website feedback /#3, 000.00 cash sweepstakes
I have in the past used walgreens "how are we doing"? Questionnaire. I had no problems finding /using the websitewww.walgreens/feedback.com. in the past. Unfortunately, in the last few months (Or longer) I can't access the website walgreens gives to rate how your vist to walgreens was. For your time they enter you into their monthly $3, 000.00 cash prize sweepstakes.
short on medication
yesterday I filled my pain pills with my hometown walgreens as I always do every month. When I recieved my medication I loked at the bottle and thought to myself, that doesnt look full enough, It was 2:30pm and I had to be back in troy tenn. by 2:40 to get my child out of school so I lfet and decided as soon as I could park at the school I would count them. I got to my childs school, counted them, and sure enough I was missing 10 pain pills. when i called the walgreens they said it wsnt their prob. because once you leave the store they can account for them. They offfered me back $4.50 for the 10 missing pills and said they would refill them 3 days early for my incoveince. This is not acceptable. Someone stole my prescription medication, and this is illegal and despicable. They wanted to make me feel like the mistake was made or my behalf when I KNOW it was not. I am not stopping untill something is done. Ive called the corporate office twice & a new investigation has been started. I hope they will get to the bottom of this. They said a order was made to watch the surveliece video and I hope they find out the truth. I hope it was caught on tape and they fire whoever had something to do with this. You shouldnt have to count them before you leave, you trust a pharmacy and believe they will do you right. I have a bran new prescription that should be filled up to the top of the bottle, and instead it looks like Ive had this bottle for a week now. This is not right under any circustances.

If you had already been shorted once, why would you use them again. And not only that, why would you not stand at the counter and count them the second time if you know once you leave the store they don't care? If you ask me the second one was your fault, you should have known better.
Walgreens #3657... Over several occations I have been shorted my medication from Walgreens. I have filed an offical complant with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy. An investigation will take place. I suggesst any one having this problem do so with your State Board of Pharmacy.
Get the District Pharmacy manager involved. Find out who the manager is, and demand an explanation. it shouldn't have to come down to getting a video surveillance... they probably JUST COUNTED WRONG.
over reacting
Ive been employeed at walgreens for over 5yrs and on Sept. 14 I found my uncle passed away due to a drunk driving accident he caused. I was in shock and depressed when we were told what had happened; from then i just wanted to stay away from alcohol and not drink at all So i then went to look for AA meetings to see what it was all about; i also asked...

On Friday, Jan 8th, 2010, my husband, Mark Ullenberg, picked up a prescription from Walgreens that had been mishandled for 3 days by either Walgreens or this Doctor, Dr. Thomas Reiners. Dr Reiners was faxing 3 medications to Walgreens for refills. Walgreens only refilled 2 of the medications saying that the one had been denied by Dr. Patel. But Dr. Patel...

I brought a refill prescription bottle back to the pharmacy during the time when this drugstore was very backed up during the time when they were giving flu shots. The pharmacy technician was on the computer and just glanced at me and said "Is this a refill?" I said yes and went about my business in the store. When I came back to get the prescription, they...

On 12/31/2009 I was dispensed a partial refill of Topamax 100mg (6 tablets out of 120). This medication is used for seizures. Six tablets will only last me 3 days, the pharmacist then told me that he would not have the remaining tablets until Monday; obviously he miscalculated and this would not hold me over until Monday and I could be in danger of having a seizure. I then called the pharmacist and told him his mistake and he acknowledged his error and stated that he would have 12 tablets available for me in the morning. I also told him that the label did not state partial and it showed as if he had dispensed all 120 tablets; he then stated that they were aware that this was a partial. Today January 3rd, my husband went to pick up the 12 tablets set aside for me and the pharmacist on duty "Keyla" was not only the most unprofessional individual I have ever met new nothing of the 12 tablets, but refused to dispense them to him and stated that all 120 were already given to me and refused to call the pharmacist that was on duty on 12/31/2009 to attempt to clear up the mistake. She had no concern of the fact that I could potentially have a seizure today and stated that SHE WOULD NOT BE LIABLE AMD DID NOT CARE! When my husband returned without my medication at 8:00a.m. I attempted to contact Keyla to correct the problem and she simply hung up on me. I have filed a complaint with Walgreens and have been able to obtain my medication at least for today but the issue is yet to be resolved. As a CEO of a Hospital I am appalled that Walgreens employs this kind of individual that does not take patient safety seriously. I will not stop until this is resolved but I would like everyone to be aware of this persons serious lack of consideration and professionalism.
Sincerely,
Concerned Consumer.

I submitted the following complaint to Oregon Department of Justice:
I picked up Alphagan-P eyedrops from the above pharmacy on 12/29/2009. The next day (12/30), when I opened the box, I found that the container had no security seal and there was no informational brochure which comes with the drops. By then, while opening the box, I had torn off the patient information slip that was attached to the box. But I immediately called the pharmacy and spoke to someone and explained what had happened. She told me to bring it in and that I would get a new bottle. On 12/31, at around 5:30pm, I promptly took the eyedrops (in its box) along with the patient wlip (which was torn off the box by now) to the pharmacy and asked to get a new one as promised. The pharmacist on duty examined the bottle and the patient slip for a while and without hesitation declared that that bottle was not sold from their pharmacy. She then said that I would have to take up the matter with the manufacturer and that she would not be able to replace it. I insisted on her that I had got that bottle from them two days earlier and asked her to check their system to see if she can find a cross reference to the lot # from the bottle or the barcode from the patinet slip on the box. She refused and stuck to her claim that that bottle was not from their pharmacy.
I felt utterly annoyed at this point; she was implying that I was lying. At that point, I asked her to give me a written statement stating what she had told me. She then took the bottle and the box and asked me to wait. After about 5-7 minutes, a gentleman came with replacement eyedrops in a box and said that they had given me a new bottle.
This whole experience was very unpleasant. Despite my telling her that I had obtained that bottle from their pharmacy and asking her to check that I had been getting that medication from them for years now and why I would claim something was wrong just this once, she could not for once consider it probable that they might have given me an opened bottle.
I wonder how they could sell me an opened eye medication in the first place. At a minimum, I would think the pharmacist should be reprimanded for inconsiderate attitude and arrogance and Walgreens be warned about such harmful paractices.
Unfortunately I've had similar experience w/ Walgreens in NJ, the pharmacist act as if it's no big deal the dangers of not getting the NEEDED medication prescribed. I've been on numerous prescriptions where I had to fight/get upset by the lack of sensitivity these people have to other people's needs. I even had to chase down my own medication by calling every Walgreens in the surrounding area to find medication availability(Something they could of done for me) & then go get it..& this was right after surgery? I've been on the same medication(fentanyl Patch) for Pain for years & know I refill monthly along with Thyroid medication why not have this medication already in-stock the week of refill? I even called to remind I'll be refilling my prescriptions & what they are & doses...to think they'd have it in for me... NO! Instead they rather me upset (I'm disabled from 2 different accidents) crying at the counter needing my medication NOW & THEN not 2 to 3 days later. Being on a controlled substance insurance companies are strict on the days of refill. IT TOOK ME TO CALL CORPORATE OFFICE & FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST WALGREENS FOR THEM TO HAVE MY PRESCRIPTIONS READY & WAITING FOR ME EACH MONTH. These people really don't care & until someone dies due to their actions things won't change. Why do we need to fight & argue to get what we need is beyond me. I've also been on Topamax but for severe migraine headaches I couldn't handle the drug, I was violently throwing up.
employee health benefits
I have no use for the employee benefits. They are too expensive considering I never use them. Ever. So during open enrollment, I see posters everywhere with the headline - "if you do not enroll during open enrollment, your benefits will not automatically continue next year."
Just two weeks ago I receive a letter, happily greeting me to my new benefits which they automatically enrolled me in without my consent. And the kicker - since I did not enroll during open enrollment, I am now officially a tobacco user, even though I have never smoked. But fortunately, next year I can request to once again get my tobacco free premium.
800. Talk. Ins is absolutely worthless. They want an application waiving my benefits, and a written statement stating why I did not go through open enrollment and why I wish to waive my benefits. When asked why I can't simply get out of this mess over the phone, they pretty much tell me I am beat. When I mention the fact that every poster I have seen said absolutely nothing of being automatically enrolled against my own wishes (As a tobacco user nonetheless) I am told I received a massive book explaining this somewhere in the fine print.
I told them I never received this package. And no, it was not certified mail. Is this legal? How can they possibly do this. My only option is to simply quit, considering paying 70 per month for absolute garbage is something I refuse to happily comply with.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Honestly I cannot understand how you could not have known that "this year open enrollment" was different and because it was Walgreens took the extra steps in everything I read to go online to the employee site, talk to your EXA or store manager but doing nothing got you an increased smoking policy. I am certain Walgreens would like to resolve all issues over the phone however we live in a "legal world" and for both sides it normally requires a signed document. I have my share of issues with Walgreens but Walgreens did not do anything illegal here, we were all informed and I was out on disability and I still made a point of being informed. Open enrollment is yearly, every year so you need to chalk this up to experience and prevent this from happening again...whether at Walgreens or any other company...open enrollment is every year and it's our responsibility to do our part. If your only solution is to quit you must not need this job anyway but for your new job you will see it's legal and similar. Good Luck
$3000.00 contest
On Dec. 28th I recieved 2 reciepts from walgreens both advertising for $3000.00 contest for taking a survey for this months drawing. The web site is no good and the only item for this web site is complaints. As a valued costumer I feel this should be corrected as soon as possible and credit should be given for trying to enter drawing. Receipt ref #s are as follows rfn#[protected]-2820 and refr#[protected]-2820.

Walgreen's is a well known store and to advertise such a contest right here at Christmas time when any hope is worth trying, they do this I think Walgreen should take time out from counting all their profits and take responsibility for this contest.
I DONT UNDERSTAND IM SUSPOSED TO FEAL OUT A SURVEY TO WIN 3000, 00 AND ITS NOT HERE WHAT THE HEK!
do not understood
Do no understood.
I do not speak very well inglish and it was dificult to enderstood.
I tried to do the survey and half way through it I received and error and could not complete it..I s this just a scam or what if you want to know about your service then I feel the problem should be fixed. I do work in customer service and that is very important for your business. If you advertise for this you should make this easy for the customer. This is a good way to lose the customers! I think you should get the GEEK SQUAD to fix your problem...
I just took the survey because of the complaints I read on this thread (I had to see for myself). I was completely surprised by the lack of advertizements and the ease with which the survey was conducted. I found nothing wrong with this site and feel that at least some of these complaints are singular in nature. We will see if I know get bombarded with advertizement via my email.
racisim
This new walgreens that was just opened a few months ago was thought to be the greatest thing that could've even happened to land o lakes, fl. Well I was soo wrong! Their customer service in this place has been nothing but racist, crude and nasty! For example my daughter and I would constantly get followed from aisle to aisle with such stares as if we were there to rob the store. And if it wasn't the stares, it was the constant asking "may I help you?" " or you okay?" "can I help you, do you need any help?" And this occurred before we could get both feet in the door! One day I was so frustrated that I left the cart in the aisle, asked to speak with a manager to make a complaint. Well that didn't do any good, because his response was"I doubt that this happened, but sorry if it did." So the next morning I made an complaint to their headquarters. Well they assured me that someone in their higher management department will be contacting me in reference to an apology. The higher management called alright, with a nasty attitude as if I did something wrong to her. She offered no remorse, but indeed a forced apology without a reassurance that this will happen again. My last straw was on Christmas day, we needed some last minute items that evening, knowing they'll be open I decided to dash right over. I so regret ever thinking of going to that racist place! My daughter and I were the only customers left to ring up, but rather than take us next the cashier frowned at us both, pointed at us and rudely said out loud to go to the next register. Her register was not closed, in fact she was talking to a couple on and on long after she rung them up. I went to the manager about this, and she said its because her line is closed! Well I told her that you can see clearly its not, and that she should have rung me up, rather than sending my daughter and I across the whole store! Someone need to really do something about this store, I shouldn't have to travel miles away to a different Walgreens in order to avoid a racist Walgreens right near my home!
I totally agree Angelflake! The same thing has happened to me as well. Its the new Walgreens that was just built located in Land o Lakes, Florida across from Connerton. To avoid this rude place I've been going to the Publix in Connerton instead! Hope someone at Walgreens Corporate Headquarters read this and fix the problem soon. How dare they treat their own customers this way!? If not for us, they'll go down faster than they were put up!

refund?
Good morning,
Not sure if a refund is possible however I felt it was worth the effort. I purchased a phone card at Walgreens in Natick, MA on October 2009 for my son who (unfortunately) is incarcerated. I mailed the phone card to him for his use. The prison denied him the card and returned it to me. My dilemma is I have absolutely no use for this card? I would never use it and do not know anyone that would. I understand the refund is probably not possible but any assistance you might be able to provide would be appreciated. sincerely, Donna Pelland, 18 Heritage Ln, Natick, MA 01760. [protected].

pharmacy gave personal info to a doctor without my consent told the doctor everything about me
The pharmacy techs are rude and very lazy had to wait 1 hour for me meds. And one of the techs gave out personal info about me to a doctor without my permission i think they are very rude but Kurt Butts and Stepanie are very nice and get my meds right away with no wait, also i was given the wrong meds a couple of times from the other techs.Thank you something needs to be done here
every pharmacy tech here needs to be trained all over again to be polite to consumers and not to give out personal info to doctor without my consent they need to stick to the hippa act which they do not do on anyone

terrible/horrilbe customer service
I went to this Walgreens store for the first time in a long time because I live two blocks from the Cedar Mill Walgreens. I went there with my mother because we had to do some shopping at a sporting goods store for my brother. I have been unemployed since August of 2009 when the call center I worked for in Downtown Portland shut its doors and relocated the center to a state that has its own very low minimum wage lower than the national one and that effected 189 of us and the call center will never return to Portland ever.Since 2000 it is the 20th call center to do this and leave to go either off shore where the minimum wage is $1.00 or lower and hour. So it has been hard and money is hard as heck to come by. The actual unemployment rate in Portland and Oregon is running around 22% because so many people have fallen off the rolls and quit lookingfor work such as myself. I spent 82.29 that I did not even have so my family could have some type of Christmas. Walgreens gave me 5 sacks that all busted out completely and stuff went everywere. I am disabled and have to use a walker due to severe severe osteoarthritis and I DO NOT qualify for SS and can not get it and have been trying since 1998. I put a complaint on their website and all the details and the store manager "STEVE" called me at home the day after Sunday 12/20/09 and sounded 100% like PEE WEE HERMAN. He had a horrible attitude and kept trying to assume his persona while talking to me. He was a total jerk and DID NOT CARE and said "what do you want me to do about it." He said my sacks made it out to my mom's car and they did not at all and he knew they did not. He said their cameras told them they did. He violated my rights of privacy by looking at me in the camera without my knowledge. They have to tell you legally they are filming you in their store. He accused me of lying and I was not. If I was lying then why did he have to call me to ask me questions on Sunday 12/21/09? How can someone trying to sound and act like PEE WEE HERMAN even have a clue how to handle customers or even give a damn about handling customers. Needless to say when he called me at home Sunday 12/20/09 to discuss me being so angry he had this "I do not give a damn attitude" and acted like I was a liar and did not even say thank you for me and my mother spending over $240.00 between the two of us that we DID NOT HAVE on Christmas. They are one of the few stores that all these years do not have scooters for the disabled and does not AT ALL care about the disabled. If they did they would have the scooters for them like Winco, Thriftway and Fred Meyers does and has had for years and years. Steve was a total 100% ### and jerk and why did you call Steve if all you were going to do is imitate PEE WEE HERMAN and act like you do not give damn. I have read online that 95% of store managers do not care and are this way for sure. I hung up on you Steve because you did not care at all and by how you talked to me on the phone like disabled people are not your customers and that disabled people do not matter. So far in 2 weeks I have told 10 people about my experience and according to the laws of customer service those people will tell 10 more people and those 10 people will tell 10 more and so on. In 2-3 years Walgreens will be OUT OF BUSINESS due to your non-caring of the disabled and your non-caring of ALL your customers and giving them sacks that are cheap and crappy and all bust out and that is not your responsibility of how you treat them. If you and your workers are so unhappy and are so stressed out of having to work on Christmas day and over Christmas TAKE SOME TIME OFF. Do not blame your problems on other people or your customers. It is so wrong. I will never ever ever go back to Walgreens ever ever again and plan to tell more and more people about how HORRIBLE THIS manager "Steve" was and his piss por attitude. You are nothing like PEE WEE HERMAN steve. You need to quit Walgreens and take a year or more's worth of customer service classes to learn about to handle customers and their needs. Disabled people DO COME TO YOUR STORE. They deserve to be respected. Steve you have disrespect for your customers and yourself otherwise you would not need to assume another person's persona. I HATE YOUR GUTS WALGREENS. I plan to never go back to a Walgreens ever ever again based on how HORRIBLE I was treated in your store. You do not give a damn and hope you will be OUT OF BUSNESS BY 2012. The way you are going you will be by sure by your horrible and piss poor CUSTOMER SERVICE.
It is their falt that the bags broke because those are the bags being supplied by Walgreens. Just so ou know the unemployment rate among the disabled is 14% times the Real national rate of 29-30% unemployment if you count all the people who have given up looking for work and have fallen off the unemployment roles. That would mean the unemployment rate among the disabled is over 350%. I am looking for a job and if you hurt 24-7 and had osteoarthritis due to a bad car wreck maybe you would feel the same way I do. It was not my falt my call center I worked for outsourced to another country and closed the center and almost all the call centers here have done this leaving thousands and thousands of innocent Oregonians out of work not to mention the thousands of manufacturing companies that have outsourced and closed and left oregon leaving thousands and thousands out of work here. Maybe if you had this happen to you you would feel the same way.
I know that Walgreens is this way towards the disabled. I had a problem with them once about a return and the store manager called me like he called you and said he did not have to do anything for me and was an ### like he was to you and I ended up hanging up on the jerk. He said his name was Rick. Never will I shop there again at Walgreens. they suck bad.
Most store managers of these type of stores are jerks and DO NOT CARE. I happen to know that Fred Meyers, Winco, and Safeway and even Wal Mart do have scooters for the disabled and do care about these type of clientel using their stores. Walgreens has a reputation according to what I know where the Store Managers are this way when they call you up to try and resolve a problem. I had this happen and the store manager of a store that did me dirty was a jerk and did not care about me as a Customer at all and I will never go back to that store to this day and NEVER EVER WILL GO BACK. I agree 100% with this persons comments about Walgreens because their store managers are Jerks and do not care and never will and they have had disrespect for the disabled for years and years and that is why they will never carry scooters for the disabled and why if you have a problem they will get a store manager who is an ### to call you and not at all attempt to help you solve your problem. I hate your guts Walgreens you jerks. I have not shopped in your store at all in over a month and NEVER WILL AGAIN because of your disrespect of the disabled and ALL CUSTOMERS.
I realize I did a horrible job typing this in the computer. Thank you for noticing but it still does not change how I was treated. Walgreens store Managers Do not care according to people I talk to everywhere and that is how ALL of them are. I am not a thief and the should not consider EVERYONE a thief. They should not be giving out crummy sacks to people that spend money in their stores. Never at any place of business here in Portland have I ever got sacks this bad. If they gave a damn they would of tried to care when they called me rather than having someone call me that was assuming the persona of someone else so he did not have to care about my problem. I still hate Walgreens guts and ALWAYS WILL.

You do realize that you are filmed in every store that you go into on a daily basis right? And that most if not all stores have signs up someplace telling you that very thing, although it is not required for them to do so. When you walk into that store you are walking onto their property. And if they walked up and personally told everyone in the store that they were recording them, it would defeat the purpose of the cameras. Geez seriously?
well i hope this lady finds peace and gesser your a major [censor].
WTF does Pee Wee Herman have to do with anything...
First, you are immature in your complaint.
Second, stores have security cameras to prevent thievery.
Third, paragraph breaks are free. You should use them.

My mother called in for a refill at 9:30 am and was told it would be ready by 11 am. Last month when we went to pick up her prescription at the time we were told it would be ready, they told us they were working on it and it would be another 20 minutes. This time we gave them an extra hour and fifteen minutes before we tried to pick it up. While we were waiting in the drive through for the clerk to check on it another car pulled up. When the clerk came back to the window, she waited on the other customer first. After she was done with them, she got back on the phone to tell us that the pharmacist was just now filling the prescription and it would be a few more minutes. After another ten minutes or so, she came back to send us the basket for our payment. When she sent the basket back out to us with my mothers credit card and medicine, it just popped open and everything fell out and under my car. The clerk did not notice since she had walked off as soon as she sent the basket out to us. I had to squeeze out my car door which was blocked by the basket that was still just hanging there. Then I had to get on my hands and knees to reach my mother's medicine. Being a 50 year old woman with bad knees, this was not the easiest maneuver for me. At no time did anyone from the pharmacy ask if they could be off any help or even if there was a problem. A few months ago, they said they would call my mother's doctor to get a refill authorized and when we went back the next day, they claimed to know nothing about this. My mother had to end up contacting her doctor and get the refill called in which delayed her getting her medicine for another full day. Needless to say, I have convinced my mother to move all her presciptions from Walgreens. We will not be returning there for any reason.

Covid has sent customer service to hell, so I have lowered expectations, but taking more than a week to fill prescriptions, is a new low. By the way, it has NOT been filled yet, so the clock is still running.
I had a RX filled on a Monday for an antibiotic, erythromycin. I was told that they could only give me a partial order as that was all they had in stock. The balance of my RX would be in the next day. I recieved a call on Thursday that the balance was in. This was two days later than I was promised. I went to pick up the balance on Friday as I was now out of this medication. I was told that it was not in yet from the warehouse and they couldn't tell me when it would be in. The clerk at the pharmacy left it at that and said next customer. Any dummy knows that an antibiotic must not be skipped and finished until the RX is gone. I had a very bad infection and Walgreens didn't seem to care if Imissed any dosage. I asked to speak to a manager. She offered me a soulution: She would call around the area to see if another Walgreens had the antibiotic and whould then pick it up for me and bring it to the store where I was waiting. That was a very kind gesture on her part and part of her job as a manager. I waited an hour for her to go 7 blocks. Although I very much appreciated her helping me I was still upset with the Pharmacy Manager who could have either called around for the balance the first day I was there or made sure the balance was in when promised. In the Chicago area there are hundreds of Walgreens stores. I am a Senior Citizen who does not drive and the Pharmacy Manager knew this. I think it is horrible they way Walgreens treats it's older customers. I for one have been shopping at Walgreens for over 30 years. I think it's about time I looked for another pharmacy.
In response to your comment. let me say this. Employees are human, and are not perfect and have bad days. Maybe the customer as well, don't we all have bad days. As far as being human, I would contest that the customer may be in a position to be more human and just, and just as hard working like every struggling human being on this earth.. I didn't ask for a therapist, or anyone to hold myhand, I'm perfectly capable of handling my own.without anyone to help. Who's being treated like garbage, the employee or the customer. I think you got it twisted. I'm overjoyed also I don't like idiots, especially one that gets hired and can't do a job. I remember people, and not too often jerks llke that. I helped alot of people, when I was struggling, and didn't care about myself, but gave someone a helping hand, and I don't need a big job and prestige to to be an ###, and certainly don't have to prove it. We'll are we not all the same in mind and body, human that is, it just that some idiots in the world who think there ### don't stink, make up for more than half of the population, and the poor struggling people like myself who get treated like garbage, Have a harder road to hoe. Well put that in you pipe and smoke it, prema dona.
I think poor customer quality care that I received when I returned an item back to the store, and this man couldn't meet my expectations and give better service.
I think some people could deal with situations that are similar in nature, if only they knew that they can file a grievance and that it isn't something that they should have to put up with, poor customer quality care. I think i'll not let someone get the best of me, and come out on the winning side. If someone gives me a problem, I will go and make a complaint against them, and maybe this would help the qualityof being a valued customer.
I use to get medicine at this pharmacy also, I will not use there pharmacy, because they told me to call the doctor and have him phone in a perscription, when they are suppose to call the physician, not make the customer call for a medicine ordered by the physician. They made me wait almost 1 hour, and most of the time I have to wait for medicine a long time to get filled.
I have a problem with this also, and as a customer I am not appreciated. You spend a few minutes in this store, and the security are standing waiting at the door to make sure you didn't take anything. I don't shop at this store anymore, and I get what I need elsewhere. The manager that works here has a real bad attitude black man. I am looking into turning him in and complaining against him.
They are complete jacka**es! I can tell you right now that they received your antibiotic then informed you that they had the remainder you needed, but instead of bottleing and lableing it for you (since it was a remainder of a script) they wound up filling another prescription for it before you could get in to pick it up...hence they were out when you arrived to pick the RX. Do yourself a favor and NEVER use Walgreens Pharmacy again! There are so many others to choose from. Use a small "mom & pop" pharmacy and give your neighbors (so to speak) your business instead of those who do not care about you as a person, customer, or human being for that matter! The prices are usually way better at the small pharmacies anyway. Hope mt opinion helps and you never return to Walgreens. Thanks!

HI I will be honest, I do not shop at Walgreens that much as it is out of my way but every now and then when they have unbelievalbe circulars I go there. UNfournatley I am always dissapointed, they do not have the product or only had a few of them to start with. ON my visits manytimes NO clerk knows where the product is? THIS complaint is MINLY about the reciept.
I feel it is very difficult to read. I bought almost everythiing on sale an dI honestly cannot tell if I got the sale price. Other drug stores like KINNEYS and Rite AID have much easier to read reciepts and Iknow when I leave theri stores that Ihave gotten the sale price.
I hope a very important person at WALgreens gets thsi complaint and does something about it.

you web site"walgreensfeedback.com", does not come up.
I work for Walgreens but I am not a "very important person"; I am an asst. manager in CA but I read your comment and wanted to respond by first saying, I am sorry you have had that experience. I am proud to work for Walgreens and yes, we have many opportunities to listen, change and improve. I hope you will come back to this site to check for any comments because I care and I want to thank you for taking the time to tell us your feelings and experiences. It's customers like you that help us see what needs changing. If you want a very important person and I say this with sincerity, call your local district manager or email this concern to the corporate office. Not every complaint can be immediately corrected or changed but unless the decision makers know there is a problem there will be no changes. The receipt problem is something I have heard more than once. I hope you come back to us.
failure to take care of customer in the pharmacy ahead of others
I waited 45 minutes for the h1n1 vaccine while people who came in after me had prescriptions filled. I was the only one waiting when all this started. When I complained about the wait and the discourtesy, the pharmacist YELLED at me. I left, complained to the manager, and am now trying to complain to the home office. I will never set foot in any Walgreen's again. Wonder how she'll feel if I get swine flu and DIE because of her.

$3000. cash sweepstakes entry chance
At both of above sites, I received a receipt claiming a $3000.00 sweepstakes entry at www.walgreensfeedback.com to answer a few questions. This is "not" an authenic website address for this monthly sweepstakes for either store. I should receive credit for two receipts entered. (1) survey [protected], password [protected] and(2)
survey [protected], password [protected]. This constitute false advertising. Since I have submitted surveys before, I am very disappointed to spend so much time notifying you of your error. Please answer in due fashion soon.

I thought it was a rip off because I shop at walgreens all the time and I 've done the survey so many times and never won any thing or received nothing for all the perscriptions and merchandise perchased. I know its a rip off!
I thought it was a rip off because I Shop at Walgreen in Mobile all the time and I have done thi survey so may times and never received as much as a free coupon. Dorothy Allen in Mobile Alabama
i went to do the survey tha same ### happen to me walgreen is a liar whit the sweepstakes and batya is toothface
I tried on 1/1/2010 to take the survey online. I went to Walgreens website and put in the information.
I answered only three questions and then the screen would not move forward.
A message repeated that I should answer the question. I had answered the question. I tried to clear
the screen but it would not allow me to do that and put in the answer. It was stuck!
Your site needs to be checked, because I got stuck on the survey answer.
I tried to clear it so I could go onto the next question but it did not move forward.
I tried to clear the survey screen several times and nothing happened. It was stuck!
What is the problem with your survey site? I think its very unfair, that I want have the chance to enter to win the $3, 000 cash sweepstakes. Is there really a cash sweepstakes to win? Walgreen's should have computer techs. to check these sites for survey
customers. I have been going to Walgreen's but I think I will go less. I don't have this problem at the other
pharmacy's website your competitor. (This took place in South Bend, Indiana) Please give this problem your attention. Thank you.
I to just tried to get in to the survey on 12/20/09, this is not the first time it happened to me my survey # is0634-0329-408. what is the problem? (Tullahoma Tn.)

walgreens is a great store all the employees treat you so nice it makes you want to go back to walgreens. They wait for you when you take out your money with patience and don't rush you. They talk to you nicely without snaping at you. That's why I go to walgreens almost every day even when it snows because I know I'll be warm and get treated great.

I cannot find where to enter the $3, 000 cash sweepstakes when going to www.walgreensfeedback.com This is NOT a people friendly site. I guess you are better off calling [protected] within 72 hours.

i was in your store on 3 different occasions. the first time went up to front cashier to ask cashier about the h1n1 shot, i seen a sign that was posted outside the store. cashier made as if she did not know what i was talking about, she did'nt try calling pharmarcy or the manager to find out. i ended up telling her that's alright, and went some where else to get my shot.

I work for Walgreens too and I agree to some of the things that goes inside Walgreens ( behind the scenes issues). Managers are least approachable and always their are unfairness among employees. Some employees who are Managers sycophant gets away with everything verses people who speaks the truth are in managers bad list. Some policies of Walgreens like bag checks to employees is so unfair treatment for employees who worked their for the longest years of their lives. The managements ask the employee to do a bag check if they bought something at Walgreens even after they are clocked out from work, this is disrespectful and unfair treatment to the employees. First of all they have to wait for management to come up at front ( which could take half an hour or more) and then ask their receipt to check it off in the log. If employees are clocked out and they shop at Walgreens after work, They should be equally treated like Walgreens Customer. If Managers are told about the unfairness, they have only one say, it is by the District, call them about the issue or tell them about the policies, the managers or management of the stores has nothing to do with. Who are we going to take our issues to ? District are not even approachable, they could take years for voices to be heard, so what is the solution, Employees Quitting Their job, Is this What Walgreens are Good For, making employess get frustrated and drag them to quit their JOB?
store complaint
In my experience, Walgreens is a a fairly common and reliable store. It has become somewhat of a symbol in many communities of quality products. It would be good to be able to say the same of the service in most cases.
I have had primarily positive experiences with Walgreens, in general. However, my experience on 11/30/09 in the Chicago store at 6315 S. Kedzie, was the worst shopping experience I've ever had in a Walgreens location.
This was literally the second time I'd been in this store and the shelves were practically bare. Items I'd normally purchase at any other Walgreens location were not there.
I went ahead and bought the couple items I settled for. The attitudes I caught by both employees at the register nearly made me drop my potential purchases and walk out.
I would have considered complaining to the manager about my unsatisfactory experience except, the dissatisfaction was with him (Pete, according to the name) the Store's Manager!
I could barely believe it, both the manager and the employee at the checkout registers acted as if I was doing them some sort of a favor by shopping there. They were just as disgruntled as they come, and acted as if they couldn't ring out my purchases quick enough, in order for me to get out.
The attitudes of these two employees were so disturbing that I deliberately went back to the store on 12/2/09, just to get a receipt to fill out the store survey online and submit how horrible these individuals made me feel as a customer.
The slight chance that I would go back to this store, I rated as a 3 and that would only be if I went during the hours that I did on 12/2 to receive service from the cashier that assisted me.
The reality is that I will never shop this particular store again. It also makes me question why service such as this is tolerated in a Walgreens. Thank you for allowing my feedback.

The Walgreens I go to is located on Atwells Ave in Prov R.I. Every week there is something in the flyer for sale and it is never available. I wait all week to see if it comes in and it doesn't.When I confronted the manager she was anything but nice and told me that the flyer was for all the stores and they might not get it. Well, CVS also advertises and it's also nationwide and their products are available. I feel like I am stuck in this situaton because I do not drive and Walgreen's is in walking distance to my home. I teally don't think for one minute the products are not available on the first day of sale and it is a matter of very poor mangement. Too bad for me it isn't a cvs I live near.
time wasted
I have used Walgreens pharmacies for several years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I call in my prescriptions and allow time for them to be filled. Much of the time, as I enter the drive-thru, a person has chosen to delay others from picking up their items by presenting the assistant with their prescription as they drive up. As cars line up behind me, I'm having to wait 15 to 20 min. One of the Walgreens here in Tulsa asks persons presenting prescriptions to drive on thru - park - and come back thru the line in 10 min. I would think this would be a good policy for all Walgreens. Thanks for taking care of this matter.

I have this same situation at my Walgreens. People drive up, present their prescriptions and wait. I believe the pharmacist should ask them to drive around and give them 10 minutes at least. It's really inconsiderate that some people think they are the only one waiting. Maybe post a sign that the wait time will be... whatever. Thanks.
Walgreens does an excellent job and I'm usually there every week for something, but as they do many prescriptions, there should be a way to handle some of these customers.
Thanks.

walgreens needs more grocery items in their stores.
this is incredibly frustrating. i think it's a fraudulent and non-existent sweepstakes. i do however think they're trying to get free feedback from customers. i like their stores and personnel -- but as usual, the corporate ladder is sucky here as with any corporation.
