Problem with extended warranty
1 year ago I bought a boss car stereo. At the time I was talked into buying an amp for it. I also bought the exteded warenty. I was really happy with the sound. My stereo quite working so I brought it in for repair. After 6 weeks I got a message it was ready. I went in to find they had sent me a different one that was twice the size and I couldn't use it. They looked and didnt have anything compairable so they sent me to a different store. At that store I was told there was nothing they could do. So now after driving 2 hrs to get to winnipeg I am left with an unuasble stereo. Another 2 hr drive home and have a $200 paper weight.

I bought a complete audio system for my vehicle including speakers, amplifier, all the wiring and a Pioneer cd player all from visions. Once I had installed the amplifier and all the wiring I opened the box for the CD player to find that the faceplate was missing. I went back to the store I bought it from and they told me that because it have been over 15 days since I bought the unit that there is nothing they could do for me. I was stunned. I will never spend another dime at a visions store again.
Car remote starter
bought a remote starter for my car on boxing day. finally, after 3week i got an appoinment to get it installed. i droped my vehicle for full day and these guys did not check that the work which they did is working or not. when i was their to pick my vehicle waited almost 30 minutes for a guy to show up in his station. after getting my key back the remote starter is not working . moreover, i informed them right way and they said their is problem in my car brakes . recently got my brakes done from a shop shoot them call and booked the appoinment with them and they figure it out that problem is in remote starter not in brakes. rushed back to shop and guy in car audio treated that bad to me that i cant explain . he had no word to appolgy that its there fault and i am running here and there for no reason . told me to wait for another 2 weeks to get it check by thier technician .in last when i fed up with them and told them to that i dnt want your guys service and refund my money he says we cant do that too u .i paid 435 and they returning me only 130

I was lied to by every single person I spoke to regarding a broken item.. I called over and over.. Everyone said we'll take care of it.. When I purchased extended warranty they confirmed it covered all problems even if they were caused by accidents.. My ten year old daughter saved all her money to buy a cheomebook.. The screen lcd broke after 3 months.. Because she touched the touch screen improperly.. Everyone said we'll help you.. No problem.. Yes warranty covers that. But that is a lie.. Now it is new broken and garbage. Warranty guy told me sorry can't do anything.. Also confirmed these break easily.. But i'm so glad I spent another $90 on extra warranty knowing it was for a child. Joke.. 4 workers at the 32 ave location flat out lied. I asked the questions before I purchased.. I thought I had it all covered.. Lies.. Don't trust them..

I called and spoke with assistant manager Daniel asked him about a item and he told me yes they have it and it's regular $50 on sale for $25 so I told him I would be in to get 1. When I arrived Daniel was busy with another customer and was looked after buy another employee who went to Daniel and double checked with him about the item in question Daniel told that employee the item # and that it was in the warehouse. So after calling ahead to check the availability of the item and was told yes they have it and drove 20 across town to arrive and wait probably 15 minutes or more to then be told no we don't have it I left rather upset and don't know if I would shop there again or recommend to anyone else to shop there

Hi, i ordered apple wireless airpods on black friday (4 weeks ago), and when i bought then they said you can place the order right now but it will be available after 1 weeks then we will call you and so you can come to pickup. After i week i again call them they said its still not available call us after 3-4 days. Again, i call they said put call on hold for for a second and i did same but not one reply me back and automatically call disconnect. I call again 4-5 same day and again same thing happen, they always say please hold and then no one answer back and call disconnected automatically. Then i call 6th time and i tell the girl story and she reply me back that i am a cashier so I don't know anything so i said why you put my call on hold everytime, she has no reply and then she cut my call again. Next day, i visited there and they all have no sence how to deal with the customer. Again i tell them the same story what happened to me last day. They did not even say sorry to me also then said we don't know with whom you talk on that day. So your headphone will come text so then we will let you know. I was so angry but i control my myself and said ok. After 1 week I did not get any call back so i call the store again. Same thing, a person said hold for a second and then no one answer after that and the call disconnected. Same thing happen second time. Third time the girl pick my call and again she said hold for a second, i said no and i just want to know the status of my apple airpods. She siad it will come next week. Now its more than a month ago and I did not get my stuff. The staff is really unprofessional then have no sence and also they don't know how to treat the customer. Garbage service, its really disappointing for me and i will never suggest this vision Electronics store anyone to buy stuff from here.
complain about the manager michael walman of the kennedy and 401 store at scarborough
On Thursday night i went to store at 33 William kitchen rd. Scarborough On. to register the order that i make on Sunday on 18/11/2018 the reason why did not close the order the manager said the system is down i do not believe him but he said he will call the next day to close the order 4 days he did not call saying because he is busy after calling the customer service the manager called me back on Thursday he waited me for 20 minutes from 8:30 pm until 8:50 pm he was in the back no one knows where he saved the order so i left on Friday i called many times the customer service they were busy i called online department to make the order on line they said you have to do it in the store because you have credit with Visions Electronics.
so i decide to go to the store in Mississauga where i bought more then 11 thousand dollar the first time even i live cross the street from Kennedy and 401 store. i drove 45 minutes to 1224 Dundas st in Mississauga on. the manager Michael Haynik is very helpful with his employee where you can find :
1- are more knowledgeable with constant training on the newest technologies in the other hand in the 401 and Kennedy store they are not.
2- are more eager to help you with your purchase than hourly employee in the other hand in the 401 and Kennedy store they are not.
3- want you as a long-term repeat customer and will treat you with honest and respect in the other hand in the 401 and Kennedy store they are not.
4- have chosen a career in electronics not just a job and and are far more likely to be here to help you again on your next visit.
5- will give you all the information you need to make an informed decision in the other hand in the 401 and Kennedy store they are not.
6- will ask you questions to ensure that the product that you go home suits your individual needs for today and the future in the other hand in the 401 and Kennedy store they are not.
are rewarded only when you are completely in the other hand in the 401 and Kennedy store they are not.
for that reason i spend around 8.000 dollars in Mississauga store even i drove 45 minutes and the store in Scarborough close to me 5 minutes walking.
hope the managers at Visions Electronics know what is going on at the Kennedy and 401 store and with Michael Walman and his group.

I made some orders on sunday on line from the store vision at kennedy and 401 store at scarborough one employee said the system is down you have to pay in credit card or debit card i explain to him i have credit of 20.000 i already perches some items the day before from mississauga i asked to talk to the manager then he said tomorrow the system will be fixed i will call you monday nor thursday nor wednesday nor thursday the manager or any of the employees call me to set the order.
On thursday i called the complaining department i explain to employee what happened then he said someone will call you soon from the store in 5 minutes someone called saying to come tot he store to set the order i asked to talk to the manager i told him 4 days no one called you told me you will call the next day he said i was busy for that reason i did not call i said i will call the complaining department again then i called saying if the manager for 4 days has no time to call to make the order if i need the manager when something went wrong with the items i bought from him how long it will take to respond back and fix the items if he has no time to call me to make the order then the employee apologized he asked me to go and do the order at night at 8:30 i went to the store the manager saw me then said hello then went to the back of the store for more then 20 minutes never came back no one know the order except him he said he saved it or he did not save it i do not believe him anymore so i left i decided to call the complying department again.
Does the manager has the right do what he did? does he get paid for what he is doing or he works free for visions electronics.
Hope the general manager look at the sale of that store?
extended warranty plan
I bought a Samsung TV back in 2013 for $2200. At the time I was talked in to the extended warranty which ended up costing me $500. The price for the warranty is based on the purchase price of the item so I fit into the $2000-$2499 category, or something like that, which is why it was $500. Fast forward 5 and a bit years and my TV is having issues. A Visions Warranty technician came out and determined the TV needs to be replaced. When I finally talked to Visions, they offered me a replacement TV that has a value of $1100. I wasn't impressed with the offering and they came back with a $1400 TV option but that too was not sufficient in my opinion. Dealing with the Warranty person at Vision's corporate office was futile. He was not pleasant or sympathetic to the situation and was more aggressive trying to get me to accept his offer. I ended up talking to his manager, who was obviously coached by "Jimmy" to tow the line which he has already set out. They are obviously trying to take advantage of consumers and bullying anyone trying to make a claim against their warranty. Maybe they deal with people trying to make false claims against their warranties but they jeopardize previously loyal customers who legitimately just want a proper resolution to a warranty that they paid for.
Had they provided me with an adequate solution to my warranty claim they would have had a new warranty purchased at probably another $500, and a new A/V receiver with warranty. Now, they won't get any more money from me or anyone else I explain my situation to. In a market where literally across the street are BestBuy and Costco, both of which will match or beat the prices of Visions, it is a bad move to alienate customers who would have gladly chosen Visions over those two prior to this situation.
Visions are CROOKS !
Anytime you take anything back for a refund, or for warranty repair or exchange, Visions is going to SCREW YOU OVER ... guaranteed ! It happened to me ...

They don't take no for an answer and are very aggressive and pushy and rude.
I felt extremely uncomfortable being in that store.
I will never go back or recommend Visions to anyone.

i bought a car remote starter 3 weeks ago from visions and and i was booked for installation today Oct 02 at 10 am, so i went there and noticed store was being moved to another location, i asked one of the employee like what was going on, he told me like car installation cant be done today, i was very upset as no one informed me or called me to rescheduled my appt, after that i was talking to another employee, they started saying sorry sorry sorry, i told them i dont want your sorry, you guys did not call me and you made me come all the way in this terrible snow fall (it was the first snow in calgary ), road conditions were too bad, they told me like they did not call me because they did not have my information,
after that he told me like his manager will call me to figure out something, i left store after unhappy, as soon as i reached home i received a call from store manager, (it took 20 minutes for him to call me), he said they can install remote starter and also offer me some additional discounts for inconvenience i had, he told me to go to new location and he will be waiting for me to talk
i went to new location and they started installing remote starter, i did not see manager of course, so i called him back and asked about what he was going to offer (i did not ask for anything, they offered me at first place), now manager's tone, language, attitude was totally changed, he told me liar on my face, he told me like someone tried to contact me the day before to rescheduled my appt but i did not pick up so that s my problem, i replied like i did not get any calls and i can give my call records information but that was useless, he threatened me like be quite or otherwise he will call his mechanic to stop remote starter installation, give me refund and kick me out of the store, i was very scared, i had no other choice but remained quite, i told him like he cant talk to me like that and warned him to complain higher authorities, he told me i m the boss, no one above me, and even if i try to contact store owner, he will never pick up my phone
i left store and decided not to go back to any visions in my life

Bought 2 laptops with their extended warranty. One had problems with screen and hardrive. Brought it in for service. After 5 weeks and 5 different stories of what they are working on and repairs, now saying they haven't started working on it as they can't find the problem. Despite showing store staff the problem and they documented issues and sent it in.
Will never buy from them again and I recommend you stay away.

my request for the complaint is for company to adjust my warranty date starting from july 5 2018 for the un-reasonable loss of use of the new machine for over a month

I recently purchased a Motorola Moto Z - 32GB ^ - Unlocked - Black with Lunar Grey Trim (01074NACRTL) from Visions Electronics. It arrived defective. They don't offer a refund, exchange or anything. I got such an awful attitude from the customer service representative I was dealing with. I truly feel robbed. I am now stuck with a phone that doesn't work, and I'm out $ 450. This company has zero integrity.
amp for sub system
Date if incident: Feb 28th 2018
I was given an audio system for Christmas in 2016 by my husband. There is a one year manufacturer warranty on the sub system as I was told when I went into visions on February 28th 2018.
The sub hasn't worked since November 2017. I realize I am out of the one year warranty by almost three months by submitting my claim now but, unfortunately, I do work a busy work schedule (shift work), cannot leave my vehicle at visions just anytime as I rely on it heavily, and could not get into speak to someone until now due to personal circumstances.
When I did go into speak with someone regarding the sub system on Tuesday the 26th at around 4-4:30ish, I was told to come back the day after because the technician wasn't in until 6pm that night and I could not wait, as I live 25 minutes out of town and had prior engagements to tend to. I came back the next day, and again, told to come back at 4pm that day, as the tech was busy until then(I ended up getting a flat tire and didn't arrive till about 5pm instead). When I arrived at 5pm I did state that if 5pm was an inconvenience then I'd be happy to book a time slot to come in for, but they said they still had time to look at it.
When the tech had looked at the amp, he said that it was the problem as to why my sub isnt working. The woman at he counter told me it was a refurbished unit and was no longer available. I immediately called my husband and told him the situation to see if he'd like to proceed. My husband stated to me that at the time of purchase, he was not told that it was a manufacturer refurbished unit and would not have bought this if he had known it. The woman at the counter argued with me that there was no possible way that the employee who sold the unit to my husband wouldn't have told this information or had offered an extended warranty, as the employee has the highest sales rate in the department (basically insinuating my husband was lying). I have worked in customer service my whole life, and to me, calling the customer a liar is one the worst things you can do with customer relations. Not only that, but instead of potentially honoring the manufacturer warranty because the sub system hasn't worked since November 2017, which would have fallen within the year manufacturer warranty, they tried to sell me $399 new amp plus installation cost.
I do not know much about subsystems, but what I do know is this: I am running one sub off the amp. That's it! not multiple items off of the amp, just one sub. There is no reason why an amp running a single sub should stop working in under one year. Terrible product in my opinion.
So with this being said, I have a few reasons why I am submitting this complaint: By insinuating my husband was lying, by arguing with me at the counter and by not even trying to honour the manufacturer "refurbished" warranty item (that we weren't told was refurbished in the first place), I have been soured to even purchase anything from visions electronics again.
My husband and I were looking to purchase almost $6000.00 worth of surround sound and television equipment in the next few months, but will not even think about returning to visions electronics again. I would rather drive to Edmonton to a more reputable company than spend or take the time to even go back to visions in Grande Prairie due to this incident.
At this point, I'm not even sure what you can do for me.

they have refused me any support for my product
This is Ron Baker I put a lot of money into my truck therefore I put an alarm system which I purchased from Visions Electronics in Winnipeg on Pembina which I then bought a 3-year extended warranty and they refuse to do any support for my warranty unless I put money on the table makes the warranty useless it's a two-way Viper Alarm 5620 I think it's on my record up purchasing under my phone number [protected] and it has a famous problem for this type of alarm where the door unlock shorts out to ground I have gone over my wire I am an electrician and I paid a third party to go over my wire and they want me to pay him to go over my wire again and whether it's the product or my wiring fault I still lose out on money now with the money I put on my warranty which I'm not getting and the money to pay him for an hour or two in the shop and my time easily be able to install one for cheaper and for this no customer service I think you're losing my business and I got a complete over 5000 Watts 3 amplifiers kicker and Alpine stereo system in my truck that I have purchased here I feel like I should get some better service thanks for reading this have a nice day my email is Ron.Baker.[protected]@gmail.com

Hi there, my name is Jared Maes and I have spent over 10 thousand dollars at visions st James . I bought an 80" 4 years ago and when it was damaged I bought another 75" through the same store. I am not the kind of person to complain but what I just experienced cannot be ignored. There was a number of inconsistencies over the last couple weeks between what Ray of the st James store promised and what I got. It seems that they just see dollar signs and once the deal is done they do not give a rats [censor] about service. I was originally impressed with visions because although you didn't have to you gave me my warranty rebate. Despite much confusion between the store, myself and the insurance company I overlooked it due to the kindness of the rebate, which I appreciated. It did seem like that store didn't really care about me as a customer. The last straw was the piss poor job the installers did. They were in and out in about ten minutes, and my tv is visually crooked. My window was open so I heard them complaining about not having my mounts from my 80". I didn't want to tell them to straighten it because they were so rude I just wanted them out of my house. I have never experienced as poor service as this in my life. I will never spend another dime at visions!
I apologize for my negativity but I am very unhappy and wish I could spread this information to all so they don't have to go through the same. I let a lot go and never would want to get someone in trouble but this was outrageous. Thanks for your time,

This person Michelle in payroll should be fired for not returning calls.
This is the last contact we will have with your company until a solicitor gets involved.
People need to be paid their wage its the law!
lg 55" oled 4k tv
I have been having an ongoing issue with my $4500 LG 55" 4K OLED TV, where I see random dark "blobs" on my screen, more noticeable with a white background. The first repair company that came was useless, but the 2nd was excellent and knowledgeable. He came by and replaced my panel and the motherboard, but unfortunately the problem still exists. He then came and took my TV (this was 2 weeks ago), and said it will need to be replaced. Fair enough.
Now, 2 weeks later, still no word from Visions and they do not want to replace my TV (even though it is very evident that it has issues). I purchased the extended warranty for a reason, I expect them to replace it if it cannot be fixed. I have called numerous times and keep getting the run around. The fact that they haven't even cared about their consumer is very unprofessional and quite frankly unacceptable. $4500 tv! I work in an industry where i install internet and cable for thousands of people, and they always ask me for suggestions on where to buy electronics. Best they solve this problem or else it will cost much more than a new TV if these people are directed by me to go anywhere but Visions for their electronic needs. Not a threat, the truth.
They are replacing my tv.
