We have applied passport for my newborn daughter. In UAE you should stamp visa within 120 days from the date of birth, now the passport stuck with BLS, we ran out of grace peroid. We are fed up, of BLS service in Dubai, We want right change soon, Their tracking system is not working, and they are not answering any call, We were left in dark after we given our valuable passport to BLS. Please do the needful if you can do something.

I was applied for OCI card through BLS. after submitting my application for a one week, i could not be able to track my application online. No body receive my phone. Then I mail them, and go response regarding my application and able to track my application, though it was late for some days, still I get my OCI card without any hassles. I think this people are improving day by day. Thanks for the support.Happy and satisfied with BLS

Is there any use of complaining about BLS on this website?! The folks in the Consulate or Indian Ambassador should made aware of the issues folks are facing dealing with any process. I personally had applied for OCI in US and there was some issue but I was never intimated. I did not receive any conformation that they received my package or there is an issue, there are no clear instructions - its pathetic the level of instructions on the US site. Also some of the instructions to complete OCI from are incorrect and based on OLD OCI forms - they have just copied the material from Travisa site and put on their site without checking for any updates or changes. If there is an issue they should send an email or mail to inform the applicant. Fortunately I happened to checked online and saw there was an issue with my application so called them, I got different feedback each time I called. They still don't know how to handle this, and they don't understand that folks are entrusting very critical documents. INDIAN CONSULATE PLEASE DO SOMETHING!

I submitted PIO card for new passport endorsement three weeks ago and have a trip coming up and have not heard anything back. All the documents I submitted to get the pio card had to resubmitted. what a waste to time and shameful procedures. What is point of pio card when visa can be granted in 3-5 days and pio endorsement for new passport takes three weeks?

BLS, in New York is an absolute embracement to the Indian government; I recently applied for a travel visa to India and followed all the steps with great care to ensure that there will not be a problem. Well that’s what I thought, it seems like India has its own version of the English language which only they understand my application was rejected because, the application asked: “WHERE was the passport issued” to which I asked, United States of America. I was told that the correct answer was, Department of State... that not what the question asked. My application was reject once again because the signatures did not match which I do not even what to get into right now, then they rejected my husband application because it issued two money orders, one to renounce his Indian passport and the second for the visa which is what the visa application center asked us to do, only to be rejected because we were given incorrect information. My husband and I are seasoned travellers have gone to many underdeveloped countries like India I have never experience such a level of ignorance, lack of respect and distrusting treatment from any other visa processing company. The visa application process is the first impress of a country and I have to say that I am shocked by the Indian government and have redacted my visa application to India, of to Brazil for us.

I applied for a PIO card for my daughter in the BLS office New York. Every thing went fine till the tracking message showed...Your Passport has been dispatched on XX-XX-XXXX 17:26:41.Please check the status on the Courier Company's website post 48 hours. I tried tracking it after 48 hrs on FedEx. Nothing came up. I send an email to FedEx and got the reply that they haven't received the document. I called up BLS. They said it has been dispatched. Then I told them to track and tell me the status...but no way they could give me an update on it. The customer care guy told me that he has filed a complaint and gave me the complaint number and assured me that I will be getting a call within next day morning. No calls came. I called BLS again and told him the complaint number and the guy right way said...that I have to wait one more day to get a call as I file complaint only yesterday and it takes 24 to 48 hours to get a reply! (In the first call they said within 24 hours!)...then I said forget about the complaint talk about the application, what is the status of application...he tracked it and said it has been dispatched...I replied him...I have been hearing it for a week and if it has been dispatched tell me the current status. He tracked at FedEx site and replied there is no information...I asked him then where is the passport?...he replied that he will transfer me to the supervisor...what he really did was put me back in the queue...and disconnected! I called again...another agent took the phone...said he is Frank :)...I gave the complaint number...he said there is no complaint filed with this number!...asked him to look again...he said there is!...Then he said 'congratulations sir, it has been shipped!...I said I've been hearing it for the last one week...then he said I will have to wait 48 to 72 hrs to get an answer!..(first person said 24hrs, 2nd one said 24 to 48, 3rd one said 48 to 72 hrs!)...I asked me to send me an email about the dispatch...he said they are not allowed...I asked him to transfer the call to the supervisor...he said all supervisors are busy...then I asked me to give his full name...he said Frank Dawson! I told him to give me his 'real' name...then he said that is his real name...I asked him give his native land's name...disconnected...so far I have no idea what happened to the passport...the WORST service in the world BLS International...

We have applied for our OCI card from USA about 5 Months back through BLS. They are telling me from one month that my OCI card and Passport are ready for collection but not posting me. Customer service is so bad. We are getting ready to take legal complain in US court against them. Please put complaints against them so that we can have a strong case against them.

BLS International is a stupid company that is run by idiots. we had a walk in apt on Oct 14 to submit my kids passports for OCI (One for a re-issue and the other for a new OCI). I was asking to submit a new application with notarization for the 2nd child. I sent all the info by certified mail. Then I was asked to provide last 4 pages of parents US passport and old passport of kid for the 1st kid. I sent everything on Nov 27. After that I get an email mid Dec saying I need to send a notarized application for 1st kid's reissue if not my application is going to be returned. Had several phone conversations with several BLS folks and finally submitted an escalation ticket. They asked me to send the notarized application. I sent it. I reopened the ticket and asked them the status and they said everything is sent back. I called BLS office and the lady keeps saying I need to send the last 4 pages of the US passport of parents. What kind of games are these idiots playing. They think I have nothing to do but keep sending documents back and forth. I am tired of this visa process. Please let me know of a way to submit a complaint to the Indian Embassy about this ### company.

BLS International is the worst company ever! I have been trying to get a touch with someone in the New York office, but it is impossible! BLS did not get my package, and UPS is trying to track down where it went but they noted to me that noone from their office is picking up the phone and hence they can not find out where the package is. I submitted a ticket through their website, and no responses as of right now. This is getting really really frustrating.

Subject – Mishandling of my family OCI case by BLS.

CASE – 1 –
I applied OCI transfer application for my son as he got his new passport . On advice of BLS representative I have sent out all required documents with original USA passport. Once BLS received all documents in October 2013 they have used self-address envelope I had send with package so they can send all documents back when everything is processed .
After waiting for 3 months they send me all documents and put a penalty on me of $28/- as shipping charges and with a note that my son’s application will be in pending state when I apply again till I paid this amount..
I should not be responsible for any penalty as its BLS responsibility to keep employees with immigration knowledge.

CASE -2
I applied for OCI card for me and my family ( Wife and daughter) and when it’s approved, I sent out all 3 USA passports to get OCI card stamped .
I have received only mine USA passport but not for my wife and daughter . Their cases are showing “Ready for collection your us passport and oci card”.
I sent out self-address paid envelope with my OCI application which you already used in sending mine USA passport . Its BLS responsibility that if I had applied as family then you should send out package as family, I will not be held responsible for BLS MISTAKES.

I will appreciate if you please look in to these cases and tell BLS to remove any penalty they have put on my son’s passport and send out my wife and daughter’s passport ASAP free of charge as I don’t have any desire to take a one day leave and drive for 2 hours at BLS office.

I am attaching all supporting documents with this letter .
1) Letter from BLS for demanding $28 in my son’s case .
2) Status printouts of my wife’s and daughter’s case.

Thanks

All I can say is BLS must have paid off some politician to get this contract. They are a bunch of incompetent, unprofessional ###s. I don't believe they even comprehend the supporting documentation they are requiring you to submit when applying for OCI/PIO, visas etc. They do not have the courtesy to respond to status inquiries either on their web site and the phone numbers provided do not work. To frustrate/discourage applicants, your paper work is returned to you demanding more money. Their web site is a joke with conflicting information about their requirements to apply for OCI/PIO. If they keep this up they may soon find themselves out of business and good riddance to them when that happens!

I attended the BLS offices in Dubai to obtain tourist visas for myself and my wife. I had applied for 6 month multiple entry visas as I am about to go on a cruise from Singapore to Dubai that calls at 4 ports in India. The cruise requires payment 60 days prior to embarkation so I wanted to ensure that I had the visas required in my passport before paying the remainder of the cruise price. BLS rudely informed me that I was stupid applying for a 6 month visa as I would probably only receive a 3 month one. I was then told that unless I signed a disclaimer, they would refuse my application. Left with no choice, I signed the disclaimer and they allowed my application. I received both passports back and one had the correct 6 month multiple entry visa but the other one had a 6 month double entry visa which is of no use to me. When I finally got through to them, they said that it was nothing to do with them as they do not issue the visa. They could not tell me how to rectify the situation. After paying AED 1720 for the "service", I feel as though I have been pickpocketed even before I get to India. The charge of AED 225 for the "premium lounge" is a joke. The sofas that we sat on had graffiti all over them and we were only offered one drink despite being there for some time.

Guys - this BLS service is a shame! this is the first exposure to india that foreigners will get when applying from dubai..and this really sends the wrong image! I was trying to get a visa to go to india in June, and the guy (Some Shahad Khan) there keeps asking me for additional docs each time! He also wants me to give him an address in my home country...which i left at birth!...i really don't have an address in my home country but he insists on one...feels like the guy just wants an address there even if its ' Neverland Valley, Mars..''...but the biggest joke about BLS : they rejected my business visa application because i wasn't wearing a suit!...So if i don't wear a suit, means I'm not a business man!...Mark Zuckerberg willl probably not be able to get a business visa for india then...I had to get a new photo taken, and the visa was then approved!

one of the worst passport services you can expect, they are more Ali Baba (cheaters) than service provider. They will try as much as possible to pin point your mistakes like form filling, courier service, xerox copies (repeated personal experience), etc. I am not sure how indian govt. tolerate this as they are shame.
