I have a comerical account with Citi Bank with no response despite numerous calls, emails, faxes and emails.
Citi Bank closed thier Santa Rosa, CA. branch in early 2021/late 2020, leaving no branches in all of Sonoma Co. They move the account to San Rafael, Marin Co., Ca. Auditor are attempting to verify the account and the San Rafael branch does no respond to calls, emails, faxes and the Corporate Office of Citi has been equally ineffective in trying to get hold of the San Rafael office, does not return calls, email, etc. All we need done is to sing a single page verifying account status, which we are not able to do as it must come direct from Bank to auditors, worse service with any financial institution I have ever experienced.
Desired outcome: verify business account for CCRRG.
Customer service and dispute of a charge
Currently waiting for Citibank to make a refund of $322.92 from an online Home-depot purchase in April. Basically I purchased an item on line, when it arrived it was the wrong color. Called the number provided by Home-depot. Representative arranged for the return via UPS. UPS picked up the item the very next day. In less than two weeks the item was back at their warehouse. The return was not credited to my account. When I contacted HD I was told it my responsibility to open a dispute with the credit card company because they want additional documents regarding the return. You have the UPS tracking numbers, and the merchandise. What else could be needed?
In the meantime I contacted the attorney general office in SD because this is crazy to say the least.
Last call to them requesting my payment via check and will be closing my account. Not worth the hassles.

Credit card closed - no explanation - no justification
I had two Citi cards, one company and one personal. My personal card I have held for 23 years. Never a late or missed payment/always paid in full. Average monthly bills 4-7000. Excellent credit in 800's. Have a company card with several employees as cardholders. Some excellent credit history. Used my card on Sat morning and went to use it again in afternoon and charge declined. Called Citi and was told account closed. Daughter went to use her company card Sun and found it closed as well. Contacted Citi and was told all card closed and I should look for letters for each cardholder online. As of today I have had no letters posted or received. Contacted Citi CEO Jane Fraser on her email as well as her assistant - no reply but did get a call from a VP on Sun afternoon indicating my emails were received and I would have a reply Monday, received a call Mon afternoon indicating nothing-no explanation other than to say accounts not eligible for reopening. Perfect customers for almost 30 years and this is Citi says thank you. Could not get an answer if this was an algorithm or did a real human make this decision. Nothing raise flags on the account that I can see. This card also was an advantage executive card tied to my AA Executive Platinum account. AA didn't seem interested in Citi action either. Very sad that someone who maintains everything perfectly gets treated this way and more important that a senior executive can't pick up a phone or return an email or answer letters sent by FedEx to their NY head-offices. The right thing is to explain the reason and if based on inaccurate info correct it and reopen the accounts. Not holding my breath. Shame on Citi.

I applid for a ceti diamond preferred card in 2020 and was approved for 2, 000.00 and 600.00 of that dor cash advances, i never used the card until may 18, 2021 a for 2 cash advances, and used the card to pay a a 119.41 bill, the next day i recieved in my account on line that they did a credit review of my credit and lowered my credit fom 2, 000.00which was my approved amount to 700.00 now i've never heard of this i had already been approved hust had no need to use my card until now, before the day i decided to use it had no problem everything was good but the moment i used already approved credit that's when i started getting emails saying my credit was lowered to 700.00had i known this was going to happen maybe i would have used less no the say i only have 27.80 available to spend, i thought what is going on with all going on now pandemic and everything else maybe it's because i'm a women of color, but who knows i know that once you are approved for something you are approved credit has nothing to do with that they seem as though i was applying for credit.I don't understand, because i talked to my lawyer about this and he asked me if i had consulted with you all, and this is what i'm doing now.
Dispute team - citibank
Back in January 2017 I purchased a PAL ticket to Japan using my husbands card who was my supplementary. On due date paid the transaction and other purchases in my soa. Come March 17 upon arrival at the airport PAL agent wouldnt want to accept my husband's ticket due to a conflict with the use of bank and the suggestion of PAL was just to buy a new ticket and apply for dispute after the trip. So we filed and PAL advise to place in the dispute form of CIti. Reversal were made in May come June it was back in my account again. Then came the ordeal of calling them up about it dragged on until 2019 I was asked to block the cards so that they can re open the case but only to receive that the re opening of case has expired. Never did I used my Citi cards anymore to think that I have been a loyal customer for 20 years. Now that I'm applying for a home loan this case appeared and bank is requiring me to get clearance from Citi. How can I get one when I wasn't even receiving a demand letter from collections agency and second it was their mistake that they could not acknowledge.

I had fraud on my account with Citibank a year ago and have not been able to fully access my account since. I have been trying for a week to reset my pin for my debit card and use my online access. Each time I call I am told to call back later because no one can help. When I try to go online and fix the account they tell me it is inactive although when I call they say the account and the debit card is active.
I am unable to get the pin code changed, each time they tell me I need to activate the pin which I have done. The card still won't work.
I live on a fixed income and cannot keep relying on charity of friends and family to live. I need to be able to access my funds so that I can pay my bills and etcetera.

I went into the tujunga branch with my mask on to use atm the atm only gave me 100 so I was waking line to break it down to smaller bills the manager said cover my nose I said I c can't cover my nose do to I'm claustrophobic he repeat himself I told very rude so I said I'll leave he said fine .I've been a customer for 9 or so years I truly hope you will train your workers to be considerate of people.He is the manager so please have a talk with him.The time was 11:30am also the mask should be the last thing they should worry about at that branch they allow homeless people to sleep in front of the doors and there isn't any security gaurd around

My card is being declined
I have been having issues with my account for 3 weeks now. My transactions were declined for insufficient funds. I checked with the bank via customer support and the funds were available. I was advised it was the merchant by customer support. I reached out to every merchant that I got declined with and they all said the same thing. "It's the bank that is declining the transaction". The reason I am angry is cause I was advised by customer support to have the card blocked and I will be sent a new card. Today is Saturday. I am home with my children. How am I suppose to get to an ATM when the card isn't working? Does that make sense? Why wasn't I advised this from the beginning? I have called Citibank customer support over 20 times in the past 3 weeks. Their incompentence is unacceptable. There is no guarantee that this is the issue and I just have to wait till May 4th to find out. Unbelievable. Is there someone that can reach out to me so we can discuss this matter? Unqualified closure of CC account
IN the middle of the pandemic, I got a letter stating I'd not get a new card. I didn't think much of it at the time. I thought it was just panic banking and after this all blew over I would probably get a new card. I was running a high balance at the time and did participate in payment deferral for a couple of months. NONE of my payments, CITI and otherwise were ever late going back 15 years. When I finally paid that balance off, I found the account had been closed. When I took the card, I was hesitant to get involved with CITI in the first place, but I wanted certain travel benefits, so I took it and I traveled. Thank God I traveled when I did. Anyway, now they've impacted my utilization and taken away all my rewards FOR NO POSSIBLE REASON. I am now researching tax collection records to find where the executives live so that I can reach out to them. All I get from their employees is useless apologies and boiler plate documents, and they've refused to reopen my account despite a 700+ score and no delinquencies relative to any of my accounts. I'm also contacting the CFPB. I'm not really interested in using CITI's card actively again, but I want the impact to my utilization corrected and I want my rewards back. Simply put, CITI is an untrustworthy business.

Citi Bank closed two of my active credit card accounts without any explanation
As a customer of this bank for 8 years, I'm disgusted by how they treat their customers. My credit cards were all active until April 27, 2021, after checking the mobile app that the accounts were closed. I had to look twice to be sure the [censored] I was seeing. I called their customer service and they failed to provide any information about what occurred, but that I will expect a letter in the mail explaining why. Both cards were active and used for subscriptions, paying bills and purchases. I've always made my payments on time and no fraud activity. My biggest concern is my credit score, especially during this pandemic, I wanted to be sure my credit was in good shape, and now that has all gone down the drain. I want to transfer my funds to another bank, maybe Chase but I heard horrible things about them as well.
Failed to honor new checking account promotion
CitiBank bombarded me, for nearly two years, with solicitations via USPS, e-mail and my Citi credit card accounts to open a checking account for a $700.00 reward. When I attempted to take advantage of the promotion on 03/04/2021, CB put a hold on my deposit ($50K), never completed account setup after receiving required documents; then closed accounts on 04/16/2021, citing failure to verify my address, and returned funds via check three weeks prior to fulfillment of the 60 day reward term, to the same address they claimed inability to verify, accompanied by another mailer for same misleading, scam promotion. The balance of my checking account was never returned. Citi previously sent my new account book, rewards info. packet, and interest statement to same address. CitiBank used fraudulent business practices, failed to honor their long-standing promotion and used my money to gain/collect interest, then blatantly flaunted their abuse of fiduciary power!
Desired outcome: I would like the promised promotional reward of $700.00, and refund of my checking account balance, $378.00, which was not returned.
Balance transfer dispute
I just activated my new card.
The offer when I applied was (0) interest and no balance transfer fee.
The citi rep said that I had two (2) choices. 1. 3% fee with 0 interest till feb 22.. 2. No transfer fee and (0) interest till dec 2021
When I called back to do the no transfer fee I was told by two different reps that there was no offer with a no transfer fee.
I would like to do a no fee transfer. 18 months if possible but at least the six (6) month one. I am a retired bank manager and totally disgusted with the reps. Also, their english was terrible.

I have not used my Citibank account for a while.
When I went to login / recover the account, I could not.
I have called the service desk and they have advised that it may have been closed and money deposited with South Dakota Unclaimed property.
I have checked and cannot find.

When I call the canters, the system recognizes that card and lets me in.
I had not activated the card in 2016 but was able to do so on 11th April 2021.

My last registered mail address was Villa 14 40, RD. 22C, Al Safa 1, 9261, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
I had a substantial amount of money in the account.

I bought a computer approx ($995.99) from Hewlett Packard and had to return it. I spoke to them but the refused to listen. Then I mailed a letter to YOU with all available documents after speaking with a CSR and I was informed by the CSR that I would receive a letter shortly, but never happened. My initial complaint was on Feb 22, 2021. I called repeatedly and cannot get an answer because your CSR put me on hold forever and a day. I got cut off more often that not and that's the end of the story. Because CSR do not call back. Speaking with CSR in the Philippines or India does not help. I will cancel my credit card if I cannot get any assistant. Citibank has gotten too big and you people don't know where you are standing to put it mildly. You should quit the credit card business your service is lousy and you do not care. You are providing a disservice to your customers and benefiting from them. You need to do better. Hector

They blocked my account on march 12 for unknown reason wasn't even told, until I tried using my card and I called . I had funds in my checking's and savings about $500 a piece couldn't access it nor get proper hold of any worker on phone. April Comes I received another form of payment which had been sent to the account around the 1st about $ 954 they told to go into a branch to request my funds I did they told me to call back and then they told me about some random account I had no idea about was at a negative balance of 20000 due to a mobile check i also don't recall, I haven't even received no check book from citibank at all and I haven't cash a check mobile on my account. so i was left with no funds at all starved got the run around and they never took the time to inform me ahead of time and or about the other account that was open i had workers yell at me over the phone hang up in my face tell me i have 0 funds in my account they even said i will receive a check in the mall with the remaining balance. it has been a tragic year for me already i lost two grandmothers around the time of the issues apartment caught on fire two weeks ago and stuck stranded
