Systemic and unfair employee transfers and termination
I am an extremely frequent and loyal shopper at your Destrehan, La location and was very saddened to learn yet another good employee has been terminated. Her name is Gina. What was so extreme that she was terminated, but other employees with several infractions remain. For instance Nicole. What ever happened to warning like Nicole got but was never terminated. You all transferred Ms. Nelly, who was one awesome and friendly manager that interacted with her customers which we as customers appreciate. It seems as though you are pushing folks out to put others of choice in. There should be the same consequences for everyone

Phone Prompt to pick up prescriptions: March 21, 2023
Interaction Date: March 27, 2023
Event: Walked in to pick up prescriptions for myself and my husband. Pharm Tech asked for name and birthdate. I was told that the prescripts were NOT ready to be picked up. I stated I got the auto dialer notification. Pharm Tech checked inventory again. Male "Floater Pharmacists" interacted w/Pharm. Tech questioning her actions. Pharmacists snapped aloud to female Pharm. Tech that "they just got called in THIS morning." I stated I was phone called to no avail. I then asked to pick up my husband's meds. Pharm Tech looked and then asked me what the dosage was. I stated I do not know the dosage but knew it was Atorvastatin. She refused to give it to me w/out know the dosage. I have never been asked that all these years.
Second Occurrence Date; March 29, 2023.
Event: I called in advance to confirm my meds and my husband's were ready to be picked up. Told yes. I spoke w/the female Pharmacist the night prior to get the price and discuss the coupon voucher for Trulicity. Female Pharmacist stated my voucher was Expired. I called Primary Doctor and they renewed it. I called the Manufacturer and they informed me that the Pharmacist just has to "Over-ride" the computer. Upon walk-in, Pharm Tech asked for ID and stated the Trulicity was $277. When I asked her if she checked the voicemail and got the info. regarding the Manufacturer and Primary instructions. She di dnot answer. She begrudgingly entered data into the computer and came back to the counter to tell me it was NOW $377 some odd more! I questioned the Pharm Tech w/no response. At that point my husband and myself have gone without our meds for 12 days! I had enough and stated as much. Just charge me what I was initially quoted of $277. I was out of there. A different "Float Pharmacist" (term told to me by female night Pharmacists...Floaters come in on Mondays & Tuesdays)..had mixed words with the Tech and told her he "would take are of it". It felt like an uncomfortable situation and interaction with them too. With my coupon voucher from the Manufacturer all these years, I normally pay $25 with United Healthcare Insurance. Now I was paying more then twice the amount!
Third Occurrence Date: April 1, 2023.
Event: Primary called in another order of Antibiotics to Pharm on March 29th.
I called before heading to Winn Dixie Pharmacy to make sure it was ready and obtain the amount. The "Pharm Tech IN-TRAINING" {How she answered the phone] answered and quickly put me on hold. A male picked up five minutes later and asked my ID info, short and bluntly. The abruptly hung up the phone.
Concern: The Pharmacy and Technicians behind the counter are unfriendly, short and abrasive in person and on the phone. The customer service is lacking and a discredit to the store itself. The surrounding public goes there for convenience and quality, price of products. Should the Store Standard also extend to the Pharmacy services? I request Customer Service and Dept. have additional training therein.

Meat Dept. Salerno Rd., Stuart, Fl.
On March 24 approx. 3p.m. I went shopping at your Winn-Dixie for groceries and waited for your weekend sale for Tenderloin $7.99 lb. When I got there there was none. Talked to the butcher and he said they were not delivered. He said I could get a rain check. When I went to customer service, the dept. had changed to the front of the store with 1 register. People were there with shopping carts full of groceries despite the fact you had installed self check outs (good for you) I waited about 10 min. in line but the girl checkout was alone and one customer had a problem, so I left. May I suggest that the one register only deal with problems, lottery tickets and rain checks. Seafood/meat department
On March 21 at 6:52pm I was standing at the seafood department waiting for assistance. There was a customer ahead of me, so I was waiting to be next. The employee completely ignored myself, and the other customer he had a look on his face that was very ugly. I figured that the customer a head of me had upset him or something but I found out that was not the case. He continue to ignore her and literally push her and her children out of the way with the push cart to put away the seafood. So I asked the customer are you waiting for help? She said yes, he has completely ignored me while he’s standing in front of both of us so I asked the employee was he close he ignored me and I asked again he said closed! I responded so we can’t get any service and is steal food out he said no! I immediately went to the front of the store and ask for a manager. She went to the back to see what was going on and she told him to give the young lady her fish. He proceeded to throw the fish in the bag in front of the manager. I told her I did not want my shrimp anymore and I would be back in the morning to speak with a manager. She was acting manager.
Desired outcome: I do not desire for people to lose their job, but he definitely is in the wrong position to serve people. maybe he should move to a department where he doesn’t have to have contact with people he do not desire.

3/05/23 8:30 I looked for a open register there there was not one open. only self-checkout. the woman that was just standing there was very rude and gave dirty looks when asked why there was no open lanes. so being that I am disabled I checked out at self-checkout, and I broke my pinky checking out (red swollen & crooked (see pic). I got home but Ice on called my doctor he said go to care 1 one. there Xray was down so they sent me to bravura heath they did Xray finger is broken at joint near tip of pinky finger. have splint on pinky. have to see hand surgeon.

I know you spent a lot of money on renovating this store and it's beautiful one of the best ever that I've been in. It is across from Publix and before renovation you had the worst people and mgt. there so very rarely did I shop in your store. Once renovated I tried it and seemed like clean cut employees, store in stock, signed and in stock on everything. IT IS SLOWLY SLIPPING DOWN TO IT'S PREVIOUS SELF. Two weeks ago I shopped your frozen bakery and 90% no exaggeration, was not priced? So I decided not to purchase but to go to Entermanns donuts BOGO . Not only were they marked BOGO but NO STOCK and mgr. hadn't a clue? Many other items too many to mention here. I went over it and manager played dumb. I would have fired her on the spot. I would think being in stock and having signage and proper pricing is imperative. TODAY AGAIN, BOGO on Entermanns donuts and yes, in stock but NO BOGO SIGN. AGAIN, NO PRICING ON 90% OF THE FROZEN BAKERY ITEMS. I wanted sale item lobster tails and only had two out. Bought the two and nobody replaced them so another item on sale and nothing on the floor for the next person. Unless something changes, I rather pay higher PUBLIX prices and NOT GET AGGRIVATED then shop your store. Please respond because last letter I never got acknowledged that it was received. I would like this letter to go to top MGT. I would think they would be very interested in this feedback. thanks

For the past 3 months I have a prescription from my doctor to get the prescription for Oxycodone HCL 15 mg. They only give me sometimes a partial script for 14 tablets or a partial for 40 and my script is for 120 tablets. Then I have to wait for 10-14 days for the rest of script to come in. When they do this, it causes me trouble. Then I have to go back to the doctor minus the pills I did receive and get another script. They said it was because of 3 pharmacists have quit in the last 3 months and they have to order manually. Then they said it was a supply and demand issue. This tells me that this medication is not ordered on time so there won't be a gap in me getting my medication on time. When I don't have my medication, it makes me have really bad withdrawals and I can't leave the house (doc appts., job, etc.) What needs to be done on your end to rectify this situation? Order substitution
On the 27th, at 9-10pm, my delivery order came with 4 substitution items, even though I deselected allow for substitution at checkout. I expected to receive 5 orders of jumbo shrimp but they sent me only 1 jumbo, 4 medium. As of today, on the 28th, the jumbo shrimp is still in stock on the website. I tried to contact them online, but the contact us service does not work and keeps popping error message.

I just had a very unpleasant exchange with a very rude young man, Brandon, who claimed to be the Manager at the Winn Dixie, S. Pasadena, Florida. He was argumentative and downright rude. He started off by accusing me of having already spoken to several other people about my complaint, when this just happened today and he was the first person I had spoken to.
He told me they cannot provide a refund with no receipt - who keeps grocery receipts after they get the groceries home? And also said, how do they know I bought the product from them - surely the bar code can confirm that? Or at the very least, you could contact the manufacturer since you carry the product.
I have never in my life encountered such a bad attitude from someone supposedly working in service.
Bottom line is I bought a can of Jack's Catch steamed cooked crab meat, with a Best Before date of 2023 but today noticed the can is bloated, and looks about to explode, which is dangerous.
Bad seafood can be fatal so I am understandably upset at this, we could have eaten it.
Desired outcome: A refund for the item, it was expensive and should not be tainted.

Many of us go to the Winn-Dixie where the robbery occurred and we’re very concerned for the young ladies that were injured so badly there was a GoFundMe page set up for them. Your employee Kristi Jasper, however, is going on an app called next-door in our neighborhood and telling people that the employees are fine and dismissing the sympathetic competent comments that people are making we told her she probably should shut her mouth and not speak for the store. You should probably contact her because when she does that it makes people give less to the go fund me.

Tried to transfer my prescriptions and was told they can not take them because one was a narcotic and I have state medicaid insurance. Pharmacist said they have as many customers as they can take getting a narcotic. I have never heard of a Company refusing businessss. Please note Im a disabled and in excruciating pain daily and Im a senior. Guess that doesnt matter. Will not buy even a piece of gum from any Winn Dixie store ever again.

My wife Called the pharmacy to transfer back her prescription. The lady said we had to call the other pharmacy to transfer. We call the other pharmacy to be told the new pharmacy has to call and transfer. So we call back to winn Dixie and a man answered. Basically told us the total opposite of what th lady said. He explained he needed to resubmit the transfer not us. After he explained that. my wife had asked to transfer and there is no transfer. What a joke. So I go to the counter and explain to John that I was on the phone when you said you would take care of everything now nothing has been done. For a college educated guy you are not that smart.
