will not give refund for unused propane when tank had 60 % left in tank when picked up. They put a lock on it 6 months ago where I could of been using to bbq. talked to local representative and they are clueless. After on hold for 10 minutes they claim it is company policy to not refund on a leased tank. Sent email with no response. they could care less due to I am no longer a customer.
Same thing with us. Even their own technicians who service the tank (it is their tank) told me they will tell you a refund will be sent by check for any unused propane, but you will never get it. They will just string you along, trying to wait you out. Our case is for less than 60% but this company is unethical. We paid for that propane and never got to use it. The "Customer Care" people told us they would credit our account for the unused propane, but then someone else says "Sorry, your account is closed, so we cannot credit you." The account was never closed, as anyone could see from their on-line account. So lying is part of their policy. Someone needs to hold this giant corporation to account for this high-handed way of disrespecting and cheating their customers, or former customers.

I am curious, if this ever resolved with reimbursement? I would lile to find more customers that have been victimized by this company and start a class action lawsuit
Same thing is happening to us right now. I have done a BBB complaint, I'm not holding my breath with that though since they have an F rating, I don't think they care. I have CC'd the CEO's on emails (no input from those big paychecks yet). And I have just started a the complaint process with the Public Utilities Commission. Fingers are crossed, but again. I'm not holding my breath. My last step will be court. They should absolutely be held accountable and I feel that their should be a class action lawsuit.
I've been waiting a 800$ refund on a tank now.for a year. Just looking into if anyone else is having issues. Of course they are. Just my luck. Wishing everyone the best.
I remember being told (Hawaii) there would be a $160.00 charge for tank pickup and the unused propane would be refunded. I’m waiting to see if they do that. The tank is gone and it was over 50% full
