Few days ago I picked my medicine and found out when I got home the medicine was not mine but it had my name on the bottle. This particular medicine was named Premarin and it's a cancer medication. I returned to the store around midnight and confronted the pharmacist about the mix up. He apologized and that was the end of the situation. No if I hadn't been alert about my medicines and had prior knowledge of how my medication looked I could have easily of used the drug. It could have killed me. I changed pharmacies and had been CVS free for about three years. It so happens that a couple of months ago I went to my dentist and had dental surgery. My dentist prescribed some medicine and being late at night I had no recourse but to have it from CVS. I began to go back into that CVS on a regular basis and yesterday I was in need of medicine. I called the pharmacist and requested to him that I needed my medicine refilled. His reply was that I needed to go to my doctor's office and pick up a new script. I explained him that he knew me very well and there was no problem in filling the medicine without the script but he refused and the argument started to take a rude turn I was already filled with anger with the previous incident, that I decided to make him learn a lesson. I have filed a complaint against them.

I had a prescription of hydroxyzine at this pharmacy and I had submitted the prescription and was given the medication. I had ONE refill for this medication. I had called the pharmacy and asked them to fill the REFILL for the hydroxyzine... as well as some other medications. I went in to pick up my medications (four total) on May 31, 2008. The pharmacy tech presented me with all FOUR medications including the hydroxyzine... then I changed my mind and asked him to return two of the medications as I did not feel I wanted to continue taking them. These two were hydroxyzine and Bactroban.

Then, on June 2, I called the pharmacy again and spoke with Steve Borowy, the manager of the pharmacy. I asked him to again, refill the two medications I had them return as I decided I did, in fact, need them. Steve looked for the hydroxyzine prescription and said it was not THERE! I said please keep looking as I was just there on Saturday and the pharmacy tech had the medication in his hand... Mr. Borowy was very, very nonchalant about this... as a matter of fact, he was downright rude to me! He actually tried to insinuate that I was lying!

When I had just picked up the medication on the Saturday before! It should have been listed on my medication list in their computer! He again said he did not see it in the computer under my list of medications! I am shocked. Having a medication, when in fact, the medication was filled for me only two days before!

I suggest you people look into this. I am going to file a police report, because obviously, someone there had stolen the refill, and deleted it from my list of medications! and Mr. Borowy has completely ignored me and brushed this off! I am also going to file a police report for theft against this CVS Pharmcy.

You can't just decide to stop taking something and then days later decide that you need it. You're not a doctor, and if you refilled something and then cancelled it, there isn't a refill left. You missed your chance on that one, buddy. And nobody stole your prescription. You cancelled it, so it went back into the stock because you said you didn't need it. Stop wasting people's time. You're ridiculous.

Mike Yousef is a 'pharmacist' at the CVS I fill my prescriptions at. He has (a number of times) refused to refill a prescription because he 'thinks' it's too early. However, my doctor doesn't think it's too early, and neither does my insurance company. In fact, he refused to fill a prescription I had, so I called my insurance company to find out why. They said it was unethical of him to deny my prescription, and that I had every right to pick it up on the day in question. He still refused to give me my prescription. In fact, he actually yelled at me on the phone. He spoke to me as if I were a 'junkie', or a little girl that didn't know what she was talking about. I am very angry that this man actually has a job at CVS. My insurance company was shocked that he wouldn't fill my prescription. It has nothing to do with it being too early, it's because he personally thinks its too early. He has no regard for human decency. I've discussed this with some others, and another person I know has had the same problem with this man. I'm a waitress so I know what it's like to handle customer relations and I cannot believe this man actually has a job.

Linsay may have had a bad day but there is no excuse for this teenager to be so rude. All of the employees working in the pharmacy have been so very nice and patient, (especially with the impatient customers they have to deal with!) This is one employee who will surely be getting complaints in the future.

A pharmacist can legally deny to fill any prescription he/she doesn't feel comfortable filling-get over it. And he wouldn't say it's early if it wasn't-we don't just make crap up. You're obviously taking more of the medication than prescribed on the rx and that's between you and your doctor-The pharmacist does NOT have to fill it if they don't want to. If you don't like it-suck it up and go to another pharmacy.

just about every medication requires a prescription. unless your doctor indicated you had refills, a pharmacist can not refill just because he knows you.this is actually a federal law.

Premarin is made from mare urine and is used to treat menopause symptoms...and if you don't have a valid Rx the pharmacist can't just give you what you want...sounds like you owe that pharmacist an apopology

Just because you had a problem with them before doesn't mean they can bend the rules for you now. That pharmacist can't just refill your prescription because you say so. He could lose his job and his license. How many drug addicts do you suppose would love to call a pharmacy and say "Hey it's okay for you to do it because I say so"? If the rules (and law) requires you to get a new script, then that's the way it is. You might be able to just call your doc and have him fax over or call it in to CVS so you don't have to make a trip. But, you just can't authorize your own refills.

Hi looks like the facts are not here firstly premarin is used to treat hotfalshes and other Postmenopausal symptoms and yes i guess a bit of general knowledge in a medical field is enough to know about simple stuffs like these .Secondly looks like you have been forcing the on duty Pharmacist to call in a narcotic Prescription for you ..FYI This is fraud and illegal in all the states of the country both as per federal law and per indiavidual state law's so you were the one who can still be in trouble for forcing a medical professional to break the law so my suggestion to you is straighten you act and dont get yourself in any troubles...and yes i do know the laws and legalities surronding the Pharmacy ..Hope you understand the legalities before you act ...

Um are you serious? Are you AT ALL aware that it is against the law for the pharmacist to just say "Oh, your doctor knows you well? Sure, sir, no problem at all! We'll go right ahead and fill your prescription!" No.. That will happen in NO pharmacy in the world. Not CVS, not Walgreens, not Walmart...NOWHERE. Sure I can see you being angry about a mixup with the wrong medication, but you're really upset that you were out of refills and weren't responsible enough to obtain a new prescription from your doctor? WOW.. Get over yourself, seriously. Now hopefully you know that next time your RX bottle says "REFILLS REQUIRE AUTHORIZATION" it actually means REFILLS REQUIRE AUTHORIZATION.. Its not just some prank CVS Pharmacy employees are playing on you. I agree with No Complaints Just Advice... Go to another pharmacy. No one at CVS wants to deal with ###s like you.

First do your research...Premarin is a HORMONE replacement...not a cancer med. If you know so much about prescriptions you ALSO know this..."federal law prohibits the dispensing of this medication without a valid prescription." This is not 1955 and pharmacies are insanely busy. Take some responsibility for yourself and call your doctor.

cvs pharmacy eastchester i have been a loyal customer of this store for years . the staff is wonderful and always so helpful but since Dec 09, its was gotten so bad. i see less of the staff that has been there for years and more of "new management ' . well this new Management is awful and rude.

Mary Green, and Alece are the workers for CVS. They are being rude to the hispanic people.
They dont help the customers that are spanish, and when you asked them a question they answer back rudly; as in yelling. Last time they were talking to me like if i were stupid, and that i didnt know any english.

You sound like pretty much every customer that comes into CVS. No clue how pharmacy procedures or drug regulations work, but quick on the trigger to judge the entire staff because you didn't get what you want. Good riddance.

web site had product listed alteril otc sleeping aid on sale 30ct for 8.59 i told clerk before she rang the item up and presented my cvs care card the item rang up 11.99 tax total was 12.95 she just said i don't know why it was on sale on the web site and made no motion to even try to check.

CVS in Chambersburg and Waynesboro, PA are charging an addition $1.00 911 fee to Prepaid Cell Phones and then taxing the 911 fee. I have heard of a 911 fee imposed on the refill minutes cards but never on the actual cell phone itself. What are they trying to do!

They are terrible to their employee that was hurt on the job they pay work comp hearing division, dir, dr. S to make life misserable for the enjured workers keep from getting dr. Care no matter how much pain and suffering they going through.

I am a CVS employee...The stores will NOT honor the prices listed at CVS.com! It's company policy! The website is cheaper to get you to shop online.

My husband needed emergency bp mess filled. pharmacist did not do it in the stated 20 mins in fact him and another started being argumentative and then purposely ignored me and my son and took well over 1 HOUR to fill it with us standing there being ignored and talked about the entire time.

If you seriously think that any pharmacist well do something illegal just because they know you, you're seriously mistaken. I know for a fact that my pharmacist knows me because the pharmacist is related to me but even I can't get medication I take on a monthly basis for my MS because I have severe nerve damage in my done which affects my legs and cause so much pain that I've even had to have a pain pump put in, yet my cousin the pharmacist has to follow the LAW set forth by three FDA and either call the Dr and get authorization, or depending on the medication they may even require a paper script. I take Xanax and that can be done over the phone, our through their electronic system, but the Percocet I take for breakthrough pain requires an actual paper script with the Dr's signature. I can certainly empathize with you on the situation where they gave you Premarin, but it certainly would not have made you sick or kill you. It's just estrogen. However, I think you need to call your CVS pharmacist and apologize for being so rude. Honestly, it people like you, who think the world revolves around you, that disgusts me the most. Let me tell you something about yourself. You are not above the LAW! Get over yourself and realize that other people have feelings and aren't there to serve you and only you.

Visited CVS in Apalachicola, FL and needed to use restroom badly. I was told there was no public restroom. I have shopped here religiously for years. Not very happy right now.
