I drove one hour to Atlanta airport to send my documents to Delta Dash to be sent to Fort Lauderdale so my crucial documents could be sent that day for a closing, expecting a reliable and timely delivery service. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by multiple failures in service.
Despite there being no reported flight delays or cancellations, my package remained in Atlanta throughout the day. Receiving conflicting information, I was repeatedly informed that the package would be on a later flight, only to discover it never left Atlanta. This resulted in a significant business loss of a $30,000.00 deal, impacting my professional reputation.
The customer service experience further deteriorated when I requested a refund for the unfulfilled service. Initially directed to DeltaCargo.com for the refund process, I encountered unhelpful responses and a lack of accountability. The on-site staff at both locations contradicted each other, with the Atlanta counter refusing refunds and redirecting me back to DeltaCargo.com.
Attempting to address my concerns with a supervisor proved futile, as the pick-up counter staff in Atlanta, particularly the second-shift gentleman, refused to provide any supervisor information, contact details, or assistance. This lack of transparency and professionalism is unacceptable and does not align with the standard of service I expect from Delta.
To add to my dismay, my interaction with a customer service representative named "Ric" was disrespectful and unhelpful. She not only dismissed my request to speak with a supervisor but also failed to provide necessary information, undermining the overall customer experience.
As a longstanding customer who has consistently praised Delta's services and referred clients to your airline, this incident has shattered my confidence. I implore you to investigate this matter thoroughly, address the systemic issues in customer service, and provide a resolution to ensure that such incidents do not recur.
