I did a wire transfer using bank of america in baltimore MD johns hopkins branch to my own account in India using SWIFT codes. I was told that india is a slow to pay country and it takes about 3 weeks and no investigations would be don't till then. It has been 2 and a half months and it hasn't gone through. My bank in india has not received any information regarding this from bank of america and the bank of america is not willing to help. Every time i contact them they tell me that they are sending e-mail to the bank in india to find the status and that the money is in india and nothing can be done about it and it is possible that i lose my money. I have no clue as to how to go about it.

Issues:
Since May 2017 Bank of America has held $400.00 of my money for which I have received no return.
I have spent almost $50.00 in fax fees sending documents.
With good credit and no late house payments it has been over four months since I first applied to refinance.
I am now being requested to refax documents I have faxed three times in the past four months.
Refaxing documents will cost me another $15.00

Conclusion:
After $25B+ in TARP money, Bank of America still cannot complete a simple refinance request.

I can only conclude Bank of America is incompetent.

I have no desire to have my home loan with an incompetent corporation.

Bank of American has basically ripped me off of $450.00.

I will refinance. But be assured I will not refinance, or have any further financial dealings, with Bank of America.

Looking for Class Action Suit to join - or start.

BofA cut my credit line in half - for no reason, no late payments - always paid 2x minimum. The next part you know, hours on the phone, AND people in India wanting to sell me credit protection for $10/month ! waste of time on email - no one cares, no one can tell you why etc. etc.

My credit then shows 98% of limit on this card, and the ding on my credit report alerts other cards. Wamu/Chase then closes a card because of the BofA thing. Again, 40% of limit on the card, no late payments - card closed for no reason, no notification - another ding on credit - and before you know it, because of no fault of your own - your credit is in the crapper.

There is a class action suit forming for Wamu based on inquiries mad on this site - so let's go get BofA. By reading the posts here it seems that there is a way for individuals to STOP BEING VICTIMS. Please post if you are aware of any suits to join for BofA.

On 8/11, I called BoA customer service in an find out why I received a letter stating my credit line was was being reduced from $3000 to $1000 on one of my three accounts.
Since I was frustrated by the attitude of the "account manager" I decided to just close the account and be done with it.
I figured I would just payoff the $800 balance when I got the bill.

Yesterday, 8/16, my wife's card was denied when she tried to purchase $30 in groceries with a second BoA card.
The card had a $2K limit and the I had the last bill with about $1000 balance on the account.
Another call to cust. serv. and found out that there was only $1060 on the account, but the credit line had been reduced on the 11th of August without any notice.

I pay off these cards on time & almost every month.
To my knowledge, I have no other problems with my Amex, Discover, Chase Bank credit card accounts.

When I checked the bill from then third account, I saw that the credit line was reduced, too.
I just got the bill today.

Someone should be taking back that bailout cash from these guys.

I used to work for Bank of America and as an employee they offered a benefit where if you used them to finance your home they would give you a $5000 loan and all you were required to do was pay the interest on it for the duration of the loan. I knew that would change when I decided to leave the company, and was prepared to pay back the remainder of the loan along with a reasonable interest rate...What I was not prepared for was to have my interest rate raised to 15.5%. Both my wife and I are on the loan and both of us have credit ratings over 750. I am not sure how two co-borrowers with such excellent credit ratings could get stuck with a 15.5% interest rate, and I would like to file a complaint

I've been a loyal customer of BofA and have been to the above branch for years. Today when I went into the Bank (inside the Lucky Store), I found people lining up at the ATM Machine but no one waiting at the counter. I approached the counter, a teller by the name of "Jacklyn" asked me what I need and I was told to use the ATM to deposit a check. I asked if I could deposit at the counter, she threw me a deposit slip to fill in (despite I've already slided my bank card showing my long list of accounts) and ultimately I've to fill in the slip (which I did for the first time in my experience at BofA) and after the deposit, she never asked if I need any other services. All thru the procedure, no greeting, no smile or word of thanks. I just wonder why BofA will hire such individual - there're tons of friendly tellers available in San Jose. Kindly look into it - customers will close account easily in view of today's competitive market.

I was offered a bonus of $50.00 if I open as second account, for 3 month and maintain a certain balance. 3 month later is was told I would not receive my bonus because I did not select auto-deposit. Bank of America has stated this was not something I needed to do. They would get my $50.00. I have gone to the bank. I have been told they are going to get my money. Months later, I was told 2 other people have complained. Lots of phone calls. Lots of trips to the bank. Now almost 4 months later... They are still putting me off. DO NOT BANK HERE...

8-22-09 Day 149 of refinance process. It took 4 months for underwriters to finally request tax returns, W-2's, etc. for the 2nd time around! What total incompetence they have for their refinance dept. With stellar credit, great employment, savings, IRA's and investment equity and never taken a loan on a piece of property before, I can't seem to get a loan. These folks are marginal at best in doing their job: Kevin Doyle especially. Every month a new "special customer service" employee contacts us with nothing to say but apologizes. Why did we (US taxpayers) give these losers TARP $? They are holding on it, while people are losing their homes, And for someone like me, not able to get a well deserved refinance rate. It's appalling, the total incompetence of the organization and their inept staff that the public must tolerate. There must be millions of us out there and we should form a class action suit (if there already isn't one) against their complete inability to get this economy back on it's feet. THEY were the people who got us into this mess in the first place and now they are keeping us mired up in "the runaround".

Ive been with the same bank since i was 16 even though they have changed the name a couple of time iam now 29 as of feb of nov 2017 i staeterd to have problams with the bank getting over draft fees and so one i wuld cash my pay check and go to the store before i went to work and and buy lunch and my card would be denied saying i have no founds even though i just put 500 in the bank i did not think much of it at the time till i lost my job in feb and started to get letters in the mail that i was over drawing my acount even though i was not touching it well i got that fixed and the money refunded back to me. then in june i was being charged over drafts for pending charges even though my records show the money had been takein out of my account but when i posted i was charged a over draft when i called the bank they tould me that if i bal my check book i would not of overdrafted well the thing is i do if i have $50.00 in the bank i use my card at a store and spend 40 of it that should leave me with 10.00 left so i would not take any more money out maybe 5.00 well when the pending charge would go through it would say i over drafted becuse the money was not there but on my online statement would say eveything is fine now just today i find out that they took 36.00 out of my account for a claim i had going on since feb they gave me a temp credit back then for 36.00 the one of the places that had takein money out gave me the 16.00 back and the other one never gave me the 19.00 so i get a letter saying that there records show they owe me 19.00 and it will be in my account on the 25th and today the 26th i had my unemployment put in my account in the amount og 86.00 you would think i should have 105.00 in my account well i called to see what i had and they tould me i only had 76.00 well confussed i calld the bank and they told me thta they had taken the 36.00 out since the one company refunded my money of 16.00 so i then asked why 36.00 was takin out when the other company never gave me the 19.00 back they said becuse then i would of been credited twice for the 19.00 even though i never received it from the other company so i asked why they had put 19.00 in my account and they told me cuse they owed it to me but on the other hand they took it back witch but at 13.00 less then what i would have now when i tould them i did not understand they said they had gotten the 19.00 from the company that owed me so i had said then i only owed the bank 16.00 since i got that back from the copanyand they said no i owed them 36.00 so i was told three different things it makes no sense ive ben treated like crap by the bank mgr when i went to the bank over 140.00 in over draftt fees i just had to deal with last week on pending trans that i made on the 14th and they went thrugh on the 17th when my money had gone through i went in to the bank when they opend and told the mgr i had a problem and the said to me good moring how are you today with a additude and would not help me intill i repeated it back to her then started to walk in her office and in the same tone said if i wanted to discuse it i need to follow her once in there i began to explain to her and tried to show her my stament i printed out at home and she said she had it on her computer and started to tell me was wrong and she was looking at somthing differnt and i was reading it wrong but she refused to look at my papers and then tould me to balance my stuff better when i tould her my check book said the same thing as my online statement she told me she wanted to see it i told her i did not have it with me witch i felt that was out of line i will say i did get loud with her i was very upset with how i was being treated at one point she turned the computer to me and said can you read this i said yes but my online says difrent and i dont understandshe then yelled at me can i read wht there stuff said and wanted me to read it out loud to her i then lost it and said i know how to f-ing read i was out of line with that i finally had enough when she told me i was not a nice person my boyfriend tried to explin why i was so upset i had stormed out of the bak and he stayed behind she gave him a copy on my stuff witch she had no right to do iam sooo done with this bank they steal ur money treat you like ### ive never had a prob lik this in my life iam now looking for a new bank and will have my account closed by the end of the week

Bank Of America is the biggest bank crooks in America. They charge you extended overdraft fees (twice) for the same amount that is overdrawn if past 5 days not paid. And the Secured Credit Card is awful too. In this recession you would think that they would not be so greedy. I have moved on to Chase Bank and they are fabulous.

On 26th of August, 2017, I went to B of A to request a comment on my account that I will be traveling overseas and will be using the ATM card out side of the U. S. In order to do that, I had to go to the bank and talk to one of the managers, or something. One of the people asked what I needed and I explained what I needed. He nicely suggested me to use their phone to make a call to Customer Service and get done since there were many people waiting prior to me. So I did what he said. Of course I was expecing some wait and it came out to me total of approximately an hour of my life. I got to talk to a couple people, but the last person I talked to, named Letoya, was very unpleasant and unkind. As a customer, I was a little upset for waiting to long, but she did not apologize for my waiting and was very grouchy from the beginnign when asking my personal information. It could be whole lot of work to tell the person on the other side of the phone 16 degits of my card number, and when I said it once, she without any apology asked me to repeat it once again. And when I asked if my account number would work, she strongly refused and required my 16degit debit card number. Understandable. What I needed was to ask them to put a little note on my account so I don't have to worry about my card not working in overseas and the note would be there permenantly unless I inquire to remove, she said the maximum day of the note would be 90 days. When I talked to the person at the bank, he did not mention anything about calling every 90 days to continue, instead he said it was a very easy thing to do. I made sure to Letoya if that she is sure of her verdict and she said "of course, i work here." Fortunately, I still was at the bank and talked to the guy I talked to earlier and he took care of it within 2 minutes. What was about the wait of 60 minutes over the phone and not being able to do what I asked for. It was a very unpleasant experience with the woman name Letoya. If she is to work for the customers, she needs to be pleasant to talk to even though she doesn't know what she is doing. She did not even try to take care of my problem which was not a difficult thing for her to do, and the way she treated a customer was very unprofessional. What Letoya at CA Customer Service for me after an hour of waiting was not worth it at all.

I have a "Fannie Mae" mortgage managed by Bank of America,
they will not even speak with me about mitgation of my mortgage, to help rescue it from foreclosure. I have called them no less the six times and spent hours trying to reach their mitgation dept to no avail. I thought the government gave the banks money to help rescue mortgages which are severely unside down and in imminent danger of going into foreclosure...BOA is cheating us citizens of the recovery money from the government.

THE WAY THEY POSTED THE TRANSACTIONS IN ORDER FOR YOUR ACCOUNT TO BE OVERDRAWN.. THIS HAPPENED TO ME FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS, MY DEPOSITS WERE NEVER ENOUGH NO MATTER HOW MUCH WE PUT IN OUR ACCOUNT, THEY ALWAY MOVED THE TRANSACTIONS AROUND SO THAT IT WOULD BE OVERDRAWN.

I am approaching my 4 month mark of re-fi process and they dont even contact me! I leave messages, even contacted a VP and it seems as though they totally ignore me. I actually contacted the BBB to complain. Only then do I get a message saying "Oh, we are sorry, but we are very busy." What good does that answer do me? They cant even provide a timeline for completion. This isnt right. It's a damn shame the govt is willing to give them our money and not even follow up to ensure its getting to the people. The customer service at BOA is absolutley the worst I have ever come across in any industry.

I check my bank of america account almost daily. And I try too keep money in it too avoid over draft fees. But no matter what I do they always hit me for two or four hundred dollars per month in over draft fees.
I have talked with them and asked if what is showen on my checking account is correct . ( debit card transactions and atm withdraws .) They told me it is correct. Therefor I should have no overdraft fees. But they still nail me for them.
They said that for every transaction, the amount is taken out and held for several days. And that it shows the new balance less that amount. So why the overdraft fees ? If that money has already been taken out. And the new balance reflects that. Why the overdraft fees? They wont tell me.

The same thing happened to me. I called and complained and they returned a fraction of what they purloined as fees.

I filed complaints with the BBB and the Office of the comptroller of currency.

I doubt that will help but at least I'm doing something about now.

I also filed a complaint through AFFIL. Check them out. You can contact your Congressman through them about this.

Bank of America, and their scandalous, outrageous larceny via usury fees must be stopped. I have been a Bank of America customer from the very beginning of the institution, as they'd taken over the bank I'd been with a decade before their inception. Every month, for decades, my husband has had a direct-deposit sent to our checking account, and from there I transfer funds to either savings or line-of-credit. This month, I did the same, and much to my surprise, I received a postcard in the mail showing four "overdrafts", which Bank of America paid, but fined me $140 in fees. I called to correct the obvious mistake, for our account had about $6000 available to us. One of the "bounced" debits was a book of stamps my husband purchased the day of his direct deposit;(before the deposit we had about $300 available.) Three other purchases, between $20-$30 also bounced. I noticed that the bank put a large check through on the same day as our deposit, but held my transfer out. Their explanation is that I did not make a transfer, that I made a payment. Call it what you will, I thought, the money is there, so USE it! Unfortunately, Bank of America intentionally held out the smaller purchases I had made, which should have cleared, but did not when submitted after the large check emptied my pre-paycheck balance of $300. They collected a $35 fee for four items by submitting the smaller debits--made days before the large debit--after the larger debit. It is my understanding that this is their regular practice; they claim they submit checks out-of-order so that they can put the larger--more important--checks through first. Everyone knows it's so they can bounce our checks. How'd they get my $140 anyway...I didn't even have enough for a book of stamps, according to them?!

I've spoken to six different "customer service reps"--a misnomer if there ever was one--and my branch manager, who said he'd refund me half of the fees. I said "no deal--Bank of America deliberately held out my transfer, and STOLE my money." Why should my husband and I, two very hard-working people, give Bank of America anything more than we already do: gigantic finance charges, on top of regular monthly fees, so they can keep OUR money. Incidentally...if one was to transfer money from one person's checking account to another's account in, say, California...it would be instantaneous. (I've done this.)It is such CRAP that they have to hold out transfers OR payments. That money was GOOD and already cleared and in our account. How DARE they take our money!

Go on to any number of sites by searching titles such as "Complaints Against Bank of America" or "Bank of America Rip-Offs" etc. These deceitful practices seem to be the norm. It is so sad, because so many of us struggle just to make ends meet. I am a student, part-time worker (of three jobs) and a mother of three. My husband works two jobs (including a graveyard shift.) I cried when they took the equivalent of 16 hours pay---FOR NOTHING!

Consumers BEWARE of Bank of America. They have managed to find a way of duping probably millions of "Americans" through their shady tactics. Their system is set up purposely to confuse and mislead the individual(s) trying to manage their accounts and therefore making it extremely easy to incur late charges and subsequent finance charges as well. After giving them multiple chances to redeem themselves, I have finally decided to cancel my accounts, and will NEVER AGAIN do business with them. BE CAREFUL in that they have a common practice in "saying" that you did not have enough funds in your account to cover payments that you are making (ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE IT - and KNOW YOU DO) in the name of AGAIN...hitting you with finance charges and late payments. They in fact WONT tell you your payment wasn't processed, returned, etc... they will just allow your account to rack up late fees, until you go to make another payment, or your credit card is declined, and you RUDELY find this out ON YOUR OWN. It would be interesting to know how much money they make from these shady practices alone. I can bet A LOT.

We are in the same boat. We decided to initiate the refinance of our home on March 16th at a local Bank of America branch. Here it is September 17th and we are still waiting. They have sent out an appraiser twice to our house. (first in April and the second in August). Our credit has been ran 3 seperate times. They have requested bank statements 3 seperate times. They projected us to first close on May 15. Then July 17 and now I just don't know. We have contacted and discussed our concerns with manager's/reps on many occassions and nothing is ever resolved.. They can only offer an apology and tell us they are still working on it. Here it is 6 months down the road and we are still waiting. What can we do?

I recently became unemployed. I have a mortgage loan with BOA. I contacted them in July 2017 and applied for their Financial Hardship program. I submitted all the required documentation within 2 business days. Their representative told me I had to wait 30 days for a response. Thirty days later I was informed that my application was denied because my income is from "unemployment benefits". I called numerous times to ask for reconsideration. The last call that I placed the account representative purposely hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager.

Then they started to harass me by calling me 6 times in one single day (twice and home and 4 times on my cell phone)

I've emailed Kenneth Lewis and his upper management and have received no response.

I had a checking and savings account with Bank of America which I opened 3 years ago when I worked in the United States. Every month since then, BOA will automatically transfer 25bucks from my checking to savings account. So recently when I visited United States for a vacation, I had the intention to spend the remaining balance in my BOA accounts.

As I was heading to Salt Lake City during the first part of my trip and unfortunately BOA doesn't really function in SLC, I had to transfer funds from my savings to my checking account since there was nothing left in my checking account. However, BOA only allowed me to withdraw a maximum of $500 per day. Left with no choice, I tried to curb my spending but unfortunately, I overspent on the last day. I went online to check the statements to find out if there'll be any charges incurred because of that. To my surprise, the bank only automatically transferred funds from my savings to checking account to fill up the deficit in the checking account and I did not see any charges incurred. Hence, I assumed that BOA will just automatically transfer the funds for me and didn't bother to go to the ATM machine to do any transfer of funds on my own.

The next day I left SLC and was in LA without any internet access. I continued to make purchases using my debit card. As I was on a packaged tour in LA, I'd no time to visit the banking center. So on the last day of my trip, I went to the ATM machine with the intention of checking my balance and withdrawing the full amount. I also wanted to print the transactions statement just to be sure that all transactions I've made were reflected accurately. I thought that a reputable bank like BOA would offer such a service but NO. The ATM machine doesn't allow me to print my transactions statement! And because of that, I have to assume that BOA, like all other banks in my home country Singapore, will withhold the amount from any pending transactions and reflect only the actual balance after deducting these pending transactions. I saw a balance of $164.48 in my savings account and withdrew $160. I thought that will be the end of the story.

When I returned to Singapore 2 days later, I went online to check my transactions just to see how much I've spent in total and to email the customer service that I wish to terminate my accounts. To my horror, I saw a deficit of $56! On further check, I realized that I've been charged for the overdraft protection fees ($10 each) on 4 occasions when the bank did the 'automatic' transfer of funds from my savings to checking account. Remembered I actually went online to check if I'd incur any charges for overspending the balance in my checking account? Yes the overdraft fee came only 2 days later and by that time I was already in LA and as I've mentioned, I'd no internet access nor the time to visit the banking center. I'm appalled to know that the bank has charged me on something that I wasn't aware of. Is it my mistake to spend within the overall balance in my accounts?

And the worst thing is, I discovered the bank hadn't cleared all the transactions and had not reflected the actual balance in my account on the day when I went to withdraw the remaining funds in my account. And because of that, I was told I withdrawn more than the balance in my account and was charged a further $35. This is RIDICULOUS! How can the bank allow something like that to happen?

I did an online chat with the customer service to explain about my situation but was frustrated as the personnel was of no help at all and kept insisting that they'd found no bank error. I was told I had to wire transfer $56 to fill up the deficit before I can close my accounts. And there'll be another $35 charged if I do not do so within 6 days.

This whole situation is clearly not my fault as firstly, the bank had not informed me about the overdraft protection fee – I do not need this feature in my account as I am only spending within the limits of my OWN money! It is ridiculous that I’ve to pay $10 for this so-called “automatic” transfer of funds. Secondly, the bank doesn’t offer a comprehensive list of services at the ATM machine. I can’t even print my transactions statement so how was I supposed to know whether there are still pending transactions? And lastly, the bank did not reflect the actual balance in my accounts. I see $164.48 in my balance and only withdrew $160. I wouldn’t have withdrawn that amount if only the bank had reflected my ACTUAL balance.

Now that I’ve already left US, it made it even harder for me to settle the issue with BOA. I even emailed the customer service in hope that they can assist in waiving these unnecessary charges but was told I’d to call as they couldn’t assist me via email. This entire episode is just absurd and a waste of my time and money.

Can anyone please advise me on how I should fight for my case?

Let me be bold... (I am usually humble) I have no debt of any kind. None! I'm rich. I travel/vacation out of country more than half of every year. I own 6 rental houses. I live in a 3, 000 square foot home next to a golf course that I paid for in cash on the same day that I bought it. I have approximately half a million dollars invested, even after the us stock market collapse. I have $100, 000 set aside for emergencies.

I have a 842 fico score. I had a $49, 900 credit line with mbna. I always paid on time.

In may of 2017 mbna cut my credit line in half without telling me while I was traveling out of country for 4 months. For no reason. (They admit this openly. )

I called, and the lady convinced me to apply for a credit increase whereupon it was reduced again to 12, 000 since I quote, "wasn't working"? After telling me I applying for an instant "increase"?!?! She did this while I was on the phone to complain about the 25k limit reduction!

I'm rich. I'm travel. It's illegal for me to work in canada while i'm skiing at a resort for 4 months. Sucks to be me I guess... Lol however, this was my only card I used because it had a $49, 900 credit limit. I had even canceled others. They cut me off at the kneecaps and I have a perfect credit record.

How does this affect me? I buy houses at public auction. I must pay cash for houses by the end of the same business day that I buy them. That means coming up with up to $200, 000 cash in less than 5 hours. I don't want to remove the cash from somewhere where it's earning money like stocks until i'm sure that have won a house at auction. I win a house, then I get the shortest term loans I can, and start cashing out stocks. Bank loans are 6 month, and cost a lot in interest. The credit card I can pay off in less than a month and cost me nothing. (I used the card as a fast cash buffer. )

Now, if I have to have $200, 000 sitting in an account doing nothing waiting for the day I might buy a house, I will lose money on it.

With my credit limit being decreased by mbna, I have lost my buffer to transfer funds. What they have done will cost me money and affect the value of the homes that I can purchase.

Let me confirm:
Arbitrary limit cuts are a tool to reduce mbna's relationship with less profitable borrowers (The ones that pay their bills with higher credit scores. )

Arbitrary limit cuts are used as an excuse to end a relationship with undesirable borrowers that don't use their cards much or run their credit up to the top of their limit. (Card holders that don't make them money. )

Mbna has affected my livelihood for no reason other than the fact that I don't make them money. I was faithful to them, and always paid before my bills were due.

This is the reward I get for being a good customer all these years?

Thanks mbna. You've lost my trust and my money from now on... I will avoid you like the plague and advise anyone I know to never use bank of america and advise them to remove their existing investments with you as I have.

This is similar to what happened to me, except that it happened at a time when I had just qualified and settled on my first ever home.

I filled out one of the BOA Option checks (max credit line of 26000) for 10, 000 for the purpose of re-arranging some debts. Then I found out I didn't need that extra money after all, so I re-deposited the money back to the account, bringing my balance back down to the original 13, 000. When I received the next month statement, they correctly showed the redeposit of the money, but had kept my payment due as calculated for the higher amount of 23, 000. When I called BOA and talked to a representative, he refused to do anything about reducing the monthly payment, because he said, I shouldn't be able to afford my monthly payments with the house now. So I was unable to change their mind over the monthly payment, but I thought, whatever else, I'll be paying that debt down much quicker now, so I left it alone.

But then to add insult to injury, BOA has now reduced my credit line to one-half of what it originally was, not only on that account, but also on two other accounts that had originally been opened with MNBA, which BOA later took over through their financial aquisitions.

I'm already in my first house, so that's a done deal and not in jeopardy.

However, BOA has done damage to my Credit rating by reducing my limits with no reasonable cause. I've not been late on any payments to them or ever given them cause to regard me as a difficult customer. Having just been through the loan approval process, I'm now familiar of how loan officers look at these credit accounts (50% or less of limit is acceptable). This unwarrented action on BOA's part impacts my ability to get proper approval on a Home Loan or HELOC, which I was counting on since I purchased this Bank-owned forclosure.

It seems to me that BOA want's me to fail, after all.

What can I do? Class Action Lawsuit anybody? Write the President?

Since CounrtyWide went out of business last year Bank of America has taken over. In the past 6 months my mortgage has gone up $350.00 dollars a month, and they did it without notification sent to me. Being upset about what is going on, I called Bank of America to discuss why? First I get a person that can't speak any english trying to explain to me why it was going up 350.00. So I hung up on him, and dialed back back in. In hopes of getting someone who I can understand. Luckily I did. We started to discuss why my mortgage went up 350.00 per month. Supposeably they re-assesed my town taxes on the house. Which was ok, because I had been asking CountryWide to do this since day one. But because I had been short for so long in my esgrow because of CounrtyWide which I was caught up with, they wanted me to pay ahead for any shortages that I may inccur within the year due to be deliquient with CounrtyWide. I said NO take that off, but I couldn't take it off totally, I still get charged 18.00 per month. My mortgage is pretty high for one person to pay, and here it is again, and now they want to raise my mortgage again. They sent a notice this time that they are anticipating my taxes, and insurance are going up this year. I find this rediculous, because they keep raising my mortgage premuturely, and the cost keeps going higher and higher, and no-one to help us. No wonder people under Back of America are forclosing on their home. Now my choice is to hopefully re-finance my home, if not it may go into forclosure. Thanks BAC!

Bank of America has been calling my house 3 to 4 times a day offering identity theft services. This has been going on for the past 9 months. We've told them we are not interested and do not call anymore. It hasn't worked. I asked them to take me off their list and they say it takes 30 days and they call AGAIN soon after. My solution is to harass them until they take my number off. Bank of America is the worst bank ever. They've resulted to verbal terrorism to sell a useless product and should be held accountable!

This is an outrage! the same thing has happened to me, we are helping the banks recover, when we are not able to recover ourselves. someone needs to put a stop to this before we are homeless too : ))) (How can anyone recover from this)

Iwent through the same thing you did. I finally closed with the help of the manager of my local BofA.

Bank critisized me and haassled me telling me I am wrong for making a payment on the 8th when it was due on 28th. I paid triple amount yet they claim since I didnt pay on time (Meaning in the time they wanted which was from the 9th til 5 or 6pm on 28th then I would be penalized charged late and over limit fee plus have to pay a min pmt the following month of an extra $460 more than normal even though again I paid triple min pmt 20 days b4 that bill was due. But they claim the cant accept pmt until at least 12 days elapse from the date the prior bill was due. Im not allowed to pay my bill for the first 12 days in the billing period, I have to wait and pay at last minute in order not to get charged a late fee and over limit fee that any interest / penalties for paying on time would incur me.

Apparently if I pay my bill which is due on the 28th on the 29th, 30th, 31st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th then that will not be tolerated by the bank and I will get penalized. They want me to wait until the 9th to pay my bill due on 28th? Even if I pay my bill within the same month its due, they will back date it to the bill that was due, paid, and credited the previous month if I attempt to pay b4 the 9th. They are encourageing and demanding I wait til the last minute and refusing payments the first half of the month practically. I hope these ppl go out of bsiness. It is not legal to refuse payments then lie and say it wasnt paid. They have the nerve to claim I skipped the sept pmt and that I paid two payments for the month of august. How the f*** coul a payment made on september 8th be considered for august? Liars cheaters thiefs

Excuse me, I work in a call center for a bank, we just can't get up from our job and simply get in our car to come help you, it is something we can't do and that's that, if that's what ur wanting from a bank than you people have a problem,

I am also a customer with Bank of America, and I have gone round for round with them about NSF fees. when you pull up your online banking and shows you the ledger look to the left hand side of the screen and it says something like (available balance details) or something to that effect...when you click on those little blue words it shows you exactly what has triggered a fee at when the purchase was made. BOA also gets you another way...they backward reconcile your account everyday, meaning if you have 5 charges and the largest one is 100.00 (just an example) and the rest are smaller they deduct the 100.00 first and then so on down the line even if the last 2 charges are for 1.50 each if those 2 put you in the negative then they charge you 2 seperate NSF fees totaling 70.00. They are shady in that respect.

Rip -offs in TRAINING? Sweetie, BOA are the EXPERTS in rip-offs! I have a very low credit card balance with Bank of America, (and is currently a negative balance.) Each month, I have a REGULARLY scheduled, INTERNAL TRANSFER payment to cover the payment. Last month, without telling me, they SECRETELY CHANGED the due date so TWO $100 payments were made in August (making me make an EARLY payment) and (by ONE day) NONE regulary scheduled MONTHLY payment was made in September which allowed these rip-off artists to charge me a $15 late fee for an EARLY, yes EARLY payment - due to THEIR secret change! Then, the following month, they actually charged me a FINANCE charge on a NEGATIVE credit card balance. A charge for a NEGATIVE balance? How criminally low-life can these cowardly criminals get?
Our Congress needs to come down hard on these greedy banking criminals and reel in their unethical, country-destroying, damaging behaviors which results in ripping food money right out of the hands of hard-working citizens.
