I am just planning to buy a tv the suddenly they offered me a great deal, then we refused to get it, the manager told us that we will apply for financing and the they will give us 30 days to decide if we will get the tv or not, and that we can cancel it anytime we want on that 30 days. Then we decided not to buy but the thing there is that the manager is telling us that we will be charge of $21 for applying the financing, the thing there is that they did not tell that that to us. On last Friday, I accompanied my friend who is a Syrian refugee recently arrived to Canada and doesn't speak, read or understand English, to your store located in Saint James area of Winnipeg Manitoba, to return a cellophane that he bought from that store on the previous day, Thursday April 28. We went there and we met the salesperson who is at the same time the store manager. Once he saw us he was happy about that and when I told him that my friend wanted to return or cancel the service he said 'ooooof' followed by a saying 'nnnoooo' and then he checked the phone and said the federal law said no return if the phone is used for 30minutes or 30 mb. Which is not true it is 50mb. My friend is not satisfied with the phone because it is not in his language:Arabic. The first day, he asked for the one on which we can put his native language and the manager used the data to install Google translate and this is why the 30mb was used. We treated in a way that we feel that we are not welcome and we were given orders as if we are the slaves not customers. We were very angry and frustrated by the way we were treated. I told him that this can't be set in Arabic, even that he tried for more than three hours to set this language on phone. He was so rod to us. My friend does not like the phone. I purchased a new TV wall mount cables and installation from Visions on Christmas Eve 2016 totalling a little over $1700.I expressed to the salesman my concerns that boxing day prices may be better than the price i was paying on Dec 24th.His response was no problem Visions has a 30 day price guarantee.Based on that information I made the purchase and booked installation.It was a busy season so did not get around to checking price changes till the first week in January.
I found the TV was $1074 instead of $1199 so called visions Victoria.I spent around 20 minutes on the phone with a sales rep he informed me the same TV was on for $999 and I would be receiving a refund for the difference and he would file the paperwork not to worry.
I was so delighted all my speakers were 30 years old so I started the process of replacing the speakers for the surround system my first purchase was a $400 subwoofer. Then happily went on researching what speakers would replace the front channel of my system.I decided on the Kef LS50
Waited six weeks no refund called visions and was told it was a busy season the refunds were taking awhile.Waited four more weeks called again was told someone was handling my file be patient.
March 15th I received a letter stating discontinued items or a final clearance item doesn’t qualify for price guarantees. The first time in all the conversations I heard that, I am very disappointed in Visions I thought I had found my go to for electronics.
This year I need a new laptop a stereo for my work truck and Five more speakers I think it was a short sighted decision as I would have been a loyal customer if they were trustworthy.
Bottom Line DONT SHOP AT VISIONS their price guarantee has NO VALUE
60' tv with outdoor case for business
Spent $6000.00 plus to Vision Grand Prairie, we bought 3 55' LG 4K TV and 1 60' SHARP 4K TV, outdoor tv shield for 60' tv and 4 brackets. Told Manny( sales asociate) about my plan-- we're putting a new resto business at Grimshaw, Alberta and I need 3 tvs inside signage and 1 outdoor signage
My 1st issue was when following up that outdoor tv shield. 1st try no luck said that Manny was busy leave my number to call me back. Waited the whole day till 8pm but didn't hear anything from them. 2nd try hold for 30 mins.
2nd issue was about the brackets, paid it 100 each but that time princess auto selling a bracket for only 75 full motion and mine was full tilt only. My business co owner went there to pickup tv shield and explained about the brackets, lots of arguments but in the end it was settled. They said they will sending a cheque to me w/c I didn't receive till now.
3rd issue was the outdoor tv shield, fan wasn't work and the picture was too dark outdoor signage. Tried all settings, adjusted brightness to max but still the same. Don't know if its the tv or the TV shield
I'm really frustrasted on my experience and my expectation about results of my outdoor signage. I relied on their advised that it will good on outdoor. It's not an easy installation to remove and send it back to the store( 8' from the floor).

I bought a refurbished laptop and when it arrived, it could not even boot up, not even through win 10 recovery option.
I called to have it sent back and return my money. No refunds they said, because I opened the box it came in! Nowhere does it say on their website "no refunds"!
They said they would email me a can post pre-paid shipping label to return the product and then they would send me another refurbished computer, but no refund.

I never heard of such a thing. It was my first experience buying anything refurbished and I will never again!

I have been a loyal customer of vision electronics. To name a few TV which cost me 4000, sound system for my car cost me around 2000 and many more . Recently I bought a MSI laptop( Dec 2nd week ) which comes with a hard case backpack. At that time there was no stock of the said bag but tolD me to come back after 2 weeks. We came back and told us to come back after a week again. We came back and told us to pick it up at Burnaby vision. We got there and the manager told us there was nothing available. Vision at marine drive has wasted our time and is costing you our loyalty to be deleted. Dec 2016 time we bought our laptop and it's now 2017 Jan 2nd week. A bag sir a bag sir and incompetent staff is costing you money. We.. me and my family friends and Co workers would surely be staying away from Vision and would even campaign to boycott to patronize your store if this issue isnt resolve by this week.

Great, may I suggest the bbb the name is VISIONS ELECTRONICS LTD.( HO) After they sold a boxing day special right from under me to a man that made a deal the week before with staff. They put his gift card thru for the only computer left in the store when I was just about to put my card in the atm machine. They said they would order me one in. Sat. after inquiring they told me it was in Edmonton and would be here this week. It arrived on Monday. They said another customer came in asking about his order and they gave him mine. Mine with my name right on it. They said they would reorder from the manufacturer for me so another 4 plus weeks. Then I thought well if they gave mine to this guy where is his order. Why didn't they offer me his order when it comes in. I'm sure someone decided to make a quick sale with my computer. My writing campaign starts on Wed. Social media with hastags, bbb, and other consumer groups. I've had lots of luck in the past with the bbb. Home Depot busted 4 door orders in a row. To get another door is a new order so I ordered a new door every month for 5 months. Thru the canadian bbb all complaints go to their head office in the states and they contact you right away. After months of fooling around with Home Depot up here I got results.

Incredibly poor customer service. Purchased a omnimount re27 rack that clearly said (And still says) free shipping and paid for it ($700.00+). I even spoke to a sales person before I ordered who told me the best way was to order online for fastest delivery. I called 4 times over a week for tracking. On day 8 (Me calling them) they tell me shipping is + $200.00. They fall back on some small print in their faq that I was supposed to know about that free shipping only applies if its less than 10% of the item total, but clearly says even to this day free shipping for the item. They did not stand behind their own web sales advertising, the delay cost me a sale (I am an installer). The web support person was rude. I did get a full refund. I even spoke to a sales person before I ordered.

My faceplate of the deck was not lighting up, so I ejected the deck and put it back in the main box, only one side was attaching and the other side was not.
I go in to visions and the car mechanic took the whole thing out of my truck and told me they were going to send it out for service, and if it can't be fixed then I will be getting a new deck as I have bought two years warranty.
A couple weeks have passed and no one has called me what was going on with the deck, I called them and they told me I have to go to the store to pick it up, I get to the store and Thomas Westbrook, Car Audio Manager, told me that they can't be a third party through this warranty, they gave me a piece of paper saying that I have to call Sony myself.
I talked to a Sony rep and they keep informing me that their policies for warranties is only one year, and since I bought TWO years extended warranty, if it's passed the one year mark the extended warranty is through visions and they have to fix it.
I called visions and told them what song said and i emailed all the conversation I had with Sony to the store manager at visions, I talked to them yesterday and they asked me what happened to the deck again, Tom told me that they will not fix it and I quote " it could be you that punched the deck in, but I have a newer and better deck I can sell you for dirt cheap" . I told him no and I want to see documentation on the reason why they won't acknowledged my two year warranty.
Today I got an email from Tom and he told me the same thing stating the documentation is on the back of the receipt . Even though I bought two years warranty they will not fix it.
try filing a complaint thru the bbb these guys have a A plus rating that needs tarnishing.
samsung digital camera
We purchased a Samsung digital camera from the Visions location on Millstream Rd. in Langford B.C., a little over a year ago. At the time we purchased the extended warranty to hopefully cover us for 4 years from date of purchase.
In the time since the initial purchase we have had 2 problems with the camera. The first was a sticky opening on the lens which ruined many of our son's wedding photos. In this case, Visions said they wouldn't do anything until we had the camera for a year and that I would have to contact Samsung myself. After giving me the wrong number to call I finally got a hold of the Samsung repair depot and a person I could barely understand directed me where to send the item for repair. A month later I got my camera back.
The second incident with the camera involved the pop-up flash popping out of its compartment within the camera. I took the camera back to Visions and they sent it away for repair under my extended warranty. Two weeks later, I got a phone call telling me that the repair was declined because of "PHYSICAL ABUSE" on my part. After a heated discussion with a manager (Chris) at Visions' Langford location, I was told once again that I had abused the camera. This was absolutely not true. When I told this very arrogant manager that I they (Visions) did not stand by their warranty and that I would never be doing business with Visions again. he said he "LOVED" hearing that from his customers and I was to have a NICE DAY! I was totally shocked and e-mails to head office have as yet had no response. SO BUYER BEWARE! Do not expect ANY after sales support if you purchase anything at VISIONS ELECTRONICS.
jabra storm bluetooth headset
I purchased the Jabra Storm Bluetooth Headset on Boxing Day as a gift. The seal was broken to be able to look at the headset without taking out of the box. I called Visions to see if I could return and I was told absolutely NO. They apparently like to take your money and provide no customer service. I would suggest you buy these items at other retailers that will provide the customer service in order to keep you as a customer.

To: vision electronics customer service from: mansur mashanlo dear customer service manager I mansur mashanlo the customer of your store (1970 oxford connector, port coquitlam, bc v3b 4h3) , made a purchase of two laptops on september 25th, 2015. The first laptop was a 15-f110ca hp 15.6 “n2840, 8gb, 500gb” for 430$ the second laptop was an acer 11.6 “n2930, 4gb, 500g, touch” also for the price of 430$. The exactly same acer laptop is currently being sold at other stores including the source, acer company, best buy are all sold under 400$. Bestbuy beats that price by 100$ selling the laptop at 299$. Recently I found out that the laptops that I bought from yevgeniy borysenko the sale employee at your store were upsold and misrepresented to me as well as I became the victim of disinformation. The representative of your store, yevgeniy, told me that the given laptops that I purchased were on their final sale (Store had a big sale week) and that he was able to provide me with even bigger discount if I bought them from him. Yevgeniy, informed me that those laptops were on their final sale and that I wasn’t able to return them after I made a payment which is also a lie. I also remember that he tried to rush the transaction so that I won’t be asking any more questions. I want to know the actual price of these laptops that were sold to me at the time of that big sale of september 25th because I believe that it must have been lower. I am trying to solve this problem but I am afraid that other consumers such as I and especially the elderly might fall the victim of such an act committed by your employees. Overall, I feel very upset by the work ethics and low standards of your employee because he lied to me on multiple counts, first he told me that the price of these laptops at the time were around 500-600$ on average, second he lied to me that I won’t be able to return them (Ever) , third I feel cheated and it is a possibility that he upsold me those goods just to get a higher commission which I find unacceptable. . I have received the worst customer services in my life from vision electronics. Here is my story:
My 9 year old wanted to play jurassic world and saved up to buy a tablet which will run jurassic world. On september 6, visions-pg sales executive, david kirk, have lied to us and made us buy a tablet which is not compatible in running the game (Ofcourse we didn’t know that at the time of purchase). When returned to the store on september 9th, another sales executive, evans, gave us misinformation and asked us to wait to exchange the product. On september 13, erin moffat provided the worst service I have ever received. She was rude, uneducated about the product and showed no concern to solve my situation. She did not apologies for the false information provided by her staff and herself and inconvenience caused by unprofessional behaviors and refused to exchange the tablet for another tablet that will run the game. So, now my 9 year old is without his money and stuck with an ipad that would not run jurassic world.
Below is the details account of the event
September 6:
• i visited your vision store in pg (6333 southridge ave #142, prince george, bc v2n 6z4). A gentleman named david kirk helped me.
• i told him that the only requirements I have that the tablet has to run jurassic world game. I would go for the cheapest tablet that would run the jurassic world game.
• so, david suggested that I go with asus transformer pad. He confirmed me that it will run on the asus tablet after checking on the demo model.
• during the payment, he informs me that it will be a final sale because the product requires activation with email account. I asked him what if it does not run jurassic world and he confirmed me that the tablet will run jurrasic world and bring it back to the store if it doesn't. So, I trusted him and signed the final sale.
September 9:
• unfirunately, the game didn't run on the tablet, so I bring it back to the store.
• a gentle man named evan helped me at that time. He informed me that the game may have some new updates/patches and I should give it few more days to run on asus tablet.
• in store, we tried the game on samsung tablet and it worked fine. So, I wanted to do the exchange and he says that we can do the exchange.
• as we are about to do the exchange, we found out that I left the charger at home. So, he suggested that I keep the tablet for couple of days and try uninstalling and installing the game few times and see if it works. Anyway, I have 30 days to exchange. So, I left.
September 13:
After trying to install and uninstall the software for few times in the last few days, I take it to the store today for an exchange.
1st visit to vision store:
• upon entering the store, erin moffat, gm came forward to assist me. I have told her the whole story.
• even before making any attempt to resolve my issues, she started telling me that it is a final sale and no return and exchange is possible because it is activated with my email account. I was astonished at her attitude. My purpose is to find a solution that my little boy can play the jurassic world game not to gain profit in making return or exchange.
• then after looking at the tablet, she came to the conclusion that it is not running because the android needs updating. I wanted to do the updates at the store and they say their wi fi is down. I said I am not leaving until their wifi is available and I was informed that it will be down for the rest of the day (Little difficult to believe)
• so I left
2nd visit to vision store:
• i went to starbucks and perform the updates and jurassic world still did not run.
• so, I returned to the store after 30 minutes
• this time, erin moffat tells me that I probably didn’t do the updates probably and that’s why it is not running on the tablet. I showed her that updates are done appropriately. So, erin suggested I contact asus tech support
• i got a sense that they do not have a clue about the problem at hand. Using my six sigma knowledge, I have tried doing root cause analysis. After few questions, I have been able to find out the game is not running because it requires android 5 and the tablet is on 4.4. Once I figured it out, they quickly pretended that they know this is the problem from the beginning and asked me to go home and do more updates to reach the android 5 (Because their wifi is down)
Trip to best buy
• at this point I got a sense that they are not dealing with me honestly
• so, I took the product to best buy and spend an hour with their geek squad team. The team helped me identify the true root cause of the problem and spend an hour with me and didn’t charge a penny
• so, the real problem is jurassic world will not run on asus transformer pad because it requires android 5 or higher and asus doesn’t have any updates for android 5. So, given the current situation jurassic world will not run on asus transformer pad.
3rd trip to vision
• i returned to the store for the third time and explain everything to erin moffat
• to my dismay, without taking the responsibility that they sold the product to me with false promise and their lack of knowledge of the product and lack of concern for my situation, she refused to exchange the product. During the first trip, they pointed out that the product can not returned because it is activated with my email address. Best buy geek squad have helped me to remove my email address from the product. Still she would not let me exchange it.
So, now my 9 year old is without his money and stuck with an ipad that would not run jurassic world.

Visions electronics is misleading the customers. they have mention on their website price match plus 15% price beat guarantee. when I took the written quote from London drugs a LG UHD TV they simply refuse and get rude to me. when I insisted and asked about price beat mentioned on their website. there store manager said we can not match. you go and do whatever you want to. they are totally fraud and misleading the customers.

Visions electronics in Grande prairie is one of the worst managed stores in town. They have unqualified people in management, sales as well as their installation bay! From piss poor customer service, to the ignorant way they treat their staff, it's no surprise they have yet to be in the news with plenty of law suits.
Their knowledge of the product is solely learnt from the INTERNET**WHILE AT WORK! They have no knowledge prior to being hired, and customers are usually lied to about the product in the first place. You walk into Grande prairie visions, and asking them about a car starter, the salesmen barely have any knowledge about it besides the Same paper information that the customer themselves are reading! Lol
As far as their 12volt installers go...LESS THAN 20% COMPANY WIDE HAVE THE TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO PERFORM ANY INSTALLATIONS ON CUSTOMERS VEHICLES.! IF YOU ASK FOR ANY TRAINING DOCUMENTATION FROM THEIR INSTALLERS; YOU WILL NOTICE THERE ARE NONE!
I have personal issues with them as an employer, But everything I've mentioned is set in stone! To have **PROFESSIONALS** working on your vehicles, you are better off letting a high school mechanic shop kid do the work. I've trained some of their newer hired installers, and. ALL I CAN CAN SAY IS... WOW!
And to top it all off for all you reading this note: the minute you have a problem, or complaint and you go in to tell them, the minute you leave... they start talking you down, and make fun of you behind your backs! And That's from management down to sales people!

Deck was missing faceplate. I was told to call the manufacture to get one. I said screw you have it back. They said they cant its open. Called 3 stores got the same crap. This was a xmass gift. Open all of your boxes before you leave the store. Its all about the sale then your on your own. Visions are all about the sale. Afterwards you suck unless you come in the store with a fist full of $$$ for some other unrelated purchase. Don't even phone their as the sales rep on the floor cant take your call as he is far too busy making commission on some other sucker.

Don’t trust to the scammers from the company Level Vision Electronics. The company offered me to buy some stuff, but it turned out that they wanted to get only my money. They didn’t have the offered stuff and it was total rip off. I can’t get money from these jerks and have no idea what to do now. I wonder if there are people, who faced the same problem? I dealt with vision to get a TV financed through them it took four and a half hours and by the time they were done they still had made mistakes that they did not tell me about until month after the fact and I called wondering why payment had not came out and why I hadn't receive any paperwork. It took them days to get back to me and I had to call them back before I got an answer. I posted on Facebook on their page and have called head office plus called the store to talk to a manager and no one seems to care. No one returns phone calls on the way I was treated. They even threaten to call the cops on me if I didn't bring the paperwork right away when I didn't make the mistake. Why doesn't anyone care about how they treated me. I called head office Jeff Norris was supposed to call me back but he has never called even the store email him too. But the store Manager I very rude too and I am not sure if I believe anything from the store manager. Very unhappy customer and if I could I would return my product I think at this point. I purchased a product from Visions Electronics and took it back to get my refund as I was not happy with my purchase. It was the 9th day of their 10 day return policy.
I went in and every guy in the store comes to the front to intimidate me and convince me that I cannot return the item as it was opened (no c*** buddy, I had to try it out) and that there was nothing wrong with it.
Fighting tooth and nail, the jerk(s) would not take it back saying they cannot. So, I just took it back and was peed off. So, I made the complaint know to their head office and they did not really give a c*** and said "what do you want us to do"? Well now it's too late the 10 days are gone, so I complained on a site just like this one, and after a year they still wanted to talk. I said piss off pretty much, that I will never ever shop there again and will tell others of the BS the way ALL staff treated us and actually belittled us and not abiding by their own policy...10 day return.
Here I find out the flaw with this Visions company, they pay commissions, the ultimate destroyer among staff (competition) and with patrons, lie to keep their profits, this is a given as the old Classic style of running a business, this style will cause so many dissatisfied customers that it will cause them to spiral down the toilet one day.
I now shop at Best Buy and never looked at Visions again. This is the Lethbridge location and they called me a year later saying they were under new management...yeah, better start hiring the talent then, people that give a ### and put the customer first, because without the customer, they paying customer, they cannot ...well make that extra profit.
I have spent hundreds at Best Buy since and I wanted to share my history with these A-holes, the guy that refused my return, he will have to deal with his attitude if he wants to not be in these situations any more. As for me, I would have went back and bought again, but the way this 'crew' treated us, no f'in way, they are the ones who do not realize that repeat customers are they pay cheques, what comes around goes around or you might say...live life with balance, keep it simple...be nice, it's like paying it forward...it make you feel good and the person you just paid for! How nice that would be more often, does it have to be so tough out there?!
Salesperson at Rochdale Branch are so rude and arrogant. Hangs-up the phone and make you feel that you are insignificant..
