he had no lights on whats so ever no signal of any kind
there was a car coming an he could have been badly hurt

canada post counter clerk employee
On Friday February 10th, 2017 I went to the counter of the rural post office.
I live in Manitouwadge Ontario since last October.
There are two employees working here. One is bilingual French/English and the other one is unilingual English. This is the person I wish to file a complaint about.
I started speaking to her in French and she replies: ''I don't speak French!''
I quite innocently mention to her that she is very privileged to be working for Canada Post and being unilingual. She mentions, no I am not. I don't have to be bilingual to work here.
I reply that is because we live out in the boondocks, otherwise in a big city you would need to be bilingual. And she replies, ''No I don't have to. Manitouwadge is not a bilingual town.'' And I inform her:''It has nothing to do with the town. Canada Post is bilingual.'' And she repeats ''Manitouwadge is not bilingual.'' Seriously?
There was more arguing until I finally figured it wasn't worth it.
Then I tell her ''Anyways, I did not come here to argue with you. How much is it for this package?'' She replies '' $ 18.95!'' So I ask her: '' What do you mean $18.95! I've never paid this much for a bubble envelope!'' ( 4'' x 5'' approximateley) She sees me looking at the envelopes on the wall and then she says $12.95. So I tell her '' Boy! we sure have to be careful or our comments here because you sure are fast to charge us more!'' And she replies : '' Right On!''
I looked at her and told her ''You know, this is exactly the kind of abuse of authority that I condemn and that I am quick to report. You are lucky that I am too busy preparing the free income tax clinic or I would report you.''
Finally after much thought I have decided to report it. Stealing from people and overcharging them because you have personal issues WHILE WORKING, . for a FEDERAL institution!
I did not appreciate her attitude and behavior and would appreciate receiving assurance that it will never happen again to ME and/or to anyone else.
Please submit to appropriate authorities. Thank you !
mail delivery
Hello,
I am the President of People Store. We are a large corporation in Mississauga Ontario (employing over 2, 000 people) that has not been receiving mail for well over a week. I have personally been involved as we have very sensitive material that has not arrived. I am very concerned due to the lack of care and attention which I'm dealing with. We are simply looking to retrieve our mail. Without receiving any answers once so ever, we are left with little recourse other than taking our case to the news media in an effort to help bring our company some attention. We would appreciate your involvement. The reference number is: [protected]
My package that was supposed to arrive on the 21st went through Mississauga and then i stopped getting any more updates, and have still not received any info on where my package is! What is going on with Mississauga?!
A friend of mine in Vancouver, BC, had a package routed through Mississauga that appears to have been lost and a second package that appears to have originated from near there that hasn't been updated (on the tracking number) since being there. It's supposed to be delivered tomorrow, but the tracking info doesn't look promising. I wonder if this is related to the problem you've been having. I hope your situation is resolved or on the way to being resolved!
community mailbox
I live in St. John's, NL. I had trouble with the lock of the parcel compartment of my community mailbox. I couldn't open the box, as it may have been frozen. I rang Canada Post and received a ticket number. My mail carrier checked the key, said it worked and placed the key again inside my mailbox. I tried again and couldn't open the parcel box. I called Canada Post again and asked for them to move the package to another compartment as I couldn't open the box. As a side note, another family member tried as well both times and couldn't open box. The parcel has now been waiting 5 days for me to retrieve it. Instead of moving my package to another compartment, the mail carrier sent it back to sender, after only 7 business days. No one notified me although I was in contact with head post office every day in St. John's. Basically, my complaint was dismissed. The parcel was held 'hostage' in Kamloops until my parents paid the return postage and it has now been sent again, with a signature required so I will actually get customer service and access to my parcel. My parents will be pursuing a refund for all additional postage.
I had a valid complaint and it was dismissed. This is the biggest issue I have with the whole process.

lost package
Package sent to me from the U.S. has gone missing while it is in the possession of Canada Post. One rep said that since I was the recipient, I could do nothing about it. Her name was Maureen and she was considerably unresponsive to my feelings or my need. Very bad customer service representative. Then I phoned again and the next agent said that it was still in the possession of Canada Customs. And again I phoned and got a different answer, that it was actually lost. Three reps, three different answers. This is pathetic customer service.
What makes this worse is that I, as a paying customer, cannot instigate an investigation. WTF?!
I paid for this to be shipped and I know it is lost mishandled or stolen while in the possession of Canada Post. Your company is responsible to me as a customer, and all I get is attitude, misinformation and a big F.U. for being the recipient in a contractual agreement of safe and timely shipping from Canada Post. No one will look up the package, nor do a search for me. It has been one month since Canada Customs released this package to Canada Post for delivery. No package takes this long, and the lack of care of concern from telephone customer service representatives is making me hate this self-serving company. Canada Post seems to take no responsibility in tracking a trackable package.
WTF! I basically have the same story to tell only that my parcel was posted in Gernany. A month after arrival in the city of destination, still nothing happened. And Canada Post employees telling me that it's lost, accept it. A large 30kg parcel magically disappeared from a Canada Post facility and no one wants to look for it.
customer service worker - supervisor
Hi,
I am writing to file a complaint against a Customer Service Supervisor by the name of Tricia Shelley.
Date of Incident: February 2, 2017
Last week I phoned into Canada Post to track down packages that I had not received, but the Sender said they delivered. I started the service ticket process. I waited the 5 days as noted and on February 2, 2017 phoned Canada Post to get an update.
I called the 1-800 number and spoke with Customer Service where she informed me that one of the tickets was closed because the packaged did not get delivered due to a wrong address. The packages are to be delivered to the right address but it is missing a unit number. For the last 2.5 years I have been receiving mail at this address without a unit number, its a townhouse and the other "unit" is a vacant store that is connected to the house. I have gotten packages before in our community mailbox and even received large packages by using the key that was left in our mail to retrieve from another compartment as well a notice that our package was waiting at the nearby Postal Office. So why now?
She didnt have an answer for me other than that the "scenario" that the mailman knows to deliver to that address regardless of package/envelope missing a unit number (being familiar) and there may be a new person now on that route. I understood that but my argument was why am I recieving past tenants' mail from years past. This was no consilation for me nor she could provide any other resolution then for me to contact the Sender, in China, to resend. Delivery has been close to 2 months now and they will for sure charge me shipping again. This was not helpful.
I asked to speak with a supervisor in order to find assistance, since 2 of my packages were not delivered and sent back, but also have another 5 shipments to come. I was hoping that somewhere in the system, a note can be placed, a hold at the depot can be made and/or an instruction at the distribution centre can be done.
I spoke with Tricia Shelly/Shelley and she reiterate what the previous Customer Service Rep said, that Canada Post can not reroute or place any instructions at depot or with the post personnel. I was willing to accept, but was also looking for some kind of resolution. Maybe a schedule of when the mailman comes so I can intercept a package delivery? or I would come to the depot? Something, since I have been waiting for these xmas presents for months. At the end, she debunked all my ideas.
My issue with her is not that she is following the Canada Post procedure but after all the above, she threatened me with holding of my mail. What I mean by that is that she said what she CAN do is send a message to the depot to STOP sending any mail with my address that has no unit number "Which is a lengthy process, do you really want that?" Now that to me is a threat of accept that Canada Post can not do anything or she will put a hold on my mail which will take a long time to figure things out, according to her. I asked her that if she can send a message to STOP my mail from coming, then why couldn't she send a message for my mail to be delivered to the unit number? That seemed logic. She said she couldnt do that and I am not understanding her. I understood her correctly. What I understood that she can decide to either not help and stick to her script or make it a problem for me to get mail.
I did not appreciated being threatened to have our mail stopped. It is inappropriate and unappreciated. Of course I did not want that. So I asked for her name and ended the call.
is this Canada Post Customer service? I would listen to the audio tape as asked if the conversation was being recorded.
Please look into this personnel.

not delivering to my door!
I have a monthly order that comes Ontario. The company ships out the same day so their customers can receive the product within a timely manner. The first time I ordered I was impressed. My package arrived quickly and was brought right to my front door as it requires my signature. For my last order there was no delivery attempt made. I tracked the package and anxiously awaited for the mail person to arrive at my door. However no one showed. After waiting a few more days I called the company to ask what was the hold up. Turned out that my package was at the local post office awaiting pickup for several days. Now I don't check my mailbox everyday. Sometimes I'll go several days without checking it unless I'm expecting something. Sure enough there was my delivery/pick up notice sitting in my mailbox. Again I am currently waiting for a package that was suppose to be delivered to my door today and it was not. So I walked down to the mailbox and sure enough there was my notice sitting in the mail box yet again proving that no door delivery was even attempted. Now I have to wait another day for my package not to mention the fact that I need to find a way to get down to the post office with 4 children 3 and under! Hence the reason I have my packages deliveries to my door, for convenience! This is now the second time this has happened and I've only ordered the products 3 times. 2 out of 3 reflects very poorly upon the Canada post mail delivery system. How can I resolve this?
delivery service
I live in an apartment at 1050 Bathurst St in Toronto and the package that was suppose to be delivered to me ended up in the business on the main floor. The business, a laundromat, is a public space and the package could have been taken by any of the customers that day. I was lucky enough to find my package that day in the laundromat On a machine but am very upset with the service. I do not understand why the package was left in a the place of a business when there are clear directions on the package for delivery. In other cases, I have been left a slip for me to pick up my package at the nearest post office. I'm hoping whoever did the delivery understands that one adress could mean more than one resident in a building!
parcel pick up
I was sent a parcel and wasn't home at delivery time. I got a notice [protected] to pick it up and went to the outlet. Upon arriving there during the specified open hours I was greeted by a closed door and signs saying this location is only open Mon-Fri 9-4pm until further notice. Now I work every weekday and cannot get there during those times. I called CP and was told there was nothing they could do. I would have to find some non-working person whom I could authorize to it up for me during those hours. REALLY?! Not sure how they can get away with that kind of horrible customer service but they do.

Ticket #: [protected]. I sent an item via expresspost on Dec. 29 2016 to the offices of immigration quebec located in downtown montreal. Almost a month later this item has not been delivered. the government forms that I sent on behalf of my client by xpresspost on December 29 2016 are to be received no later than January 24 2017. After this date my client's file with the immigration department will be closed. Despite my numerous attempts and requests I have not been able to get a straight and clear answer as to why my Xpress post item is sitting in a canada post warehouse somewhere in Montreal. I have suggested to my client to file a legal action for damages in Quebec provincial court against canada post because this kind of service is unacceptable and your customer service was completely useless and inadequate in resolving my delivery issue . My client has suffered stress, inconveniences and may see his immigration file closed because of the gross negligence and incompetence of some employees at Canada post.
mail not delivered to correct address
The hospital sent a letter from Hamilton (L8L 2X2) to Simcoe (N3Y 4W9) on December 14th at 3:10 pm but letter was not delivered to correct address/box or not delivered at all. Patient arrived in Hamilton today and received verification from two departments of said letter but no letter was received at patient address. Patient would like apology, refund on gas/trip to Hamilton and reassurance of attention to detail in future so personal medical information not delivered to neighbours or strangers mailboxes.
delivery took 6 days when I paid for 2 day delivery
Product was ordered on Jan 12, 2017 and a shipping fee of $45 for 2 days Xpress shipping was paid.
Tracking number is: [protected]
Now, I needed this package for Monday, Jan 16. The date is was originally said to arrive. I waited all week with no update on the website. Calling Canada Post did no good. It apparently arrives on Jan 19, however, no notice card was left or any info. I seen Canada Post come by today but the lady knew nothing about my delivery. Website told me to pick it up (With the notice card i never did receive) on the next business day.
My problem is why did i pay the extra $31 for shipping to only have it take the same time as regular shipping rates. This is not the first time this has happened and have not said anything before but now it is irritating.
My desirable resolution is for Canada Post to refund me the difference between the regular shipping and express shipping cost which was $31. They can then recover their costs from the company that charged me the express rate as they told me it was out of their control when it left to come to me.
Thank you for your time and attention into this matter. I was greatly inconvenienced by this mix-up and some resolution would help a bit.
Yours Truly,
Mike Cross

Dear Phil,
We do not have any record of package size here. Yet, it is a yo-yo, so
it should be a small box which can sit on a hand.
Yes, there are some other customers who lives in Canada has same issue.
Japan Post just reported us that the delay with Canada Post is a service
wide known issue for Japan Post.

Is there any chance the package was returned to your company? Has

Looking forward to your reply.

community mailbox is not accessible
Today, December 28, 2017, I slipped and fell onto the road because the area surrounding the mailbox is covered in ice. To collect the mail, I had to climb over a bank of ice, almost two feet high, to reach the sidewalk, that is completely covered in ice. The mailboxes are located on Bexhill Road, near North Main Street in Newmarket, On. They were recently moved closer to North Main, and further away from the residences they serve. I am very angry that I have been injured because of your failure to clear a path to the mailboxes. I am a senior (65), and have no way of knowing if my knee will continue to give me problems. It is already stiff and swollen.
The mailbox for Bexhill Road should be moved UP the hill and near a driveway.
I would like to speak to someone from Canada Post to discuss/review compensation for pain and suffering.

misbehaviour of an employee of canada post.
Hi,
My name is Lail. One of the employee from Canada post came to my door to deliver a parcel on December 28/12/2016.She ranged the bell 10 times. I opened the door and requested her not to ring it 10 times please...we have a heart patient.
She said she is refusing to deliver the items, next time go to Canada post located at centennial gift centre on vodden st.
I requested her ID No. and name...but she refused to provide the her identity. I said I will complaint against her...She said she don't care...call and tell customer service your postal code. I was shocked...I was asking her name and ID no. gently, but she alleged me not to yell.
Is this the way Canada post trained their employees. Do they have complete powers...whether to deliver or not, where to deliver...
My postal code is L6V4R5.
I request Canada post to take a necessary action to avoid such an intolerable behaviour in the future.
