my point balance
This is absolutely not a huge problem but yesterday my Walgreens pharmacist told me my points would expire and I needed to use them. Yesterday my point balance was 17800 and the website says that I should get 5x the points 7/16 through 7/22. Today I spent $12.84 and my point balance is still 17800. My calculation is that 50 points for every dollar spent makes my balance 18442.
Again, this is a small problem but I'd like my points because that gives me $20 in rewards. Thank you for your help. Chris Cindric

falsely accused of trying to pass counterfeit
I went in to the Walgreens on 5th Ave downtown Nashville TN Saturday afternoon to add funds to a green for card. I do this routinely. I handed her $400 and my I d. She yelled at me in front of a crowded store " this [censor] is fake get the [censor] out of my store. I was humiliated it was extremely embarrassing. I asked her to use her counterfeit pen she said she didn't have one. I went to two neighboring businesses that assured me the money was real. I also went back to my job and got a counterfeit pen and came back and she still refused my services. I want this woman fired. I have spoken with the local news station and they agreed to do an investigation with the agreement that I contact the lawyer they referred me to. I have every intention on persuing this publicly.
Although this lady was black it was clearly her judging me based on my skin. I'm in there in my chefwear clearly on lunch but you chose to defame and embarrass me in front of a crowded store with no proof of your allegations. I had to leave work for the day because if I didn't pay my weekly hotel rent that were going to put me out and in town suites management office wasn't going to be open to monday. I lost a shift of work when I could have just been able to pay online and go about my day as usual.
sales price
I've visited the Walgreens in Gatlinburg Tennessee while on vacation. My kids wanted some goggles to play in the pool at the hotel this was the only place I could find any. The sun about the dog all said they were two for five dollars I got three pair. When I got to the register they rang up 399 And the other 2 pair 299. When I brought this to the Clark's attention she said no it rings off 399 I've been told her that they had a sign saying two for five dollars. She walk somewhere else and said no they are not on sale. Being that there was nowhere else to bother goggles at the time I'll pay for them. At this time I said so I'm over paying for what you have on sale. She wouldn't let me take her and show her the sign. She tried to get the manager to help but she wouldn't. Very disappointed in this location.
Oh and because of her when my daughter needed to use the washroom after we left the store I got so angry and slapped her across the face because she did not tell me before. Someone yelled at me and said that this was child abuse and said they were going to take my license and report me to CPS, They called me and they talked to my children and now because my children say that I call them names and hit them often my children were taken from me and placed in a foster home.
employees ugly attitude
For several weeks at 3802 cedar spring dallas texas, I have experienced such a rude treatment from one of the employees, !named(nequila)I was trying to checkout and pay for my medicine, she acts as though I were an annoyance .in one instance she said she has no patience in dealing with customers ...she had a nasty attitude, she was rude as hell !what a bad customer service .she get paid so she can fuss at customers and treat them like trash, , is she continues to have this attitude the store will lose customers over time .trust me no body like to be treated like that .customers are not an annoyance, we are the ones who pay her salary.hope the manager reads my comments and take care of that, , , , , , , , and I hope it was helpful
pharmacy tech
I dropped off my prescriptions at the Chapman Hwy pharmacy . The pharmacy tech, Beth, was very rude! She snatched the paper out of my hand and acted like it was an inconvenience to fill my prescription. I understand its a stressful, but dont take it out on the customers. Maybe a manager could deal with her. I will never go back to that particular store.
it was solved
manager
I usually like to shop at my local Walgreens and use my occasional coupons. When I tried to use them at check out with a manager named Courtney, she refused to take them. I questioned her and she may have raised her voice at me and repeated that she couldn't take them because of a limit. I've NEVER heard of this limit and this isn't the first time I've had this issue with her before. I've actually noticed of how rude she is when she orders her employees around like dogs. This is all from observation and I hope there's some changes because I used to think she was a kind person.
refund of a cash purchase
Today 7/11/17, my wife went to our local Walgreens store #06292 located in St Petersburg, Fl. She purchased an Ebay card for $500.00 in order for me to order car parts. When I found out what she did, I did some investigating as I had heard of several ebay scams. I called ebay and gave them the info re: the seller and they looked up the name. I found out that this name was not listed with ebay and that it appeared that this was set up as a scam. My wife paid $500.00 CASH for this card and tried to go back to the store and get a refund. she was told that the sale was final and that they would not refund her the cash. This was all done within 60 minutes of the original purchase. I find this hard to understand. if we gave the cash, why can't they void out the sale and give her the money back. I have reported the person involved in setting this up to ebay and will also contact law enforcement and my attny. Can u please help me put and end to this and authorize the store or the corporate office to refund my wife. I still have the card in question and the back scratch off area has not been touched. it has not been used. You can contact ebay and they can verify that the card has not been used. All I want is to get my money back and do not understand why the store could not be of assistance and just void out the sale and take the card back. My name is Larry Holly. My address is 5130 70th St. N. St. Petersburg, Fl. 33709. My email is [protected]@aol.com and my cell phone # is [protected]. Please, someone respond, and help me out of this predicament. $500.00 is a lot of money to just throw away.
I will be happy to return the card to the corp office so they can verify that it has not been used. No where on the card or the receipt does it say that the sale is final and no refunds allowed.
Thanks for your assistance and will await your reply.
Sincerely,
Larry Holly
All gift card purchases are final. Walgreens is the middle man. EBAY has your funds, that is who has to give you the refund. As soon wife paid the $500, it was loaded onto the card. No refunds are given, because of scams.
Again, call Ebay. And do your research first.
pharmacy
On July 10th around 4 pm I dropped off 2 prescriptions on paper to be filled. It was at this time I found out the two id called to get refilled had "accidently" been sent to a pharmacy 30 minutes away. This was the pharmacy on 1401 north main street in Fuquay varina nc where I encountered these problems. I said not a big deal I'll come back in a few hours and pick up all 4 if you can just pull the 2 from the other pharmacy. I got told no problem. I came back at 9 pm (this is a 24 hour pharmacy) and got told I wasn't allowed to get one of the medications because I had already picked it up. I spent 30 minutes arguing with the pharmacist and having him tell me that I clearly already had the medication in my possession when I didnt. I kept telling him call insurance. He finally did and it went through because they said no they had no record of it as I had said. He then proceeded to loudly tell me my birth control won't work while I'm on antibiotics so do I want to buy something else while I'm in the store? I am almost positive this is against hippa. I didn't ask for that information, I already knew it. Not to mention asking if I needed to purchase a back up method was very rude. I am on birth control for a medical condition not even for actual pregnancy prevention. I informed him of this even though I definitely didn't owe him an explaination and he just looked at me like I was dumb and walked off. After 35 total minutes at this pharmacy I finally received my 4 prescriptions when it should've been a very easy encounter. The pharmacy technician also had no clue what she was doing I've had issues before that they resolve within 2 to 10 minutes without the pharmacist but she had no clue what to do she even told me that. I am very disappointed and expect more from Walgreens.
biofinity contacts
Dear Customer Service,
Thank you very much for listening to my complaint. I ordered the below Biofinity Contacts. One pair was ripped and I called to get it replaced. Walgreens told me to ask the manufacture to replace. The manufacture sent me back to Walgreens. Please help! All I need is a replacement mailing. I would really appreciate it, if you could possibly mail me one pair of contacts in replacement of the defective pair. Lena Georgiev

photo dept.
I have pictures printed from my phone every week at Walgreens. This week the woman somehow printed 42 of my pictures with just people's foreheads. She asked me if I had cropped them. I said no, I'm not new to this I did the same thing I always do. So she had me go through and recrop every single photo and would only give me credit for 40 of them. Then I waited for 2 and a half hours for my prints, while not one but 2 secret shoppers offensively followed me around. Then I hear a guy in the photo dept ask the woman that was "helping" me - " are we still having problems with the crop thing"! So the woman had me do her job, made me think it was my fault, and didn't even fully reimburse me. I was so frustrated and upset. I should have expressed my dissatisfaction right then, but I held it together. However, I feel that after all the money I spend there this whole fiasco was absolutely ridiculous. In fact I am so offended by the way I was treated, for me to continue getting my pictures printed with you I'm going to need to see some kind of incentive. Thanks for listening.
rewards cards
No more Walgreens for me. Long time customer, but they intentionally price everything higher so you apply for a 'rewards' card. I used to go in for items I needed because it was convenient and low priced. Now it's inflated prices and 'oh, no rewards card? I guess you don't like saving money.' No, I don't want the hassle of a stupid card. I have a life and when I want things, I buy them and get out of the store. I will be going to Walmart for the items I need now. Why? Because they have everyday low prices. No gimmicks, no cards, no hassles.
pharmacy
Customer Care,
On July 5th after getting 3 prescription from my doctor. I went two doors down to Walgreens on the corner of Sahara Road and Fort Apache in Las Vegas, Nevada where my prescription was being filled. I was told that day there was a question about my eyedrops if they were four times a day or every four hours. According to them they needed clarification. They could not get clarification because the doctors office was closed. So I was asked to return the next day to pick up eyedrops. I did so to find out that absolutely no follow-up had been taken and they still did not have clarification from the doctor . So I was asked to have a seat and wait. Once they receive clarification from the doctor. I was called back up to the counter to let me know that they did not have that medicated eye drops in stock. If that was the case then receiving verification from my doctor on how often I should take this medicine that you don't have stocked was unnessary and a complete waste of my time. Then I was told that I could go to another location to get it! I will not! I have unfortunatly lost precious time that can never be returned.

pharmacy
Pharmacy lost my paper copy of prescription. On Thursday June 29th I went to my doctor's office for my 3-month medreview. My previous Pharmacy through Kmart closed Wednesday the day before. So I decided to use Walgreens because I liked the idea of the drive-thru and their really convenient hours. So I take my prescriptions there and they are extremely busy trying to take in a bunch of Kmarts patients as well. I talked to and gave my 2 paper copies of my prescriptions to a lady named Kris. She asked me for my date of birth and set both prescriptions down and wrote it on them . I Gave my insurance information and she gave me a quote on the price for them after insurance, signed me up for text alerts I told her I didn't need any of them right away and that I could come back later that night since they were so busy and she said it should only take about an hour or so. Anyway I go back to pick them up and I only get my two allergy meds not the other medication which is Ritalin. So I just thought well maybe they were too busy or didn't have it on hand I'll go back tomorrow or the next day. Saturday comes and I called before I decide to go there and I talk to Kris again I asked her if my other one was ready and she asked me which one I was referring to so I told her the Ritalin she said that she had no record of it and asked if I was sure I gave it to her I told her I was positive and that I remember her placing both copies of my prescriptions on the counter and writing my date of birth on them she asked me to make sure and check my vehicle and said that they would look around. After phone calls back and forth she ended up telling me that if my doctor's office called them they would confirm it was lost so that I would be able to get a new one but by that time my doctor's office wouldn't be open till Monday so I call and left a message on my doctor's office answering machine. I call Monday morning and talk to one of the receptionist's and she said that somebody called Walgreens that morning and everything should be fine. I go to Walgreens and ask about my prescription to somebody else because Kris was not there that day, and the guy told me that I needed to get a new paper copy of my prescription and had the pharmacist or the manager I'm not quite sure, come over and tell me that I had to get a new paper copy as well, and I asked them, that I had to get one for the prescription that they lost and they said yes so I called my doctor's office back and they said that I need to get one as well which wasn't what I was told the first time but was fine with it. However my doctor wouldn't be back until Wednesday and the nurse practitioner didn't initially want to write me anything until my doctor was back. So my doctor's office ran the scan I'm not sure exactly what it is but basically checks to make sure that my prescription wasn't filled anywhere else which came back that I hadn't or that nobody else had either. And when I had talked to the nurse who had talked to Walgreens she told me that Walgreens told her that she doesn't make mistakes like that and that I was told that they didn't have what I needed on hand and gave me back my copy, which is absolutely not true and the gal that I had dealt with the whole time wasn't there that day either so whoever the nurse talked to which would be the pharmacist or the manager flat-out lied to them. now due to the type of medication that it is I feel like my doctor is thinking that I'm doing something fishy and doesn't feel comfortable rewriting me the prescription because Walgreens made it out to be like it was my fault I'm extremely upset because now my prescription with my name on it which is a controlled substance is out floating around somewhere or misplaced in Walgreens and I won't be able to get my prescription for a whole other month. I am an optical technician and this medication is very important for me to be able to do my job properly without making mistakes. So now I'm going to file a police report against Walgreens pharmacy. Will be asking for their security camera footage to see if it's visible when I handed them over my two copies of prescriptions to at least confirm that I handed them to separate pieces of paper.

walgreens' own advertising practice
Dear Walgreens management,
For the past several weeks, I have been very distressed to find the Walgreens ad missing from my Sunday newspaper.
I now understand that is is not the paper's mistake, but that this is Walgreens' doing.
I am writing to urge you to reinstate your practice of advertising through newspaper fliers. Sure, I know I could look online, but that is no fun and I wouldn't bother anyway. I also know that I can pick up the ad in the store itself, but I for physical and time reasons, I cannot stand and look through that for several minutes and make on-the-spot decisions about what sale items I might want to buy.
When I receive the ad with my newspaper, I sit down and star each item I'd like to buy and add those items to my general Walgreens "wist." Not only is that fun for me to do, but you end up selling me many, many more items.
When I went to Walgreens earlier this week, I picked up a flier. I didn't look at it there but did take it home with me. Just out of interest, I went through it and starred 27 items I would have purchased had I had the flier before I went to the floor.
Both out of respect for your customers and, I believe, a business advantage to you, reinstate your ads in the Sunday paper.
Sincerely and with thanks,
Kate Boylan
(I mostly shop at the Wayzata, MN, and Holmes Beach, FL, stores.)
I looked online for a specific product, saw it advertised at Walgreens for 10.99. Went into the store, big yellow tag on the shelf 10.99. Got to the checkout, paid for two of the item. Got home and discovered that the 10.99 was only for those with a rewards card. So I had to pay $13.99 each.
That's the last time I will go into Walgreens.

pharmacist customer service
I am a registered nurse at a busy OB/GYN's office. Yesterday @ 16:26 I left a new RX on voicemail system for the Walgreen's in Texas City, Texas. This morning patient called to complain that pharmacy did not have RX. Called pharmacy, went through prompts to speak with pharmacist. Once he, Josh, got on the phone, he was very rude and abrupt, putting me on hold X 4 minutes at which point I was disconnected or hung up on. I immediately called back, Josh got on phone, rushed me, cut me off and was completely rude. We are both professionals and in turn, should act that way.
pharmacy
On 6/26/2017 I went to have a prescription filled for my husband who was just released from the ER due to Hernia Surgery complications. When I arrived in the drivethru I submitted my prescription and my Drivers License which was required. Anyways the woman in the Drive thru tells me that she can not fill my husbands prescription until the next day since he was on a Narcotics less than ten days ago. On 6/19/2017 he had a prescription filled in which the bottle was labeled wrong. It said take 1 tablet every 4 hours as needed for 10 days. The quantity on the bottle was 30. It was supposed to read take 1 tablet every 4 hours as needed for 5 days. They would have known this have they done the math. 1 tablet every 4 hours would be 6 pills in a 24 hour period. 6 pills times 10 days would have equaled 60 pills not the 30 in which they wrote on the side of the bottle. It should have read 1 tablet every 4 hours as needed for pain for 5 days. 6×5=30. I am highly upset and I will never ever get my prescriptions filled by another Walgreens nor will I ever shop there. I was treated very badly and I ended up going to CVS instead that very same day and had my prescription filled so my husband wouldn't have to be in pain all night. Walgreens you just lost a good customer.
photo processing kiosk
On 06/25/2017 at about 8:15 PM we went into the Walgreens at 37th street & 35th avenue, Evans, Colorado to use the photo kiosks for printing 4x6 photos. We have done business with this store for quite sometime. It appears that both Walgreens corporate management as well as local management (store manager : ie: Jim) does not want our business. We print hundreds of photos at a time but were abruptly challengeed by a store supervisor: ie: Danielle Palosso or Danielle Flopal (not sure of last name) and told tovget off the kiosks as other customers were waiting. This is outright DISCRIMINATION.
