no magazine delivery for months
Hey Randall Brant,
Ever since Allure, Marie Claire, and other magazines switched my delivery to your service 4 months ago, I haven't received a single magazine. Turns out newspaper carriers don't actually want to leave their cars to deliver magazines to my front door in the middle of the night for what amounts to a few extra bucks a week. You can throw a newspaper without leaving your car- magazines not so much. So they just don't deliver them at all. You might want to reevaluate your business model as it's a complete failure. Once enough people start complaining and cancelling their subscriptions publishers will realize the mistake they've made. Would you make all those extra deliveries for 5-15 cents!? I don't think so. Shameful!

non delivery of my magazines
Unbeknownst to me Foodnetwork magazine and HGTV magazine switched my delivery method for receiving my magazines. I haven't received an issue of either magazine for 6 months. Apparently I was supposed to receive front door delivery instead of my dependable mailman placing them in my mailbox. Every time I went online to complain I was given an extra month of magazines, but never received any. I called the magazines directly and they took me off this service and now I will receive them thru the post office. I don't get the point of this given all the complaints. And why wasn't I told this service was being implemented.

damn magazines
I didn't order them. Don't want them. I put them in the garbage as soon as they get delivered. I want to stop them from being delivered. I don't have time for them. I DON'T WANT THEM AT ALL
The magazines are Vogue,
Condé Nast Traveler and Elle
This is only a few of them, there are a bunch of them.
They get delivered a few at a time but there are a lot of them. I don't know how to stop them. I haven't been able to find an address for any of them. If someone could help me I would appreciate it very much.

This company is trying to compete with the USPS by under cutting their shipping prices by exploiting your local paper delivery people. They pay them pennies for doing this which doesn't even cover extra gas usage or time involved as many of these deliveries are not normal paper route addresses. Half the time they don't even see the so called wages they were promised.
new delivery of magazines
This morning my husbandn brought in the December issue of Country Living. It had been delivered along with the newspapers, and (as the newspapers often are) it was wet despite being in plastic. There was a note inside from DOORFRONTDIRECT advising me that "your publisher has refreshed the way you'll receive some of your materials". That means Hearst has decided to ditch the post office for dumping my magazines on the sidewalk. Since we get a slew of Hearst magazines everything will probably get the same treatment.
So rather than being warm and dry in my mailbox, my magazines will be open to the vagaries of the weather ( it can rain cats and dogs here) as well as being stolen.
"Doorfront Direct saves you time since you don't have to walk out to your mailbox". Well, our house is gated, so not only do I have to walk that far, I have to unlock the gate, bend down and pick it up/fish it out of the puddle.
Obviously Hearst thinks this will be cheaper than the USPS, but, as my grandmother used to say, oy vesmir.

country living magazine
Ever since my subscription has been switched over to this method of delivery... It has been horrible! I received one issue laying in my grass and since that issue I havent received another one since july! I have called the publisher and is all they say is we will extend your issues?
I just want my magazine! This is the most ridiculous way of receiving (or not receiving) a subscription that I have payed for!

Apparently delivery person mistook my doorstep for the end of driveway. So now instead of receiving a dry magazine from the mailbox or newspaper box I'll be retrieving it from the driveway regardless of the rain or snow which does occasionally happen in this part of the world. I get that it's easier to just toss the mag on the driveway than it is to actually place it in a mailbox, or get out of the van to leave it on a doorstop. What a lousy idea for the consumer, weather be damned, just throw it out there. Turn this service over to Amazon, they actually will deliver the parcel to the door.

have not received my magazine for last 4 months when i called customer service they said i would have my november issue sent the next day or two of course that did not happen they also said that they would call me back on the following monday after i complained on the previous friday and of course they did not call back my subscription
was fine through the Post office can't understand why they stopped using them.
I have not received my issues of Allure Magazine since this summer of 2019. I have reached out to the company numerous times via email, their website and phone without any response or acknowledgement. I wish to have this service canceled and my issues mailed to me through the USPS because bit getting any issues at all is unacceptable. Thank you

I have tried to use the Doorfront Direct webpage to complain about the delivery of magazine subscription but there is always some sort of error. My magazine was being thrown at the bottom of my driveway when delivered. I also did not receive my October issue.
I never had any complaints when USPS delivered it.
Very disappointed with the delivery service. Two thumbs down!

I have not been receiving my magazines, Doorfront Direct does not make any deliveries in my area. I have missed several issues of my magazines. I don't want them to be delivered this way any longer. Do not deliver Food Network, Bon Appétit, or any other magazines by Doorfront Direct ever again!
Please exclude this address from door front direct. Deliver my magazines by mail from now on.

This experience with Doorfront has been horrible. I have probably received ONE magazine that isn't soaking wet. all in all, I think that they have remembered to deliver 3 magazines and 1 wasn't drenched. I asked for a replacement for all and didn't receive them. Now I am not getting any of my subscriptions at all. I have asked to cancel them or have them mailed to me but no one answers my emails. When I call the number on the web page, the customer service says that they don't deal with Doorfront direct- that it's just the local paper. I am so frustrated that they have Stolen my money.

magazine delivery
My magazines are not delivered anywhere near my door front. They are thrown in my yard, further than my mailbox where it it hard for me to walk to get them. I have a covered, gated front porch but no magazine has ever been placed there. I have tried to contact both Hearst & DoorFront Direct but have not received any response. Unfortunately it seems my only recourse is to cancel my subscriptions that are delivered this way.

non receipt of 3 magazines
I have not received any issues of my subscriptions to Country Living, Elle Decor, and House Beautiful for several months now. I just discovered that your company is now in charge of delivery instead of the USPS. If I can't change back to USPS delivery, I will be cancelling all three subscriptions.
The last issue of any of the three that I actually received was either in May or early June. It was an issue of Country Living that was soaked and laying at the end of my driveway. I thought someone had thrown it away as trash.

This is the poorest delivery option I've ever heard of. Instead of DoorFront it should say street front. Rain or snow it's thrown on my sidewalk, grass, driveway or where ever it lands. I want my magazines either in my mail box or on my front porch not every where else. If this is what's going to happen I'd rather not even get the magazines. My mail box is out by the street and my husband brought in a magazine that was in a plastic bag soak and wet laying on the ground by the mail box. We had to throw it out it was so wet, so what's the point in even receiving them!

i can not understand why you are called doorfront direct when all you do is throw my GQ magzine out on the lawn by the street every month so far ALL 4 issues you delivered never made it to the door today being October 27 i found my GQ November issue thrown by the sidewalk by the street soaked up with water IT RAINED ALL DAY TOTALLY UNREADALBE and full of water your method of delivery has become an annoyance to me and a waste of my money when the issues are just dumped out anywhere the driver feels like throwing it SO who is going to replace this magazine issue for the November 2019 GQ ? do i need to now have to contact the magazine company and inform them about this poor delivery service i am getting ?

Received my new issue of ELLE magazine today. At the bottom of my steps... completely drenched from the rain.
It is ruined.
DoorFront Delivery states it "is a convenient new way for you to receive magazines and catalogs in your doorstep!" And that it "saves you time since you don't have walk out to your mailbox".
Is it suppose to be more convenient for employees or consumers?
If this is the way it will always be delivered I'm not going to waste my money on magazine subscriptions just to have to asked for replacements if they continue to get ruined in the rain (and snow! since that is on its way!)

two magazines
This is the first time I've had my magazines delivered like this, and they were not put on my porch, instead the car drove up and opened the window the threw them on the end of my drive way. Thank god I was leaving soon so I could get them before the rain started. 10/26/19. If this is the way its going to be delivered from now on, it would be nice if it made to the porch. My magazine was NOT delivered to my Front door, but left at the bottom of my driveway - NEXT TO MY MAILBOX! Really?! I did not even realize that it was for me at first since the town recycling pick up was the day before, at first glance it looked like something that had fallen out of the recycling bin. I will cancel my subscription if this is the way delivery will be going forward.

The mailbox is not the recepticle for Door front direct items. If correct postage is not a fixed, the item is returned to the Post Office and recycled without ever seeing the customer. It appears a lot of your customers have valid complaints but the mailbox is not the answer unless the mail man is delivering it like the used to, accurately efficiently and monthly without issue

Just started receiving for the first time for my new magazine food network on the first delivery received it on my front lawn and second delivery on the lawn again, halfway to my door and got wet ! In the past I have five other magazines received by regular mail with no problems and they stay dry. If able to please change this to regular mail which I've had no problems.
