I am a customer who has several prescriptions with CVS. I do my best to use the online customer service to request refills and so forth. I try to do this early enough so that I can have the medicine delivered. It is hit or miss to find the pharmacy open
The last prescription I picked up, they waited until the last minute to refill after I requested it online, and then called to expedite it as on the way. Still not refilled, so I waited on hold for 1 and 1/2 hours to speak with the pharmacist who finally answered and said she pushed it through. It was down to the last minute and out of medicine when they got it ready. Went to the pharmacy to pick it up, they were not open. Stated they would be open at 2. Took off from work to go pick it up at 2 p.m. Still not open. There were about 20 people there waiting. My prescription was ready and paid for all I needed was it to be handed to me. Finally around 3 someone opened the pharmacy (with a huge attitude)
This is UNACCEPTABLE as this is messing with the health of people who rely on the medication on a daily basis. Having to go without because they have no access to the medication.
I have been using CVS for at least 20 years. Not having access to my medication after I did all the right things to order it is scary and dangerous
Desired outcome: Better access to my medication on time.
