Brylane Home credit account
On August 29, I called Comenity Bank to close my Brylane Home account. They gave me the amount due, and I paid that amount per their direction. The remaining balance was zero.
The first week in September, I received a letter acknowledging the account closure, and in that letter it reiterated that my closed account balance was zero.
Today, October 20, I received both a telephone call and an email informing me that my account is past due and I owe money that I never charged.
I called Comenity Bank and spoke with a representative, who informed me that my account could only be handled by a Customer Care Representative. I was placed on hold for about 5 minutes, and I reached the Care Center and was told that I needed to pay the fees that had been accumulating on my account. When I said that I would not, they hung up on me.
Desired outcome: Please apologize to me and reverse these fees.
Bread Financial of Ohio
Thursday, Oct 20, 2022 at 2 pm with above forementioned and of not properly crediting and handling accounts. I have complained every month since March about packages not being credit to my Brylane account and they credited them to Fall Beauty or not at all. I have so many complaints and their reply is "were on it" which is a laugh. I do not owe Brylane late fees to which they are implicating. I have contacted every BBB in NY, Ill, Ohio as well as Trans Union regarding these on going problems. I would like a letter from Comenity -Brylane stating that I owe nothing and account is closed at the customer's request to which I have clearly stated over and over. I am a Para Legal here in New Jersey and it will get filed in Cape May Co Superior Court and maybe then someone will check into this company. I have called them at [protected] and kept on hold for quite sometime with a Jordan to whom is a nice young lady.
Desired outcome: Letter stating this account is paid in full and closed at the customer's request.
Online login to pay bills
I have 2 cards through Comenity Bank and every time I try to log in to see my account activity or make a payment, it says my information is incorrect or they do not have me on file. It is very frustrating because I have had to call them, have them click something in their computer to let me in my accounts and then update a new password. Next time I try to sign in, it says I entered the wrong information again. I have tried to click "forgot password" but it says it sent me a text or email with a code that never arrives to my phone. I do not have the time to keep calling them. It feels like something dishonest is going on with my accounts and they hope I will just give up trying to log in. If I had read the review first I would have never applied with this company. I would really like to just get out of it all. Date and time? Every month around the 20th when I try to get in to pay my bills or check my account activity. This last time is today, 10/20/22 at 12:10pm.
Desired outcome: Fix the password issue. Call me to fix this instead of me waiting on hold for you to do something. Give me access to both my Victoria Secret and Torrid Accounts so they are fully transparent to me.
I just received a new card. I called to activate it and then set up an online account so that I could check balances, pay bills, etc. the final step in this process was to check my email to confirm that the email I used was my true email address. I did that and tried to sign into my account, but keep getting the Please confirm” message, which directs me to check my email and confirm my address. I contacted customer service and finally spoke with a live person, after about five minutes of getting through automated options, and the rep wasn’t helpful at all. I gave up. I signed out if the comenity website and logged back in. It did accept my username and password, but I still get the “please confirm your email” message. This is extremely frustrating.
account charges
I got a letter dated 10/10/2022saying I owed $9.38. My balance is zero. I spoke with a supervisor and she said my balance is zero. This is the second time typing this message. The first time it said unable to send. Adjust my account and reply to me with a letter saying my account is zero balance and in good standing. Where can I give a customer service rating? I am very unhappy about this.
Desired outcome: Adjust my account and reply to me with a letter saying my account is zero balance and in good standing.
Billed for account assure
I called to figure out why I have a balance on my Children's Place card through this bank. The lady told me that Account Assure has to be signed up for and they "don't just add it to your account". If that is the case, why do I have statements with Account Assure charges and they have told me I don't have an account with them? She was rude and just wanted me to pay off a card that I haven't used in almost a year with a balance I shouldn't have on it. I have to call 3 or 4 different companies to figure this out and I'm just getting pushed around with no answers
Desired outcome: I want my charges removed off my account and I want to cancel my card all together. I'm done
Minimum Interest and Late Fee Charges
I have several Comenity Bank credit cards and can state, for a fact, there are inconsistencies in the handling of accounts for which I am currently in a battle to resolve. The two accounts I will reference are VICTORIA SECRET and WOMAN WITHIN which have both been recently paid off. I first paid off Woman WIthin in July, 2022 when the balance of $32.00 was paid in full Before the due date. Since then, I had a $2.00 minimum interest fee assessed on the August, 2022 statement balloon into a $30 request from fees and additional interest reporting as past due for an account the was paid off and had a $0 balance at the time the statement for August generated. The Victoria Secret account had a balance of $32,00 on the August, 2022 statement which was paid in full before the due date and the generated statement (last one by the way) for September, 2022 shows the $32.00 payment and a balance of $0 with DO NOT PAY in the amount due. There is NO minimum interest fee charged showing the inconsistency within the bank on two different accounts. Upon reviewing the written statements, it states if an account is paid prior to the due date to which a resulting balance is $0, there will be no further interest (as far as I understand it to be). I have contacted customer service 3X this month alone to rectify when the owed amount was a mere $14! Last night I discovered a late fee of $12 assessed and an additional interest fee of $4 not the reversal of everything as promised on the last conversation less than a week ago! GET THIS FIXED as of right not this remains unresolved!
Desired outcome: I want this account zeroed as indicated by conversations with customer service and reversal credit reporting for the Woman Within account for which no PAST DUE should've been reported.
BJ's Comenity card frozen for no reason
Two weeks ago our Comenity BJ's card stopped working. Our balance has always been paid in full every month. Numerous calls of 30+ mins on hold have never resulted in an answer. Emails to their resolution center are ignored. BJ's rep told me they are changing over to Capital One on 2/1/23 due bad service and Comenity has abandoned their contract. Now I have to bring our receipts to customer service to get a gift card to redeem our awards.
I was defrauded three times in one year. Had enough and decided to close my account. Still on hold with BJ's customer service for over 3 hours! Didn't know they're abandoning Comenity. Couldn't happen soon enough!
AAA Visa Signature credit card with comenity .
I was forced into this account when another bank sold my account to comenity. the web site hasn't worked right yet. I hear it hasn't worked right since June. please fix this web site. I have not been able to confirm my contact informtion. I have not been able to set up alerts. My account balance is not up to date. I have no idea if I successfully activated my card.
Desired outcome: Pease fix your web site.
The new CEO, Ralph Andretta, who two years ago changed the entire cyber system to a company name Fiserv the entire credit card program has crashed per all the complaints.
Fire Andretta return to the old system to save anyone stupid enough to have a Comenity card

BJ Mastercard Application Process
I am a relatively new BJ member. I have tried four times to apply for the Mastercard. Initially, my credit reports were frozen by me after multiple breaches by various companies. That accounted for the first denial. I removed the freeze for ten days and reapplied. Still denied for supposed frozen reports. Applied a fourth time, my credit score (820) appeared on the denial but was denied for inability to verify my identity! Was suggested that I contact Equifax and Social Security to correct. Neither had an identity issue. The last time I applied, the denial again stated that my credit reports were frozen, they are not. The reference number on the last denial is [protected] dated 8/22/2022. My credit rating is deemed excellent. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly or had so many problems applying for credit.

trying to set up autopay
I recently closed my mastercard bj's and opened a new mastercard bj's.
I tried to set up auto ay with the new card. I called customer service and we went through the procedure to set up autopay. Every time I try to process the autopay I get a message stating a TECHNICAL GLITCH occurred and the request
could not be completed. On the two phone calls the parties I spoke to said they could not get in touch IT to resolve this problem. I would appreciate your help because this is really frustrating.
Thank you!
Desired outcome: To be able to set up autopay.
Cannot make payment
I have tried repeatedly to make my usual online payment, starting September 18 through today, September 20. Message was to contact customer service, which I did, they said the system was upgraded June 6 ! Representative said I would be sent a link to make payment - same message for both account and the EZ Pay site.
The site is frequently "down" but I have not experienced this much of a problem before. Hopefully, by the deadline for payment, things will resolve.
Desired outcome: Want to be able to log on whenever to review my account and make a payment at any time.
Victoria Secret
So the month of august 2022 I was at a gathering at the legend (for old people) and missed my payment by a few mins so since I know I’m getting charged for my late fee I decided to wait until this month September 2022 27th to pay it…. Which is in a few days.
Over the last week (last Monday) I have a total of 23 calls. From Comenity bank. Regarding my 27$ or as she said 37$ usually it’s 27$ and I haven’t bought anything in a few months or more. I’m usually not late but once in a while i miss your deadline (7pm eastern) oops. It happens we all make mistakes but the point being it’s not a recurring thing so for your employees to be harassing me while I am at work trying to make money to pay off my card because I don’t have many. Is absolutely ridiculous it’s harassment in the worst case scenario. I will never suggest anybody to ever go through Comenity bank for the harassment if you miss the deadline. People could be dealing with death health issues living issues and you don’t know. So before you call people and harass them give them a month or two because my record shows that I don’t miss more than one month so you calling me is wasting your own money on your employees and just pissing people off. You’re interrupting my job pulling me away from my work because I think it’s an emergency calling and it’s not and causing me to possibly get in trouble because I have to look at my phone which therefore leads me not being able to pay my card. So before you harass people think about what you’re doing and better train your employees. I will be looking into an attorney for harassment if it continues to happen. Not to mention all the no caller IDs that are calling me so I don’t even want to answer it because I don’t know who it is. Have a nice day!
Desired outcome: Change, train your employees.
Sally Beauty Rewards Card
On June 25 2022 I made a payment of 49.31 to my credit card. A month later I saw my balance was higher than it should be. When I checked my account statement it wasn’t showing my payment. I was on the phone all day and it’s almost impossible to get a professional representative that is actually listening to the information you are giving them. They will ask the same questions over and over again request information then state they never received it and make it your fault.
Desired outcome: I want my credit out back they way it was before this horrible card!
Added fee on my account when my balance is paid off
When I have paid on my Comenity Credit card balance off then lo and behold I get another statement the next month for $2.00. Now, if i had paid my account with no interest I would not mind a fee for a zero balance but when I refused to pay they added interest and then a late fee on to what was a paid off account. The first time I paid it because I though I had miss paid the final amount. This is a crooked as it gets. Another way to add misery to being able to have a credit card. What scrum
Desired outcome: Refund the fees for me and anyone else you gouged
BJs Masterxard
Opened and paid for a BJs account and Comenity (MC) card to get $.10 off for gas, plus other reductions of up to 2%. The card worked for a single transaction only. Even BJs says the MC does not work well. (same issue my friend had with her Comentity MC both at BJ's and her different one... but also Comenity... at Ulta Beauty).
I think there needs to be a class-action lawsuit against this bank. I will pursue one. This has cost thousands (tens of thousands?) of people money and time. There is no reason why Comenity can't hire enough call agents to address the hold-time issue, or get their cards to work. The sheer volume of complaints is more than telling.
Desired outcome: Visibility for people to consider a class-action suit.
I am writing because, although I have not noticed this issue, I am wondering if there should be a class action suit against BJ's Comenity. For me, the issue I have is that BJ's Comenity payment deadline time keeps changing. First, it was midnight, then 8pm, then the statement says 6pm (but in fine print it says mailed payments which I didn't notice), so I go today to pay between 5 and 6pm and it makes me select a payment date of tomorrow and tells me the online time cutoff is 5pm and a late fee will be due (interest too which I usually don't have to pay due to paying statement balance in full). This ongoing time change and vague notification is a scam to get more late fees and interest charges. Lady today assured me that tomorrow, once the late fees and interest shows up, if I call again (so much for actual customer service), they will take it off, but the language barrier seems to have kept her from responding appropriately (like giving an actual response on several occasions, not that she was rude) makes me wonder if they will refund the late fees and interest. Also I have asked before to change the due date and they can't make it late enough in the month to accommodate a senior who gets paid the 3rd Wednesday of each month (this means the date I get paid, changes most months).
Don't walk RUN AWAY from this company! BJ's MasterCard
For two weeks solid, not been able to log in to view the account to make payments or see transactions. This past week several times tried using my card and it was declined. 4 days on hold for over an hour to get through to someone. I spend over an hour on hold to get through to an agent who says oh the card is good now but will be intermittent! What the Heck does that mean? That the card will only work when it wants to! I use this for everyday purchases to earn points and rewards to use in BJs "s but this is ridiculous. They can shove this card!
Desired outcome: want my rewards lost from $1400 in purchases one day where it was declined due to a service glitch and lost my 10 cents off a gallon of gas that day at BJ's
Wow how to make a customer pissed off before they even become a customer. AAA Rewards is switching from Bank of America this this fly by night outfit. No choice if I want to remain in the AAA Rewards program.
I keep my credit FROZEN with 3 credit agencies and all I want to know is "Must I unfreeze my credit so the Credit Card account can transfer to a different company and of course a different CC account number?".
Try to contact these bozos via their ALLEGED HELP pages and you need a Comenity Account number which of course I don't have yet as this will not transpire until 10/9/2022.
Tried calling their help line and they want my Account # which again does not exist and if I don't have it, they want my SS number which of course does not register in their database yet.
Your customer service is exactly like how a bull services a cow.
Complaint
On July 1 my bill payer from my bank made a payment to Good Sam Camping World PO Box 659820 San Antonio Tx as they were requested the same way they have for a number of years. As we always have we went into Comenity to check on the payment and found no record of it. I spent the next week trying to contact Comenity to find out what the problem was. When I did get in touch with Comenity I was informed that the location where my bank bill payer has been sending my payments was not correct and so with Comenity assistance I corrected the location. I then asked them what happened to the payment I had sent in. They said to contact the bill payer at my bank and find out what happened to the payment. I did and the bill payer informed me the payment went to payment center as I had it set up to and they received it. They sent me an email with the address, amount, account number date of payment and payment type which was electronic. They also sent me the file details that were sent to the Biller. This information has the file number, file amount (for the complete amount of the electronic deposit), the number relating to my transaction, and the file sent date. With this information they should have been able to go back to the electronic deposit for that file number and verified the amount I sent as well as my transaction number to find my payment and then credit it to the account. According to my bank the payment has not been returned to them and therefor Comenity still has it. It has been over a month since the payment was received by them and should have been credited to my account. I do not understand why they have not balanced their electronic payment received. They have asked for the information a number of times. I gave it to them over the phone, I sent it to them by email and I have sent it by the security mail on their website. The thing that upsets me most is that Aug 1 my bill payer sent another payment to Comenity through the new payment center they gave me. It has not been applied to the account either. Thay have had it for 6 days and no action has been taken. In 3 days the due date will pass and I will have according to them not paid my Good Sam Camping World (Comenity) for 2 month.
Desired outcome: Get all payments (July 1 and Aug 1) credited to my account all past due charges removed and the account put back into good standings as well as the cards turned back on so they can be used.
My card was charged beyond my purchases up to 5k woth of money.
I have had issues with this company in the past and thought my identity was stolen because i had continues fraudulent charges over the past couple of years. I now have almost paid my card down to 0 and my last statement said I owed over 6k.
I cannot use the phone lines to contact the company.
the complaints are answered generically and robotic-ally.
I have been robbed again. There is no security or safety in the digital or computerized monetary SYSTEM!
After login
I opened my online account with Comenity back in March of 2022, then in May I made a payment of $100 and setup auto-pay. Then two months later I get the bill saying I was overdue and a late fee of $29. Then I tried to login to my account and the website said it couldn't find my account. Finally I called customer service and their system hump up on me when I asked to speak to customer service. So now the system didn't pay causing me a late fees and my credit score dropped. Website is down and nobody knows anything. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! When I got a hold of someone yesterday he couldn't help me and only offered at $15 credit.
Desired outcome: Thay I get my 29 dollars back and they report to credit that it was their mistake. Then close account
