unprofessional
Recently while waiting for prescription at cvs in naugatuck, ct - an arguement insude the girl doing the register at the prescription fill in line, got really rude and started talking about a co worker negatively, she didn't know that co worker was actually there, the girl said i'm right here, the first girl with dyed jet black hair, said in a loud and arguementable voice if you are not happy you can leave now, the poor young lady just walked away from the pharmacy I assume she did leave, while 3 customers waited for our prescriptions all the girls three of them which was all of them that were left stopped what they were doing and all started gousaping talking bad about the girl that had left.. Waa laa 20 minutes later I had what I was waiting for.
I find that very unprofessional! If someone has a problem with a co worker they should do it away from the customers, 2 if the girl that left wants to presue a lawsuit I will back her up and 3 when the girl left one of the other girls looked at us and rolled her eyes instead of saying i'm sorry about that they all were talking about it,, rude unprofessional, and a customer who now uses walmart

walter, assistant manager
I have already filed a complaint with this company's corporate office regarding this matter; I have never received more disrespectful, rude and bizarre service/treatment as I received frtom this specific store's so-called assistant manager, Walter, on 3, February 2011. Because I have already went into detail with corporate, I will simply say that my own...

I frequently shop at the CVS drug store on 85th street and Lexington Avenue on Manhattans Upper East Side. I have a docile friendly Golden Retriever that I frequently bring into the store with me if I am passing by while walking her. The manager Amir Poloes store 3295 has approached me on two occasions and said no dogs allowed. Then he ignores what he says and lets me shop in the store with my dog. Today February 2, 2011 I went into the store with my dog to purchase a few items and once again he said no dogs allowed. It's a regulation set fourth by the Board of Health. I said how come you have allowed me into the store with her before ? He has even rung me up with my dog in hand and did not say a word.
I asked if I could pick up a few items he said okay. I then asked him for the paper that he has from the Board of Health. He left me waiting while he found the paper. Meanwhile I purchased twenty-five dollars worth of items. He brought me the paper I read it. I told him that he is inconsistent with enforcing this rule. Most of the time he allows me to shop in the store with my dog. He then said oh yeah are you calling me a liar? I said yes I am. I told him to stop bullying me and and remain consistent with the rules. Why am I allowed to shop here with my dog on some occasions and not others I proceeded to ask him? He became hostile towards me and tried to start a fight. I asked him for his Id name and store number to make a complaint. As I was leaving the store I ran into a neighbor that has a dog and asked him if they allowed him in with the dog. He said all of the time and they are so nice about it. He said probably because my dog is small. I then explained the situation to my neighbor. He said then they should not let him in with his dog either. The notice says no dogs doesn't state only small dogs and not big ones can come into the store. This situation needs to be straightened out because it appears that the manager for whatever reason was only giving me a hard time and enforcing this rule only with my dog. As I said he has allowed me in there with my dog and has not said a word. He is inappropriate, inconsistent and a bully. He needs to learn customer service skills and should not be allowed to enforce the rule when he feels like it. He has to enforce the rule with everyone that has a dog. Please do something about him as he is a bully and does not appear to know how to deal with the general public. This is a major part of his job as a store manager. I told him that he cannot speak to me that way ever again. I will not shop there anymore unless I get an apology from him for the way he spoke to me and for being inconsistent when enforcing the rule of no dogs in the store. I know many people that shop there that have dogs and I will make them aware of the situation. I asked him to give me a copy of the notice form the Board of Health and he refused.
Who do you think you are ? One who tells someone to grow up is one that needs to grow up or shut up !
I surely would not bring you into a store !
Many people in the city bring there dogs into stores. perhaps somebody needs to call the police on you !
Who are you ? He allows other dogs into the store and does not enforce the law. You say the law is the law! I don't like you either!
You are very limited !
What are you an eleven year old? What goes for one goes for all! Never heard of selective enforcement! Maybe I don't like you! You sound like just as much of an idiot as the store manager does ! Get a Life
Some people are filthier than animals !
He is inconsistent and allows some dogs in while others he doesn't . If it is the law than it should be enforced for all dogs. He allows people to carry there pooch in with them. Dogs are cleaner than some people I know you all sound angry and dislike animals. He is dead wrong.
People may have allergy or fear or both. Shopping should not have to be an angst-causing experience. The store policy exists for a reason and should be enforced in ALL cases. I know 2 people, family members, who were bitten and scratched by the same dog because its defiant owner chose to take it into a drugstore where it was clearly not allowed. In order for CVS to completely enforce the law, I suggest management replace the stupid, amateurish paper signs with real signs. Also, seriously, "CVS Loves Your Pets"? Do pet owners really even see the fine print saying that state law prohibits the animals from being in stores? Somebody call management and tell them that the way they do their presentation of the policy is childish, ineffective, and easy to overlook. No wonder pet owners think they can walk right by the signs! Anybody who has mentioned that this is wrong and inconsiderate of other customers' needs (the need to breathe and the need to shop without angst) is absolutely correct!
It doesn't matter if the management is selectively enforcing the rule. He can choose how he wishes to enforce it. I love animals, but unless they are for disabilities, they have no business in a store. People with allergies or other issues with animals should not have to worry. I hope you get kicked out permanently.
HRL - ok you've gone stark, raving mad and made this a personal attack. The fact is you were shown the code that says dogs are not allowed . So it is a simple fix . dont bring your dog back into that store and if you see someone with a dog in that store, if you choose to go back then call the health department right then and complain Then call the general manager, the number is usually listed on the front door . No one is attacking you or your dog. You are probably both decent but the fact is when I go to my drugstore, I dont want to dodge an animal Im allergic too just to get my medications. That is why it is a health code violation. Plain and simple. You are not going to win this fight . Your dog doesnt belong there, the park, your home, the pet store, those are acceptable places but until fluffy gets a job, pays with cash and doesnt offend anyone's senses he /she doesnt belong in a drugstore.
If I were him, I would have called the police on you. Who ever heard of trying to bring your dog into a store anyway? Unless of course it is a service dog.
i feel bad that your being ganged up on. But the facts are the facts. It doesnt matter if the manager has let you "go ahead and shop" with your dog, if thats the main problem complain to hr about his work ethic. However it is a law and everyone has to follow it. That is just the way things go. Ps although your dog may not be vicious some poeple are terrified of big dogs. I have seen a little girl get her hand bitten badly by a "loving" pet that was brought into a rite aid. It is more of a sefty and hygeine issue than a "we just dont like you and your dog "deal.
Let's say someone is trying to kill you, and you kill them in self defense. Now let's say you kill some one because they won't let your dog in their store. Is your plea going to be well I killed someone before and it was okay?
There's no possible way the health department told him that he shouldn't allow pets in there either. And how dare you assume we don't love animals. I love animals and other people even managers at times and respect their decisions because it's not my store after all, it's theirs and I'm not about to invite my pet in their store if that's not want they want.
PS .. if you want to shop with your animal why not just go to the pet store where I am sure that they will gladly welcome him or her without an issue instead of the local drug store?
He may be dead wrong but the fact is the law is the law . I love animals but some of us are allergic and that needs to be thought about before you go shopping with your pet. Some people can sneak a little dog in in their purse, still doesnt make it right. Keep your animals out of the store unless they are assistance animals. I dont want your animals hair, dander or other stuff on my clothes or near my medication. That is why it is part of the Board of Health Rules and Regulations. Atleast with an assistance animal I have no right to complain because that dog has a job to do .
He told you to stop, I'm from the board of people not listening to others, and I will show you my papers.
Excuse me. I am allergic to dogs and perhaps you should think of other people. Other than seeing eye dogs or assistance dogs it is a general rule anywhere that you just cant carry your pooch in with you . Maybe you should think of others instead of you and your dog or better yet leave him at home if you want to go shopping.
pharmacy personnel
W hen I go in to pick up a prescription there will be 3 techs standing around & one poor little tech running her butt of f because the others are yelling at her to get the drive thru or get pick up. She is a really sweet little girl and tries very hard to help but it amazes me that the rest of the staff will be stand there doing nothing except gum flapping and laughing and I had to wait for 1 hour to get my prescription filled. I've had enough of this place and am going to start going to Walgreens-- at least they all act like they are being productive. Very poorly run pharmacy!

too much info
My wife and I, just had our 3 years anniversary until january 27, 2011 around 3-4 pm. She went to cvs pharmacy at mary esther fl. A cashier by the name amber that works there told my wife a lot of information about me. That I was with another girl one night and that I also was flirting with this girl amber. Now i'm very upset of this cashier. My wife has pack all of her clothes and left me with a letter telling me that she wants a divorce. Now, I would like for this person amber to be terminated for destroying my marriage.
You white people all you think is Lawyers . We are latinos. Get te picture.
You people think your so smart. You don't know CRAP. I don't need more drama save that for your mama.
People have nothing else better to do... have it out for people in the customer service industry. You are obviously unhappy with your life and have it out for that poor girl. Get a life dude.
There is no cashier confidentiality agreement.
I notice that he did not say the cashier was mistaken on lied about him. Just that she gave out too much information concerning him. Interesting thought: Fidelity should be obvious! Cheating surely is far too easy to spot.

For Christmas I bought an AMC dinner & movie giftcard ($50) for a coworker and his wife. When he received it and called to find a theater it turns out there aren't any in our area. The closest one is in another state! I understand the no refund policy but CVS has not be willing to help me at all. I called AMC numbers I found and could not find a live person on the phone. I finally filed an incident with CVS and was told its up the district manager, if he chooses not to help me - I'm out $50.00. I find it rediculous that CVS and AMC filled their pockets at my expense and I'm left hanging as a consumer.
wow, this is a shame. I just spend 13 dollars on beef jerkey and some tylenon and the expiration date for both of the thing are already past. In fact, the beef jerkey and tylenon were both expired two weeks ago!
wow i just bought a gift card from CVS and i found out that it was fake because it didn't work on any item i bought

rude pharmacist
I called cvs pharmacy in regards to my 4 year old daughter who was vomiting and not keeping down fluids I wanted to know what else I could give her after trying the doctors suggestions (coca cola and ematrol) she yelled at me and said your calling the pharmacy about this ! you need to take her to the emergency room.Of course that was the next step but I wanted to try all options before dranging her to the ER and sitting for 3 hours waiting to be seen to be told to give her another over the counter medication.Even if this was the only advice she had for me she could have been more nice about it.Ihave delt with her before I thought pharmacist were supposed to be helpful but act like your bothering them.Your better off calling your doctor at 2:00 am.

pharamcists (and just about every other service industry in this day and age) no longer give a crap about anything. Nobody wants to go above and beyond what they are paid to do. It's not like the good old days of the friendly drug store where you can ask advice on anything...
they do have a point - again in this day and age, as far as liability goes on direction and whatnot - this is the age of the lawsuit...
controlling pharmacist
The pharmacists think they are smarter than my doctors. They insist they know what is better for me than my own doctor. I have waited in line and noticed every customer has a complaint and prescriptions are lost daily. I feel very sorry for the other clerks that have to work with incompetent and controlling pharacists. All I want to know is why are the CVS pharmacists control freaks. I have had the same doctor for over 12 years and a new pharmacist then she knows more or what meds I should and shouldn't take. CVS pharmacy is the worst place to fill your prescriptions! I left them for our small down pharmacy where customers are treated like real patients, not drug addicts.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I had the worst experience in cvs pharmacy...I fully understand you.Never expected their pharmacists would be this terrible. This girl gave me 8 pills instead of 12 and said"can't be' to my face and walked away. But another nice older lady helped me.I think they see theirselves way too high than their costumers and we really should not be treated like that at all.All we did is give them business.
don't care of their employees
Ever since CVS bought out Eckerds, the company has been doing so much stuff to their employees. Benefits, pay, anything that you can think off. But the most serious thing, is payroll. CVS does have some good workers. but not enough hours. Try running a fast pase store with only 200 hours per week. But yet, the district managers want everything done with in the week. And there is no way, an they wonder why, CVS is losing so many good Managers and Assitant Managers. An to top it off, if the work is not done, they get written up. WTH! Thats why, when you go see a CVS an it looks liked crap, now you know. So, if you want to work at CVS, be prepared to work only 15- 20 hours
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I work in a CVS in Pennsylvania and I completely identify with you! many times I am there we only have 2 or 3 techs and 1 pharmacist. People at drive thru, people at register, phones ringing, people at drop off then we get the occasional idiot asking us about something like...i dunno...shampoo! And thats on top of filling prescriptions, making sure everything we need is ordered for the next day, etc. As of right now I am healing from a broken ankle and havent been to work in a couple months to recover and I will feel very bad when I go back and cant run here there everywhere as fast as i used to!
Customers are starting to notice, and hopefully corporate will catch on soon as well.
bad customerservice
If you're looking for outstanding customer service and friendly smiles, then CVS in Baxley Ga is DEFINITELY NOT the place to go. Mattie is the pharmacy manager and she is sooooo rude and will treat you like dog ### . And beware of all the other female black employees at the pharmacy because they seem to be the same way too. Even to go to the extent to deny your much needed medications, not have them ready on time, lie about you to other employees and much, much more. How can they get away with this you ask? Because they reside in a town of under 5 thousand people in the south and are not part of a franchise. So if you want some good civilized service, then go to Walmart where the pharmacists know how to treat you white.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Walmart is EVIL. www.hatewalmart.com
Yes, I too have gotten bad service from a CVS employee who was black.
He apparently was a bigot and prejudiced against white people, as he would never say anything to the whites, only sneer and leer at them...but he was all friendly and smiles to all the black people.
I complained to headquarters about this guy, and I have not seen him there since.
Dont get me wrong, Im not prejudiced...but apparently he was.
The other people who work in the CVS pharmacy I go to are black, and they are super wonderful! They go out of their way to make ALL customers feel appreciated. I dont let one bad employee spoil it for all the others. Thats not fair to them.
missing pills
For the past couple of months I have run out of my prescription for phentermine a few days too soon. This month, I counted the pills when I got home and found they shorted me one pill of the phentermine and the diovan. When I called in to complain, I was left on hold, the phone disconnected, and when I called back, then the pharmacist insisted that he counted the pills twice and had someone else count behind him. Rather than do the right thing and tell me I could pick up my missing pills, I was told to bring the entire prescription back. I don't have time for all that. Count your pills people. If they short everyone one pill guess how much they can save over the long haul. Better yet, since the phentermine is a controlled substance, maybe someone there has a little drug problem. What are your thoughts? I ready to have my prescription transferred to walgreens. Im pissed off!

Do you really not understand that generic items are usually not as good as brand names? This isn't always the case, but it often is. That's why the brand names often cost more.
cvs pharmacy sucks
I recently had the unfortunate experience of trying to renew a prescription at CVS. I pointed out to the girl that took the Dr slip from me that the Dr had written it for one year, 180 pills and 3 renewals at 180. I told her that I only wanted one months supply and asked if that was a problem the way the prescription was written. She said No Problem!
Ha! I went to pick up the prescription today and asked what the renewals showed. It showed 3 refills at 30 each. I told the clerk that it was supposed to read 11 at 30 each, not 3. She goes to the computer and shows me that the computer says I have three refills at 180 each. I said that was not right, since the order I was picking up was only for 30 pills and not 180, therefore the computer should either show 11 at 30 or 1 at 60 and 3 at 180.
She insisted that the computer was right, that I had 3 refills left at 180. Nothing I said could sway her feeble mind, the computer was right as far as she was concerned because she didn't know how to calculate the correct number. Mind boggling stupidity!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Well you arent loosing any pills since the computer say you have 3 refills on the 180 pill so whats the problem. They have to enter it the way the doctor wrote it as they cant just change the quantity just because you want them to.
Most pharmacy techs are not trained in pharmacy math (or at least not as much as a pharmacist). You should have demanded to ask the pharmacist because the pharmacist would've been in a better position to answer your complaint.
Another reason might be some insurances ex. NJ Medicaid will only allow a maximum of 5 refills which we have to manually edit on the prescription even though your dr might've prescribed for a year.
We didn't go to school for 6 years for nothing. Next time, even though we're busy, ask us. If it's not a question we can't answer like "why is my copay higher" (call the insurance) we will answer.

I was falsely accused and shown no proof, let alone given a reason for being fired. I HATE CVS and the idiots they put in charge of SOME of their stores.
