Bay windows and double Hung Units
The windows were order on 3/5/21, via Home Depot order No. H1245-165832. The windows were wrong. One of the window was not a Bay and the other window supposed to be one unit, but somehow Anderson separated the window (s). Home Depot decided to re-order on 5/24/21. The wait time for this new order is until 6/28/21.
Called Home Depot and was told to call Anderson. Called Anderson on 6/14/21, to expedite the order, since the windows were order since March 5, 2021. The call was handover to a senior customer service rep. Phillip Mueller, was said that the production is the same even Anderson made and error or not. This gentleman, did not want to listen to the customer need. He insist that, he cannot help me and did not care to understand the issue.
I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said that he is the most senior person in the Company. Please help me expedite this order.

French patio door
My husband and I purchased a Andersen patio door from Home Depot in Levittown NY. The paint on the interior of the door is defective . You can take it off with your finger. We started by calling Andersen and were told the issue needed to be resolved by Home Depot because that's where it was ordered from. The customer service at Home Depot is awful. No one wants to help you with anything. They don't even pick the phone up. Finally after weeks of calling someone called us back saying that if we are willing to keep the doors Andersen will give us replacement panels. We agreed
A few days later the same person called us back from Home Depot and told us that Andersen now says they will replace only one panel. This makes no sense because it is a 2 panel door and both are defective. I requested a full refund and was told by Home Depot that I can't get that even though I'm with in my 1 year warranty period. Very frustrating
The door is an eyesore and and embarrassment.
We have had Andersen products before and we're happy with them
That's why we ordered this door but it is a disaster.

Sales quotation
We had a sales rep to our home, to quote for 6 windows in our kitchen. The rep was at our home for 2 hours. Granted, the product looked good but the price was an absolute insult. We did our homework before the consultation, so we knew our budget. The cost quoted was $24, 000 for SIX WINDOWS! We were offered a ‘buy now' discounted price of $18, 000, if we purchased there and then. We decided this was completely over priced and advised the sales rep we were not going ahead.
Andersen called the following evening, at 8.30pm. I answered the questions. The caller constantly asked why I wasn't going ahead, and found my answer unacceptable. I had to politely inform the caller I wasn't interested and didn't care for the tone used.
This is not how you win business of a new customer, who has not fully exercised their quotation process. I will for sure, never purchase Andersen Windows based on this level of intrusion and over pricing!

Mold, moisture on windows and doors since 2005
We purchased Home in 2005 windows were here when we purchased home mold and moisture on windows and doors has been an ongoing issue since then. I have had breathing issues since we purchased home I just thought I had developed allergies! I just found out on 1/22/2021 that there has been a lawsuit for these issues! We are looking for full replacement of all windows and doors, we have already had to replace one of the doors due to mold and moisture

Storm screen door
Bought Andersen door going on three years ago. Had a professional install and almost immediately had problems with the pull down screen. Andersen sent a replacement and put that in only to have the replacement rip as had the original. However, that was only part of the problem as the door would only slam or not close efficiently. Despite many attempts the problem continued and have had a new heavy-duty door closer installed but with no relief.
So the door has to be replaced I fear and I fear I have received a lemon and have to start over without Andersen - would love to have an Andersen professional inspect and give me a review.
Desired outcome: Arrange to have Andersen professional visit and inspect!
16' sliding glass door wall
I had an andersen 18' door wall installed in september 2020 to replace another one that was 20+ years old. When it rains, the trough inside the fixed panels fill up with water.
I have had a builder and two installers look at the doorwall and they have not found a solution.
I am extremely disappointed in the andersen product for which I paid over $6000.

Universal storm door handle return complaint
I purchased a universal storm door handle through Andersen online to install on a brand new Andersen storm door. First, it was shipped in the manufacturing box through UPS, arrived mangled and beat. To boot it was missing the outer door handle itself i.e. missing parts! I called customer service to return the item and was told I had to pay a 20% restocking fee as well as pay for shipping. This amount is almost equivalent to the cost of the door handle itself! I always loved Andersen products and considered customer service as top notch. This however has changed my prospective. I do not feel that as the consumer I should be responsible for the shipping and restocking when the main reason for returning the item is because it was delivered missing essential parts. The shipping plus tracking is going to cost me $15.00+. I am shipping the item back in a well packaged box and I am asking for a one time courtesy to waive these fees. 100 series windows
Built my retirement home after a long military career. About a year after occupancy (2018) we started noticing mold and mildew and soft drywall in about 10 windows that had dry wall sill. After extensive trouble shooting on the exterior and contractor advisement, we filed claim with Andersen. They performed a "drill and fill" repair that did not work. We asked them to replace the windows. They came back on a dry day to verify the drill and fill repair and did not water test the windows. They are now ignoring our claim and not warranting their leaky windows. They have stopped corresponding with us and we now seek others and legal help.
Anderson storm door serial number [protected] substandard workmanship
I purchased an Anderson Storm door a couple years ago. About a year after purchasing the door, I opened the door and the mechanism for holding the latch in place just fell out on the ground.
For a while I just used the lock on the door to keep it closed. When I looked for parts to buy to fix the door, I was told I had to go to the manufacturer, but Anderson had a 5 year manufacturers warranty and would send me the parts.
I contacted them and explained the situation (in detail). They sent me the door handles for inside and outside the door...totally useless for the problem. When I called back and told them that they sent me the wrong parts, they put me on hold and then told me that the parts I needed were not under warranty.
It's aggravating to explain in detail what you need, then wait weeks for a part that doesn't work in the first place. Then finding out that the part you did need isn't covered under warranty. Sounds kind of fishy to me.
anderson 200 series tilt/wash
I called in this morning to discuss why 11 of my windows, the top pane is dropping when I opened the windows to wash. I was told it was the balancers, was told not under warrenty. #2373252 & #[protected]. $580 parts - $1, 460 labor? I was told 10 years parts, in which I bought my home in late 2009.
I think this is wrong, quality windows? I think this is wrong anderson not picking up any cost for the disruptance? Even some of the windows are coming apart, see photo attached. Quality? You would think that anderson would do the replacement and not charge to have installed! Exspecially $1, 460 for 11 windows... There windows!

they sent the wrong order
I ordered the best windows anderson had available with white paint on the interiorthey came in in plain wood I spent aprox $27000 from home depot in leominster mass 01453 now im holding up my house framer they told me 4 weeks I need this order to be expedited can an anderson manager call me please thank you mark fanelli [protected] asap this is very upsetting and I want to feel like anderson cares I would like to feel that im happy to have anderson not to be unhappy its very important small costomer or large so do the wright thing and get me my windows they messed up and call me thanks
andersen vinyl clad gliding window
I will never buy another Andersen window product again. I have several gliding windows, brown, terratone, color. The vinyl clad delaminates from the window. I contacted Andersen and because they were under warranty still they shipped me new sashes. Which I had to pay to have installed and finished. Within five years the replacements sashes have delaminated. I contacted Andersen and was given the same response. There is no warranty on replacements issued under a previous warranty. So Andersen can send you as a replacement defective products and not be held accountable. Great way to stand behind your products! They have offered me a discount on purchasing new sashes from them. However, I have to pay for staining, sealing and installation of the replacements. The new sashes will come with another warranty period, but this seems like a vicious cycle. One of the Andersen representatives told me that if the window is exposed to sunlight for most of the day and the trim is brown, it will again delaminates and that is not covered because the issue was due to "forces of nature"! Really, windows are being sold that can not withstand sunlight! Andersen simply states that is there policy and there is nothing else they can do.
poor quality/poor customer service
i special ordered a slider door and it came to me damaged with too many holes.i returned it and it came to me with more holes in it than the first one. the quality and customer service has been beyond poor. andersen 3000 storm door no warranty only 2 weeks old.
Door broke after two weeks. The retractable screen and glass screen would go up and down. Then the screen would not retract and the glass door froze in place. Andersen told me they would send me directions and part. No labor covered. THAT IS NOT A WARRANTY. I called Andersen and it took 45 minutes to get someone on the phone that knew something. They said the door was installed wrong. I just want a working door.

I have been a long time patron of Home Depot home improvement stores. I have enjoyed a myriad of several of your Do It Yourself products over decades, and overall do not have many complaints. I, however, would like to bring to your attention two issues that I have had with two ordered items within your retail outlet.
A few years ago, I ordered some custom blinds in your windows department. A Home depot contractor came out and measured my window dimensions. Shortly following that, the custom made blinds were installed by Home Depot contractors.
Unfortunately, I experienced a break in, in which I was informed by the officer that he can see directly into my dining and living rooms from the exterior of my home. I did not realize that the installation of the blinds was improperly done until this occurred. These custom blinds are actually very custom due to this major flaw.
Additional, I also ordered a storm door(screen door) that was also installed by your contractors. Home Depot! Within one week the storm door glass shatter. The replacement glass was not properly installed. The pump is out on the storm door, and the door does not easily close. In order for the door to be properly locked, I must pull up the handle on the door simultaneously while locking. It is quite difficult to perform this simple task. It has gotten worse over the weeks and it is becoming unbearable and I am getting frustrated.
Of recent times, I have dealt with tragedy after tragedy. I have had a tumultuous last couple of years after helping my brother survive colon cancer and also dealing with the death of my daughter. I have been totally out of sight and mind to many of my constituents. I have given a lot and lost a lot. I have gone to lengths of asking my congressman for assistance.
I would highly appreciate an amicable resolution to these problems that I am experiencing with your custom installed products.
anderson storm door 36” 4000ez
On 8/6/19 I purchased the Anderson Security Storm door EZ 4000 and matching Handle set. During installation my contractor could not install the Lock case trim plate (item d in diagram)because it wouldn't fit, it was not the "matching /fitted" handle set for the 4000 EZ DOOR although during selection in store and on packaging it was marked as being the handle set for the EZ 3000/4000 door. A call was placed to first Home-depot- who started all issues with the product needed to be addressed with Anderson/Emco. A call was placed to Emco customer Service and they stated a replacement handle set would be sent. At the end of the call I attempted to remain on the call line for the survey, however the representative refused to hang up the line stating " the representatives taking the survey were all busy that someone would return my call ". Which never happened. Upon receiving the replacement handle set it too could not be installed because it was identical to the original. There is obviously some type of manufacturing defect for a matching handle set not to fit the door for which it was designed to fit. I'm very unhappy with this company with their customer service practice which seems to deny the ability to file a complaint. I paid full price for the Anderson Storm door EZ 4000 and matching handle set which cannot be installed. Therefore my remedy would be to have a certified installer come with the CORRECT part to my home and correct this problem, send the correct part, or I will seek full refund of both the door and handle set. For a company of your size with all of your resources should be able to simply rectify this problem without further delay. I am a retired consumer on a fixed income and a veteran that has full access to social media to rant about your company and how it treats its customers. However I don't want to utilize my time nor my energy for this matter that should be easily resolved.

screened hinged patio door
One year ago we purchased a 6000.00 dollar patio Anderson rear door . The screened hinged door that came with the patio doors immediately fell apart . Hinges came off, handle fell off, screen sagged . This was very disappointing for a brand new door . Anderson sent a technician to replace and install a new one . One month later same exact problem even worse . Anderson is now not standing by their product and wants no part of this on going problem . Not concerned nor cares how to solve it . They basically said your life time warranty is void after a month old . We are in the process of financially having to spend for a screen door custom . We are shocked that Anderson is not making good for a screen door that continually falls apart . We will not be purchasing any Anderson products again and will not be recommending their product to family or friends . With this complaint we are still hoping someone will reach out to us from Anderson . All senior Anderson technicians have disregarded our complaint and told us we are finically responsible for getting a screen door that works and lasts .

On July 11th, I purchased an anderson porch door through National Lumber in Newton MA. It was due to arrive Aug 5th but never did. I was working with Bennett Freedman of National Lumber. He did not give me an order receipt upon request, just telling me it would arrive Aug 5th. National Lumber cannot find the order info or record of purchase, yet the store operator charged my credit card. National Lumber is not able to help. The salesman is out of town thru August. My contractor is queued up to install the door. Part #s are 2500071, 0000000, 1974128, 2565557, 2573187. First page of the quote is attached.
I spent a lot of money $2332.84 and am very disappointed.
Can you confirm an order was ever placed? If so, when will it arrive?
