Facebook Marketplace

Sold an item for $9.00 on 2/14/21. In March a chargeback was filed even though the item was delivered. So Facebook deducted the $9 from my account to give to the customer and also deducted $20 extra for the fake chargeback to keep for themselves.

I asked for a refund but Facebook Marketplace told me in an email they will not be helping me.

I deserve the $29.00 to be returned to me, please advise.

Desired outcome: Facebook Marketplace should return the $29.00 that was stolen from me.

Facebook Personal harassment

This person the graveyard witch on your site posted this video bashing me personally calling me names cursing the [censored] you [censored] up her [censored]. All in the video about me for asking about her services she offers. Once I figured she wasn't who I needed and blocked her she reads the message chat to her onterage of fans for her page The Graveyard Witch

This is wrong and does go against your community standards for the way she speaks about me. You have chosen twice before to not do anything about it except telling me to block her. I have had enough of her onterage doing the same hate in their comments.

Desired outcome: Suspend her for a month no more harassment of people.

Facebook Message at the beginning of my email up until the community standards comment

I sent this message to what I THOUGHT was the help desk but it was sent straight back to me. My reply starts: I HAVE RECEIVED THIS MESSAGE. As I said in the email I have a warped sense of humour, yes, BUT that doesn't mean I am a nasty person in any sense.

I hope you can help me thank you

Phil Steer

If you think that this doesn't go against our Community Standards, let us know.

I have received this message for the SECOND time in two days. I was looking through my BEST FRIEND'S photographs that she posted on facebook &yes I was reacting to them as well as commenting on them. They are INNOCENT FAMILY HOLIDAY snaps which, as her best friend she allows me to look through them.

I would LOVE to know what I am doing wrong because as I said, this is the SECOND time in three days this has happened to me. Yes, I have a warped sense of humour BUT I AM NOT A PAEDOPHILE, which I get the feeling you think I am. Due to the fact I live with a LIFELONG disability, I think I am entitled to have a sense of HUMOUR different to other people.

I have told my best friend what has happened & her reaction was OMG! REALLY.

Now, PLEASE sort this out as both me and ALL my friends think this is laughable how & why you are doing this to me. Don't you REALLY think that if I WAS a paedo, my close friends (AND MY FAMILY) would have realised by now.

My email adrees is: [protected]@sky.com

THANK YOU

Desired outcome: I would just like to be able to post, reply & comment on posts without risk of the accusation I am a paedophile, which is what I feel I am being accused of.

Facebook Video Upload

On June 12th at 4am PST I uploaded an original track with a video obtained by a paid rendering service, specterr.com. By 10am the same morning, Facebook had blocked my video on behalf of Sony Music Entertainment - SME despite the fact that the song is original content and the video was legally obtained through a paid rendering service.

I immediately disputed it and filed a claim with Facebook as this is now the third time a video of mine has been flagged for copyright, demonstrating a clear and consistent problem with their algorithms.

I have not yet heard back from them on the dispute or claim, but it's frustrating having my art censored because of their error.

Desired outcome: Given that removing and uploading the video could lead to a suspension in the extreme likelihood that it is once again flagged, the block needs to be lifted immediately.

Facebook Facebook MarketPlace

Hello,

Facebook MarketPlace works in a way that if you want to sell something you must follow the link and create a 'Stripe' account in which I did. I was selling a Nintendo Switch Lite for £180.00. A buyer have contacted me and made a payment via Stripe. I've sent the item 1st class so a signature was needed to be able to accept the package, I did inform the buyer; a day after the package was delivered and signed for I've messaged the buyer asking if 'everything came in one piece and if he's happy with it' to which he replied 'Yeah everything is good thank you'. the day after he have blocked me on facebook and created a dispute for Fraudulent. I'm in the place where I've lost my item and the money and for some reason was even charged from stripe in amount of £205.97.. for what? the dispute is still in progress. At this moment I can't do anything about it. this is sickening. I have more than enough proof that the item was sent, delivered and the buyer was indeed happy. I would like to get all the help i can from facebook during this dispute and a possible case against the buyer and website 'Stripe' which facebook themselves linked.

Desired outcome: Help from facebook to hold the fraud accountable for his actions and more.

Facebook Hacking and bullying!

My face book page has been hacked by Eddie Henderson. That is the name that he gave. I met him ON YOUR FACEBOOK DATING SITE. HE has taken over my account. I got assistance from your web site to go in and change my email address. Which was [protected]@ymcachicago.org. He went right back into my account and changed it to [protected]@gmail.com. He changed my Facebook profile. The name under the profile is EDDIE.

I got on the dating app because it stated that it was safe and secure. However, it is NOT. I have memories on my account from family members who hast passed on to be with the Lord. These pictures I only have on Facebook. I should not have to open up a new account because of this hacker.

I would be devastated if he delete my page.

PLEASE assist with this issue. Thank you!.

Facebook Complaint

Facebook was never able to handle my account appropriately after being hacked last Monday, May 30, 2022. I made it very clear to Facebook that only communications from Mauldin, SC and soon Plano, TX were authorized locations of communication and after finally getting their attention and response almost a week after my account was hacked. Facebook allowed the hacker on my account to change my phone number to his and add his email, so I could be locked out permanently. There is no personal communication with anyone at Facebook and the only way to regain control of your account is with resetting your password, yet that reset goes straight to the hacker. I had friends and family members report it, I opened dummy accounts and specifically explained the issue in the comments section, yet it all went ignored. The hacker posted lewd and obscene gestures, friended people I didn’t even know, and embarrassed me to no end. There was nothing, absolutely nothing I could do to stop it because all they did was send a reset password to the hacker over and over via his phone number and his email. This is without a doubt the most inept organization when it comes to security and protecting customers. My phone number had been the only phone number on this account since the day it was opened around 2008 and without a call, an email, anything, it was changed to the hackers number and the email changed as well. I was then helpless as he did whatever he wanted and can continue to do whatever as I still can’t get anyone’s attention with the company. I’ve sent two tweets to Facebook as well and both have gone I responded to. All of the reports of fraud and warnings from me and my friends and family members went completely ignored. I find the defamation and complete lack of security on the part of FB inexcusable and my question to them is, how do you plan to compensate me for the degradation, humiliation, embarrassment, frustration, time and utter hopelessness caused by a complete lack of security or care about your customers' security? In short, once someone hacks your FB account and are allowed to change the phone number and email, this is what happens to you. This is inexcusable and Facebook owes me huge in regard to compensation for all of the above.

The hacker still has control of my account to this day.

Desired outcome: Large compensation and a description of changes in process to greatly enhance customer security. One that allows the customer to escalate and get an immediate response if needed.

Facebook disabled account without cause

My account was disabled but i did not receive any reason for why.

I cannot log into view what the problem is.

I asked for a review and was told it's too late.

I have not posted content for 10years or so. I only use for messaging and logins.

I have tried to contact oversight board, but i cannot access an 'appeal number'.

It seems I am guilty without sentencing and i have no rights whatsoever.

What's also interesting, is that my account is disabled, but i keep get emails and notifications - and i have no way of stopping that! - FB is spamming me in breach of the spam act. if my account is disabled, FB should not be allowed to email me except for legal matter!

I don't care about my FB account and FB is NOT a company i want to associate with if this is how they work, but i do want to understand;

why my account was disabled,

why i can't do anything about it,

how can i stop the emails and notifications from continuing,

how can i get FB to remove ALL my account, data and IP.

Desired outcome: Have my account and all data completely removed from FB

Facebook Facebook Lock me out 06/22, after I sign out. I even tried upload my state ID

I have a Facebook account since 2007. I became a blogger pubblisher that advertised on Facebook, first with Don Garlits in 2021-03/2021. I also advertised The Monkees from [protected]. I have 105 secure blogs. Well, early in the morning around the 2:00 AM hour, after putting WHO 14,900,000 died from Covid link, which is all true, I signed of my account. Now this was in my Facebook page: The Monkees, Monkeemobile, Kyote. However, you force me to identify myself, after, I signed in. You wouldn't allow me to enter. I have was forced to make to have six different numbers, as codes. You tried to play the game, of picking all the quotes, I wrote which had to pick three, yet I did more. You lied to me. There are four people that need to hear from me: Dox and Paolo of Dox Art Factory, Italy, who owns The ZZR Barris Kustoms, as well as the copyrights. For three years plus, we've been working on this. I'm the only American involved this restoration, via Facebook Messenger. There's also Brett Barris, we buy the pictures needed, which, I owe him money, for pictures of The ZZR, for The ZZR restoration. Even, Steve Scott, I owe money for a super deluxe Uncertain T, who created in High school in 1965. If you want to file a suit, and even call in the Federal Trade Commission, and even The FBI, I will, If you refuse back my account. I had dealings with every major FBI Executive Director, FBI Special Agents, and even fill in FBI Agents. Now my state ID picture was good enough, to upload to get my new smartphone, so why, do you have to be so picky. My place, has real granite, not fake granite counter tops. I hold you responsible, for leaving Facebook, unguarded, since many times, I tried to sign out, and you wouldn't let me.

Desired outcome: I want to sign in and out, and be left alone.

Facebook Tree removal services - paid in full

In December of 2021, Brady Tree Services came to our home as a door-to-door sales technique, offering one full day's worth of service for Tree cutting, with two stump removals and to include the two dead trees that are hanging over our home.

They came the next day and charged us via contract, $5000 as a day rate to get all of the services they promised completed.

At the end of the day, they did not cut down the two dead trees that were hanging over the house, nor remove two stumps. They blamed it on not having a proper lift to cut down the trees. They said that their lift was down and that they would call us within one week to schedule follow-up services.

They did not call us, and we had called them back. We received a message that they were on a two-week hiatus and would call us when they get back, which we did not receive.

My husband and I have been calling at least twice a month since January in order to get this contract fulfilled and we have been getting the runaround about the lift still being down and that we have not been forgotten about.

In April 2022 we finally got ahold of the owner, Josh and he apologized as he had made some changes to his company within the past few months. This made us hopeful, however after a few short weeks it was clear that we were still getting the runaround as he said he would call us back and did not. He also made statements that we were not forgotten about.

Josh made a claim that he came out to survey the remaining work to be done on Tuesday, May 24th, however this is false as he never showed up to our home. (He was not seen on any of our several cameras, and I, Gloria Trinastic, had been home all day and no one rang our doorbell).

Desired outcome: We would like our two trees and two stumps taken care of or a full refund of $5000 on our pre-paid contract that has not been fulfilled.

Facebook is a widely recognized social networking platform that allows users to connect and share with family and friends online. Originally created for college students, Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg and has since become available to anyone over the age of 13 with a valid email address.

The platform's core services include the ability to create a personal profile, add other users as friends, post text and photo updates, send messages, and receive notifications when others update their profiles or interact with posts. Facebook also offers a live video streaming feature, the ability to create and join groups based on various interests, and the option to create and promote events.

In addition to its social networking capabilities, Facebook provides a marketplace for buying and selling goods locally, as well as a gaming platform that can be accessed within the site. Businesses and creators can set up Pages to connect with their audience, run targeted advertisements, and gain insights through Facebook's analytics tools.

Over the years, Facebook has expanded its product offerings to include other services such as Messenger, a standalone messaging app, and has acquired other companies like Instagram, a photo and video sharing platform, and WhatsApp, an encrypted messaging service.

Facebook's services are accessible via web browsers or through its mobile app, available on various smartphone and tablet devices. The platform aims to facilitate communication and content sharing among its vast user base, which spans across a diverse, global audience.
