restroom availability and store manager rudeness
I asked the pharmacy attendant to give me access to the restrooms and she said they were out of service. I asked her why and she answered I needed to talk to the manager. I looked for the manager and after walking around looking for him he finally appears. I told him I needed to use the bathroom and first Mr. Samuel Figueroa (Store Manager Loiza street, Santurce) was willing to give me access. On the way to the bathroom I told him they should not close the restrooms to customers because there are older people here that could not be walking around looking for him. This being said he turn around and told me in a rude way if I wanted him to open the bathroom for me. I said yes that's why I was walking with him towards the restrooms and asked him if he was denying me access to the area, but he just kept repeating the same phrase. I decided to leave the store because things were getting out of hand. I am a Walgreens customer for many years and my purchases could be verified with my phone number. I've never experienced such a humiliating situation before in any Walgreens or any other place just cause I wanted to use their bathroom. In PR the law requires commercial establishment to have access to restroooms at all time and access was denied since Mr. Figueroa was willing to give me access at the beggining but denied yo me later on. Me or my family would never visit this Walgreens again even when I live 3 minutes from it. I rather use another pharmacy. This type of behavior specially from a store manager ruins business.
asheville hwy - walgreens
I was at walgreens last night 9:59 pm. the store is so hot. i have complained and written and ask why does corporate operator the temperature when they are not in the state. of course that is not going to go anywhere. i have ask management to contact and let them no it is over 75 degrees in the city and the heat is blowing. customers complain so much and i wonder if this asheville hwy store was located in a better neighborhood would it make a difference. i think it would. I have had people tell me that the walgreens stores in other areas are low in theft and the store is very good to work in. last night there were two female employees working and a theft in progress with a very large man. both could have been hurt. he grabbed the one bag and ran out and then turned around and came back in the store to grab the carton of cigarettes from the register operator. the other female was standing at the door ready to close it. she did not try and stop it because the man is very large. he could have hurt the two female employees. the theft is so bad that customers have said that the saying is " if you want something for free you can walk in walgreens and just take it". i had no idea it was that bad. there is no security or anyone able to stop this. there are older people working and the cut backs are so bad that employee's don't get breaks or lunch sometimes. i know for a fact that is illegal but the state of tennessee, the city of knoxville can get away with that. poor poverty, low income and full of drugs and alcohol. there was an incident where a female was being stalked and called on the phone. i to get the criminal phone calls that will put you right in the middle of horror " when a stranger calls" (1979).
over the holidays the store is open until mid-night. i could not believe it when i saw what was coming in the store. last year there was only the people that were high, drunk or just wanted that something for free. there was one female left out int he store by herself. the manager was in the office. the female was so scared that she would hide behind the counter because she saw what was coming in the store and she knew that the person was not in there to buy anything. the female manager or shift lead is older and much smaller. noting could have been done. they came in high took what they wanted and walked out red eyes and all. you tell me people how safe is this? scared to death to do anything but hide. the kub, , the money that came out to pay the employees and the money that walked out the door. that is what walgreens got for the store being open until mid-night during the holidays.
really that is this company or corporation, call it what you want.
they say you don't get penalized for speaking up or stating your complaints but i know differently, . you say here in this state you lose your job. they don't have to give you a reason, you know why!
pharmacy
I went to the Walgreens Pharmacy on Cart T. Jones Parkway in Huntsville, AL on 4/7/18 at 12:53 to pick up 2 prescriptions. The Pharmacy Technician that serviced me was Bradley J. He was arrogant, condescending, and a smart aleck. When he brought me my prescriptions, he said I owed $39.95 for the prescriptions, a 90 day supply of Omega 3 with Ethyl Esters and Fenofibrate. I explained that I had Federal Blue Cross/Blue Shield and TRICARE For Life and that I didn't normally have to pay that much. I asked if he ran the prescriptions thru Tricare for Life and he said yes, it says so right here, while looking at the prescriptions and me through the drive through window. Since I had this happen to me multiple times before at this same pharmacy, I knew he was lying. In every previous event, the Pharmacy Technician called my account up in their computer, re-priced my prescriptions, and did it with a smile on their face. Bradley J.'s final comment was, "If you don't want the prescriptions, I can put them back, in a very sarcastic manner. " Since I needed the prescriptions, I paid the money and left, totally incensed. Needless to say, this was the worst customer service I have ever received. Bradley J. was the poorest example of a customer representative Walgreens could ever have representing them. He should be fired immediately! The phone number there is [protected].
bathrooms broken
I shop all the time at my local Walgreens at 4385 S. Archer Ave, Chicago Illinois 60632. (Store #5926)
For almost a month now both customers bathroom are "broken". It is extremely unconvienient since I suffer from bladder disease. When asked about it, the manager, Mr Martinez did not have any explanation. Please make a bathroom available for
your customers if you want their business.

pharmacy
5420 Dr MLK JR street, Saint Petersburg, Fl 33702
Pharmacy per their recommendation wanted me to change medication. Med Not in stock had to be ordered. I delivered the script on March 2nd. Med Not received till March 8th. When I Asked pharm. Why med was not ordered on the 2nd when I gave them the script I was told no meds are orders on Friday's. So it wasn't ordered till Monday March 5th. Plus the pharm couldn't even tell me when the new med would be delivered to their store. I have no control when my Drs appointments are. Happened to be on Friday. Why can't the policy be changed so meds can be ordered on fridays instead of mon- thurs. Only. This new med was to be given with another med I had together. So since I didn't have the med now they are going to be out of synch.
time in pick-up prescription lime & no way to complain in this survey
I fill-out Fry's online grocery store survey's all the time. Easy to understand...Walgreen's is IMPOSSIBLE to decipher.
There were too many customers inside in the pharmacy line & not enough employees so I drove-thru to pick-up my prescriptions. BIG mistake...the woman in front of me took 20 minutes to pick-up nothing. The young man appeared to be in training...had no idea what he was doing. Considering how much business you get...would it really hurt you to hire a few more experienced checkers?
I'd change all my prescriptions back to my neighborhood Walgreen's except I don't think there would be any improvement in service. Walgreen's never hires enough pharmacy employees.
pharmacy department
On 3/13/2018 9:50pm my husband went to the Walgreens on Harmony Road in Jackson, NJ. The pharmacist told my husband he was picking up my prescription days early. That it will not be completely filled, but that she would contact the doctor's office to get the remaining amount filled when it should be. LIE, LIE, LIE, LIE, LIE. The prescription was filled exactly 1 month later. My doctors office was never called either. I called the pharmacy department on 3/15. Asked to have a manager call me back. The manager calls back in 5 minutes and tries to tell me the pharmacist has a record that she instructed my husband this would be an issue. LIE, LIE, LIE, LIE, LIE. I want to hear the verbal conversation that took place. See I have the txt msg that says he was notified the prescription was full and ready. I know my husband in no way said this was ok. About the only lie that wasn't told was that my husband was mad about the situation. He was because he was being lied to. So now I have to go pay another $70 copay to see the doctor and have her issue another prescription I get to pay the full amount for a partial prescription as well. I have been lied to in the past and am waiting to be reimbursed the $400 for a $8 medication from Walgreens as well.
Nortons is not working and I can't reach them so I am paying for a service I am not getting.
I can't even contact Nortons. I have security risks and not functioning for live updates. It's not working but they got paid.
Sorry for all the pharmacies are the same. They really do not care how much you suffer or how much you have to do without because of their incompatence. I call my pharmacy to give them time to have my medications ready but it does not matter how much time you give them they will make you wait an hour or two and show no care at all for the
pain and suffering you go through. I go to Safeway pharmacy and I believe they make us wait on purpose to make us shop at safeway. Safeway is at least a third higher than any other store so they get theirs no matter how they have to do it or how much you have to sacrifice to just get your medications. I think that most people have lost their humanity.
heating pads
Hello,
I was in store # 02975 a few days ago to buy a heating pad, will it so happens that the heating pad I wanted to buy the cashier could not ring it up. So he called the manager, the manager came over took the product went back it to the office to check it out. Here is where I have the problem, I waited about 20 minutes for the manager to come back to me and let me know why they could not ring it up, I was annoyed that it took that long and it was because 2 of his friends came in and they were talking about 15 minutes outside of the office, literally where I can see them. I didn't mind walking around the store and looking for other stuff to buy. The cashier was trying to help out as well, by the time the manager came over to let me know, I didn't buy anything else I picked out because he took so long to get back to me and didn't seem to mind that I was annoyed.
pharmacy personnel
went to Walgreens in Long Beach Ms. to purchase products for a procedure. I ask ed the lady in the Pharmacy a question about the product. She was rude, mad because I was not standing a 2 person line. All I wanted was to answer a question for me. She acted as if she was mad at me did not want to help me. I left that place and went straight across the street to Rite-Aid and the pharmacist came out and helped me find the product i needed. This person had a terrible attitude. Walgreens in Texas was good to me after Katrina and I am surely taken aback by this persons attitude. She was black, havy set. There wans another tech there that just looked at me and did not help or respond. Never go back and jmust sick that you bought our Rite-aid. Rosalie Kergosien
service
I am considering driving over 30miles to the next Walgreens in order not to associate with the Walgreens in a Macomb, IL. Every time I goto the drivethru I wait there for at LEAST 10minutes before anyone will talk to me. When I had an issue with my prescription not being filled on time they responded with "Look. That's not our problem. That's your problem." I cannot get them on the phone, as I'm writing this I've been on hold for 17minutes and no one will answer. I fill my prescriptions over the phone and they are NEVER filled no matter how much time I wait. Every month it is like pulling teeth to get my $2 prescriptions.
Also other businesses in Macomb know how rude this Walgreens. I called IDHS to find out why I couldn’t get my prescriptions she said “I suggest you don’t go to the Walgreens in town because we have nothing but priblems with them.”
no corporate responsibility for recycling
I passed the pack of the building and saw that the Durango, CO store has no recycling bin. Instead, I saw that the garbage bin was overflowing with cardboard. It was disgusting and heartbreaking to know that this store isn't doing anything to make an effort to recycle any of the shipping and cardboard boxes. Why isn't there the corporate responsibility for the environment and an effort made to recycle cardboard? How hard is it to contact the City of Durango and request them to put a cardboard recycling bin at the back of the store? Is the company trying to cut costs and not have to pay the recycling fee? Very disappointing? Especially being in a small town in Colorado.
safety hazard
As you enter the register area around 6:00pm (sun begins to set) the Walgreens in floyds Knobs Indiana (Lafayette station) the sun becomes so blinding that it poses a huge risk for patrons as well as employees. The windows require some tinting in order to provide a safe environment while standing in line to make their transactions. This blinding inhibits the ability of Coustumers as well as employees to make these transactions smoothly without being blinded to the possibility of any danger, theft, or miscalculations.
pharmacist
On february 18, 201, 342pm I took a prescription to be filled I was interrogated by the pharmacist I do not know her name but there was only 1 pharmacist on this day. I was asked several questions by this pharmacist that was I feel against by rights! I was asked why I was on this medication? How long I have been on this medication? I told her I had surgery. And I had been off and on this medication for approximately 5 years. I thought that was more than enough information but she didn't stop there! Why does my doctor feel I need to be on this medication? I told her I had surgery. She then asked when was my surgery? What was my surgery for? She said "and you're still on this medication?"why didn't he write what the script is for?"I will fill it this time and I think I should contact this doctor"! I left there upset to say the least, judged, interrogated, threatened, embarrassed, emotionally raped! I feel she should have consequences for the way I was treated I am sure I am not the only one she has done this to! She doesn't know me or my health situation which is none of her business her job is to fill prescriptions and answer questions about that medication not to interrogate, or judge me honestly people like that I do not feel should work for the public! I will continue to file this complaint with every place I can. Dianne henderson
There is a law called the hipa law to protect people it was her job to pull me aside and ask questions! Not in front of other people that was against my rights and a "drug addict"?Who said is was a narcotic? You are just another Judgemental person that thinks they know it all!
No i am Not being a "little dramatic"! That was beyond doing "her job" Wow look Another person who does Not know me that is going to sit on their "High "horse and Judge Me"!? And she has a computer right in front of her that tells her what I am taking and last filled I don't know how it works where you live but in this state the computers are hooked together and who said it was a narcotic? This is why they have the hipa law to protect the patient, now pulling me aside asking personal questions was her job!not in front of 5 other people!
naturethroid
The pharmacist and technician both told my mother (in person) and myself (over the phone) that the medication I take is no longer being manufactured. They didn't call me to inform me of this, the app showed my meds were ready for pick up. But I guess that's because it's a complete lie. It's true my medication is in short supply, but in no way has it been discontinued. My doctor confirms shortages exist and the producer should get their stock up in the next few months. My doctor has a supply so I can puschase from her office. But the deliberate misinformation from a professional is unacceptable. I no longer trust Walgreens with the great responsibility that dispensing medication is.
changing prescription order
I take tylenol with codeine, 2 po qhs for restless legs and one or two po q 4-6 hrs prn migrane.
I have taken this for years. I don't need anything stronger, nor will anything less remove the pain, allow me to sleep.
Recently I have injured my back, I am a nurse and lifting people finally blew my lumbar spine. I have an appointment with a pain specialist for a lumbar epidural.
None of this do your pharmacists know.
But... They changed my last rx from my doctor. He wrote for 90. He wrote 2 po qhs and one or two po q 4-6 hrs prn.
I got 60. The sig said one po q 6 hrs prn.
1. Who gave you the right to change a valid prescription order from my doctor?
2. Why was this done and I wasn't advised in advance?
3. Slick way to get two copays huh? My insurance initially denied the second rx for the "remaining 30".
I understand that there is an opiate abuse issue in the u. S.
I understand that everyone needs to pay attention to stop narcotic abuse.
I am not an abuser. This is not a new prescription. It's something I have taken for years. I have hypertension so taking a large amount of nsaids is a problem.
This is not good practice. After 30+ years of using our local walgreens... It stopped today when I read your "good practice act".
I don't know what to say about a desired resolution. It seems that walgreens has made a unilateral decision to label everyone abusers. Regardless of our true medical issues.
the lead pharmacist catherine at walgreens in marlborough mass, 01752
Where to start... First, when I was filling a prescription for 10 pills of 5 milligram vicodin after having 4 teeth removed, she asked me, what's the matter it's not the good stuff? I could barely speak. I had a mouth full of gauze and blood. That was the second script I had filled in 7 days. I asked what she meant by that? All she did was talk in circles after. Now, on 02-5-18 I had to pay out of pocket because I needed my dr, to have my script pre approved well I did. So I told my dr, to have it pre approved but he called your pharmacy and spoke with catherine and she outright lied to him. Saying that my insurance would not cover the prescription. I spoke with the insurance company myself and they said just have it pre approved. I don't know why you have people like this in your employment. Why this person thinks she is better than anyone is beyond me. But, her condescending attitude and lying to doctors is below the professionalism I have come to expect from walgreens. Needless to say I am no longer conducting business at any of your locations. I will also continue to share my expierience with all of my family and friends. I just thought you should know how your employees are representing walgreens.
Sincerely, erik kopp
you're unable to keep ladies and little girls save.
I heard on the radio that Walgreens is now allowing "MEN" in the ladies bathrooms. I applaud the sales person and the manager that refused to allow a transvestite who was not in costume, to go into the ladies room. My understanding is this MALE identifies as a woman. So Walgreen, if a 15 year old kid identifies as a 21 year old man, will you sell him liquor? What the blazes is wrong with you? Walgreens you are a sell out.
I will no longer use your services for photos or go into any of your stores.
Shame on you.
ps
It wouldn't matter if the dude was is drag or not.!
i'm complaining about the pharmacy.
2/1/2018
I went to the pharmacy to pick up my brothers medication which I rode my bicycle from Colton were I live. The pharmacy decided to enforce the rule that I needed his driver license to get the medication when previous month's when I had the license they never bothered to ask for it and by not asking for it they terminated that policy. She was the pharmacist who let the medicine go and now she wants to play by the rules.
