Broadband national is a big rebate scam company. I have been trying to get back my rebate for the cable and internet service with comcast. Broadband national has been giving one or the other reason for the delay in processing my rebate form and finally after 8 months they say that I submitted the wrong rebate form. I don't understand how this can happen? All the conditions on the rebate forms were met and don't know why it took them more than 6 months to update with a rejection status.
Well there has been some positive response from Broadband National since I registered a complaint. One of the company manager tried to address the problem and made sure that I got my rebate back. It took them about 10 days to find out where the problem was in their system and send a special request to their finance department to reconsider my rebate application.
They will be busted by me. I'm calling the local news now.

I didn't see this website soon enough as I signed up for the Comcast Triple bundle about 6 months ago. I'm supposed to get 275$ rebate and I was getting the runa around. I plan to teminate my membership if this doesn't get resolve. Oh, I'll let my friends and family know this experience before they sign up with Comcast.
Yes, I two got sucked into this scam in April, 2009... I was suppose to receive a $200
rebate for the triple play and STILL have not received it...I have called comcast 1800 # so many times and get a different answer every time as to why I havn't received it... I was now told to go to my local comcast office that they could help me but the customer service reps there said that they don't know why I was sent there and they can't help me... They gave me an e-mail address tho submit my rebate to and said I would definitely get it and that a lot of people have not received their rebate... I already submitted my info. to that website back in OCT 09, and still nothing... Your right I think I'll try the new's investagartor's in my area as well and see if I can get somewhere there and then to BBB
I was expecting to receive a $300 rebate from Comcast when I ordered the service online. Instead I was told that Comcast had no record of my online order and I wouldn't be receiving a rebate...We need a class action lawsuit..
I had been with verizon for over a year and was very satisfied except for my bill being increased by $20 after my 1 year was completed. So when I received a postcard in the mail from Comcast offering a $250 rebate if I signed up for the triple play for $139 (which is what I already had with Verizon...and was paying little bit more than that) I jumped on th deal. 2 mos later I called them up checking on the status of my rebate. First off---- I was told they never received my signed contract, except I NEVER received a contract for me to sign, nor was told there was one to sign. secondly---I was told I was LYING (yes he called me a liar) because they have never ran a special more than $150 which is a complete and utter lie... to be called a liar was maddening and totally uncalled for. thirdly---- they told me they will not honor any rebate that might have been offered because it has now been passed the thrity days. I am pissed and will be filing a complaint with the Better business Bureau. These people need to be stopped.
I completed the paperwork for a rebate and never received it. When I inquired, Broadband National claimed the rebate check had been cashed but they refused to provide a copy of the check or identify the clearing bank. I filed a complaint of a stolen check to the to the sheriff's office. The deputy called Broadband and told them he needed a copy of the cleared check to investigate my complaint. Broadband stiffed him and told him to get a warrant, which will not happen because I live in Florida and the Broadband office is in Michigan. What kind of business refuses to cooperate with local law enforcement? A professional scam artist who knows that it is costly and difficult for the local deputy to obtain and enforce a warrant aross state lines for a matter of a $100 rebate.
