I called in to cancel my membership, because I was told I can cancel at any time being that I had a free enrollment voucher and I was just paying $10 a month. When I first got my membership the assoviate was very kind outgoing and assured me I was clearly just going to be paying $10/month I was never told I will be billed $50 after my second month I called in that day because I saw the charge to my card and it left me with no money on my vank account and it was on my son's birthday. I can no longer keep the membership due to .e losing my job. Them I was told I had to cancel 30 days before or I would get charged for the next month. Please I don't want any problems I just want to cancel.

use of closed class room
Hello,
I signed up for a peak membership under the promise that I could use the classroom when classes weren't in session to do floor work.
There is NOWHERE in the entire gym that has mirrors to the floor AND no heavy weights/machines in use.
It was suggested that I use the boxing area, where there are machines/ kettle bells/ and mma taking place, or the heavy lifting side of the gym with free weights and large weights being lifted. Both of the aforementioned areas are EXTREMELY dangerous places to lie on the ground.
At some point the employees just have to take responsibility, come from behind the counter and monitor the entire gym to make sure the room is kept up AND accessible to members.
The closing of this space is a waste of real estate that could benefit members. Please lock up whatever equipment needed as not to take a financial hit but all we're asking for is a clean room with mirrors that's not dangerous.
Our mommy group would love to have access ASAP.

Hello my name is Andres Ponce and I am formally writing a complaint against the staff and management in your Upland, CA location. I feel harassed every single time I visit the gym and as well targeted. Specific individuals such as, Fitness Manager Anthony, assist manager Brock, and the Manger Brain. These individuals have accused me of training my fellow gym buddies, stared me down everytime I am within sight, and today as of 2/15/2018 around 2:40 p.m. Mr. Brock approached my friend and myself with commanding presence stating do not slam weights. I then proceeded to reply with a calm attitude/voice, why? He then approach me breaking my personal face and looked me directly in the eye and stated, "Because I'm [censor] telling you." This is one many more complaints, I have regarding the staff. And as a paying member I do not accept of this form of disrespect.

Hello my name is Mercedes Thomas and I signed an open contract which from what I read in my contract means I can cancel at any time what I don't understand is that even thought I have been charged multiple charges that were all incorrect and not authorized. I have gone into the facility and I have spoken to alot of people and every time I speak with them I say the samething.which is for them to cancel my membership. So now they tell me even though they have refunded me for all the charges I now owe the amount in order for me to close the agreement. I have talked to Sebastian who says he is the district manager which I no he is not. What district manager answers the phones. water massage
I am a member at the Long Beach crunch and I paid $19 a month To use multi facilities I am visiting here in San Diego 3030 Plaza Bonita Rd. in national city.. I had a great workout machines were excellent as I finish my routine I was ready to go use the water massager and was refused by Cameron who said he is the manager because I can only use the massage room where I purchased my account which I think is nonsense nobody made me aware I couldn't use the same services that I'm paying for at my Long Beach crunch instead of giving me a courtesy 10 minutes and let me know I won't be able to use it again Cameron so rudely told me I could not use the massage table ..there was no line the gym was pretty empty 10 o'clock in the morning and Cameron Who must has Weighed Over 400 pounds and more a poster board for a manager at McDonald'sSaid he was the acting manager no customer service no class makes me want to quit my membership... I'm very upset and will call back Ryan Kowalski who is the general manager there and complain I will complain on Yelp I will complain to corporate I am ready to cancel my membership

Hi I used one of your facilities in Idaho somehow I got well known don't appreciate it it affects me daily basis not in a positive way it's been like that way for a months now nobody asked me if I wanted a story or not and I still can't find the story. it has caused a lot of pain and headact a lot of rumors has been said about me I can't defend myself I fully regret ever using your gym. rude reception
I was signing a contract with Crunch fitness and asking a few questions about the maintenance fee. The lady in the front named AMBER and GARET the guy with was so rude telling me that they have lots of things to do and cant entertain my question regarding the maintenance fee. I was just asking for more info about the fee because I am paying and I think I have the right to know where my fees are going. Very rude telling me that its either you sign or we can cancel your membership right away. I was expecting more excellent customer service since she has been working there for years. I guess when you get a position everything changes. I wana see the old AMBER who was very jolly and accommodating not the rude one.
Good luck to your new Crunch Fitness hopefully it will last.
There are lots of fitness centre here in Canada are we forgetting that customer service is one of the key factor to have a successful business. Please check.

Terrible worst customer service encounter. My gym location closed and instead of notifying me Crunch continued to collect membership fees. I have contacted customer service numerous times and have not heard back. Please advise anyone you know to never ever join Crunch. Given such shady business practices, I will make sure no one in my network joins Crunch in the future.

I initially called 1 month after starting my membership to cancel and was assured it would be taken care of. I then Went in person a few months later after charges continued and was again assured that it would be taken care of when the manager returned the following day. I have now noticed that I am still being charged monthly for a membership that I was assured will be canceled multiple times. In january 2017 I was a member of the gresham, or location and charged the $39 annual membership fee for 2017.
I moved to vancouver, wa in june and when I went to transfer my membership from gresham to vancouver I was told that they couldn't do that because their computers were not linked to the corporate data base (The club was still under construction and opening was delayed for months). I ultimately had to cancel my gresham membership in july.
In september I signed a contract for the vancouver plaza location and was charged for 2 months of the annual membership (Note that I previously paid for the full year in jan).
Then in nov my payment was rejected because I had fraud on my account and had a new debit card.in nov the club tried to charge me the $39 annual fee (Note that I paid for all of 2017 in january).
I called the club immediately and was told that the manager would call me. That was over 6 weeks ago and I still haven't received a call. I have since called the corporate billing and customer service departments and emailed corporate. The email has gone unanswered and no one at the billing or customer service can tell me how to get this resolved. Rather I get told to contact someone else or receive no response at all.
Now I am being told that since nov 30th I have been charged $80 in late fees! I have been charged late fees for late fees!
In short, I want my annual membership adjusted to 10 months and all late charges reversed. Thus I would pay $46 plus tax. If this is not resolved to my satisfaction I will cancel my membership and not pay anything at all.
front desk staff
I joined this when it opened and I was very happy with the staff and the way I was being greeted every-time. However, I am very disappointed in the way that Louisa who works at the front desk interacted with me recently. She is EXTREMELY rude and she literally shouts at the customers. She was acting very bossy. She turns off gym lights an hour before the closing time and when questioned about her act, she claims that she is "allowed' to do that. In addition, to be specific this happened on the new years day (Jan 1st, 2018) when the gym was closing at 4pm but the lights were turned off at 3pm. I have never been mistreated at a gym like this before. If I get injured in the dark and have to get hospitalized due to her misbehaviour, I will definitely be suing the company. The area where I was working was pitch dark. I would understand if the lights were turned off 5 mins before closing time but an hour before is unacceptable and when I approached one of the employees there, she clearly stated that, "it's because we want you guys to leave". She has definitely ruined the first day of my new year and other people that were also training there today. To add with, updated gym holiday hours are never posted on the website so, we have to call in to find out. It would be helpful if it was posted on social media for clients so, that their time is respected. I tried calling the brampton north location on Dec 30th, 2017 three times in total at different times (afternoon and in the evening) however, my phone call was NOT answered by the staff. Lastly, I would request the manager of the brampton north location to take a strict action against Louisa otherwise, it will have consequences if this continues.
cleaning the filthy floors
I am not usually one to complain but the filthy dirty floors at Crunch Black Eagle are disgusting. It has been weeks without being vacuumed or mopped. Also there are leaking roof, excess humidity from the pool that collect moisture at all windows. This facility needs a dedicated cleaning crew! If we are here to get healthy then it should be cleaned regularly.
pads on equipment have been removed and still not replaced... for weeks

For about 2 weeks there has been several missing pads on numerous pieces of equipment making them unusable. I don't want to cancel my membership but I think some kind of compensation is needed for the inconvienence. I pay every month to use all the equipment and I can't even use some of these key components. These pads NEED to be replaced the same day once they've been removed... Unacceptable.

This is the 2nd time in the last 30 days that Crunch Fitness in Schaumburg, IL does not open at 5:00 a.m. First time 11/28 and today 12/18. I waited 45 minutes today and it still didn't open. Very unreliable and unprofessional to have people that don't comply with gym opening times. People rely on opening time and I left Xsport to come to you and now Im going to have to consider going back to Xsport.

I am a member at 40 Hanson Rd, Brampton, Ontario. I have been charged for personal training which I signed up but asked the gym to cancel it right away. I have been trying to get hold of KEVIN RACPAN fitness consultant for this location. But he never reverts back to my email. I am been charged for the service I have not taken. I have been charged for last 3 months.in the 3rd month I somehow got hold of Kevin Racpan, he assured me I will be refunded the money as I have not used the service for once. But then again for a month he didn't revert back to my emails nor did he respond back to my calls. After being charged again I got hold of kevin and then he setup a meeting with the manager for that location. Then the manager told me that I have to bring it to a settlement amount soo he charged me $150 as a settlement fee and assured me I will not be charged again for it. But then I got an email from my bank that I have been charged again for the service. Please respond back to me as soon as possible.

Today on 12/13/2017 around 8pm, I was verbally assaulted and almost physically assaulted by a instructor named doris at crunch - stockton, 1155 e march ln, stockton, ca 95210. While finishing up my workout out I walked into the workout room and seen that the cardio class was over and all of the students were gone except for the instructor, being that the instructor had all of her belongings in her hand, I began to workout, after finishing up a couple of sets, doris told me "get out girl I have a class" after I told her okay but not to not speak to me that way she walked towards me in my face and called me a "stupid [censor]" said "[censor] you" and told me to "respect myself"and also stuck the middle finger at me, and was approaching me extremely closely and called me all sorts of deragatory words and by this time as she is cursing me out a few of her students were walking in and witnessed her behavior. I have never experienced so much disrespect by someone especially at a place where i'm paying my money. Not only did she disrespect me but she disrespected the company, being that she is supposed to be the face of your business and her students for speaking that way in front of them. I hope that something gets done about this situation because I want to workout in peace!
refund - cancelled one on one training
About 3 and a half weeks ago I called to postpone my one on one training sessions. Only to be charged. I called again and expressed my concern and was told if the manager had not called me back that could be the problem. Told me that she would process my refund. I expressed that this also caused my checking account to be overdrawn, was told that they would take care of that as well. I called again a few days later. The manager told me that since he never called me back that is why my account was not put on hold.

On friday october 27, 2017 I cancelled my membership before the ten days trial. My membership was cancelled and signed by fenil patel I was told that I would receive a check of $42.95 in the mail. On november 10th, I called and spoke to julie, the manager at that location she told me that my member has been cancelled and that they received notification on november 5 and that a cheque will be mailed within ten days of cancellation which would be by november 15 and to date I have not seen any cheque nor has the money been returned to my credit card. This is my second online message looking for my money. I will visit the gym to find out why is it taking crunch fitness so long for my money. I will spread the word online and to everyone if I do not receive my money by month end. Please send me my money.
Totally disagree: I was a bit impatient. the manager Julie contacted and said that they issued a refund, but not sure why I did not receive it. she was very apologetic and sweet. I wished I had not written this...she promised me that a cheque will be reissued and she is trying everything to resolve this issue. She is a gem and I jumped the gun too quickly. credit card charges
Good afternoon,
I am escalating this situation that apparently hasn't been handle properly. In the month of October I personally visited the Crunch location in Carrollwood, Tampa, FL to specifically cancel my subscription. The told me that cancellation was successful, however, I was inadvertently charged $19.25 on November the 7th for the month of November which I DID NOT used or even visited the gym since October. I waited until November 15th to see if I received the reimbursement for that amount but unfortunately I did not. I called the gym that same date and I spoke with one of your team members Alexa Carattini. She told me that she sent an email to corporate office and they told her you guys will refund the money to my bank account once ABC Financial releases it. Today's the 22 and I haven't received any refund. I need this issue to be resolved because probably for you guys $19.25 is nothing, but is a money that was debited from my account and it was not supposed to. Also, I would really appreciate NOT to be charged again form the month of December because once again, I canceled the membership since October.
