Woolworths Chai Latte 10 pack.
You changed the recipe with no notice. I opened two boxes to see if I just had a bad box, but they are both the same. New packaging with no mention of any changes.
It is not as creamy and looks like more cinnamon has been added to replace what was removed. It's not very nice. In fact, it is terrible.
I liked the original version as I am sure many people do because it sells quickly. I wait weeks for more to arrive in stores.
Trying to slip in a downgrade and thinking customers won't notice is a misleading and deceitful attempt to make sales on an inferior product. Total disrespect to your customers.
Thank you for wasting my money. I won't be buying anymore.
Desired outcome: Go back to the original Australian recipe.
Home delivery
I have been using online grocery orders and home delivery for two years, in Brisbane. Until recently, the deliveries have been reliable, and the driver very courteous. Now, there is a reduced option of Woolworths vans. Instead, 'partner driver' is available. (read Uber type service) That would be fine, except the drivers on two occasions have complained that they did not have my correct address. It is correct on my account details. Yesterday, I placed an order for arrival today. At the expected time, I received a text informing me of the delivery - where? Not outside my door. I phoned the help line, to be told that my groceries were left outside the main gate of my complex. I had already given instructions re address, and access code. No phone call, no intercom. In my mind, this has been dump and run. I can't access a delivery van in the future, I won't be shopping at Woolworths any more.
Desired outcome: More reliable service
Communication
Dear Woolworths Management,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a series of incidents involving your services, which have occurred over the past few months. As a customer who has never complained about anything to a business before, I feel compelled to voice my concerns due to the repetitive nature of these problems with Woolworths. In fact, I commend you on having the ability to push me to the point of lodging this formal complaint.
Below, I provide a summary of each incident, highlighting the issues I faced and the lack of appropriate resolution from your team at Woolworths.
26 Feb 2023- Order #[protected]:
I had placed an order through Woolworths' "Deliver Now" option, with an ETA of 6:48-6:58 PM. However, the order never arrived. At 9 PM, I witnessed the Woolworths delivery driver drive past my building without making any attempt to stop or contact me. I called the Woolworths store to report the issue, only to be told that they had already put my groceries back, despite me informing them that I was on my way to collect them. Upon arrival, the Woolworths store staff showed no urgency or interest in assisting me, forcing me to help them locate my own items.
10 Mar 2023 - Order #[protected]:FEB 26TH
Again, I used the "Delivery Now" service provided by Woolworths, with an ETA of 7:17-7:27 PM. The delivery never arrived, and I called the Woolworths store at 9:30 PM, having to try four times before someone answered. The Woolworths staff member I spoke to was disengaged and unprofessional. After informing them that I would collect my order, I encountered the Woolworths delivery driver in my apartment building, who had arrived without any communication from the store.
9 April 2023 - Chatbot interaction:
While trying to claim the reward points I was owed for signing up with Bupa, I faced contradicting information from Woolworths' rewards team and Bupa. Your team insisted that I had to contact Bupa directly for the points, while Bupa told me that my card was not linked, and there was nothing they could do. I am still owed $650 in reward points, and this issue remains unresolved with Woolworths.
17 Apr 2023 - Order #[protected]:
Today, I received a delivery from Woolworths that I had booked last night. The Woolworths delivery driver dropped a bag containing large tubs of yoghurt and milk, and then asked me to go outside and clean it up. I am sure you can appreciate where my initial thought pattern goes when you are told to clean something up by a strange male.
Throughout these incidents, not once did any Woolworths staff member offer an apology, take responsibility, or show empathy for the inconvenience caused. As someone who works in learning and development, specialising in customer interactions, I am disappointed by the repeated failures in customer service I have experienced at Woolworths. My purpose in life is to ensure that customers, and employees do not get treated like I have in your shops.
I want monetised compensation. I will leave that up to you, but please don’t leave it longer than this Friday, the 21st.
I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to these matters.
Sincerely,
Stacey Boadle
Desired outcome: i want a monetised option as comphensation.
Denial of removing my ID from the flag list
My ID was used by someone to open a Credit card at Woolworths. Since that the fraudster didn't have my ID woolworths realised that it was a fraudulent activity and they decided to flag it. Now I have contacted them to inform them that it wasn't me but a fraudster so that they can send a letter to inform the South African Fraud Prevention Service that I'm a victim of fraudulent activity so that I can be cleared and use my ID again. They are refusing saying South African Fraud Prevention Service need to clear my name and I have been sent back and forth by either Woolworths or South African Fraud Prevention Service and I can't get any help. No banking institution want to help me because of this flagging and I am frustrated. Please help me
Desired outcome: To get Woolworths to clear my name because I am a victim of fraudulent activity not a fraudster
Racism
Toady on 24/3/23 went to wodonga Woolworths to buy some milk and breads after finishing job I was just taking milk from fridge 2 boys came up taking pictures making bad comments tried to stop them Woolworths team members just watching from corners it’s feel so bad the racism still there to see in big companies like Woolworths give these type of training to staffs they dnt care whats going in there to customers
Use of facial recognition cameras
The use of facial recognition cameras is an invasion of privacy. What right do you or any other company have to know who is in your store? I suggest you do not have a right to know. Have you asked the permission of all your customers to have these devices installed? I am a customer and have not been asked.
You are an entity without morals and ethics masquading as a caring company. You post record profits in a difficult time with inflation rising yet teel your customers you are keeping prices low. I know you are not, do you take your customers as stupid? The answer is yes you do. You cannot make record profits in time such as these without price increases coupled with ripping off farmers and other manufactures. FACT.
I was shocked during covid when you mandated vacinations for your staff (with no authority to do so - lets hope you and other dictator companies are made to pay for this offense - as money is the only language you understand). Now you have decided to instal facial recognition cameras. I boycotted your store when you mandated vaccination, now I will not be shopping at your store at all. I will also be letting everyone I know what you are doing and encouraging them to do likewise.
Desired outcome: removal of facial recognistion cameras.
Woolworths wollongong staff member zarhar tobacco counter
I have shopped there many times over the years and got very good service from staff. This particular time on the 19th of March 2023. I witnessed the same staff member Zarher was having a full on argument with a male customer that went on for quite a while. I saw the security guard trying to sort it out then they stopped. I have never seen an argument like that in my life I believe she should be dismissed her rudeness towards customers was not acceptable.
Regards Paul T
Desired outcome: She should be dismissed for her behaviour
Dear Karen from Wollongong, I'm sure if the customer has a problem they are more than capable of approaching Woolworths management and lodging a complaint against the employee themselves.
Bananas - fresh fruit and veg
Purchased bananas at Leanyer NT store Saturday 18th march- peeled banana same day of purchase and banana was mouldy and discoloured throughout. Fruit seemed perfectly fine on the outside.
Disgusting.
This is not the first time but in a long list of occasions this store has sold produce that was a Heath and safety risk to the public. I have personally had multiple occasions where ‘fresh’ produce had been cut open to find rotten insides.
Desired outcome: Financially reimbursed for product and quality control to audit store to ensure standards are kept
Southport park
Why were the Isles changed everybody I know that shops there loves the layout before so on behalf of everybody I ask why. Also why are so many staff there look so unhappy. Is it because so many sit out the back whining about other staff and smoking to much but there are some good points like there are a few younger ones there that are lovely. And some are helpful.
Regards
Desired outcome: Happy helpful ungrumpy staff
Reply please re outcome
Waited 17minutes from time i queued up at reg to time my products actually “started” getting processed.
Staff needed toilet break n no coverage! Understand everyone entitled to toilet break and staff that served me were lovely.
However,
i should never have to be on the receiving end of mismanagement staff shortage. Spoke to Darren to bring to attn at meeting in place at the time around 2:15pm. Not sure this will be bought up and sorted for other frustrated time poor loyal customers.

Bad service/ruined products
Shopping at plumpton Woolworths was a bad experience. The line for checkout was extremely long with slow staff that had a bad attitude I got to the checkout and then started placing my items up to be scanned and the staff member carelessly grabbing my groceries and throwing them in bags I had raw chicken and eggs which they threw into a bag and when I...

Shopping at Emerton the lines were so long they finally opened a register. The staff member wasn’t happy about it she rushed putting groceries through putting so many items in one bag .I asked for more bags as it was Way to heavy for me to carry she rolled her eyes through a few bags at me. When I got home I realised the crean had been squashed and leaked all through my groceries
Self checout at Woolworths Ashfield
This morning my wife and I were shopping in Woolworths Ashfield after buying various items at Aldi. About 10:40 am I was using the self checkout machine. A young Woolworths female staff demanded that we open grocery bags in our trolleys for a thorough inspection. She also demanded to see the dockets for the purchases. It is obvious the items are distinctly from Aldi. We noticed that she did not check the bags of other customers of Caucasian origin. It is obvious she is targeting elderly customers from particular ethnic background, thinking that they can be easily bullied.
Desired outcome: Certain staff members in Woolworths Ashfield need further training and counselling on customer service.
Customer service on exchanging purchased item.
A store manager refused to assist on exchanging the shoes I bought where by, they ddnt fit well,I have worn the shoes once where I couldn't nearly walk in them as they where oversized and ddnt fit well. She gave me bad attitude and told me straight on my face that she won't help me and told me to go out of the store. She was shouting at me in front of the customers and employees, she humiliated me and still ddnt get any help, I went back home with the same oversized shoes she ddnt exchange the shoes at all. I'm a Woolworths customer for years and it's not the 1st time that lady giving me attitude. Where else should I go shop because it's the nearest Woolworth from where I stay? She's a manager but with a bad attitude.
Desired outcome: Would appreciate if she could be removed from the store as it wasn't for the 1st time treating customers badly , would like to exchange the shoes and get a fitting size.
Customer service
Today 20/03/23 about 2.50pm I was shopping at Woolworths Medowie, something that I will never do again, and went to the service section at the front of the store to cash my Tomra vouches, at this time I was the only person there waiting to be served. There was a female behind the counter, she was short probably in her 50s with pulled back hair. She looked me up and down and just stood there. Another customer then stood next to me and the assistant went to serve her first. The customer said, "Serve the man he was here first." The assistant stood in front of the customer and said to me "What." Then I told her I wanted to cash my Tomra vouches. Thats was when she shouted to a male employee "Get him over there and do these." The arrogance and the abrasive personality were totally offensive. She really needs to be retrained in customer relation skills. The male assistant took me over to the self-service checkout and explained I could now cash them there. I said that I was not aware of this and why wasn't I told originally and not treated like a pig. Please look at CCTV.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and she needs to be retrained. I WILL NOT BE BACK.
Rude service officer
8.50pm 15/02/23 Wend night Marryatville supermarket South Australia
Jessica is a very pretty young lady used to manipulating people, especially males around her. Her sunny disposition hides the backstabbing and the intimidations. I was shocked at how she intimidated the checkout girl serving me.
She was rude towards me as I was walking out of the store.
Desired outcome: Customer service training provided to Jessica, and a suggestion that she would be better suited to another job.
No bbq chickens cooked for purchase every sunday morning
I live in Lethbridge park NSW so Plumpton isn’t our local Woolworths store, But every Sunday morning I go to Woolworths Plumpton mainly because there’s a Bakers Delight where I purchase bread from… No matter what time I get there (this morning 12th February 2023 it was 10:20 am) only to be told bbq chickens were 1 & 1/2 hours away from being cooked, But...
Read full review of WoolworthsMissing items
About15 minutes ago the order I had made for today's delivery arrived.
When I unpacked the three bags, I found TWO items to be missing:
Oral-b Electric Toothbrush Precision Precision Clean Head $4.50 / 1EA $9)
Don Salami Danish $ 8TOTAL $17.00
So, 2 articles marked on list as being supplied WERE NOT supplied, but I was charged for them. Not good enough
Desired outcome: I would like an apology as well as a refund ASAP.I am elderly and unwell and do not have easy access to shops, so I use your online shopping
my most recent order had three fruit juices missing ($15) other orders have had items missed that i have not got a credit for, i find the phone service difficult especially if you need to explain something, i was a Coles shopper for 30yrs but when Covid 19 came you had the only decent web site and i have stayed with Woolworths but these missing items are get me down i'm disabled and don't need this problem, if items are unavailable i understand that but missing items is not good.
the best way to contact me is my mobile [protected]. i do not use Facebook or any social media only email
thank you

Having to move all my produce as belt doesnt work
Hi went to Woolworth Nowra Fair went through a checkout as disabled. The belt didn't work, so had to move my shop up each time. Instead of changing checkouts, they continued using the same one. I was waiting over 30 minutes to be served. Then have to do it myself anyway. Not good, and no other checkout open. At least 6 in line with full carts behind me and two in front. Watched while getting coffee for this still to be continued an hour later
No staff available to process my order...
I was shopping on Friday night at the Bonnyrigg store. When I was ready to pay for my items there were no registers open and I was informed there were no workers available to serve me, only leaving me with the choice of self serve which I struggle to cope with. I have 4 disc's gone in my back plus a knee that needs replacing. With these problems I cannot stand for long intervals or bend without suffering immense pain. What also adds detrimentally to my experience is how often the machines stuff up and I have to wait for an employee to rectify the issue (happened 4 times) I was ready to walk out and just leave all the items in the trolly! experiences like this make me shop at the smaller IGA near by...
Desired outcome: put more staff at the registers- look after your customers- I know so many of my friends that do NOT shop where self serve is the option .
