Wrongfully banned account.
Hello friends,
I am trying to re open my case that was Assumed Resolved. My Call of Duty account was banned and was never unbanned. Wrongfully I believe. I have put so much money and time into this account. In fact, I encourage you at Activision to verify how much money and time I put in. I got scammed by your company and have not been able to play since about May 3rd or so when I logged into my banned account Coldypwnz#5431864. Funny thing was... I was still, and still am, able to play Call of Duty Vanguard with the same account. That account being Coldypwnz#5431864. I even grinded some camos while waiting for my potential unban. So. If i am using "unauthorized software" why can I continue to play this game on this account? I would LOVE to hear the response to that. I can play Vanguard but not Warzone/MW? Seems a bit odd dont you think? I have purchased countless things, collectable, wonderful bundles from the COD Store. The Reason of my ban was "unauthorized software" but I have none such on my pc. Can you articulate AT ALL exactly what software you have detected? I would very much like to know to avoid any future penalties. So again. Articulate what software was detected. Lift my ban and let me play the game I enjoy the most. Please return my valuable account back to me.

Breach of contract
I was a subscriber to the MMO-RPG called World of Warcraft. As part of the subscription, a person is allowed to log into their servers, play the game, post messages in their text chat channels, post on their online forums, and speak in their voice chat.
On June 22, 2022, Blizzard Entertainment knowingly and willingly violated this contract by blocking my ability to post in their text chats and their online forum.
Blizzard Entertainment said they "silenced" my account to due " abusive language multiple times". They did not say what the abusive langue was.
In response to a Better Business Bureau complaint, Blizzard Entertainment stated that the "abusive language" was in fact a bible verse. They additionally said that the penalty was in place due to spamming, although they did not say this in their initial complaint. This was something they added after the BBB complaint.
1) Blizzard Entertainment's Terms of Service makes no mention of bible verses being abusive. Their Terms of Service uses vague, unenforceable language, stating only that "abusive" language is prohibited, but leaving the word undefined. It is up to the individual employee to define what "abuse" is, and this can change between employees or even the same employee depending on his mood, political or religious persuasion, or any number of factors, making it impossible for anyone to know or follow.
Additionally, contract law, which the Terms of Service falls under, required contracts to be specific in their terms, and any ambiguity falls to the favour of the person who did not write the contract, which in this case is the customer.
When is comes to the term abuse, we must also look at the type of language allowed by Blizzard Entertainment. These public text channels allow political vitriol, hated, racism, sex, adult humour. These posts are done continually and without penalty. Blizzard Entertainment can not single out a bible verse as abusive when it allows these others posts to continually be posted.
2) Blizzard Entertainment claims posting the same message to multiple channels is "spam". However, Blizzard allows multiple messages to the same channel when it comes to advertisements, people looking for groups, or guild ads. Blizzard Entertainment is simply prohibiting my posting because it is of a religious nature contrary to their own enforcement.
Courts have ruled that public spaces, even on private property, must allow free speech when speech is allowed. By allowing others to express opinions, Blizzard Entertainment is required by Court to allow my expression as well.
Blizzard Entertainment has violated the contract between us by blocking my ability to post in text chats and on their forum.

this is a catch 22 of sorts. while it is true that moderators do check for "infringers" of the rules it is not always their reason to check your posts [in this case]. sometimes they look the other way if the post does not detract or cause disruption to the thread. if someone found your post offensive and reported it then they will look at the post and compare it to the report. if there is multiple reports on your posts, then they dont have a choice and must "silence" the account. your posts might have un intentionally offended someone and they reported your posts. the other side of the coin is someone might have revenge reported you for some reason. these are posted in the TOS, CS, and the EUA that they sent out.
Though this is based off what i understand from the TOS, CS, and EUA along with being for a differnt site an admin.

This company constantly advertises in game services often offering "special limited deals" The time limited ones are usually only offered when you are logged into the game.

Playing games that this company offers to clients for almost 15 years I have not encountered such a problem and I have never been punished previously, currently my account is suspended but if it expires in a few days, I will not be able to play even in a situation where I have paid for for access to servers, because at any time they can impose another suspension for me, for a reason that will not be known to me or will be given to me, but I will be informed that the duration of the suspension is longer than it should, but we cannot tell you why this company does not disclose to the public what penalties may be the player gets if it comes to the given offense.
I do not know if they have such an obligation or not and it is a company that offers services.
Other companies have such information publicly, a simple example is the steam platform
I cannot understand the logic of thinking of people who work in this company, how can a client be punished for offenses or breaking a given article in the regulations.

In the TOS, EUA, and CS they do list the penalties for violating the rules. as for your situation i'm not clear on what your saying. in the start you mention they did tell you but then later say they did not tell you.
did they tell you the reason or not? so i can give you better suggestions to fix this or to make this more understanding for you.
if they mentioned your blocked for a week then i don't think it will be unlocked 2 days later. from what i recall they increase the time of the ban based off reports against you. minor things don't get [unless it changed] perma banned but can be increased from 24 hours to a week depending on the reports and how detrimental the infraction is.
though i don't work for them so i can't give a definite reason.

Wiring in desperation to complain about treatment of Blizzard customer of 18 years. Have never received any bans or even warnings throughout all those years. Temporarily ban was issued on the account
2 separate emails with 2 different causes for the ban. Then a third was thrown into with account sharing via char. So to begin with, which one was the cause for the ban?
I have logged appeal ticket and basically was brushed off without any explanations GM even refused to provide the date of violation, so I can at least tie it to my actions. I do have 2 accounts I pay for, which could be easily clarified and verified via credit card info on the accounts, and nowhere in the "code of conduct" it is listed that you can not play on 2 legit accounts at the same time. If it is really a breech of contract, I would expect a warning of some sort, but not a 30 day ban, as I can't read between the lines... Please help

Diablo two resurrected on xbox
Diablo 2 resurrected. The time it is taking me to load into a game I have created is too long. I can create a game and invite a friend after several seconds of loading and when I finally load into the game my friend(s) are already loaded in and have begun playing. I wont even attempt the game on hardcore because of this issue. I have died after using a waypoint to travel and before my screen showed anything other than loading my mercenary had already died in combat and as soon as I finally loaded I was surrounded and half dead. This game is beloved by many and it draws a very specific type of player in. Your hardcore Fanbase. This game is seems to be a casual reminder of d2 from long ago. Some other changes need to be made but nothing is more pressing than having your new game running like an old beauty. Please fix the amount of time it takes console players to load in!

Since January 15, 2022, I have been unable to launch Overwatch for some reason. Every time I press the Play button for overwatch, the Overwatch tab briefly pops up before closing out without me doing anything. This hasn't happened before, although I have dealt with some lag and crashing issues previously. I am completely unable to play or even launch the game.
Desired outcome: I would like to be able to launch and play Overwatch again.
Account ban for a misunderstanding
Hi i am Massoud from Iran. Unfortunately, for the second time, my account was closed due to a misunderstanding that had already occurred. But this time when I appealed, they were for no reason. Evidence . Explanation. I was told that the ban would not be lifted and my requests would be ignored in the future and they closed the ticket. Even a little later, I got the opportunity to chat online, but after my explanation, GM only said: the ban will not be lifted and they can not explain further. And then stopped chatting. This is really insulting and completely racist because they may have had my account with me because of the country. I'm sorry but I only play games and only Warcraft world games make me happy. The reason for these bans does not concern me. Please be fair. I did not use the third-party application (VPN) for any non-virtual work. I have to use it for Warcraft games because it is not possible without it. I took a screenshot of a report I received from a reputable WorldFence site. My IP is shared with someone who attacks WorldPress sites for using a free and weak VPN.
Desired outcome: I am not a hacker. I'm not a robot. I did not commit any crime. The only thing that worries me is the time, money and energy I spent on my account games. :)

I received this game as a gift on 10/08/2021. As per the gamemaster's admission, I have 9 hours 57 minutes of activity on the game. Since the game's release, it has been riddled with bugs and server downtime which has made the game unplayable. In one case, my game crashed resulting in 20 minutes of progress undone. Others have had hours of progress undone due to character rollbacks, and most importantly, the servers are down so often as to question whether they're down more often than they're up.
I sent in a support ticket asking for a refund of the game, which was answered in a few hours with a rather firm rejection of a refund due to the amount of activity on the game. I responded in more detail and explained why a refund is not out of the question given the activity on the game is not at an unreasonable amount. They responded with another rejection on the same grounds. This has continued for 4 responses now, and I thoroughly expect the fourth response to be a firm rejection of my refund request.
I am not asking for anything unreasonable here. By Blizzard's own admission, their server status is not working properly since release, and tens of thousands of players, if not more, do not have access to the game. To any reasonable person, and through any other retailer, this would justify a refund of the product without much hassle. I have had to spend considerable time responding to these vague rejections on grounds that, frankly, are ridiculous.
I will add that the fact that they have no means to call and speak to a customer service representative is shady and designed to reduce legitimate complaints against them as support tickets are easily dismissed, whereas a call from a customer complaining about their purchase is not as easily ignored. Finally, what little customer service this company provides is horrendous as the ticket is handed off to different CSR's each time, so they can't even be bothered to assign a specific person to a specific ticket.
Desired outcome: A full refund of the game.

Stop — with these ridiculous oversized updates... Please hire a German or smth. I am a programmer and there is 0 justification for these oversized updates, this just screams inefficiency. Again... Hire a German to replace whoever is in charge now of this BS... Blizzard is demonstrably racist in their game configuration.
Diablo 3, had one of their six characters. The one Black character is by far the weakest build, and when a new build for the one Black character, Mundunugu had abilities on first launch it was downgraded three different times. What is the ultimate worse during team play it is blamed for internet lag and routinely routinely booted off as players believe it is the reason for jittery game play. No one chooses to play with the one Black character. In addition the abilities of like angry chicken 🐔 is insulting as a strength feature, when chickens are known for fearfullness and being someone's dinner. Plus in the new Diablo 4, the are NO Black characters.

I've personally been playing this game for around 14 of the last 16 years, a break here and there, but consistently been playing it. Back around 5 years ago the GM team was a bit more forgiving and forthcoming with information, mistakes made on their end, resolutions for errors, etc. I had a toon blocked on a server because I received a refund on a race-change I had ordered and then got refunded after I changed my mind on the purchase. The toon became errored out and stuck in transition so I could not transfer it to another realm. I had to use the faction change, once I did, and then faction changed back, transferred, and paid for a name change ($65 total) Blizzard took zero responsibility for the error in the first place, said that I was reading it incorrectly and that is not what it said; I took a screen shot and showed them, they denied it. This is the typical Activision/Blizzard behavior, get an error/have an error, blame the customer, yet the customer changes nothing and error miraculously disappears. Coincidence? I think not. Terribly greedy company, they're turning into the next Trion. I really hope a game coming out soon made by Amazon studios crushes their player-base and we all move onto much better worthy development teams.
I have spent thousands of dollars on services, and tokens over the 14 years I have played in this game, they refuse to give me a $15 credit for an error on their end. Ridiculous. Blizzard GM's suck, and the company overall is [censored] now in 2021.

I have been playing this game for a long time and obviously many people are already unhappy with how you run this game. Never giving gold and charging unrealistic prices for packs. The point is you need to fix paladin. You may have may changes but it is still far better than any class. Fix your game so people like me a long time player can enjoy it.

I submitted 2 tickets on my account being hacked and all I got was a "open" status on it but no other info. I've supplied my id and other needed info to them about 3 times and still nothing and it's been 3 days! How am I suppose to know what's going?! I'm very frustrated because I spent so much money on blizzard! I bought call of duty twice! Just to play on my pc but I can't seem to get any response. I was in a game of open queue, my internet broke down, I rejoined in time and we still won. now I got an hour suspension, AND lost 50 sr WHILE WE WON?! I want compensation for this poor quality service. I want my SR restored, and now I cant play competitive for an hour because of YOUR FLAW. I'm getting really tilted by this as you can imagine, now I'm locked out because of this non sense. I would like a compensation in whatever way, because I'm about to just delete Overwatch and post my experience on social media.
OP i know this is late but this is not a fluke. its a anti cheat mechanic that is in about 99% of MMO games that have pvp matches. some people in the past have disconnected their network to evade loosing, rejoin the same game and move on to win cause the system reset their health.
Though i will say it does need tweaks. in WOW when you DC, get kicked out of a group for unknown reasons, or leave a toxic group you immediately get a debuff preventing you from joining a new que for a new group. i have had that debuff way to many times for something as simple as being booted from a group just cause i pressed need on armor i needed as a upgrade to current gear. they should have a pop up window made for when something like this happens so you can explain your self then the program checks that vs the reason you left the group [DCED or kicked out.] if i left cause we were loosing then debuff. if i left cause it was toxic no debuff.
in your case it would be you DCed so the system should have been more forgiving.
Unjustified revocation of service
I have been a Blizzard customer for 12 years, and am well aware that people frequently swear in-game. Swearing is not against the EULA, as there are not one, but TWO ways to avoid seeing someone else's communication in game if you don't like how they talk.
On the 31st of July 2020, I was suspended from World of Warcraft for swearing at other players. I've never encountered another player in-game (at least not on Australian servers) who doesn't swear. In Oceanic culture, it's actually considered rude NOT to swear at someone.
When I appealed this action, I was given a snarky response by someone referring to themself as 'Loctarzidix' - a name I had to copy and paste into this complaint and certainly wouldn't know how to pronounce. They than closed the ticket without giving me an opportunity to respond, meaning I had to wait another full day to receive another reply, probably from a different person.
Not only is this action completely unjustified, but disputing it is an absolute nightmare. Activision needs to pull their head out of their backside and realise that they are not in the position to decide what people get to say on their platform, as they are not a publishing outlet, and are therefore not actually affiliated with their customers and have NO RIGHT to DICTATE what we may and may not say in their game.
2 issues with your complaint.
1. While activision does own blizzard their agreement is that they wont interfere in the workings.
2. Swearing isnt banable unless someone finds it offensive. If someone finds it offensive it is against TOS.
