The oderes are wrong and old slippers were sent this time instead of body butters. The underwear were not shipped and they let the order sit in the snow when multiple times I have told them this area is bad and requested signature confirmation. They used to have quality merchandise when I was a child not it is all garbage and overpriced. The holidays were bad I had purchased many shirts at full price and the people who recieved them as gifts coulod not even exchange them this is not acceptable business practices they fall short k mart has better bras then vs these days its sad but true.
rue 21 would of had faboulous deals victorias secret and the sister company bath and body works are not looking to please customes they want quotas and revenue.
there lipglosses and fragrances are older then my grandparents
victoria secret return policy - privacy violation
Victoria secret has the most invasive store experiences/policy. You are continually harassed for your zip code or email address even after you indicate you don't want to. AND I seriously oppose the return policy that they require an ID proof, even when you have a receipt. This is clearly a violation of my privacy and can lead tol identify theft. I had a huge debate with the clerk that she wouldn't let me return my item, with receipt if I didn't show her my driver's license. I refused to. I WILL BOYCOTT VICOTORIA SECRET from NOW ON AND I SUGGEST YOU DO SO ALSO No other retail chain requires this, if you have your original receipt.

I agree with Here We Go there is some safety behind either protection for you or them either way its your choice to shop there or not they do not force you to shop there. Grow up and stop crying about something that is clearly for security.
ehh boo hoo!
bad customer service, online ordering
I have pictures that are too big to upload here, video, and/or video, in some cases both, of every “incident” of this too-bizarre-to-believe nightmare except for one: what the customer service reps have told me. If those calls are recorded, then there is 100% proof, although I highly doubt they would even give it a second thought. But if I can prove everything else as fact VS, the why lie about the crap service your customer service reps. I do realize my story will sound exaggerated or even fake so if you’d like to see some pics, just email me and my new email addy:
Facts: Ten out of the twenty-two items I ordered, minus one sweater backordered, were lost in shipping (My opinion: items were lost due to a box poorly-taped box, too heavy for the small amount of tape). There was a hole large enough for items to fall out during transport and there was barely any tape left holding the shoddy box together. There are only two strips going across the top of a large, heavy box! I have pics of the box before it ever left the PO. The USPS employee is my witness to how the box arrived and how many items were missing. It was humiliating to be put on the phone with men at three post offices to describe a few missing products. I know the postmaster hated his job on this day. But I had never received a damaged package before so I followed the postmaster’s lead in talking to the other post offices and (although not turned in) I filled out a claim form that was to be turned in 3 days later. By then, the other post offices would have found any items, if they had them. It’s an endearing thought that my postmaster and several people from town, know that I wear the level 5, souped-up, double-padded-triple-uplift Miraculous bra. And one in the new lovely shade called “blue feathers.” It was humiliating!
Anyway, three days later, nothing shows up at the post offices, so I had to call VS to ask a question that needed to be filled out on my claim form. Thank you, God for ending my misery when she told me all missing items would be shipped (except for one pair of jeans now backordered) and she even gave me a $10 gift certificate for enduring the lingerie party at my local post office with strangers. I hate that I need to go there to still ship back 3 pair of jeans that were too big!
Thanks to two-day shipping, I quickly had my replacement order (I have pics of order summary from this order, as well and also my order history from my online VS acct). What were the chances that it was messed up again? Apparently, it was 100% because it was STILL wrong. Again, summing it up, I was sent a worthless, duplicate pair that I’d already received but two were still missing. Also, upon realizing that the jeans that ended up on back order, I needed to call anyway to cancel that order because they would probably be too big, as well. Well, when I called to cancel the back ordered jeans, she said I have nothing backordered. This woman was the most hateful employee I have ever dealt with in my life and she essentially called me a liar regarding these jeans on backorder - she was not gonna hear of a jean refund and she changed the conversation to my sweater. She continued to argue with me over this sweater and then told me it wasn’t even for sale anymore! I look the next day, it was still for sale! I finally put it very bluntly to her told her that I was holding the order summary in my hand, that I could send a copy of to her to prove that it said it was on back order, to be shipped 11/27 and I am either owed the sweater or a refund. So, she sarcastically told me she’d refund my account. I had to do it: I then asked what about the money for the jeans. To top all I’d heard thus far, she told me I was emailed a gift certificate for the refund of the jeans. It was only a $10 gift certificate that VS had emailed me only a week prior, as a supposed apology/sorry for your trouble on the last order! She was not going to bend until I finally sarcastically asked her “Do you mean to tell me that I am only getting a $10 refund for a pair of jeans that I paid $29.50 for?” It FINALLY sunk in this woman’s brain that I can prove everything she is calling me a liar over, and she reluctantly agreed to give me a refund, along with the sweater, back to my debit card; a total of $68.50 and that’s not even counting the panties that were $10 each that I have still never received! I hope your happy Victoria’s Secret management because that hateful woman, and the shoddy service I’d received thus far, finally wore me down! I didn’t even have enough fight left in me to bring then up. That was 3 days ago. Finally today, a credit from VS shows up in my online checking from VS; They have apparently lost their minds because I was only refunded $10.60! What is going on? It’s like that movie Groundhog Day-Victoria’s Secret Style. This craziness just keeps happening!
So, in case you lost track, that’s four items I paid for that I paid for and have never received, totaling $68.50 for the jeans and sweater + $20 for the 2-pair of panties totaling $88.50. Where they came up with the $10.60 refund amount, I have no idea and I doubt they do either. And I even have a pic, showing the refund on my computer screen from my bank! How can I ever explain all this to another customer employee and not have her calling me a liar, as well? Because that hateful woman told me that neither the sweater or the jeans were even on back order- I was a liar! Well guess what VS? I have pics? I guess I’ll need to figure how to email a higher-up and try to explain all this mess and send the pics along with it. Any ideas? I hate that place now. I really, really do. I have never been called a liar anywhere I have done business in my 30-some years!

failure to substantiate charges and correct billing errors/ unwilling and unable to provide any customer service
I decided to get a Victoria's Secret credit card a few months ago and have only used it one time. Right after receiving my first statement in the mail, I sent back a check that paid off this balance entirely. This morning I received a call from an extremely rude and unprofessional employee of World Financial Network Bank, who claimed I owed $25 for a late fee + $35-ish as an additional fine for the original late fee.. These errors total up to about 1/5 of my original payment, and I would have obviously paid a measly $25 fine if I had been in the wrong OR if it had even been on my statement in the first place. Also, I never received anything through the mail or e-mail notifying me of this error THEY had made and expected me to pay for. Not surprisingly, I could hardly understand 4 out of the 6 customer service reps I spoke with. One in particular, "Rob", attempted to give me the run around, but it was blatantly obvious that he had little to no knowledge or understanding of what he was even saying to me. Even funnier was when he told me that he would go ahead and schedule me for an in-store payment (today) so that "my credit wouldn't be damaged for more than 2 years." I know.. I am still laughing at his ignorance. When I asked him for his reference number and for the phone number and ext. I could reach him or one of his coworkers on, he couldn't give it to me, saying my call would be "sent to the rejected box." Right. I told him his inability to establish even the smallest morsel of credibility was making me very uneasy, and then asked if this was really just some some kid prank calling me from a phone booth. His response? ..something along the lines of, "I don't understand, mamn. This call is a real one, I assure you." 3 hours and 4 long phone calls later I've concluded that the intellectual capacity and overall level of customer service exhibited by WFNNB's employees doesn't differ much from Rob. I am canceling my card immediately and they will not be seeing a penny of my money.

shipping
I ordered 4 bathing suits for summer and ended up keeping only one due to personal style preference. As stated on their return policy they do not refund original shipping charges. Had I realized this BEFORE placing the order I would have used a free shipping code rather than a money off offer. After deciding to keep just one of the four bathing suits I now find myself paying $30 for shipping making my bathing suit $97 vs. just $67. Seems pretty expensive... Next time I think I'll go to a store in the mall and avoid all the shipping charges.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
so...7.50 for shipping/handling, per bathing suit..seems average to me...there is hardly anyone that refunds shipping charges...after all, they did pack and ship the item to you...it was your decision to send the suits back, and they wouldn't be in the wrong for charging you a second handling charge because of it...I don't see what the gripe's all about
unpleasant str manager
I've never really had a bad experience at Victoria Secret staff is always pleasant. Back in 2005 I had a tumor removed from my right side below my underarm and was left with a scar that makes it hard for me to find a bra. I've bought seemless bras but haven't found any that are comfy. Anyways about two or so weeks ago I walked into Baybrooks Mall Victoria Secret and was approached my a salesperson who asked if she could help me with anything. I informed her of my problems with bras and she told me she had the perfect bra. At first I hesitated but when I tried on this Incredible bra I was sold and immediately bought some. I was so excited because this bra was not even out as soon as I got home I put it on I told my sisters and mom about and how wonderful it was. I wore it for about two days and then noticed that the seem on the side was coming undone so I decided to take it off I then went on to use the other one that I had bought and had no problems with that one. I then decided to go into Victoria Secret and asked if there was anything that could be done about my bra. I told the cashier the problem and she went ahead and called the manager. I took one look at the manager and saw the way he looked at me I knew there was gonna be a bit of problem. I went ahead and let him know what the problem was with the bra and before I could finish he inturrupted and asked If I was aware of the return policy and that ones something leaves the storeand is worn it's not there problem. I spoke right up and said first of all I understand the return policy but with what I paid for this bra I didn't expect it to start falling apart two days after wearing it. I explained that I had no problems with the other bras just this one he then gave me I dumb look and said that he would let me get another just this one time and if I wanted I could wear around the store and see if that works which is the dumbest thing he could've said. I went ahead and exchanged my bra and left the store so upset I vowed never to return just because of this person.
say bye-bye xl panties and large bras..
I sent this to corporate- I am not expecting to hear anything but it was nice to get it off my chest :D I am extremely disappointed in the Victoria's Secret company. I am 28 years old and have been shopping there for about 9 years now. I buy lotions, perfumes, body sprays, bras, panties, etc. All of this has come to a stop and I will not ever step foot in...

I just had the worst experience in my life.
I am a very good customer of Victoria's secret, the famous underwear and clothing company. I always purchase at least twice a year, even if I do not reside in the US (I live in Australia) I always pay a ridiculous price for shipping... Anyway, I make my purchase a few weeks back in sales! I was so happy I bought for more than 500 dollars, yeah I loved VS... I usually get my parcel about a week after they charge me but this time I keep waiting even if they did not wait two days to charge me ($520 + $20 banking fees)... After three weeks (time expected for deliveries on their website), I decide to ask them what is going on. They reply with a automatic response, that I should wait 5 more days. I wait then I reply that im still waiting. They ask me for one more week. I was really upset, I had been charged a month ago... Still after a month and a week I ask them what is going on, because I paid $70 just for the shipping! scandalous! They reply that BWW or whatever their carrier is, do not provide a tracking number! For the price I pay? Even the smallest local shop in china would charge me $10 for that. They just reply with one of their beloved automatic responses: would you like a refund or would you like a replacement? WHAT? On a friend's advice, I replied that it was not my problem, that we made a legal agreement when I purchased (I lost my time, energy, and money because for a month and a half I could have done with this cash flow) and that I wanted my items because they had charged me! I was waiting for them to fulfil their promise and it wasnt a coincidence I had purchased on sale! I could not get what I want again... The last email they sent me what something like... We are processing your refund please allow a couple of days to see it... I cant believe it
First I had the WORST experience of my life.
Second, I had never been treated so poorly with automatic messages and people ignoring totally my request and the fact that I was saying clearly: I DO NOT want a refund.
Third and I think the worst of all...
I had actually lost money in this terrible situation: The fee my bank charged me to transfer them the money... GONE, no one is going to refund me that, it not much $20, but it just means something to me, as I was disappointed on every level added to the fact that I no underwear, I also had lost money.
I HATE VICTORIA SECRET NOW>
I USED TO BE A VERY GOOD CUSTOMER>
THEY DO CUTE BRAS, BUT REALLY, THEY SHOULD REALISE THAT WE, WE ARE WHAT MAKE THEM.

If a $20 loss and poor customer service is seriously the "worst experience of your life"...you should thank your stars, you've led a pretty charmed life...
That being said, $540 is a lot for underwear, and I agree that you should call them if you want to complain...maybe they'll give you back the bank fee? The whole thing doesn't really seem like as big a deal as you're making it...
Why haven't you tried calling them? I know they have a number that you can call that isn't long distance or what have you.
return
I had my first experience with Victoria's secret two days ago. I have never purchased any bras from your company before and I was excited to finally have a 'great' bra. After picking out two bra's (that were the same brand, size, but different color) I immediately went home and put my brand new VS bra on. It fit like a dream, aside from the loose straps I had my husband tighten for me. As he was tightening them he told me to remove the bra because one strap was being held my a thin piece of fabric. Disappointed, I removed the bra. We examined it and found a very weird long piece of hair inside the cup of the bra... it was far too long to be mine, this grossed me out, completely. I simply said I would take the bra back and exchange it for the exact same one. When I arrived at the VS at the st. claire mall in fairview heights, I told the cashier the problem. She said that is weird... and called over the manager, I presume. This said manager asked me all sorts of questions, explaining my SIZE was probably the reason the bra's strap broke. She said this in front of about 5 people behind me, and my husband. She told me that I should get measured. I said I was fine, knowing that the bra fit perfectly and it was very comfortable in my head. She then said 'well, if you get another bra and the same thing happens you wont be able to return this one. as you can see it was stretched out.' How embarressing is that? I never felt so humiliated and belittled in all my life. My husband knowing I was probably mortified asked if she could explain the odd, very long hair in the bras cup. She asked us like we were idiots if we noticed the hair when we got the bra... Obviously not, since I was more concerned with the size of the bra. I absolutely thought what she did and how she treated this situation was horrible. She had no right to make any comments about my size. I got my new bra and I wore it all day and night to test her theory. The fabric holding the strap didn't stretch one bit, and I honestly wanted to go to that store to show her. I can assure you that my first and last experience with your company was a poor one. You should teach your associates to not act like they are above the customers. I felt like Julia roberts in pretty woman. I know I will never recommend your store to any of my plus-size friends, for they may too get belittled for being bigger.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Seriously. The people working there were trying to get you a bra that would correctly fit you. It is their job and they weren't trying to embarrass you or pick on you just because you are overweight. And the hair? Seriously? Why are you even upset about that?
I think you are projecting your self-awareness onto the store clerk and manager. When she brought up size it was simply because VS staff members are taught that 99% of women are wearing the wrong size and insist they're "trained" bra sizers measure you. You, for some reason, chose to twist that around and make it a fat issue. They recommend getting measure to bird boned girls all the way up to thick women.
Also, Dawniette is right in saying you should try on a bra. I never try on clothes but then I risk not fitting them and not being able to return them, but that's a risk I take. If you choose to do the same than don't complain when you aren't allowed a refund/exchange. Though in this case they didn't even deny you an exchange.
The hair? Really? Hair falls off people's heads all the time. Someone else might have tried it on (like you should have) and it fell in then, they could have been sorting through the bin/rack where the bras were located in and the hair fell onto it then. A stray hair on a garment does not warrent a company complaint.
customer service
Since I could afford to purchase bras from Victoria Secret, I have used this line. My luck with strapless bra has not been very favorable. Due to bilateral shoulder rotator cuff repair, I require strapless bras more than usual. Yesterday, I made time to go to the store in the area to purchase the last strapless bra advertised. It was on a Friday at 7:30 PM, originally I could not find someone to help me. It was busy, I looked around, knew my size, obtained 2 bras. At this time one of the emloyees asked me if I required some help. I answered my previously described story and she proceeded to tell me that I wasn't hand washing the bras. I explained I treat all my bras which are all Victoria Secret in the same way and have no problem with the strapped. I just wanted her opinion on the new or even statistics. This employee was just so rude and treated me as if I didn't know what I was talking about or even making this up. I don't really know what was going on. I proceeded to express my discomfort with the way she treated me and that I would appreciate talking to her suppervisor. She then proseeded to tell me she was the supervisor on that evening. I hve used and will continue to use and to refer people to the product of Victoria Secret; however, I do not appreciate the customer service. Somehting needs to change!

I was a retail manager at all levels for MANY years. Unfortunately, if as a store manager you make someone like the lady/ girl you talked to, a floor supervisor or probably a closing manager in her/ your case, they get on a power trip and like to push what they think is this magical know-it-all power trip onto customers. That is why you had no clue what was going on. It wasn't even about you unfortunately. Even w/ all my years experience I could never figure it out but some are that way. The only way they are going to know she acts that way is to complain higher and higher up the ladder. Let me explain. What you CAN do is find out the name of the actual store manager. If they do not address your complaint, ask for the name of a district manager or a regional manager. All retail stores have one or both. As I recall, VS stores have district managers that oversee all the store managers in their district. You can contact VS home office to be linked to them. Floor supervisors are also often friends w/ their store managers so the store manager may do nothing. Generally store managers fear the regional and district managers as they only come a few times a year and solely to make sure the manager is doing their job, so they become a bit more concerned when you mention the dreaded regional or district manager. Good luck and please complain on up the ladder!
crooks! return rip-off
Never again will I shop vs! My letter to customer service:
Dear customer service,
This letter is to inform you of my complete dissatisfaction of my catalog order with victoria's secret, the rude phone call with jasmine from the bank service that handles victoria's secret credit card services on 5/10/10 (Which I understand is not victoria's secret), however they do business for you, and last but no least the amount I have due from keeping zero items, and how I have to calculate this on my own.
1.) I have shredded my victoria's secret credit card, and will ban all victoria's secret stores and merchandise. I will not be treated as I have been when I spend my money! I will inform all friends and relatives of my horrible experience so they can avoid this entirely.
2.) I recently purchase multiple items (Nearly $500 purchase) and realized once they arrived squished, wrinkled and not as pictured, I returned everything, and was unbelievably disappointed with the quality of fabric, cut, and overall appearance of merchandise received. Overstock.com sends their clothing in a box, on hangers, and it is a pleasure to shop online thru them and as i've found other companies who put more care into their shipping.
3.) your return policy is ludicrous! I understand the $5.99 return fee, but I owe a total of $51.46 for returning everything. For more information on my account see these two order numbers:
Xxxxxxxxxxx $296.86, return order number xxxxxxxxxxx $268.94 amount returned
Xxxxxxxxxxx $133.89, return order number xxxxxxxxxxx $110.35 amount returned
Other companies such as overstock.com do not rip their customers off. They have amazing return rates, and everything ships for $2.95. Never again will I ever be treated the way victoria's secret treats their customers! Shame on victoria's secret!
4.) I called the number on the back of my victoria's secret credit card, and jasmine was incredibly rude! Her tone is with entitlement, rudeness, and no patience for a customer. She asked me to verify my phone number, and when I gave her my home and cell phone number she had no record of either. I have no other numbers to give her and she snapped at me for a phone number. Who the heck is jasmine?! And why is she employed? She has no personal/people skills and should learn to communicate with others before barking at a customer that only wants to verify the complete balance due. She offered to transfer me after I gave her my phone number once again. She was rude when telling me my balance due of $430.75 is late after 5/20/10, I have 10 days to pay it! I am not late and she is treating me like I am late on my payment! Never again. Victoria's secret and it's affiliates have lost my business forever.
When I asked for jasmine's name and if she had a badge number, I told her to transfer me as she said she would, she rudely replied she wouldn't help me with that now since I have so much time on my hands she would give me a phone number to call. I hung up once I heard that, I don't deserve to be spoken to like that. Ever.
5.) I calculated from the amounts returned on my own, because no one had that information on their system. However I received emails from vs with confirmation these amounts were returned.
In conclusion, I am sending the full amount due of $51.46 for which I have nothing material in my hands for. I've shredded my vs credit card, and will never shop vs, or accept a gift from vs again.
Unbelievable. Crooks!
And yes, I have so much time on my hands to let your company know it's non-acceptable practices.
Jennifer howard
No longer a vs shopper
I have spent "thousands" of dollars at VS! Sometimes things are defective or don't it right (every color fits differently, etc), wires poke out, things aren't sown correctly and they need to be returned/exchanged...
Well...that nifty little TRE machine they have to use your license to allow you to return/exchange...they started spitting out warning slips and then a flat out DENIAL slip and the store refused to exchange a bra that was truly defective (no quality control at VS anymore I guess!)
I have been humiliated, insulted, publicly embarrassed, made an ___ out of, and denied a rightful exchange of the exact same item/color/size/price!
I have been shouted at and degraded at a VS Store! I am 60 years old! This is discrimination against a Senior Citizen that has spent had earned money by the thousands!
I actually had an anxiety attack, nausea, shaking and chest pains just from shopping at a VS Store and being treated rudely!
These stores should bow down and treat us like royalty when we spend lots of money during this economy crisis! When the economy collapses totally and NO ONE IS BUYING ANYTHING except food/water and true necessities...and their pockets are "empty" .. then it will be too late!
No longer a VS shopper,
Me neither!
You are so right.
secret reward card promotion
April 1-30 2010 Secret Reward Card promotion at Victoria's Secret--Online
I pooled my Secret Reward Card promotion cards with friends to give to one who is graduating..surprised her daily with e-card attacks! and they cancelled all of the orders (which were placed throughout april, not just towards the end of the program. Would have given them plenty of time to notify US and the recipient. They did neither) and are saying that now that the program is over we can't use them. 1) the card doesn't say "e-gift cards" or "e-cards" aren't valid, it only mentions "gift cards"..we thought, honestly, this was ok since e-cards come with a BIG restriction--can't be used in stores, online ONLY 2) they accepted our orders, just making it reinforce the fact that we thought it was cool and 3) never got word that they would cancel--in fact, she not only received them, but activated all of them! VS went back and took all $270!
What a waste of a)money at the VS stores to get these--really did work as an incentive b) time spent doing this..and talking to them on the phone c)energy.
nothing got resolved. and, to make matters worse--some of us got reward cards that people were not going to use from a website (where she was giving it out to the first person--us)thinking it was ok since they hadn't been used. Wrong. Turns out they had been and it just made things look that much worse for us! It's ok to give your card away, but we didn't realize it would EVEN allow multiple orders with the card to go through, so we thought it would be first-come, first-serve. Every card we had through our purchases were totally valid.
This has been the worst experience and I am totally filing a BBB complaint. Better to have it down than not.
galleria supervisor victor
Just a quick update on one of my previous posts regarding a visual supervisor at Victoria Secret of Houston Galleria by the name of Victor. I feel it's only fair to elaborate my situation further in detail especially after countless warnings from other employees that he's "different".
I no longer work for this great company but still occasionally chat with current workers at the gym or other social gatherings. An overall friendly bunch without drama or personality differences.
But there was a particular character that stood out as a problem to everyone else including myself. To begin, if you ever pondered aimlessly at times till no end about the existence of mass genocides, you'll wonder no more when you come across VICTOR at the Houston Galleria. Believe me, you'll thank him generously for satisfying your inquisitive nature.
He is supposedly the visual supervisor of Victoria Secret at Houston Galleria and a "visual" is somewhat accurate. Let me kindly summarize his physical attributes so other employees or shoppers can stay far away. He dyes his hair completely metallic blue and spikes it up like Sonic the Hedgehog of Sega Genesis. That shade of blue matches his blue eye shadow and mascara quite well. Paired with a lovely set of earrings and sporting black nail polish, this guy will even make RuPaul jealous!
When Victor arrives at "late night" after hours to provide assistance in sizing panties, he shows up drunk or under the influence of something unidentified while completely disregarding our dress code and proudly fashions his best heroin addict look-alike appearance by wearing stained jeans, dirty flip flops and a off colored white tee consisting of yellow residue. Our dress code is all black by the way.
Did I forget to mention he's around 45 years old and has severe acne scarring on his face that puts a blood orange to shame? No wonder he's always consistently caked in make up.
Not polite to judge on looks, correct? Get this. On Christmas Eve on 09, he gives me an attitude and violently goes off on me for not sizing properly on a particular table display. The table appeared as if it was already sized by someone else because it didn't appeared very messy so I made a minor error in judgment by not double checking. Turns out it wasn't sized and I took the heat.
Victor goes, "WERE YOU PROPERLY TRAINED AT ALL? I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW YOU CAN BE HERE EVERY SINGLE NIGHT FOR THE PAST MONTH AND NOT GET THIS RIGHT!"
Damn. Really? I responded by saying not to worry and I'll come back and finish this properly. He goes, "No, I want you to stand right here and watch me DO IT!" I guess being high or stoned prevented him from realizing how close he was to loosing his front teeth.
Please exercise great caution when visiting that store if Victor is nearby. If he was THAT friendly to employees on Christmas Eve, I hate to see how friendly he is to customers throughout the rest of the year.

customer service/credit card
February 3, 2010
In November (2009), I purchased two nightgowns at your store in Eugene, Oregon for $40 with my Victoria’s Secret credit card. The clerk had to call to get my account number so that I could charge the items because I didn’t have my credit card with me.
When I hadn’t received the bill the next month, I called customer service to find out why. The customer service representative wasn’t much help. She stated that my bill came via email. Since I hadn’t received it via email or any other way, I asked her for my account number so that I could pay it on the Victoria’s Secret website. She stated that she couldn’t give me the number over the phone but I could make a payment on the phone for an additional fee of $10. I didn’t want to pay the additional fee, especially because the balance of the account was only $40. Unhappy with the outcome of this conversation, I asked her to have her supervisor contact me. All I needed was an account number or a bill with the account number on it so that I could make my payment. The supervisor never called me.
My life is fairly busy. I’m a full-time student, I work part-time, and I’m a mother of three teens. I forgot about my bill. Last Saturday (January 30), their collections department contacted me by phone to let me know my account was past due. I tried to explain to her what had happened and that I needed my account number to rectify the situation. The only assistance she had to offer me was to charge me additional fees so that I could pay the payment online. I asked to speak with her supervisor in an effort to get this problem resolved but that didn’t do me any good. I tried to explain the situation to the supervisor and she told me she wasn’t going to debate who I spoke with or anything else with me. I asked to speak with her manager and she told me she could not guarantee he would return my call. My response to that was not good. I was livid at this point. You can’t guarantee your manager will return a customer’s call? Are you kidding? She hung up on me.
Because I never received a bill and my account number wasn’t available to me over the phone, I think Victoria’s Secret could have made some kind of effort to help me with this situation without charging me more money (maybe they could have sent me another bill when I called the first time to tell them I hadn’t received one). Instead, I paid their company $82 for a $40 purchase.
My credit history proves that I am a responsible debtor. Before this incident my FICO score was 761. This is because I take my credit score very seriously. Until this, I hadn’t had a late payment in over 10 years.
When I wrote to request they remove the 30 day late mark from my credit report, they DECLINED stating it wasn’t their fault.

return policy
Yesterday, after countless searches for the perfect swimsuit, I setteled on one at VS after being pretty much talked into getting it from the sales rep. She claimed that it was the last one and it was my size since an XS was similar to a 34B and they werent going to be getting any more in so I bought it, not knowing that the top was $42.00 after I checked out. The swimsuit top didnt fit, surprise surprise. And of course I took the tag off since they always put it in an awkward spot in the armpit, making it nearly imposible to try on properly. So I went to return it today and the sales rep wouldn't take it back because the tags werent connected to the swim top! I had the receipt and tags but apparently they need to be connected. Such bull. They wouldnt exchange it or even give me store credit so now im stuck with this worthless $42.00 swim top that doesnt effing fit. THANKS A BUNCH VS, SUCK IT!

I am complaining about the lack of knowledge a manager and associate had at Town East mall in Wichita Ks. I went to the store to return a bra and get a refund. I still had the bra with the tag on, in the original pink striped bag with pink tissue paper, and the receipt. I had changed my mind and wanted cash back. When I purchased the bra I paid with a check. When I went to return the bra the manager girl says her pitch "Can I help you?" I reply "yes, I have a return." "oh, " she says...she can help you, I need to go do something in the back." That right there is poor customer service. Why did she ask me if I needed help then? if she wasn't going to help me. Anyway, I am a patient person, so I said OK and waited for the associate to finish with the customer in front of me. My turn comes, I state my return request and the associate starts the process. Then here comes the bombshell...she says oh you paid with a check I don't know what to do now let me ask the manager. The manager says "hmmm, I'm not sure either, but I'm pretty sure you will have to do a store credit because it was a check." Well, I pointed out that the check was written exactly 12 days ago----plenty of time for the check writing waiting period to pass. I understand companies have a policy to wait Xnumber of days for a check to clear before issuing a cash refund. The manager had NO Clue what she was talking about...when I argued my case about how a check IS like a cash transaction after it has cleared, she says I can't do a cash refund, you wrote a check. I don't even have the capability of giving your check back to you or writing you a check. OMG! AND SHE IS THE STORE MANAGER? Does she even have a high school diploma? I was so mad, and I wished I had more time to prove my case to this ### of a manager, but my son was waiting out in the car--sick. We had just came from the Dr, and I wanted to run into the store quickly to get my refund before returning home. So reluctantly, I took the store credit. As soon as I left the store however, I was on my phone to Victoria Secret headquarters. I was able to reach a smart person who informed me I was correct and the manager of the store was wrong. A check is like CASH once it has cleared and the store manager should have refunded me in cash. The person at the headquarters apologized and I was able to keep the store credit AND get a refund mailed to me. The young girl who calls herself a manager needs to be fired, she had no clue, was rude, and childish. I hope she loses her job and learns the RETURN/REFUND policy next time she takes on a position at ANY STORE.
Also, why wouldn't you check the tag first to see the price?! All of their stuff is pricier than department stores, $42.00 shouldn't be a surprise. And why wouldn't you try it on at the store? Even though the tag was uncomfortable, if it fit that poorly you still should have been able to tell it wasn't going to fit before you took the tags off. I agree with the other poster, you made a mistake and rather than suck it up and remember that lesson for next time, you wanted to find someone else to blame.
I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous! Every store has a return policy, and likely theirs is written right on your receipt. Every store I have ever known requires that the tags be attached to return an item. Otherwise, how do they know you didn't wear it first?
I don't think this is even a remotely unreasonable request. Besides, most stores have a ZERO return policy for bathing suits... PERIOD! Afterall, this is like putting on underwear and then trying to return it. Gross!
Why not fess up to the fact you made a mistake. Instead, try putting it on eBay or something like that to recoup some of your losses. And then realize next time you shouldn't walk out of the store without trying something on first.
victor the
Being a faithful consumer of Victoria's Secret, I felt it was a great place to work over the Christmas Holidays of 09 at the Houston Galleria. To be perfectly honest, this was probably the best place I've ever worked because the employees not only collaborated as co-workers but as close friends. It was a absolute pleasure being selected among such a professional team.
Unfortunately, at the Houston Galleria, there seems to be a pretty big SECRET with the visual supervisor by the name of Victor. I inquired about him once due to his unique appearance and every single employee responds by saying, "Stay away from that guy."
I'll explain why after I provide you a brief description of what this character looks like. First of all, the dress code is all black by the way for both male and female employees. If your disgusted easily, you might want to discontinue reading.
This skinny male around 40 years of age with a horrendous attitude shouldn't be too hard to miss. He is about 5'4 and fashions black nail polish, earrings, eyeshadow, bad acne scars and dyes his spiky hair metallic blue. To make matters worse, Sonic the Hedgehog always comes to work wearing a white T-shirt, dirty blue jeans and flip flop sandals.
When I first laid eyes upon this guy after store hours, I thought some cross-dressing crackhead got himself locked in because we're already closed. Upon discovering that he was the "visual" supervisor, I naturally concluded he was either attending a costume party later or he simply got jumped by a group of drunken clowns who apparently whooped him with their make-up kits.
Let's make this long story short. On Christmas Eve around 11:25pm,
I was working on a table display in the lace area near the front entrance and made a minor error in judgment assuming each article of clothing was already properly sized from largest to smallest. The entire display before I arrived didn't appear very messy so I naturally concluded that the employee working on it earlier had already sized them. I also fanned the panties out because I saw other nearby displays were completed under similar standards.
Victor later paused at the table and demanded who was responsible. I approached him to answer and asked, "Is everything all right?"
He replies, "These panties aren't supposed to be fanned out. Were you properly trained at all?" As he was digging through them to further inspect the quality of my work, he raised his voice with an attitude and said, "These aren't even sized properly! You know what?! I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW YOU CAN BE HERE EVERY SINGLE NIGHT FOR THE PAST MONTH AND NOT GET THIS RIGHT!"
I knew had I not distant myself from his tirade, I was going to retaliate and things would've got ugly. Trying to excuse myself, I said, "I'll come back to this later and take care of it. Don't worry about it."
He then barks back and says, "NO, I want you to stand right THERE and watch me do it. Make sure you get this right."
At that point, something erupted inside of me and I almost allowed my fist to connect with his face. The ONLY thing that held me back was the simple thought of all the friendly staff that granted me this generous opportunity to work over the Christmas Holidays. Their love, support, understanding and professionalism prevented me from going to jail that night. The respect I had for my employers was too much to jeopardize. I couldn't betray their trust over some cartoon character with an attitude.
Had it been Sveta, Michelle, Jessica or any other supervisor, things would never had been blown so out of proportion that nearly escalated into a fight.
If these angels felt that a particular table needs a little more attention, this is precisely how they would've approached me.
"Hey buddy, if you have time, could you please do me a quick favor and double check if this table is properly sized? Thanks." I would've been on that table immediately without hesitation. Problem solved.
Ultimately, there's just a classy way of conducting employees and it just makes me ill to think an incident of this nature could actually occur ON Christmas Eve of all time and places.
As I later shared this story with other employees later that evening, not to my surprise, they all told me to avoid him like the plague. Victor is actually very infamous among the staff and known for his notorious people skills.
So for any consumer who is brave and courageous enough to venture in Victoria's Secret at the Houston Galleria, make sure you avoid this guy at all cost. If you or friends have any questions or concerns about products, seek anyone else to assist you besides Victor.
I'm actually quite intimidated to return as a consumer myself. Hope my story helps. Please be careful!
Greetings Ms. Faint. I'm amazed that I acquired such a quick audience so rapidly. I hope you'll learn to forgive me if I struck a nerve. My favorite part about your response was painfully realizing that you actually reserved enough time to bore yourself reading this entirely and unbelievably proceeded to respond when none of this concerns you whatsoever. How much time exactly did you waste altogether by reading this and writing back? 20 minutes? Half an hour? Jeez, sorry about that. I never once imagined that I would inconveniently consume so much of someone's time. Was it truly worth it?
Excuse me for correcting you but I never mentioned at any point the worst thing in my life was getting yelled at. I honestly can't even begin to fathom how you exactly formulated that brilliant theory but I strongly recommend you start processing your thoughts more carefully prior to speaking. Funny, I thought I was the ###. Remember?
Tell you what Ma'am. I'll just go somewhere quietly and faint. I hope you don't mind.
Wouldn't want to provoke you any further and resend you on another meaningless quest to address the irrelevance of your fun shopping experience on my behalf.
Glad to know with all the economic crisis and the Haiti disaster forums online, you somehow cleverly narrowed down the search to me instead. And to actually receive a calculated response of such formidable IQ leaves me breathless. To what do I owe this honor?
I'm certain your level of brilliance will go unsurpassed for ages to come. Please excuse me for asking so abruptly but are you STILL reading at this point? Seriously? If so, that's twice now you made the same mistake. Going for a third? Need any help?
Why don't we engage in another intellectual exchange as mature adults to permanently resolve this issue? If you'll be so kind as to allow me to initiate. I..like..blue..marbles.
What's that? You like RED marbles?! How dare you?! Genius.
Will glorious wonders like yourself ever cease to amaze me? It pains me to express that you actually amused me for quite some time. Friend, I appreciate your thoughts and thanks for the chuckle.

Good read, but the comments about his appearance were just mean and unnecessary.
My favorite part was how you said "let's make this long story short" and then proceeded to type twice as much as before that.
If the worst thing that's happen to you in your life is some guy yelling at you about fanning panties, consider yourself lucky. And your constant jabs about his sexuality make you look like an ###. I hope *you* are not working there anymore so that I can shop there. Wouldn't want to send you on a rampage to your "angels" if I ask you about a bra without gushing about how wonderful you are first.
poor customer service
My daughter and I bought well over $500.00 worth of bras and lingerie at Victorias Secret just prior to the Christmas Holidays this past 2009 Season. My daughter wore two of her Dream Angel Bras (3x) and the underwire began to protrude through both of her two bras ($48.00. each) I had purchased another type of Bra there at Victoria Secrets (Intimacy Bras). Before I could even wear the bra, the metal clasp on the back broke. I attempted to take the bras back to the store this evening and was told by the sales manager at the store that if the bras were not hand-washed, then they would not be able to help me. Was told that ALL of their bras have to be hand-washed. I told the sales clerk that I never hand washed any of my other Victoria Secret bras and they ignored me and told me they could not help me. I am totally disgusted with this store -- to pay such a premium price for these bras and for them not to last more than 2-3 wearings. I would not suggest spending ANY more money on bras there -- to top that off -- worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life.

bad experience
Those work for victoria's secret online shop are so arrogant and likes to confusing people as every single time i called they with queries they have a different answer to that. and they totally do not care about the customers and enjoys to make us run around, well that is at least my experience with them.
i placed an order with them and there were some misunderstandings abt the billing address, they straight away decided to cancel the order, though everytime i contacted they i got a different answer, one minute they said the order is cancelled the next i have to do this and that to speed up processing my order and then after i make several international calls they decided i hv to contact my credit card company to get the payment approved, and when i called my credit card company they said there is no problems at all, so i contacted VS again, and they told me my order can not be processed anyway and this is all my fault nothing to do with them
anyway, as a indivudual oversea customer i cant do anything against them
and am just shocked is this how americans do business or its just VS does not care about the customers as they are a big brand?

Same story, very bad experience with the costumer service after I spent 1.500$.
they don t care at all if they lose costumers. They always shipped international order with FEDEX wich is fast now they just made an agreement with another carrier that delivery after more then a month! unbelievable and on the phone before approve my order they assured me Fedex was the carrier...
maybe their bras need warranties.
Women flock to this place for the ultimate cleavage and "sales."
I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars here because of one good bra and one decent pair of underwear. I have tons of VS bras and each one has something go wrong. I wear the correct size, I handwash my bras and a $60 bra is an investment as far as I'm concerned.
Underwires have come out at the worst times and made me bleed after less than a dozen times wearing them (pink bra). I just bought the T-shirt bra and after 3 SHORT uses the strap in front ripped. The VS push-up is totally useless to me after 15 wears. The fabric where the straps and clasps are sewn in ripped off completely. The Very Sexy straps come undone constantly and the underwires came out as well. The BioFit has been the only decent bra, but for $50 it should also be perfect. The straps never stay put. So I am out in public and they fall off of my shoulders and I constantly have to fix them. However, the material doesn't snag as much as others and they're cute and comfortable. The way it wraps around in back doesn't make me look like the Michelin man.
I bought a bra that had matching panties and found out the undies were over $17! But they were detailed with flowers sewn on the bra and panties, so I got them because I had a gift card anyway. Immediately after I wore them the thread started coming out and there went the flowers. Now it was just an ugly bra.
The embellishments attached on the bras usually come off within a matter of days from purchase.
Not to mention, everytime I check out I have an issue with the sales people. They ring another more expensive bra for the commission or tell me to get the wrong panties that are on sale. My friend and I split the cost once because they had a BOGO sale and the cashier kept reading the totals wrong (ie. one hundred seventy-five when it was $100.75 - "dollars" and "cents" would've helped a LOT) and it wasn't on any screen. So we politely asked her to check again and she proceeded to treat us like idiots - taking out her calculator and raising her voice.
In my opinion, each bra should come with an OPTIONAL WARRANTY for an additional couple of dollars - amount to be determined by actual price of bra, and then adjusted by the number of complaints on that product! Maybe 10-15% of the price of the bra. I would be willing to pay that, and many of my friends agree!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have been a VS customer for at least 15 years. Their bras went from excellent to cheaply made. Never buy the pink bras, they are guanteed to fall apart within 6 months of light use. I have never had broken wires until the last 18 months. 3 bras so far. Of course it's my fault! Not the quality of the product. Corporate no better! I have been measured and fitted, they still snap. Cheap, cheap cheap! If they keep this up, I will stop buying as well. In fact, I am going to start shopping for a new favorite bra elsewhere. They do not stand behind their bras anymore either. No reciept, too bad, so sad. Oh and have fun matching your reciepts to all those bras...
Who wears a bra to bed?
What things?
I had the same experience. One of my bras ripped in the middle where the cups attach exactly like the one in your first picture. I was afraid to wear it while I was out in public because I was afraid it would snap on me. Well, today I sat up in my bed and it ripped completely in half. I emailed them about it as soon as it happens, and if they don't send me a new one, or at least a good coupon, they will lose a good customer!
I don't think they need to have an optional warranty. I think they need to go back to making the quality products that they used to make. I bought a new BioFit bra on June 16. Yesterday, after gently washing it in a lingerie bag, my new expensive bra was in 2 pieces. Completely ripped in half down the middle between the cups. Now we are not talking a small piece there, it was over 1 inch in length! I will be taking it back with my receipt and demanding them to do something about it. I still have some vintage VS from over 10 years ago in PERFECT condition. Anything I have bought the past few years has been complete garbage...falling apart easily!
I agree their bras ARE over priced & cheaply made, this wasn't always the case. Years ago they were made well & the fit was comfortable to the point you didn't know you were wearing a bra. I'd say until about 8 years ago things changed example:
1) Material now bunches after wash (Body By Victoria) pills up- bra looks old & dirty after 1 to 2nd wash.
2)On others the straps either stretch out too fast or have no adjustment as if all women sized same.
3) The overall fit of bras especially ones with little to no lining.. they're made as if everyone's breast are firm & perky or have implants.
4) The total design/shape of the cups were changed & now un flattering.
5) Underwire poking out extremely painful on fairly newly purchased bras.
6) Triple padding? nothing like mentally screwing w/young girls heads to promote breast implants-bigger isn't always better. ** The miracle bra did the job-why go overboard.
Don't ALWAYS trust their "FITTING ASSOCIATE"- Asked for "Proper"fitting (I always wore/bought 34B no hang over or bulge) It's been awhile & curious to be honest. I was told I was wearing the wrong size all this time & convinced me to change size to 34C, I debated & questioned gapping but gave in & purchased 4 new bras. $270. later & falling out everytime I bent over I never wore them again! I'm sorry but their isn't supposed to be a huge empty gap between you & your bra. She had NO CLUE what she was doing!
When asked sales person about pilling or wire, I get "you must be washing them wrong". All these changes were & are way too much for me where I now very rarely shop in VS & only reason I do is when a gift certificate is given & I pass it down to my daughter. She agrees the quality doesn't match the price, purchases Body by Victoria. She'll buy 4 to 5 bras to rotate thru the week (wears a sports bra 3 days of the week) & 2 months later need all new again they look so worn & cheap. Yes we use a lingerie bag even w/hand wash & Air dry.
* I also owned the leopard neoprene feeling bra above-reversible my [censor]! May of been the very last bra I tried & bought from VS.
I NOW prefer Frederick's online bras vs Victoria's Secret any day!
They Fit! They're Sexy! They're Comfortable as hell! & They LAST! Their online panties are also better!
Some may think Frederick's as too over the top & I agree w/that but ONLY with their clothing line.
Lingerie/Bras/Panties are same styling as VS only more comfortable & made to be worn.
Victoria's Secret will be the next to go under if they continue offering inferior merchandise..It's only a matter of time.
i agree, VS bras are very uncomfortable. i got a gift card for my bday and decided to by the PINK t-shirt bras. (2for32) i tried them on and thought they had a strange cup shape almost like a... cone? but hey its a gift card so why not, its not my money. also within the few minutes i had them on in the dressing room they felt pinchy and the straps were rubbing. i asked for a 38 instead of 36 and was told "there is no way your 38" and they dont even carry a 38 in that bra...why not? big girls need love too! any way, at the last minute i almost backed out and bought some lotions instead and i wish i would have now. the bra is so uncomfortable i almost took it off when i was working the other night...pinching-rubbing-digging, not to mention it looks like a am wearing one of those torpedo shaped bras from the 50's. Just call me "Missle Tits". i dont think i will be buying bras from there anymore-way too price and not worth it.
I think Victoria's Secret bras suck! I have the same bra you've shown in your pics...I bought it in 3 colors! I HATE them...in fact I don't think i've ever had a comfortable bra from VS, I love the idea of a lingerie store and everything but what do you do when the star of the show sucks? I do like their panties though. All the bras with the removable straps suck...the strap comes off half the time...and the underwires OH the underwires...one time I thought I was shot because I was walking in the mall and felt a sudden sharp pain. Their bras are too pricey for the quality...but then again, how do you think they pay all the models...and for all the advertisements and print they send out? We are paying the models and the company so that they can advertise AND send out those nice glossy sales mags...One day I was at J.C Penney when I thought "hey let me try one of these bras" thinking they would be even worse...guess what? I bought 10 bras from J.C Penney that day...I don't pamper them, I throw them in the washer and dryer and they are SO comfortable! They fit me perfectly and they are very pretty...I have all colors of the rainbow...with some crystal accents...the underwires are still intact, even after all the abuse I put the bras through and the padding in the cup area has not dented.
