Facebook Marketplace

On 3/16/2022 @ 10:01 am I was sent a notification from Facebook that someone logged into my account from a state I don’t live in. I changed my password. On 3/17/2022 I received a notification that I am being blocked from using Marketplace because a listing I posted went against their Community Standards. I did not post anything for sale since September of 2021. Facebook will not restore my ability to use Marketplace or tell me what it was I supposedly listed for sale. I have asked for a review of this matter but Facebook states that after careful review they are unable to take further action on this matter even though i am not guilty of what they are claiming I did!

Desired outcome: Restore my ability to buy and sell on Marketplace and issue an apology to me!

Facebook Facebook itself

I was commenting to my best friends daughter, who is a really good friend of mine. She was explaining how the world can't handle her. I specifically told her, that she doesn't scare me, I would have Evan Crabtree beat her up. Evan is her older brother, and Justyne, Evan, her mom and dad are relation of mine. Your logarithm accused me of bullying, which is so far from the truth it's ridiculous. I haven't been perfect, but I've intentionally watched my language, only to be ambushed by your program.

Desired outcome: I want the restriction on my account to be rescinded.

Facebook Recent Comments(hourly exceed)

I'm pretty sure I select the correct answer for the recent comments but Facebook says there is something wrong. I want to log in to my account as soon as possible. Now, I need to wait an another hour. I can't access the account on another device. When I try once in site, it works perfectly but when I log in to Facebook app... The laptop that I used for "approve to another device" is not working anymore, they mean to log in again by approving to another device. I tried answering twice the required.. recent comment and I failed. I hope there is another option than "approve to another device" and "recent comments". I'd rather pick sent code to email address or number but it didn't show up. I am restless right now. Helpppp.

hi my name is heather some buddy is pretending to be something there not a celebrity stole that info contact pictures and identity claiming there that person investigation needs to be done believe that who they are they ask me to install telegram better communication they claim there that celebrity asking if i have a credit card showing me a picture of celebrity saying that me i dont knows where they got the picture from and actor or celebrity is not going to ask you if you have a credit card they threat to call the FBI on me i dont think he is who he says he is i am reporting it to Facebook you need to look into it and investigation the address is on my Facebook i have been talking to them i dont think they are who they say they are there claiming to be this celebrity Channing Tatum the actor

Facebook My account bans

I have been banned now for 30 days which is affecting my businesses and my personal life a great deal being isolated in my home as a work-at-home mother. I have recently received a 30-day ban for stating in a closed group that I would "kick my kids' arse" if they acted up in a local business. Before that, I got banned for looking for a birdcage for sale and asking if anyone had a young male Indian Ringneck, but I was not looking to purchase the bird, which is against community standards. Before that, I was banned for selling plant seeds which IS legal, and then before that for the simple statement that "men are pigs." These are out of control algorithms. Nothing I have said affects public safety or the reputation of FB and I should not be banned from using FB appropriately. I honestly do not know what to say on FB anymore as it is obvious that I am flagged and everything I say and do is illegally monitored at this point. I do feel I am being harassed and considering seeking legal advice as I think this is overuse of power, harassment, and unfair treatment which is affecting my mental health, the financial gains of my business, amongst other issues.

Desired outcome: I would like all bans removed and my account to stop being harassed unless I do post something that affects the integrity of FB. I also want a button that allows a human to interact with these cases so my voice is heard correctly.

Facebook restriction

I was given a restriction about a comment I made to someone privately that ended up in a feed. I believe I had done it accidently which I still don't understand.

It was a mistake and I am extremely sorry this happened at all. I've tried to maintain a smart way of responding though sometimes it can be difficult with some of the things people say, but that being said, I realize facebook does have rules.

I was originally given a 2 day restriction but after the 1st day, it shows I still have 48 hours to go. if I am correct, 2 days, or 48 hours is basically the same. so if anything I should only have 1 day left and that I find wrong but it is what it is.

I was hoping to be able to post for my sons birthday today.

I attached a copy of the restriction that showed up yesterday, but now as I had mentioned, it shows 45 hours left.

Thank you in advance.

Desired outcome: I will take the warning but hopefully have my account restored now.

After reading some of these Complaints I see why my account was suspended, Face Book violates my right of free speech. If you are going to punish users be fair and let them know what they did and give them the chance to delete the comment.

Facebook I am complaining about the lack of customer service provided to facebook users by facebook itself

For all of February, every time I logged into my account, via my only laptop or my only cell phone, I kept getting a message that I was logging in from an unknown device/location. I followed the instructions, got codes, changed my password, (too many times to remember how many times), filled out the pick 4 posts you’ve made in the past 3 months, etc. Each time I would get a response that my identity could still not be verified, try later. I could not get in, period. So I tried to open a new Facebook account. Then I got a message that I violated the terms and would be locked out for 30 days, with maybe never getting back in. The irony is I daily get notifications from Facebook, to this email address of all the posts, PMs, etc. that I’ve missed! I also have an instagram account, using this same laptop. Yet I cannot be “identified.” I am an admin of a private community Facebook page that I have been unable to monitor and unable to approve new members. I also use Facebook to keep in touch with relatives around the country, my sister-in-law was buried last Wednesday and I don’t even know if my flowers were received or how the funeral went! I have tried everything possible. I have filled out the think you’ve been hacked form and sent in a picture of my NYS driver’s license, we winter in Florida, and still unable to get into my account. I implore someone to please help. It is just awful that there is no one to directly speak to to assist with these matters.

Desired outcome: A live contact person to fix this.

Facebook Suspension of accounts - stop meta!!

I have had my account FB suspended I had a personal account and a small business page - I had stopped posting on the small business since I closed it. But somehow I have been hacked or something has happened that do not meet community rules. The funny thing is if anyone does a deep dive into my account you will see I rarely post on my page so I have NO idea why I have been blocked. Then my WhatsApp got suspended as it was attached to my FB account. SO now I cannot speak to my family abroad or see what messages I am getting, but I am sure Meta or FB can! Then the other day my son was blocked from his Oculus toy which cost hundreds of dollars plus the games. SO all in ALL people should be wary of Metaverse as they do what they want when they want - I have sent multiple emails and have posted on twitter and not had one reply. I feel terrible for my child that we cannot use his game and I now have to contact my parents through other sources - this has been going on since Jan 25th and now it's March. Why would Meta not have a contact number so this could be resolved - I sent my driving license as ID to them and still have no word.

Desired outcome: Give me my accounts back with my data!

Facebook EastEnders fans

Please can you advise why you ban people from Facebook over a comment made to somebody, in my defense? I was the victim of bullying and harassment on the above site so I stuck up for myself in writing an almost as nasty comment back to this person and I'm the one in trouble and who has had to suffer!

Why do you not look at both sides of a story, instead of just taking one side?

You NEVER give anybody the chance of sharing their side of the story and this is just not good enough!

I have plenty of screen prints of the way people have been bullied and harassed on this group and I would like to send them - there are far too many to attach here.

Furthermore, why do you make it SO HARD for people to contact you?

Desired outcome: This group should be closed down. It was originally started by a 15 year old!!!!!

Facebook ads manager

I am being billed for a service i did not sign up to. I received this message today:

RM318.00

RM300.00

RM18.00

Billing reason

You're being billed because you've reached your RM300.00 payment threshold.

Someone is spamming me with adverts i am being made to pay for. Facebook was no help. There was no guide in how to cancel this account. I deactivated my account and closed ad account a few weeks ago and now i have returned they continue to charge me and i have tried to close my account AGAIN.

Desired outcome: To stop this nonsense, to close my account with ad manager.

Facebook two-factor authentication for facebook

Hello, my name is Deborah and I am having issues with the two-factor authentication on facebook because the two phone numbers that I choose as notification are no longer in service or they are deleted, and I need to add my new cell phone number and another email address so I will not have this issue anymore. I need someone to contact me through my email address. I am not able to get into my facebook account and see any or my messages of new news or new information. Facebook Not able to get a real review

My two accounts have been disabled for "Violating community guidelines."

There is no place to do a written appeal. It is a click button appeal. A day later, they said they still said I was in the wrong, STILL not telling me what.

I applied for the review board but they said I need an 8 digit case number. I was told it is under help/support and click "violations." When I click, it is blank.

I don't want to have to seek legal counsel on this but there is a principle thing, here. I did nothing wrong, and if I did, they won't tell me, so I can correct it.

I gave FB a lot of money and time building my platform and now 60 percent of it is gone.

Desired outcome: I need my account restored or at least tell what I did.

Facebook Mandatory facebook protect service

I'm not a political candidate; our groups aren't active for the last 2/3 years. It's the same people on those groups; I'm not important. I will not reactivate my FB account just because you think I'm important: I'm not, and I don't want your service Facebook Protect. I've got the right to say no. Your algorythmn needs tuning.

I tried to reach Facebook more than once with print screens proving my words and it's illegal you shutting me out of my account over something that it is untrue. I also complaint with european entities.

I want my account back without Facebook Protect: I will activate it only if I want to; you will not get any extra data from me (you don't fool me).

I will not reopen my account unless you disable Facebook Protect from my account and I will keep making complaints against you all over until you stop making up [censored]. I'm sending an example or what I'm saying attached.

Desired outcome: I would like Facebook Protect to be removed as mandatory without real proof from political parties, etc, etc.

Facebook Stained glass birds

I am trying to return an item I found on Facebook. Unfortunately, there is no information when I received the package and have no way of knowing the company. How can I find out the company that sold me this on Facebook?

It was not as advertised and one was broken.

The return address is shipping dept. 5215 South Boyle Ave Building 2 Vernon CA 90058 and whoever sold it went by daunsoclucpp1

Facebook Bad feedback

I just had someone block me from FB. I am not sure what I did or why he did it instead of talking to me. If FB thinks this is a good use of your platform, you need to think it over again. It was mean spiteful behavior that I am not going to forget. I use FB to give attention to animals, who are lost, abused or need help. It is my birthday month and I know cannot raise money on my birthday. I do not know why it was done instead of talking to me. But I do think allowing people to use FB to punish people is a real abuse of your platform.

Desired outcome: I would like the block removed. I used to work for Joe Maggio. He has my phone number and my email so he could have called me and aired his issues. I do not think FB should get in the middle of hurt feelings,

Facebook I was scammed and hacked and now my account has been hijacked

To whom it may concern,

I have been trying for weeks to tell my story and get help. However, I get no response back. Infact they are treating me like I am the bad one. I am J. I was hacked and scammed on Dec. 27, 2021. I had a friend she worked for It works I had ordered stuff from her before. She had a post-up that was asking what number is showing. If you guess this number my company will give you 2300. I had been friends with her for a couple years on Facebook, so I guessed and so did others. Then she messaged me on fb through messenger and kept messaging me saying this is legit and a true blessing. I asked her lots of questions. Is this legit? How can anyone give money away? She said I work for a great company. They just like blessing others. Then there is a processing fee. It is $50.00. I left it alone for a couple days. They kept bothering and telling me that this is a blessing. I asked more questions and believed it was Jennifer I was talking to. She was very convincing. They even tried to facetime me a few times. The first few times I ignored it. Then when I answered they were not there. I chalked it up to being a bad service area where I live is not the best. Then she sent an actual video message with her talking to me in person at a desk on what to do next. They first asked for my e-mail and I gave it to them. Then asked for my money card and said they couldn't use that. Like I said I had bought stuff from her in the past for itworks. So, I did not think about it. They said we need a copy of your driver's license front and back. I again asked lots of questions but did it. Then they said that they needed a google play card in 50.00 I said no you are just hackers. They said no we are a legit company. I asked what company said SPA. We are here to give you a blessing. I needed a blessing because my husband has been sick. I was hoping this would be the way to get the help he needs financially. I argued about the google card but did it. (I still have the card and a copy of the receipt that I also reported to Google). They also asked me to take a pic with my card in my hand, a pic of myself, and a pic with just my card. My stomach knew this was wrong, yet I just prayed it was going to be true. Then they asked me to give them the code for my Facebook account. I said we are not supposed to give out passwords and they said our company has to have this in order to make this transaction. Again, I argued and then again, she made it sound safe, and it was a blessing. Then I received another video message from her. I do have some snapshots of some of these things in my gallery if you need them. Then another video message telling me to let people know that this is legit, and I needed to make one so people would know this is legit. So, I did it and now they are using that to try and scam others. Then sent another video message of her telling me that one more video needs to be done. One that says that This is a great company and you get your money in 5 to 6 mins. The entire time doing it I felt sick. I was in the bathroom doing this so my husband would not know. I walked out and told him I think I just did something really bad. Then minutes later my phone flashed. I also realized that it was not Jennifer that she had been hacked and they had taken over her identity. I looked at my Facebook and I was locked out of it everything had been changed my email, phone number, password. I noticed right away that they had changed my background picture to my son and me. My profile picture was changed to my daughter and granddaughter. I immediately started crying and we called the bank and let them know I had been hacked and scammed. I called all my credit cards. I did not realize at that moment how bad things really were. I knew I was locked out of my Facebook. Then all my emails even our business email and every single account that I had on my google account on my phone. I had to call the credit bureaus and put a freeze on them, all my bill accounts had to be called because they changed all my passwords. I filed a report with local law enforcement and the FTC. I also have a fraud report number if you need that from the FTC. I was instructed to go and get an alert on my DL for the state of Florida. I also have paperwork from the DMV showing that I have an alert for my license. I have had to get fraud protection through my bank and Lifelock on all of my computers and phone. Endless hours of calling all my utility bills, changing passwords and emails and special passcodes on my accounts not once but several times. We have a business and they hacked and took over that email as well. I ended up getting my google account back from the hackers but that was difficult literally changed the password 3 times before I could get it deleted. They would change the passwords as soon as I would try to do anything, so I deleted it and factory reset my phone. I lost all my contacts in the process of over a 100 people. I was able to get my Gmail accounts back and secured except the one that was part of me google account that I had deleted. The email I had for my Facebook account was not as easy to get back into and Facebook has not made it easy, and I cannot get any help. I was not able to get them out of it until Jan 11th, 2022. Once I did get in there with all kinds of Japanese scrolling running down the side of it. I changed my passwords and updated my information and logged everyone out of it. I have had this account for years. It is the one I used for everything. I am planning on deleting it because I just am not comfortable with keeping it. So, the emails that were sent from Facebook that day on the 27th telling me that someone changed my password and my email I was unable to get until Jan 11 and by that time it was expired. I tried many times to get back to my Facebook account. Everything had been changed. MY number, my email, my passwords are all gone and linked to other people. I also made a new Facebook so I could warn my friends what had happened that I had been hacked.

I have been trying to get help from someone. I am truly sorry that I may even be driving people crazy. This person has taken over my entire identity, they know everything about me, where I live, where I went to school, my children, my grandchildren, my husband's identity, where I work. They are pretending to be me. This really needs to get this taken care of because it is scary in so many ways. I only had 300 and some friends on Facebook and now they have on my account close to 1400 people that they are trying to scam and hack with my face and my videos. These people get hacked and have to go through everything that I have had to endure would be awful. Plus, they get a hold of a crazy person then who knows what would or could happen to me or someone else. This I am terrified of. The way things are these days someone could harm or kill another person. I am afraid for my life. Yes, I agree I did a dumb thing falling for this scheme I don't want anyone else to go through all of this. No one deserves this from anyone. I have been trying to protect my friends when I see posts that are put on my old Facebook. I also have been trying to warn people on my new account, to please report these monsters so this does not happen to anyone else. My new account does not have much information on it because I am nervous about putting all my stuff out there. My picture is the one that I had on before the hacker changed it and my husband on his Facebook has a similar pic on his profile pic. I am afraid to link my pictures up to my new Facebook. I just don't feel safe yet. I never realized or even gave it a thought that I could be hacked or scammed yet here I am. It has been a nightmare. I am physically and mentally drained from it. Please can someone help me take this account down before others get hurt. I have had this account for years. These people have taken over my life and are making it hell. You guys are letting them get away with it. I keep trying to get help. Yet you keep putting me in Facebook jail. Your computers can't tell the difference between the good guy and the bad. I bet close to 50 friends have reported it. I am trying to protect others. These people now know my entire life and have all my information pretending to be me. Seriously, I have no reason to lie, and I have real proof it is me. They have pictures of me with my id, I have the actual real card. They have photos, all my photos and information they need to be locked up and the key thrown away for the things they have done to people first Jennifer now me who knows the countless others that are going through hell that no one believes.

The things being done to my Facebook friends. There are many that know the truth and are reporting what has happened to me. I am trying to get the word out to protect as many as I can. I need help getting this profile taken down. They are not only putting up posts to hack and scam others. They are messaging people pretending to be me trying to hack and scam them through messenger. How can this be ok with your community standards? I have had them almost get a few of my friends showing them the videos. One friend even said that they said where I went to school. This sickens me. They even messaged a lady from my bank. Thankfully she called me at work to let me know I told her to report it because she knows everything that I have been going through. I have had to go in there several times to secure our bank accounts. My one friend that reported them impersonating me and sent the video said that you replied to her that there is nothing wrong with the J. account and it will not be removed. I hope you reconsider this after this message. I promise you my hacker on my account pretending to be me could or would not be able to give you all the information I have written to you. Like I said I have proof of these things that I have listed. So, I ask you to please believe me, I am the real J. who was scammed and hacked on DEC 27th. My identity was taken, and my life forever changed and has been a nightmare ever since. Facebook has been the only people that I can't get help from.

No one is helping me; they are actually acting like I am in the wrong. I have had my entire identity stolen. All of my information, emails, banking info, changed passwords on everything, they had my one email in their possession for weeks before I got it back. They know everything about me. They have made a mess. I have a good bunch of Facebook friends, family who know the truth. I was hacked and scammed. Please help me get this account down. I have all kinds of pictures and proof that I am the real J.

Resolved

This Facebook profile was finally taken down after 6 months. It was very frustrating, and I had very little help from the Facebook team. Every time I tried to get someone, they would direct me somewhere else or never get back with me. I wish that they would make it easier to get help when things like this happen to people. However, I am not sure how or why, but they finally removed it. Thank the Lord!!

I was hacked and sent an email from FB at 3:00 AM in the morning by 9:00 Am they shut down my account for 30 days I could not resolve it as FB no longer takes calls and all their help methods did not work.

I had business accounts on my FB as well and now they are selling stuff on my business accounts and nothing I can do about it.

I am now seeking legal counsel and contacting the police.

I am heartbroken that messages and post from my deceased family members can no longer be seen by me.

As well as the effects on my business pages.

So many people being scammed on the FB market page and FB DO NOTHING. But you put info up about covid and they take it down even though the info is on the FDA and CDC website, ZUckerberg is a mockery way to much power for this dude
