poor customer service
Good Evening
Today I visited Woolworths in Victoria Park Perth WA.. (15th October)
I went through the express lane check out area which even though there were 3 girls behind the counter only one was serving as the others where chatting. When they finally decided to stop talking and call me through the girl was rude, as i payed with my card she didn't even acknowledge the final transaction and wait for my purchase to finalize so she could give me a receipt instead to totally ignore me and pick up her phone and start reading it and texting. The other girl standing next to her decided to get the receipt and as i was about to walk off held it up to see if i wanted it.
As I was so annoyed and upset at the service I just looked at her and walked off without taking the receipt, which I regret now as it would of had the transaction details and the name of the rude girl that served me. This is not the first time i have come across inattentive, rude staff here and I today I thought whether is goes anywhere or not I will be letting you know my disappointment. We are paying customers and if the staff cant get off there phones for 5 minutes to serve a customer or pull themselves away from chatting they should not be at the front serving...
That was most certainly not an express lane today and not from being busy but the unprofessional staff attending the check outs there.

product
I have always used your clumping kitty litter and very disappointed in the change of the product. The clumping factor doesn't happen anymore and just sticks to the tray. Unfortunately I will be swapping to Coles now as their clumping kitty litter is a much better product. Because of this i will be doing all of my shopping at coles im the future.
Thank you Rena Teal
ruffie rustic foods product copy of email sent to company
I'm not in the habit of writing to companies but I was that disappointed with your product I feel I need to inform you of my dissatisfaction.
I purchased from the Woolworth store in Leeton NSW your Sweet potato, feta, spring onion and caraway seed Frittata.
As an 84 year old sole pensioner, I purchase a lot of the frozen dinners sold by Woolworth rather than cook myself. On this occasion I had a visitor who is a vegetarian (I'm not myself). I saw your product and it seemed a good idea to use this as the base for the meal plus cooking the other vegetables myself. I had prepared all the other items then all I needed to do was heat up your product. Read the instructions. That was when my problems started. It said to turn it out of the foil and place it on the upturned foil in the oven. I wonder if you have ever tried to turn one of them out of the foil. After attempt after attempt it would not come out. eventually the whole middle fell out in a mess, with the remaining outer edge still frmly fixed to the foil. There was no way could I serve this mess up to my guest. The result was having to take them out to dinner, an expense I could have well done without being on a pension.
The foil container needs redesigning as the indentations around the base makes the contents cling to the foil
One very disappointed customer
David Boyd. 8 Packham St Leeton NSW 2705
I had the same problem with this product. The instructions call for removing the frittata from the foil tray, which resulted in it falling apart due to poor design. I'd take this mess of a thing back to Woolworths, but I didn't think to keep the proof of purchase for a bloody instant meal. Even just the fact that they've made it impossible to microwave it, makes this product a complete waste of time, as I couldn't eat it at work.

We had the same problem.
I purchased a Ruffie Rustic Foods Sweet Potato, Feta, Spring Onion & Caraway seeds Frittata from Woolworths at Q Centre Gold Coast QLD. I read the detailed Heating Instructions and tried to remove the Frittata from the foil tray. The edges were stuck to the foil tray. After a bit trying a variety of ways to get the edges away from the tray the base was then stuck to the bottom of the tray. I gave up and heated the Frittata in the tray. After heating I still could not remove the Frittata from the tray. We enjoyed the flavour of the Frittata, but it was challenging to eat it out of the tray. It would have been more enjoyable if the tray could be removed from the Frittata and the Frittata could have been plated and easier to eat.
rat poo in crumpets
I bought a packet of crumpets from Woolworths here in Townsville, not sure which branch as i've just moved here but i can find out. It was a week ago. I opened the packet and there was a huge rat poo embedded in the underside of one of the crumpets - plainly left their after cooking and prior to packaging. I have placed the crumpet and poo in my freezer.
Hello I wish to air some complaints towards Woolworth's specifically not an a specific store.
But will say that my local store is St Mary's NSW.
I watch the web site and see that there are some new Gluten Free products on the page, but sadly I can not get these products in my local store, so a few weeks ago I called the store I spoke to department manager I asked can these products be added to the stores range I was told it is up to Head office as per what products are ranged in store.
This I find as an annoying situation because when I try using the purchase and pick up I get told that certain items are not available from my pick up store, yet they are listed on a generic web site that covers Woolworth's stores in general.
So in my frustration I thought I called ask the store to arrange but as I said I was told no.
Six months ago I was a Cole's exclusive customer now I shop at both companies but where Woolworth's won my patronage was with Gluten free products especially the Free From range items like crisp Chips and Cheese Rings and Twist, cookie's and similar nibbles but now it seems apparent that Free From range is slowly being deleted so again my frustration is raised with poor product choices in store.
I believe that there should be dedicated aisle to gluten free where the whole range is kept in one aisle (and I mean the whole range including refrigerated and freezer chilled items plus fresh items) because trying to discover the items is the hardest part of shopping specially when you have a child in tow. But that is just my opinion
woodworths hoppers crossing
Without asking me, a checkout operator picked my coles shoppings from my coles shopping trolley and put it in Woolworths custody. When I asked him not to touch my stuff that I've bought from coles, he said you are not allowed in Woolworths with the coles shopping trolly along with coles shopping.
Without seeing me or without checking CCTV footage, he put alligation on me that I've swapped the coles stuff with Woolworths stuff. I showed him my COLES RECEIPT OF PURCHASE. I asked them to first check your CCTV footage then speak to customer. After that they checked footage and let me go without saying sorry for holding me in store for half an hour at 12 am MIDNIGHT even though I've receipt for purchase from COLES.👎👎👎👎👎👎woolies👎👎👎👎👎👎
How ridiculous customer service they provide. I would never ever go there again. They don't bother to apologise for their mistakes for holding customer for half an hour at MIDNIGHT.
poor service delivery
Delivery order #[protected]
Saturday evening delivery at approximately 19:00 at 11A Anderson Road, Mortdale, NSW, 2223.
I have been using Woolworths online delivery since January 2019. As a full time working mother with a back injury, I require the delivery person to deliver the groceries to our kitchen bench.
I have always had very positive experiences from all the staff delivering our groceries. They are usually polite, efficient and I have always felt comfortable having Woolworths employees enter my home for this purpose.
This evening the experience was really awkward and I felt really uncomfortable when the Woolworths staff member entered my home. I greeted him politely and then requested him to bring the groceries to the kitchen bench. He brought in a few bags and there were still a large amount of groceries waiting on the floor just outside the front door.
He walked past me and said: "Are you ok to bring those in?" He did not ask it in a way that I felt was respectful, more assuming that it is part of my job. I politely declined by saying: "No, I need you to do it"
I signed and thanked him and greeted him. This person did not make eye contact or greet me properly when he left.
I did not take his details, however, please address this issue. I reflected afterwards thinking that it was really cheeky for him to expect me to do part of his job for him when the instructions were very clear from the start.
This has been such an awkward scenario that I prefer this person not delivering groceries to my house again. Please let me know if and in which manner this matter will be addressed.
Kind regards
Anthea Nagel

luscious chai latte woolworths brand
I loved the previous Woolworths Chai Latte (10 sachets in a 250 g box). However the new Woolworths Chai Latte doesn't taste all that good, I won't be buying any more.
When I was recently in New Zealand, I LOVED the Woolworths Chai Latte there, probably even better than the old Australia Woolworths Chai Latte.
Is there any chance of either going back to the previous Australian Woolworths Chai Latte OR switching to the New Zealand Woolworths Chai Latte? Please, can you change from the new Woolworths Chai Latte?
Your Sincerely
Lyn Hames
woolworths sebastopol victoria employees behaviour
Hi,
My name is Denise Botheras

Mobile [protected]
My niece Tahlia Pring works at Woolworth Sebastopol. My siblings (one being Tahlia's mother) have a personal vendetta against me due to me and 3 of my cousins charging my father (Tahlia's pop) with tampering to which he pleaded guilty.
I have always shopped at Woolworths Sebastopol but since Tahlia has worked there I don't go there very often due to having security all cameras called when I am in the store and she is working.
I have been in the store when Tahlia is not working and there are no security calls.
I have also spoken to some of the staff about this and they told me to report it which I replied I prove it is her and they agreed.
The final straw was on the 1st or 2nd October 2018. I went there to do my shopping and Tahlia was working at the self serve area (I'm not sure if she was in charge that day) She saw me enter the store, within about 5 minutes there was a Security calls all cameras. I was down near the Deli and there was a 2nd call for Security all cameras when I saw Tahlia running/not walking down one of the isles, she got to the end of the isle and turned to face the front of the store with her fists clenched by her side, she turned and saw where I was then ran back up the isle to the smoke counter.
Then there was a 3rd security call all cameras almost immediately. I felt like just putting my shopping down and leave the store, to go to Coles where I have been doing most of my shopping lately due this happening. I then decided no I haven't done anything wrong, so I proceeded to the register to pay for my things (seriously hoping that someone would ask to look in my bag as it is A4 size but this did not happen).
There was male employee serving a customer before me when Tahlia came up to him with a large 20 pack of single chips which the packet of the chips had a large horse shoe size shape neatly cut out of the side of the packet, while he was still serving the customer in front of me, Tahlia approached the male employer saying something like you are going on your break now can you take this damaged item out the back. I didn't hear all of the male employees response to Tahlia but I did hear him say I'm not going out the back. She pushed the chip packet further along the register belt opposite the male employee and said don't worry about it ill get someone else to do it and left the chips there on that register and walked of.
The male employee had just finished serving the customer in front of me when Tahlia came back within minutes and grabbed the register closed sign to put on this register, while doing so she shoved my items forward and put the sign on the belt saying Oh I'm so sorry looked at my bag and walked off (very uncomfortable feeling but as I said before if there was a problem I would have been happy for her to look in my bag)
Then without a word of a lie within a minute she came back to pick up the green shopping basket I had used again looking at me.
There was another employee working that Bec (don't know her last name but she has worker there for years)I have always found Bec to be very nice and respectful to all customers including me)
I don't know what Tahlia had said to Bec on this particular day but as I was walking out the store Bec was working on the smoke counter serving a customer when Bec looked up saw me she stopped serving the customer for a brief moment and gave me a filthy look which was also very upsetting as I have never known Bec to do anything like that.
I am asking you to please take this matter seriously. I am also available to speak to anyone face to face about this matter.
I can also be contacted on my mobile [protected]
Can you also please contact me via my mobile with any outcome.

helgas gluten free wholemeal bread
Woolworths Customer service,
I have communicated to you before ( and Goodman Fielder/Helgas) regarding my, and others not being able to purchase Helgas Wholemeal Gluten Free bread because this product is regularly out of stock/not on the shelf.
I have enquired of the floor staff about the non-availability of this Helgas bread and been advised... It is out of stock... we do not order it... or the Helgas representative has not placed enough on the shelf.
Or, I am told by Helgas that insufficient was ordered by Woolworths ...Moruya. So my question is who is responsible for the monitoring of shelf stock levels.
Only on Wednesday last myself and another customer could not find this product on the shelf again. I have asked before and I ask again, do you realise that unless the likes of myself raise a complaint you would not be aware your customers have left Woolworths Moruya store without this product. You also would have no idea just how many, customers missed out on purchasing this product.
I can tell you now that I (and others it seems) prefer this brand and product as it is fresher, better tolerated than all other brands stocked in this store.
I have only recently spoken with the manager of this store and he advised me he would request for a greater stock level to be held on the shelf. To date, this has not happened, nor has he or others got back to me about my safety concerns as to the positioning of your container recycling facility in the car park.
I, therefore, would like some clarification on these matters, and an indication if you Woolworths or Goodman Fielder would be rectifying this situation where either the manufacturer or reseller of a very well accepted dietary line is going to commit to their professed commitments to full line marketing.
It really seems a great conundrum that a large manufacturer &/or reseller cannot make available routinely to all the public a staple food such as bread.
Thank you for your time.
I look forward to your favourable response.
Gordon Pryor
PS... I have sent this same email to Goodman Fielder
lack of customer service.
Submitted a complaint about their brand of scotch fingers months ago and did not receive any contact from anyone at Woolworths.
This is typical, not interested in customers because they are to busy looking after share holders. It just proves that we the customers are not on their radar.
Very poor attitude towards customers and complaints about their products.
knife broke while cutting cheese
Hello, I purchased this knife from Kyabram Safeway approx two weeks ago, I was using it to cut a slice of cheese from a block of Safeway cheese, the knife suddenly broke in my hand and I just narrowly missed my wrist and cutting myself severely. I obviously wasted my money buying this as I didn't keep a receipt even though I would appreciate compensation for the danger it put me in and the money I spent, but I am also very worried that other people could hurt them selves severely using this knife, thinking it is safe. Please look at the quality of products you are selling in your stores.
I would appreciate you getting back to me on what your course of action will be on this serious matter asap, as i thought I should put this on social media to warn people of the dangers of your product, but i am willing to let you have recourse first
Thank you John King
chicken mini fillets
Today 10/10/18 around 7pm we were at Bakewell shopping center deli section trying to buy the mini fillet which was going for 60% quick sale. I asked the service lady to give me 4kg of it. She then shows a PDA kind of device and said it's not working and she can't give the 60% off. Took off the sale sign. We didn't buy the item.
I cannot understand why she couldn't hand write or use the service desk or ask another device to give the sale price. Very surprised at it and also that she took off the quick sale sign!
Tried to call Bakewell Woolworths to ask for an explanation but after calling twice and repeating myself was asked to call again tomorrow.
Very disappointed at the poor service. I want the item at the price that was displayed at the deli section. Want an explanation for the staff behavior and your procedure when equipment does not work.
travel insurance
I have taken out a travel insurance policy again with you for 2019 (31/5--17/8 ) since then I have received an e-mail from Jared questioning the dependency policy. I had already informed him that I have no dependencies 21 years of age or under. I do not know why he has questioned this as I had a policy with you earlier this year and there were no hassles. The problem is that he has not got back to me. 3 times today I rang the 1300 number and after waiting for long periods each time I settled for giving my name so that somebody would ring me back. On each of the 3 times that they did each time I was placed back into the waiting queue. I gave up trying in the end because it was starting to cost me money and by then it was too late in the afternoon. I am not happy with the service ! Alan.
customer service
The young girl serving me today over packed my bags as a result I could not hold the handles on the bags to place in my trolley so I removed ed the weetbix box and loaf of bread that was protruding out and put back on the packing area, The young girl proceeded to throw my stuff around as result including the food and bags. When I asked her about she was rude. It happened on the 9th Oct 2018 on checkout 9 at about 9.00 am. Not impressed about the treatment especially since she was in the wrong.
vacuum packed meat
Well the 'Fresh Food People' are at it again. Most meat is now being packed in vacuumed bags to extend the shelf life of the meat. The meat looks dark, smells weird when the bag is opened but to top it all off Woolworths have increased the kilo price of the meat and have not listed the kilo price on the label, very sneaky! I went to buy Oyster Blade steak at the Mandurah WA store, it is now $20per kilo, it is normally $14.99 per kilo! No kilo pricing on the label but I found a very small sticker on the fridge shelf with the kilo price, like I said very sneaky. I am now going to shop at Coles, I can't abide all these sneaky price increases and lack of freshness in my meat purchases.
woolworths sea salt crackers sea salt 200g
Good Afternoon,
I often purchase the Woolworths Sea Salt Crackers Sea Salt 200g although yesterday (Sunday 7th October) I purchased a packet and found the packet was already open nearly a quarter of the packet was eaten.
I do not usually complain although I am concerned as I will now not eat the remaining crackers as they have already been tampered with.
Thank you for your time,
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
Jessilee Brummelhuis
shelves not stocked
I've been shopping at Woolworths NIDDRIE for six years now. For the last few months the shelves have not been fully stocked and constantly have to ask staff for the product that is missing from the shelves or for greens or meat.
The staff are always pleasant and never say no to a request. But I find I'm wasting my time having to ask for products all the time!
Is the a reason for lack of stock on shelves? Please advise
complaint is about the abusive and violent behavior from a checkout service team member
My Complaint is about the Abusive & violent behavior from a Woolworth's supermarket Checkout Service team member.
I was finalizing my shopping at a self serving checkout at Woolworth's supermarket Lalor. While scanning it came double and i asked the team member to fix it, he did it for me. Again while weigh fresh grapes the scale didn't working, so i thought better to move to staff assisting checkout, while I'm paying for items, the team member for the self check out came at me and started yelling and pointing his finger to me that I did't inform him that i moved to the other checkout.
He is totally using intimidating language, swearing and aggressive
body language to arguing with me.
His Physical appearance:- He is a old male person, not even wish, smile or keep a face contact to the customers.
Im a regular customer at this supermarket and Woolworth too, I never had such a horrible and worst experience ever before.
The complaint mentioned is 100% true and sincere
With faithfully

employee embarrassed me
Good morning my name is kerri and I went into woolworths browns plains store yesterday 4th october thursday with my son to get a few things, I went through self service checkout and the employee at the time was just watching me like I was doing something wrong, she kept standing there watching me like I was going to steal something and she made it quite obvious that she was watching me, never have I felt so embarassed in my life as I did yesterday, I went home in tears I was that upset. I know there are people who steal but I am not one of them I work and I pay for things if I cannot afford something I go without. These employees need to be taught how to go about this type of situation properly. I know they have a job to do but its not making innocent people look and feel embarassed. I will never shop in this store again.
