woolworths basmati rice 1kg
I purchased This product on the 22/07/19
As I was pouring the product out of the packaging some very hard plastic came out.
I just thought I would inform you about this.in case it needs to be recalled.
As I have small children whom devour their food and this could of been stuck in there throat.
I am very happy with Woolworths and will continue to shop there I just thought I would make this known.
Thank you for listening.

Firstly I have worked in the Hotel industry for 27 years and I love it and I currently Manage a Bottle Shop, about 2 weeks ago at the Woree BWS Bottle Shop in Cairns I was served by a man don't know his name a bit older in his 50s I think...so I asked for beer and I queried the price, Immediately he swore at me so I approached the counter asking that he is charging me to much and please don't swear at me, he continued to swear at me and disagree on the price I said I will go somewhere else and was told I don't [censored]en care go somewhere else...so I again calmly asked the price and finally he said he made a mistake but was still very angry towards me saying he hates Woolworth's and his job. I am completely disgusted with his behaviour and people like that do not deserve to be in the Hotel industry and obviously at this stage I will never shop there again. Please feel free to contact me on [protected] or [protected]@yahoo.com, Regards Chris.

online shopping
Many times that I've ordered online at Woolworths in Sebastopol, I receive emails saying products are out of stock. I then go into the store to find the products there. Today I found the three products at the supermarket that they claim to out of stock.
This is continuously happening and it is very frustrating.
I would like to know how this can be changed in the future? Do staff need for their training about where stock belongs?
I alway click the box that says replace with a similar item, however this doesn't happen either.
I very rarely complain and have never put a complaint in, however, I am becoming extremely frustrated. My preference in Woolworths but feel I may need to try coles out in the future
new product - veal schnitzel meat
Woolworths - Floreat, Western Australia
I purchased 17/7/2019 a product nominated as veal schnitzel meat, cut into 8 thin slices, advertised as a new product.
The meat was displayed as Veal.I purchased the meat to make veal scallopini for dinner, I further tenderised the 8 thinly sliced pieces of meat.
Cooked the meat in butter on a hot pan briefly
The meat was very tough to cut and not pleasurable to eat, not like normal veal.

Hate going through self check outs but as store was busy, decided to line up. When it was my turn it was the first terminal that I used. I only had 3 items costing $8.50. I paid cash and did not get receipt printed. As I was leaving the store through the door I heard a voice yell out excuse me. I thought was she talking to me. I thought I may have left something behind. But no she said have you paid for those. Being 2 loaves of bread and a courier mail. I said of course I did. She said I just came straight through the check outs. I said what else was I supposed to do once I had finished and paid. I showed her the terminal and told her to check transactions. I felt she still did not believe me.
After leaving the store I was shaken and very upset. I came back in and told her I was not happy at being accused of stealing and embarrassing me in front of everyone. She said again she did not see me use a check out and it did not matter. This really upset me as I said it did matter to me. She apologised but this was not genuine and felt she still did not believe me. I felt very embarrassed as this was my local store and have lived in this area for 42 years. I feel I cannot use this store anymore and therefore will now do all of my shopping at Coles. I know this happens where people do take items even trolley fulls but I had stood in line and used correct procedures to purchase items. You need to put on more staff in busy times in self checks so they can keep an eye on what is going on instead of falsely accusing people of not paying. My family are also not happy with how I was treated.

I had ducked into Woolworths at Morisset to get an avocado and a loaf of bread and proceeded to the express checkout, the young chap attending this area was servicing at the front counter with cigarettes, I was waiting for 3 to 4 minutes which wasn't a problem, then one off your lady staff members { Dianne Deaves} walks another lady with a large basket of groceries which should have gone to a main checkout straight in front of me and proceeded to unload her groceries onto the checkout, the lady with the groceries did not look happy with pushing in front of me and the young fellow behind the counter looked a little uneasy asswell, I said you have to be joking, placed the items I was about to purchase on the counter and walked out and will not return.
Regards
Ian Sanderson.
PS I used to shop here regularly, Groceries and BWS never again
checkouts
We went into your Beerwah store at 5.27pm Saturday 11th July and the service was bad we had to line up for ages as there was only 2 open for people with large orders. The checkouts with small purchases was all up and running and the self served was also packed, there was another 3 checkouts not up and running for large orders. I spent $86.38 which I will not be spending there again until you fix your customer service in your Beerwah store, your all happy to get us into the store but not happy on provide service to get out with out standing there for ages. Who ever is running the checkouts should be calling team up to jump on to clear the line ups. Obviously your competition what's the sales more than you do there service is a lot better.
online order cancelled by woolworths due to computer system error.. no refund
On the 4th july 2019 I placed my usual fortnightly shopping via woolworths online
This time however there was an issue with a coupon/voucher code which was supplied to me by woolworths. (scqdi-zd-yhk). When I went through the online checkout my order was swapped from delivery to pickup. Order number was [protected] (I never use pickup - always delivery) I contacted the help line who advised it was simple process to swap it back to delivery which was a new order number of [protected]. This however proved to be another issue as the computer would not process the order. As a result of this my order could not be confirmed as being placed after many attempts, even an attempt to pay an extra $10 with my credit card. My order was cancelled by woolworths my bank account has been debited an amount of $512.88 and then a further $10 both on 4th july. I was informed to contact my bank to seek a release of the funds back to my account which turned out to be misleading information. I have no shopping I have no money to get any more. I have a wife and 3 kids on a single income with no food to get me through now. It has now been 7 days since this occurance and I still am yet to get any refund of the full amount owing to me. Can someone please contact me about this asap and advise me on the situation. I am currently in communication with a ombudsman but I wish for you to contact me before I have to take this matter further. I await your reply
Kind regards

expired food being sold and at full price!
I went to your Warwick store today (I try not to go to Warwick Woolies as Coles is there too and way better quality) but was down that end of the shop and thought would grab a quick meal for my 3 year old as didn't have time to cook tonight. All the Coco brand MAC Cheese and bangers and Mash were out of date by 2 months and being sold at full price.
I told the lady at the Deli section and she agreed that it was "terrible" I asked if any fresh ones out back they said no.
They got someone over to look at situation but no solution was offered to me.
Every time I try Warwick woolies again I am always disappointed! The quality is terrible and store is old and dirty! You really need to lift your game!
Whitfords store is good but Warwick is TERRIBLE! Everyone in my network says the same too...
product availability
I have previously bought the following products and now find they are no longer available in my local stores including Park Ridge, Browns Plains and Logan Village QLD. In a climate where we should have more options to eco friendly products, this has been disappointing to see.
Products not available:
Eco store fabric softener
Greener baking paper
I also specifically go to Coles for the Tooshie brand of nappies because there are no eco friendly options at Woolworths.
unethical business practice through pricing deception
For the last two years I have been shopping at Woolworths Midland Gate. I generally buy the same products and am therefore know the prices for each item I buy. It has been evident in the last few months, that Woolworths has been engaging in misleading pricing.
For example, on a number of the items I buy, the price has gone up buy 20% and then a special sign goes up saying it is discounted by 20%. A disgusting practice trying to dupe the customer! This has happened on may occasions and many items I buy. I have no doubt that this happens right across the board on all items!
Furthermore, my suspicions are confirmed when I raise this with the staff. They not only confirm this is happening, but are embarrassed about it. They tell me" our store manager tells us to put the price up then put then advertise the discount and we say that isnt right, he says, just do it nobody will realise"
Another disgusting practice whereby Woolworths is demanding their staff undertake against their will, unethical pricing practices by trying to deceive their customers. Shame on you!
I speak with the staff at the store on my visits and they are not satisfied employees and this practice is one reason why they do not enjoy working there. No doubt the fat cats up in the corporate world of Woolworths need to sustain profits at all costs including unethical business practices to appease the shareholder.
More profits mean the fat cats in corporate/board level get to keep their multi million dollar salaries and their bonus/incentives. You are disgusting individuals!
As of this moment, I will do my best to inform people about your unethical practice and I will never walk back into a Woolworths store ever again! Not one cent from my pocket will the fat cats receive, nor their unsuspecting shareholders will ever again profit from my custom.
Woolworths is a toxic organisation whereby profits come first and then the fat cats at corporate, come second and all at the expense of the most important and fundamental requirement of a successful business, the customer.
Good riddance to you Woolworths, you are a putrite
mouldy bread
On Saturday July 6 I purchased a loaf of Alpine Super Natural Protein Bread 680g.
When I got home I noticed that the end crust of bread was growing mould. On further inspection I found that the use by date on the bread was 3.7.19, 3 days out of date.
I returned the bread to the supermarket & got a full refund of $5.70.
When I pointed out the mould to the cashier she replied " oh that's just pin [censored]s" I pointed out that the bread was 3 days beyond it's use by date & should not have been on the shelf. Her response that it was not the fault of Woolworths it was the fault of the "reps" I found this to be a staggering response and said that it was a Woolworths shop that was selling this product, in my opinion Woolworths should accept the responsibility.
I thought Aldi was the shop with the mouldy products, seems not. At least Aldi accepts responsibility.
service store 1958 greystanes pls 010 trans 1960 11am 6/7/19
Hi i'm not only am I embarrassed with the service I recieved but ABSOLUTELY APPALLED that the cashier at greystanes store yelled at the top of her voice can I check your bag before even scanning my shopping. I smiled while asking her any reason love glady showing her the contents inside my hand bag. Much to my surprise I was ignored I then asked again with no reply I answered "No reason? store protocol?" she then replied without looking at me "No reason we are checking all customer bags" what a DISGRACE. The store was busy and I do not recall witnessing other customers having any bags searched.

motor vehicle insurance customer service
On Thursday 27/6/19 I contacted Woolworths insurance to advise you that I was taking possession of a new vehicle the following day. I advised the CS team member that I wanted to transfer my current policy to the new vehicle. After waiting 22 mins I was finally put through to a CS team member and a pleasant young lady proceeded to process my request. About 10 min later, I was told that there was a glitch in the system and all information had been lost and we had to start all over. The young lady proceeded to reprocess my request. I then asked her to confirm that my current vehicle would still be covered till at least 2pm the following day and the new vehicle would take over then (on the same day). To my surprise, I was then advised that I would need to take up a new policy on the new vehicle and the existing policy would be cancelled the following day (after I took possession of the new vehicle) as they could not overlap. My immediate thoughts were "really?" as I've not encountered this issue previously when replacing vehicles. Anyway we finally got to the end of the transaction - 60 mins after I initially made the call. 60 minutes to finalise a transaction is appauling and extremely poor customer service. I don't blame the CS member, I believe she hasn't had sufficient training. The fault lay with team leaders and mangers. I must also add that I had similar CS issues with Woolworths last year. 3 very long and convoluted phone calls required to answer a very simple question. (Please feel free to check the history of my calls). I am also waiting for my new policy documents to be sent through to me MOT107984326. Please ensure these documents get to me before the cooling off period expires as I am very disappointed with Woolworths and not sure I wish to stay with you. I would also like to point out that I sent through a complaint last Thursday but have yet to hear back. Please have someone call me on [protected] within the next 7 days. If I don't hear back from someone - I may just have to put a post on FB -Regards Anne Di Maria
scam
Hello, my parents recently have fallen for a scam which involved a Woolworths Facebook page. It directed them to call a 1900 number as they could win $500-$1000 worth of groceries. They are on an aged pension so thought this would help out. It ended up being a scam and they realised this when they got their phone bill which is normally $60/month but was $342 for the month. I would like to know if there is anything you can give them to help as they cannot afford to pay this and are devastated that they fell for a scam where they were only trying to help their situation. I've contacted Telstra who advised it is best to contact you to see if a refund or vouchers could be provided to them. I can arrange a copy of their phone bill as proof if requested as it lists the numbers called. My Dad thought it was costing him $0.55/ call. He called 5 times hoping to win, its ended up costing him $270. He is embarrassed. I'm hopeful you can restore their faith that you are a good company. Thankyou
the way I was dealt with at customer service at woolworths lane cove yesterday
Yesterday I lined up at the customer service desk at about 4pm with my three year old daughter to pick up my shopping order. I waited something like ten minutes in a queue of about 6 people. When I got to the front of the line the female service attendant turned away to briefly speak to someone else. When she turned back she proceeded to serve someone who had walked up behind me and ignored me. I pointed out I had been in the queue for 10 minutes and was next in line. She said "This man has been waiting half an hour". "This man" had not been in the queue whilst I was there and I had not seen him before. She continued to serve him and ignore me. I suspect he was friend or an acquaintance of hers. I complained to the store manager and he quite clearly thought I was a nutcase and did not take my complaint seriously. Should I just shop at Coles from now on?

people running through store to buy formula
I was at Woolworths Sunnybank just after 7 am when I arrived I saw several trolleys lined up along the entrance with big storage bags in them
Customers were buying formula 2 at a time as they are limited to that running through the store paying then running out to put these 2 into there trolleys then back in for 2 more and this went on the number of customers grew while I was there
A staff member had to stand by the formula shelf telling people not to run.
Why are they allowing this if the limit is 2
The limit is 2.
They are clearly buying slot more then that a lot more.
Is this a case of Woolworths needing those sales if so then why have a limit
At least you wo u lent have people running past others in the shop at 7 am.
service
Iv been shopping at woollies for over 20 years but today is my last I would rather go any where then Woolworths.your smartarse employee I asked where something was and he sent me to the wrong section so I went back and stood there like an idiot while he and another co-worker stood there talking about the girl that they scored with with colourful language then finally I said that product wasn't in that section and the response back was well what do you want me to do about it.so every Woolworths shops I will never walk into ever again no wonder why masters went broke and big w is struggling because apparently your customers don't mean [censored] to you
