like soap as well, he said it did as well taste like soap. Yesterday, April 6th, I was making an order in the evening. I only had American money, and I asked if they accept American money...
