bags bags
You (major Retailers) again are pushing the costs of running a business back to the consumer whilst your profits increase.
The consumer now does not have the opportunity to conduct a quick shop as who carries bags around with them.
This is very very inconvenient with no option other than purchase yet another STUPID STUPID BAG.
STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID that I had to make 350 characters
staff member
Hi
My family and I are regular customers to our loacal, , ( Banksia Grove, W.A 6031) store since the first week of opening, at least three or four times a week sometimes more .
My Parents, Sister and her family also shop at they local Woolworths store ( Oceankeys Shopping Centre and Joondalup ) we have been doing that for years and during this time none of us has ever had any problems until this month all up Three so far this Month I could just go to Coles that is on the same complax.
1st incident - 01/09/2018 Satueday aftehoon, while I was doing a lite shop i notice a staff member following me around the store, even ran to the self check out and stood behind me while the other staff that was there deal with everyone else that come thru there and she assigned herself to just me. At that time I didnt care as everything in my bag will match up with my receipt and then just before i proceed to pay she accused me of stealing batteries which put back .
So all this happened infront of alot of customers and it was embaressing, but after going thru my bags and realised that I did not steal any batteries or any other item/s, not even an apology.
I was not happy with the whole thing but was prepare to let it go forget about it. But about a week later sometime during the week between 10/09/2018 -13/09/2018 was the next time I saw her(Alex) at the store, i went in for two items i walked passed Alex doing something near freezer area and she sae me, I was heading for the check out just as i got to the register i saw her running acrossed the store straight to the self checkout are stood about one metre from me with another staff member that was already there watched me complete the transaction then checked my receipt again I paid for both items like I always do.
I have not seen her (Alex) until yesterday 24/09/2018 Monday 16:25 and againAlex came to stood behind me that close that I could almost hear her breath, to cut the long story short because it is making me furious thinking about it, as soon as i finished I went to print receipt out and wanted to give to her (Alex) . But she (Alex) reached over and grabed my receipt that was still printing out and started going thru my bags infront of a full self checkout area and every was looking at me and she also (Alex) then asked me is there anything i wanted to take out. Well the answer is NO I paid for every single items why should I and she was holding the receipt and went thru my bags .
Now after yesterday I have had enough of this I want something done about this, I am not even threatening I am prepare to take this to where ever I have to take it to, to have something done, I want her (Alex) to pay to the harresment, embarresment she has caused me . Everytime I want to go get something im going to prepare to go thru that again if she (Alex) is there at the store, now I shouldnt have to feel that way.
So I hope somebody can get back to me ASAP and do something about this, and I also hope some sort of disciplinary action will be taken towards her (Alex) for these three incidents .
I have never ever experience anything like this in my whole 40year life, and im not going to let this go until something is done.
So just to make clear that this is my official complaint to Woolworths Australia about your staff Alex from the Banksia Grove, WA, 6031 store.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you

Hello,
Regarding claim 885088 As per my conversation on the phone:
- I brought in your attention I was promised that i can use repair of my choice when i was making car insurance policy with Woolworths / Hollard.
- you have disagree to repair car in Rushcutters Bay Repairs, when I said I have a good / quality experience with them.
- you did not took serious my feedback that Bondi collision centre has bad reviews on the google (internet and I have explained multiple times my own horrific experience with them
- I have called to one of your referred by you repairs in Artarmon and they suggested me that I am better to repair my car in LSR repairs. You said you have had deal with LSR before and you will not authorise repairs in LSR for me.
- you insisted me to go to Platinum repair in Artarmon, who has very bad rating and reviews on internet (google) . They are Subaru certified repairs and have complains from Subaru owners. I mentioned it to you.
I also mentioned if my car will be repaired not good I will take the case to court. To claim for the full car's value.
You still incised for me to go to Platinum Repairs in Artarmon even after I mention bad rating and reviews. And that they have no experience with my car's model.
You declined to let me speak with Karl - the assessor who is above you and I wished to explain him directly.
I am opening the case in Ombudsman with the information above if I am not contacted by you within 1 hour.
Regards

woolworths branded 100% eye fillet steak (beef)
Purchased Woolworths Brand 100% eye fillet steak at Richmond NSW store on Monday 17th September 2018.
The packaging was arranged so that no obvious fat component could be seen when taking the article from a shelf from the meat section. When the package was opened the following Sunday several large deposits of fat were discovered under the large label stuck around one side of the package. When measured using accurate electronic kitchen scales, this fat weighed 65g which is 19.4% of the total weight written on the package (335g).
This cut of steak is the most expensive at $44
per kilo. The advertising makes it clear that this is a prime fillet steak which carries the expectation that there would be no perceptible amounts of fat. Not only was this not the case but it seems there was a deliberate intent to conceal the fat. This is an example of deceptive marketing behaviour which is both unconscionable in its execution and illegal under Australian Consumer Law.
woolworths brioche 4 pack buns
I bought a 4 pack of brioche buns today at Merrylands Mall and as my granddaughter pull it in half a dead bug was found inside the bun. I have pictures - now my 12 year old granddaughter will never eat your buns again she said.
My granddaughter has issues with good at the best of times but to find a bug or ant whatever it is in the bun almost made her throw up.
I am very dissatisfied with the quality control and as I work in the food industry myself I am well aware of what rules and regulations there are in place for something like this to happen.
I would like some to contact me ASAP regarding this matter. 23/9/18
select spray mop
I purchased your select spray mop recently and I think it's a great product but after using the spray a couple of times the bottle keeps popping out and won't spray properly. I'm constantly having to push it back in. I'm hoping you could help rectify this problem. I have used similar products without this issue. I feel like I've wasted my money on a faulty product. Thanks Temeka
online click and collect order
We tried to complete a Woolworths click and collect order over 2 days finally ringing online support to finalise yesterday 20.8.18. We requested them to complete the order and make sure the rewards card used was Claire Hearn as we had been offeted 3500 reward points on that card. The chap ensured us that it had been updated to said card. We collected the goods 20.9.18 and checked today to find out we had not received the bonus points offered and peter hearns rewards card had been credited 309 poonts. We have been very loyal to Woolworths. We did ring in to be told nothing could be done about this. We seek your further investigation and advice. Regards Claire and Peter HEARN

woolworths potato salad pre packed 800 gr in cold food section
hello i live in qld australia and we buy the above product every week. in the allergens it says it MAY contain egg. i am anaphylactic to eggs and require epipens. when we first bought it i tried a tiny bit of it and i was fine and have not had any reaction from it in qld. we have just returned from 9 weeks in Darwin, where we bought the same product at Bakewell Woolworths in Darwin area. when my daughter was doing dinner she checked the label to make sure that the potato salad did not contain eggs. when she read the label it did contain eggs. if she had not have checked the label, i would have had a life threatening anaphylactic episode. i would have eaten it without checking the label because i just assumed that all of the pre packed potato salad, sold by woolworths would be the same in every state of australia, but not so. this is a safety issue for many people who suffer anaphylaxis as most sufferers would be like me and just assume that the same ingredients were used in every state, throughout australia. can you please look into this for the safety of customers. thank you..jennie pickford
receiving sms messages for a deceased person
My name is Kathy Bassett and I am continually receiving sms messages to notify my deceased father that he has obtained at wooworths gift car as a thankyou. I have on more than one occasion advised that my father Mervyn Bassett is deceased. That I do not appreciate receiving these messages 2 years after his passing away. It does not seem to register with your people as they continue to be received as another message was received this morning.
I am making an official complaint regarding this issue and wish it to be addressed

I wish to correct that it is a gift card not car and it was a typo on my behalf
i'm complaining about poor customer relations
I was going through the self serve checkout when the woolworths staff member stood maybe 2 metre's me beside me, watching and obviously staring, making me feel very uncomfortable like a (theif). I understand that supermarkets need security so stealing does not occur, and I am happy to present my bags at any time, but I will not be made to feel like a thief. This is the same staff member I spoke to a couple of weeks ago when I was overcharged on a reduced item from the bakery, oh, the staff member said the bakery never gets it right, if the bakery never gets it right then how many people are overcharged daily by woolworths, and not so much as an apology.
I would suggest staff are security trained in a more customer friendly manner, I was made to feel singled out and uncomfortable. Sorry woolies i'm switching to coles.. Their staff members are friendly.
huggies nappies
Recently purchased a box of nappies from woolworths nightcliff and am pissed off 😡my baby keeps leaking within minutes. I've previously purchased a similar product from Coles and never had an issue. You can almost tell from just touching and looking at the product that it's not right. Thanks woollies for the constant embarrassment my little one and I had to deal with let alone the rashes it came with. Super dissapointed 😡😡😡😡😡😡
I’m getting in touch with consumer affairs regarding your so called competition, which was just click bait to get my phone number to sell to marketing companies. Even though I answered no to all sales questions in your stupid survey.
home delivery driver driving
One of your drivers this afternoon Rego 568 TLC in Hervey Bay needs to learn the meaning of not to tailgate! He came at great speed up William Street Urangan and then into Shell Street to the point of not seeing any of the vehicle but the windscreen and driver, I know this conduct is not tolerated and I hope this matter is dealt with I understand they work at a schedule but not at the cost of an accident or a life!
bad ticketing
Hi,
I purchased on 17/09 a pot of cream "olay" Regenerist. This was marked down to $34.30 from $49.00. When I got home I found I was charged the full price because the box I picked was marked "frangrance free" with a thin green line on the front. On the shelf at Woolworths all products were marked down except for the one I picked right in the middle, I call that very bad ticketing and wish to receive a refund. The Grocery Manager there was not able to help me, I had already opened the box before I realised that I had been charged too much. At $49, 00 I would not have bought it. That sort of ticketing is fraudulent, and as the man explained someone could have easily mixed the boxed which all looked the sale except for the little green line at the front. The boxes which are not on special should not be mixed with the ones on special.
A very unhappy customer (again)

Please look at my complaint above
I have wanted to make a complaint, but after reading through some of the complaints on this web page, it seems pointless for me to submit it, as they don't appear to have elicited any response from Woolwoths. Hence, I will in future vote with my feet and shop elsewhere. JIM

INCIDENT : TORQUAY WOOLWORTHS, Morning of the 17th Spetember
HANNAH LISTON
I'm 9months pregnant and can no longer bend in an out of a shopping trolley so had gathered my goods to be purchased in a basket on wheels. Upon checking out at the self service I'd loaded my purchased goods into a box and purched back onto the wheelie basket to take to my car.
The staff member stopped me and said it was against company policy to take the basket out of the store. I said I understood but could they make an exception as I cant carry it to my car any other way and promised to bring it straight back. We are in the small town of Torquay on a quiet day after all. Her response was again 'its against company policy as you might steal it.' I found that statement quite upsetting. As no solution was being offered I then said (which I didnt really feel neccessary to point out the obvious) ' im 9 months pregnant and cant lift, can a staff member please help me otherwise I will have to leave my shopping. She then huffed at me and said 'we dont to that... fine you can but you will set off all the alarms' in a very rude tone.
I almost walked out at this stage as being accused of being a theif as well as disappointment in the community that I love that anyone would be so unwilling to help a heavily pregnant woman was very upsetting. The only reason I didnt was as my baby is literally due any moment so I didnt know if id get another chance to buy food before it came and im running on very little enegry.
So she begrudgingly let me through. Then the absolute worst part of it all - she followed me to the door and watched me unload and walk back to make me feel even more like the untrustworthy thief she had suggested I might be.
The entire experience was HORRIBLE and left me feeling really upset, but most of all disgusted that popping in to grab a few items from one of Australias biggest retailers could leave any customer (9months pregnant or not) insulted and not treated with any respect.
- I did not grab the employees name but she was a mature aged woman working the self service checkout before noon on 17th September.
hacked or not?
Over the past few weeks to months I've been receiving daily spam emails claiming that they have Woolworths authority to contact me.
These emails have ramped up since I stopped my home delivery service for my groceries.
These emails are now containing my full home address. If Woolworths hasn't been hacked, I'm left to think that there is a huge problem with the delivery drivers. How do I know it's not them selling my personal details?
Despite many times forwarding these emails to Woolworths, I've never received a satisfactory explanation. Come to think of it I've NEVER received a explanation or any communication from Woolworths.
What's going on Woolworths?
i'm not complaining just trying to get a better click & collect ordering
In the deli can we have the option to ask for say 6 Frankfurts instead of kg, chicken breast 2 large or 3 small, for items like olives we need to option to order a small, med or large serving as It is difficult to estimate how much we are ordering by weight when we cannot see the items. I ended up with $10 worth of stuffed olives as it is difficult to estimate how much of a product I will be recieving when I ask for 300g for example. The same would be appreciated for produce - zucchini, mushrooms, etc. Can we have a aisle by store option.
deli department
I was at your Woolworths central lakes store in qld and I went to the deli department to get some chicken chippies and when I paid for them and returned to my car to eat them they were stone cold and like rubber so I took them back and the girls at the counter called the girl from the deli department and she came up and I told her they were cold and like rubber and she was rude and said she would get me a new lot and the girls at the front counter were shocked at how rude she was and they told their manager. The girl from the deli came back with a new lot and sorry but she said it like rudely and the girls apologised and said try these ones before you go but they were the same so I asked to see the manager and she came up to me and offered to cook me fresh ones but they would take 20 mins I said that was fine and she said are you sure I said yes as I was hungry I ended up waiting 25 mins for them but I just wanted to say how rude the deli lady was and how disappointed I was that she spoke to customers with that much disrespect
woolworths staff member
This afternoon at 4.30pm Friday 14th September 2018 I came to Woolworths Bateau Bay NSW 2261 with my mum to do shopping, we had previously been to Coles and I was pushing a Coles trolley with groceries I had brought from Coles with the receipt in my bag, and my mum was pushing a Woolworths trolley for her Woolworths groceries.
As mum was waiting in line at the checkout I told mum I would wait outside of the store for her and when I pushed my trolley outside of the store a Woolworths staff member with short blonde hair who was monitoring the self service checkouts ran after me in front of everyone.
She looked at me with negative attitude, and had negative body language, and proceeded to look in my bags in front of everyone, this woman was looking me up and down and once she was done she kept looking at me in a very patronising way as she went back into the store after humiliating me in front of everyone watching inside and outside of the store.
I am absolutely shocked, disgusted, embarrassed, and feel completely victimised in the way she ran out after me in front of everyone as if I was a criminal.
My family and I have always shopped at Woolworths, we shop at Woolworths a few times a weekend spend a lot of money in your stores, but after this incident I don't feel comfortable setting foot in another Woolworths store.
If the staff member approached me nicely and asked to check my bags I would of been more than happy to do that, but no member of the public should ever be made to feel this way by any employee of Woolworths.
This incident has really upset me, and my family, and due to the way this staff member treated me I will now do my shopping else where.
If you care about your customers, you will do something about this, because if this staff member continues to treat members of the public like this you will continue to lose more customers.
I'm really disappointed.

woolworths australia
14th September 2018, 13:18. I have just returned from purchasing some items from Woolworths, Settlement City, NSW. I had my Eftpos card in my hand ready for payment however when I inserted my Eftpos card twice to pay for the items, both times the card was cancelled then a receipt was issued. I learnt from the cashier the payment was taken by Paywave from my credit card and not from the account I intended to use for payment.
I do not use my credit card for purchasing groceries and, as Woolworth took this payment without my permission, I asked the cashier to reverse the payment. The cashier told she was unable to do this so I asked to speak to a supervisor who told me the same thing. Neither person showed any concern I was unhappy that Woolworths accessed a bank account of mine without my permission and could not guarantee it would not happen again. I left the store in shock.
I use my Eftpos card for most things I purchase however this has never happened with any other merchant. The customer service I received from the two Woolworth's employees was a disgrace and Woolworths accessing my bank account without my permission is unacceptable. I am especially disappointed as I have been a loyal Woolworths customer my whole life and would like an explanation on how this can happen.

Very recently I have experienced a problem twice when inserting 50c pieces into self - service registers. The first occasion was when I bought a drink (iced Tea) which was $1.90 so I inserted 90c then a $5 note. I should have got $4 change but only $3.50 came out. Two female employees came over and retrieved a receipt from the register which claimed I had only put in $5.40. So I was told there was nothing that could be done and one woman walked away. I felt like they were accusing me of being a liar. While I argued with the second woman, the register suddenly spat out the 50c coin ! . I said "see !". I got no apology and it really p***** me off. That was the Carlingford NSW store. A few weeks ago I was at Woolies Metro Parramatta when the same thing happened. It ate my 50c and reckoned on the receipt that I had put in less. I got my 50c refund but someone after me probably got a surprise 50c.
Why do some stores adhere to dress code and others not. When is it appropriate to wear black leggings. I was made to buy $30.00 slacks for the store I was sent to because my night uniform was inappropriate. So I bought paid $60.00 for 2 pairs of slacks when the service manager wears $5.00 leggings... Very unprofessional.
