I accept that from now on I should read the “terms & conditions” a lot more closely, but I just couldn’t conceive of a company offering a trial that starts the day you place the order. Well that’s exactly what this fraudulent crook of a company decided to do and I get some third world inept operator taking my call that tried her hardest to up-sell me on another month of a product I didn’t even want one month of.

So I tell her that I received the acai product on Monday it was now Wednesday and I’m wondering why they charged me $89 after 3 days, she replies no it is charged 10 days from the time you place the order, you failed to call us back in time. I exploded! What sense does that make to start my trial of something before I receive it? I didn’t get to TRY it! She say’s oh well since you’ve already paid for it now why don’t you try it for the rest of the month. This crap went on for way too long and finally when I was frustrated to the verge of tears did she give me the cancellation instructions.

Can you believe after the 10 times I said I didn’t want it had I hung up too soon I would have still been in the system to get hit again next month! Scam artists! I am pissed and still out of money. And the cancellation process is so detailed and ridiculous, and they cover their criminal butts by putting this stupid info in the terms they know people rarely read through completely. Uuuggghh!

I puchased one of the Acai berry products to lose weight and the pills were sent to my house. on the website it said that it was a free trial so i expected to pay nothing apart from postage and packaging which was [£13.88 in US dollars $19.95]
Then i received the product and just over £55.77 [in US dollars $79.95] was taken out of my account. i contacted the company because apparently i had 15 days to SEE the product and not TRY, to decide if i wanted to keep it. and if i decided to keep it i had to pay the amount that was taken out.
I was replied and then they apologized and told me they were to refund the money. i sent back the product and my money was supposed to be refunded from 5 to 7 working days and it was not. then i checked my account and then it seems that more money has been taken out from TOP STAR HERBAL which was £62.41 [in US dollars $99.90] i do not want any products and i do not want anything to do with this company. i need help because i want my money back i cant cant seem to find a contact number. i want this to be over a soon as possible and i want my money because i do not want it to result in getting lawyers involved because it is a lot of money. this company needs to stop now before they cause more damage.

Acai Berry on the computer, all sites are scams, they charge you for a sample then charge you $39.95 a month or $88.99 a month when they get your credit card number. They are a fraud...Never recieved product and was charged on my CC...BEWARE...THEY ARE SCAMMING the public. OVER 2700 complaints in just a few weeks. DON"T ORDER ANY KIND OF ACAI.

Did you manage to cancel your account with them after several calls? If not, you may want to try this no. [protected]. Just be more patient. My hard work to cancel my orders with this company paid off after I called that help line.

My credit card was billed $80.33 for an UNAUTHORIZED transaction. There was nothing ever stated about any "technical support charges." It clearly states that it is a FREE trial and ONLY shipping is paid for.

Hi, I am from Québec Canada and I also have been scam from Acaie Berry and colon cleanse. Have been trying to stop having charges to my Visa since 5 weeks. Have been charged with $200.00 yet.

Let me tell you it is a full time job getting to stop them. I have returned the 2 packages they sent me (registered mail of course which cost $12.95 each time) (make sure you get a signature at the end).

Finally yesterday, I had my VISA cancelled with my bank, since even with all the cancellation numbers they have given me, futures charges will be made to my credit card.

The only way to stop this, it is to advise your credit card and insist they close your account. Believe me...

As long as you didn't input your credit card information, then you have no reason to worry about it being charged to your account.

However, if you requested a 'free trial', and had to put your credit card information in, in order to receive the product, then you may be subject to product charges as stated in the Terms of Service.

As I tell everyone else, if there are charges on your card that should not be there, contact your bank and dispute the charges.

Also, contact the customer service rep at the website that's (usually) provided with the product.

As far as the product goes, just slap a "Return to Sender' on the box, and send it back.

The free trial starts when you confirmed your order with them on the phone. If you wish not to receive products anymore, call [protected]. I guess you better go for exercise to lose weight realizing you have four kids to take care of.

Natural Acai Berry contact info! How could they possibly be a SCAM and also give out its CONTACT INFO... My research about the company gave me to understand that the product comes from the West Indies which surprised me at first but when i called the helpline i was told the product is from the Amazon.. So that felt okay and i continued on with the product getting myself a SPECIAL CUSTOMER DISCOUNT :-)

I also got suckered into this Acai berry stuff, i thought it was going to be something new to try a new way to lose some excess fat of me but little did i know that my checking account was going to be deducted n i get ripped off every month for these pills... What a rip off! Thanks to all your comments posted on the board was i able to get in contact with this SCAM, , but when i called in i was amazed at the service i was provided, the Representatives were so humble n kind i was soo MAD when i called up n was answered within the first 30 seconds of HOLD anywhere i had my account canceled got a confirmation email along with a cancellation number proving i canceled, and coming to the charges the agent without further argument agreed to refund me for just one bottle which was the last one! I had no option but agree because i had BROKEN the seal of the first bottle which was my mistake.. And today im a customer with Acai again and this company really proved me wrong whatever i thought about them was wrong.. They actually honored me back as a Loyal customer and offered me SPECIAL CUSTOMER DISCOUNT, , , im glad there's no more RIP OFF involved...

How come this company got hold of your credit card info? Maybe someone stole it from you and use it for his own interest. You should investigate this situation. But first of all, call fwm at [protected] and cancel your order as soon as possible.

This company offered a free trial of the product. After I filled out the on line form to order I had seen the total very quickly add to $87.00 I had received a call from a man from the company and he assured me my acct. would not be charged. I checked my bank account tonight and I had been charged on 07/16/09 which is today. I called again and this morning I am still out the money. This is very wrong and how can this company stay in business?

If I'm not mistaken, the company will charge you with the full amount only after 14 days of free trial. You could call [protected] to voice out your complaints. Cancel your account as soon as possible so there'll be no more unauthorized charges.

I agree 100% I ordered a 15 day risk free trial and sent the product back and they still charged me a membership fee witch was $79.22$ I told them I never wanted a membership and they said it was too late! They said they were going to cancel it and not charge me and 4 days later I checked on the internet banking and they charged me, so they lied! They will not refund my money either!

Acai Berry --- Just call your credit card company and tell them NOT to pay the bill
I did and they did!

Acai Berry is the lowest form of life. They are as crooked as congress or lawyers.

Hanging would be to good for them

AND on top of that the pills don't work

I ordered the free trial of Acai Berry and only had to pay shipping and handling. They told me to call a number to cancel any further shipments, so I did, TWICE, and they still charged me $87.00! Very dissatisfied, and it's a total scam. Just go to the grocery store if you want a natural supplement, way less emotional stress...

I ordered the trial of AcaiBerry Detox and paid the shipping fee. I received the product, and it didn't work at all. About 3 weeks later there was a charge for $87.13 on my credit card. Of course, no paperwork that said anything about how the trial worked was in with the product. I went back to the site and found in very tiny text at the very bottom of the site a link to terms and conditions. This was not part of the order process! I immediately called to cancel the order. Of course, you cannot get to a human but the recorded message said that it was cancelled and that I wouldn't receive any more charges. I look at my credit card statement today, and what do I see? Another charge for $87.13 along with some other "international fees." I haven't received my 2nd month supply either. The credit union says I have to wait 30 days from the date of cancellation to receive the product and if I don't, then I can do a charge back. Just so everyone knows, they put the charges through by different names on your credit card. So far I've seen expressberry, skyberry and rainforestberry. What a scam!

I had this happen and they put 87.12 2 times on my devit card. i went to the company in Hollywood FL with no results, so I stoped my debit card and had the Bank issue me another one with different numbers. now they cannot draw on my account any more. Today I call the Better Business Burea and filled out a complaint and the attorney General Office in Ohio as thts the state I live in. I got the product today, before I got the trial 14 days. I am sending this back un-open with tracking # from PO for protection that they cannot say they have not got the #

This has got to stop so do the same thing until they are caught in what they do. it is crooked.

There are forms you can get from your bank to file against the company. if you did not give them persmission to take money out of your account you should be able to get the forms and Fill them out and have your bank mail them in for you and if they settle they should return your money into your account. or you can just have your bank issue you another debit card for your account and hopefully that will stop the people from taking out money.

I did some background checks on the "Barry Folgers Inc." company and it is not registered with the Florida Department of State. The address we have all been given of 314 East Dania Beach Blvd, Suite 117, Dania Beach Florida, [protected] belongs to the Gail Belenger Foundation, Inc. The address given for the refund belongs to BW Marketing Consultants, TopBody Cleanse, FMW Laboratories, and Biolabs Skin Care LLC. The registered agent for Biolabs Skin Care LLC is GROSS, BRADLEY J, 3111 STIRLING ROAD, FORT LAUDERDALE FL 33312 US. The BW Marketing consultants also lists the address of 4961 LEEWARD LANE, FORT LAUDERDALE FL 33312 US, and gives a registered agent of: WEISS, BRIAN, 4961 LEEWARD LANE

Like many others, I sent for the product for a trial period. Never received, but charged $95.70 anyway. Cannot contact, so I guess I've kissed that money goodbye.

Now, I'm worried because I have another charge on my Visa which is SecureHerbSupport.com for $93.97, and I cannot contact them either.

Anyone heard of this name? I'm calling Visa, but I don't know what good it will do.
