Terrible Quality and Customer Service: My Experience with FactoryOutletStore.com
I recently made a purchase from FactoryOutletStore.com for a pair of PetSafe inground fence dog collars. The collars were priced at $70 each, and I opted for an extended warranty for two years, bringing the total cost of my purchase to $182. When the collars arrived, I noticed that the battery was in the off position, which is a common occurrence with other vendors I have purchased from in the past. The battery is a lithium battery in a black plastic housing that screws into the collar, and there is a tool included to activate the collar.
I was able to activate the first collar without any issues, but when I moved on to the second collar, I encountered a problem. As I turned the battery to the on position, the entire top of the battery casing broke off, leaving the battery exposed and preventing me from turning the collar on. I contacted customer service to explain the situation and request a replacement, but the woman I spoke with was unhelpful and accused me of damaging the collar myself. Despite the fact that I had purchased an extended warranty and the collar was clearly defective, she refused to offer a refund or replacement.
My daughter was able to remove the damaged battery and replace it with a new one that I had purchased, but we noticed that the collars from FactoryOutletStore.com were weaker and more defective than another collar we had tested them against. I was extremely disappointed with the poor quality of the collars and the terrible customer service I received. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but was told that one was unavailable.
In the end, I complained to Google services, PayPal, PetSafe, and other organizations, and I did receive a call from a supervisor the following day. Although the collar was working, I did not want to keep it after my negative experience with the company. I am returning the collars next week and hoping to receive a refund, but I am not optimistic about the process.
Overall, I would strongly advise against ordering from FactoryOutletStore.com. The company is clearly a shoddy operation, with little to no communication between employees and a policy of selling defective items and refusing to offer refunds or replacements. The fact that the customer service is based in India and there are two different New York addresses associated with the company only adds to the confusion and frustration. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.
Terrible Experience with FactoryOutletStore.com: Fraudulent Charges and Poor Customer Service
We had a really bad experience with FactoryOutletStore.com. We ordered a watch for our grandson on a Saturday and the money was taken from our account right away. However, by the following Monday, we still hadn't received an email confirmation. When we called, we spoke with "Victoria" who was no help at all and referred us to ***141, which she said was closed for the night. But when we called and spoke with "Tia", we were told that there was a problem with the order because our billing address and phone number came up as someone else's. We explained that we were renting our residence and that the address we were shipping to was a professional jeweler. Tia then told us that we could upgrade to 2-day shipping, but we would have to give her our card information again. We told her that we had already paid for this and the funds had come out of our account on Saturday, but she wouldn't stop arguing that it was only a "pending charge" and wanted $30 more for 2-day shipping. So we gave her our credit card information and she tried to run the full $879 again, but was surprised it didn't clear. She was literally trying to take the entire amount again, even though they had already taken it from our account on Saturday. She finally agreed to take just the $30 extra for upgraded, 2-day shipping.
On Tuesday, we called again because we still hadn't received an email and we wanted to know where our watch was. When we called the customer service number, we spoke to someone who was very rude and unhelpful. He told us that the watch was in their warehouse and that he would send us an email with the tracking number. But instead, he sent us an email that said the watch had been sent to their warehouse and that they would contact us within 24-48 hours with the shipping information. We called again and spoke to "Naomi" who at first told us that we would get our shipping information within 24-48 hours. We explained that we had been told the same thing by "Tia" the day before and had paid an extra charge for 2-day shipping. "Naomi" then changed her story and told us that the watch would be shipped the next day via Federal Express, 2-day delivery.
It doesn't matter which number you call, the 800# or the ***141, you end up speaking to someone whose second language is English and they are all using fake names. This was a horrible experience and we would not recommend this company to anyone. We may have to cancel our order and file a complaint against them for fraud.
FactoryOutletStore.com: Deceptive Shipping Times and Poor Customer Service
So, I was really excited to order some radio equipment from FactoryOutletStore.com because they advertised fast shipping. They said I would receive my item in 2-5 days, which sounded great to me. However, after waiting for 2 days, I still hadn't received any tracking information, so I decided to email them. Unfortunately, I never heard anything back from them.
Feeling frustrated, I decided to call their customer service line. However, I was greeted with an automated message saying that they were experiencing too many phone calls. I left my number for them to call me back, and was happy to see them calling me back. However, when I answered, there wasn't anyone there. I called again and left my number again, but still didn't receive any response.
I decided to try emailing them again, but still didn't receive any response. It wasn't until the next day at 4:30 A.M. that they finally emailed me a generic excuse for why my item hadn't shipped yet. I sent them 3 emails and called them twice, leaving my number each time. I only received one email and one phone call back, but there was no one there.
Feeling frustrated and angry, I decided to use the chat feature on their website. I argued with their customer service person for a bit, and they told me that it would take 2-5 days for them to process and dispatch my order, and then another 2-5 days for shipping. They even added "if not sooner" to their response, which I found to be a bit of a cop-out.
I was so angry at this point that I asked the person if their website should say up to 10 days for shipping instead of 2-5 days. I even asked if I could cancel my order and get a refund. The person asked me to hold, but then strung me along with "please hold" and "sorry for the delay" for about 15 minutes.
Finally, the person told me that my order had been dispatched and they were checking on it. I decided to give them a break and wait for a response. However, I never received a phone call or an email. I opened up the chat again and got back in touch with them. They told me that my order had been dispatched, but I still hadn't received any confirmation of it shipping yet.
It's been 4 days now, and I still haven't received my order. My friend ordered almost the exact same radio from a different company and received it today, even though he ordered it a day after I did. I'm really disappointed with FactoryOutletStore.com and their customer service. I feel like I was deceived from the beginning, and I won't be buying from them again.
FactoryOutletStore.com Review: Misrepresentation and Poor Customer Service
This company, FactoryOutletStore.com, is a complete rip off. I recently purchased a Minn Kota Terrova Trolling motor with Bluetooth and I-pilot for $1199.99. I specifically asked the sales rep if the motor had a built-in transducer and was told yes. However, when I received the motor and installed it on my boat, I realized that there was no sonar transducer cable in the head. I had to order the adapter from eBay for half the price of what FactoryOutletStore was charging.
When the adapter arrived, I tried to install it but was surprised to find out that there was no sonar transducer cable in the head. I called the company and asked for a $100 refund due to misrepresentation. However, I was informed that the only unit they had with a built-in transducer was in a package that cost $310 more. They refused to give me a refund and only offered a 2-year extended warranty, which was valued at $149 according to their website. I did not want an extended warranty, but I noticed that they offered a 4-year warranty for $199. I agreed to this offer, but they refused to allow me to buy a cable and do an external transducer for the bow mount trolling motor.
I decided to file a dispute with my credit card company. The unit I received was $310 inferior to what was promised. It would cost me $60 to ship it back to them since the box is huge and heavy. They claim that all their order calls are recorded, so they have a record of me asking specifically whether the sonar transducer is built-in at the factory. This is a major difference in the features of the unit I received.
I asked to speak to a supervisor three times, and I was told that they would call me back shortly. However, two of the three supervisor callbacks never happened, and the third waited until the next day to tell me that I should send it back. I may send it back, but they will have to pay all the freight and refund me 100% guaranteed in full for a now used, modified installed unit.
The customer care at this company is terrible. How do they get away with treating their customers like this? It's not right. Also, when you call them, you will probably get someone with an Indian accent. I did everything right and asked all the questions I should have, but I still got screwed over. If you think the prices are good, think again because you may end up being screwed over too.
Fraudulent Product: My Disappointing Experience with FactoryOutletStore.com
I am extremely disappointed with FactoryOutletStore.com. I purchased what I was told was an authentic US Samsung Note 3, but when I received it, I found out that it was not only not authentic, but it was also not from the US. I called the company twice to verify that it was indeed an authentic US Samsung Note 3, and both times, the operators assured me that it was and that it was recorded.
I paid $32 for next day air shipping, and when I received the phone, I didn't open it but verified the IMEI number with Samsung. I found out that it was a fraudulent defective product, and I have sent photos to Samsung and have a letter as evidence that it is neither authentic nor from the US.
I followed the company's Cell Phone Return Policy perfectly, and I have legal documentation to prove it. However, nowhere in the policy did it state that I would be charged for a defective product or for shipping costs or restocking fees. I have legal documentation to prove that I returned the phone within 30 days in the original sealed, unopened manufacturer's packaging, and I expect nothing less than my payment in full of $579.95 as it states on the company's own site, under CELL PHONE RETURN POLICY.
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this company, and I will take legal action if necessary. I expect to be refunded for the defective product, my shipping costs, my loss of time, and my attorney's fees. I will also file charges for fraud and false advertisement with Samsung.
Poor Communication and Customer Service from FactoryOutletStore.com
I recently made a purchase on FactoryOutletStore.com for a dual pack electric toothbrush. However, I was disappointed to find out that one of the items was on backorder, and I was not informed of this at the time of purchase. I was confused because I thought both toothbrushes would come in one box, so how could one be missing?
I received an email a day after my credit card was processed, but it did not include any tracking information. After a week had passed, I still had not received any updates, so I decided to call customer service. The representative told me that they were expecting the item to be back in stock within the next few days. However, when I called back a week later, I was told that they did not know when it would be shipped.
I was frustrated with the lack of communication and the fact that I had already paid for the item. The representative offered to send me both toothbrushes in blue, but I would have to pay an extra $10. I refused to pay more since it was not my fault that the item was on backorder. I decided to wait until the item was back in stock.
When I called back again, I spoke to a different representative who also did not know when the item would be shipped. I suggested that they send me both toothbrushes in blue, and they agreed. However, they still wanted me to pay an extra $10, which I found unreasonable since it had been a month since I originally placed the order. I asked for a credit of $10, but the representative said they could not do that.
I was disappointed with the customer service I received from FactoryOutletStore.com. I asked to speak to a manager, but they were not available at the time. I was told that someone would call me back within the next 24 to 48 hours, but I have yet to receive a call.
Overall, I would not recommend FactoryOutletStore.com due to their poor communication and customer service. It was frustrating to wait for an item that was on backorder, and I felt like I was not being heard or valued as a customer.
FactoryOutletStore.com Review: Poor Shipping & Customer Service
This website is a complete disaster! I was initially hesitant to order from FactoryOutletStore.com due to the low rating, but I decided to give them a chance. Boy, was that a mistake! The rating selection does not have a wide enough span of selection – this outfit needs to offer selections in the minus range.
I placed an order on 10/1/15 with order number FOS5616695E. I was informed that batteries and accessories that were purchased separately may be shipped out via United States Postal Service First Class. However, it has been 20 days since it was shipped and my order has not arrived at either my PO Box or physical address. I reached out to customer service on 10/22/15 to inquire about the whereabouts of my order.
After a few back and forth emails, I was informed that my battery was "in the mail" for the second time. It has been 6 weeks since I ordered the camera battery and this is also the second follow-up. The battery now far exceeds the $29 dollars it initially cost. This is not good for reviews. Are they going to track this thing down or do I have to do that for them too?
I was also told that the battery could not be shipped to a PO Box because it was a battery. If this was the case, they should have informed me before I placed the order. I requested that they ship it to my PO Box, but it seems like they couldn't handle that either.
On 11/22/15, I received an email stating that they have processed a credit for my order as per their policy. They requested that I place a new order. However, I was extremely frustrated with the entire process and decided not to order from them again.
To make matters worse, when I tried to follow up on my order, they couldn't even locate my account. It's unbelievable how incompetent this company is. It makes me wonder if they recruit personnel from McDonald's.
I hope the board members of FactoryOutletStore.com read this review and take some action to improve their service. It's a shame that they lost a customer due to their poor shipping and customer service.
Factory Outlet Store's Failure to Deliver Promised Mattress
I made an order for a Melnick Beautyrest Recharge Mattress on July 2nd, 2015, from Factory Outlet Store. They assured me that I would receive a brand new mattress directly from the factory. I was also informed that the mattress was made to order and that it would take about two weeks for me to receive it because of the holiday weekend. However, on July 21st, I called to inquire about my delivery, and they told me that they had called the number I had given them, but it was disconnected, which caused the delay in delivery. They never contacted my personal phone number or email to try and make the delivery. It seems they had only tried the first number and left it at that. The delivery was finally made on July 24th.
After the person I purchased the mattress for inspected it, they informed me that it was not a brand new mattress right from the factory. The mattress was defected and was actually a Shakespears Collection made by Simmons Company, specifically for a mattress retail store, not the Factory Outlet Store. According to the receipt sent to me by the Outlet Store, my order shipped on July 8th, yet the mattress that was delivered has a tag of being made on July 11th, which is three days after the shipment on my order was made.
The only reason the wrong delivery was accepted was that the homeowner, who is not myself, trusted that she was receiving what I had ordered, being that the invoice that was given to her had the correct information.
I immediately called the Outlet Store to report the problem, and I was assured someone would call me right back. On the 27th, I called again and spoke to another person that told me the same thing. After several more phone calls, I finally received a call from the initial salesperson I spoke with when I placed my order. He requested I sent him pictures of the mattress I received, which I sent on an email. I was then called and told that there has definitely been a mistake, and the mattress delivered was not what I had purchased. A supervisor would call me back by the end of that day. After three days of not hearing from anyone, I called again and spoke to the salesperson, who apologized, telling me that the person in charge would call me back ASAP. The next day, he sent me an email of apology and acknowledged that a mistake had been made. He assured me that my complaint would be handled in a strict and serious way. They take full responsibility for the error and guarantee that such incidents will not occur in the future. He proceeds to say that they are looking at their schedule to arrange a prompt and proper exchange of the merchandise in question. That was on August 6th. How many days are needed to arrange a proper exchange?
In total, I have spoken to eight different people who have told me that Mr.--- ------) who is the person in charge, will call me back. I have yet to receive that phone call. I find myself just repeating my predicament over and over to a different person each time, without any solutions being made. It has now been 19 days since my initial call, several emails have been sent, phone calls have been made, even those I have spoken to have agreed with me that a mistake has been made with my order, but nothing has been resolved.

Apple watch
I recently returned an Apple Watch 6 that I had purchased as new. Sadly, the watch was absent of functionality upon opening the box. After contacting customer service, they issued me a return label, which I promptly used to send the watch back. However, I was unpleasantly surprised to receive only a partial refund of $200, despite my expectation of a full refund. As a consumer, I believe that this decision was worth reconsidering, especially since I had requested an exchange, which was unfortunately denied. I've made up my mind not to buy from factoryoutletstores as they are not trustworthy.
Desired outcome: Full refund
Terrible Customer Service and Incompetence at FactoryOutletStore.com
I recently made a purchase from FactoryOutletStore.com over the phone on Thursday, January 7th, 2016. The representative who took my order was very helpful and confirmed that I would receive my order within 2-4 business days. I requested an email confirmation, but unfortunately, I did not receive one. On Monday, January 11th, 2016, I decided to call and check on the status of my order. To my surprise, I was informed that the product was out of stock and that I would have to wait for at least three weeks before receiving it. I was disappointed, but I decided to wait for the product to arrive.
During my call, I spoke with a supervisor who was very rude and unhelpful. He did not seem to care about my inconvenience and suggested that I cancel my order if I could not wait for the product to arrive. Despite his attitude, I decided to wait for the product to arrive as I needed it urgently.
On Thursday, January 14th, 2016, I called FactoryOutletStore.com again, this time as a new customer, to inquire about the same phone I had ordered. To my surprise, I was informed that the phone was in stock. I was confused and asked why I had been told that the product was out of stock. The representative informed me that my order had been placed incorrectly as I had requested a gold phone, but they only had black phones in stock. He apologized for the mistake and assured me that my order would be processed correctly.
On Monday, January 18th, 2016, I called again to check on the status of my order. This time, I was informed that my order had been sent to the warehouse and that I would receive an email with my tracking information soon. However, I did not receive any email. On Tuesday, January 19th, 2016, I spoke with a supervisor named Tracy, who assured me that someone would call me from their office soon to update me on my order. Unfortunately, I did not receive any call or email.
I am still waiting for my order, and I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from FactoryOutletStore.com. I would not recommend this site to anyone. They do not value their customers, and their customer service is terrible. I am so frustrated that I am considering canceling my order with them. They are complete non-professionals, and they suck.
FactoryOutletStore Review: Poor Customer Service and Policies, Nonexistent Technical Support
I recently purchased a laptop from FactoryOutletStore and unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. As a computer shop owner, I was buying the laptop for a customer who wanted an upgrade to a solid-state drive. The process of installing the new drive was simple enough, but when I removed the bottom case cover, I noticed that the plastic part of the case where the right-side display hinge attaches was broken and both screws were missing. This damage could not have been caused by simply removing the cover, and it was clear that someone else had tampered with the laptop before it was sent to me.
I immediately contacted FactoryOutletStore to report the issue, but their response was disappointing. They claimed that they could not accept the laptop back because it had been tampered with, even though the only modification I had made was to upgrade the hard drive. I found this policy to be ridiculous, especially since HP provides instructions on how to replace a hard drive on their laptops. Additionally, there was no mention of this policy on the FactoryOutletStore website, which made the situation even more frustrating.
When I tried to speak with someone who had technical experience, I was only able to talk to Level 1 support out of India. It was clear that they were not knowledgeable about the issue and were simply reading from a script to reject any returns from customers. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and technical support from FactoryOutletStore.
Fortunately, I had made the purchase through PayPal, and they were able to help me resolve the issue quickly. I returned the laptop and received a refund within a week. However, I would not recommend doing business with FactoryOutletStore. Their policies are unclear, their customer service is poor, and their technical support is nonexistent. In my opinion, this company is very close to being a scam site.

Disappointing Experience with FactoryOutletStore.com: Wrong Items, Pushy Sales, and Hidden Fees
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with FactoryOutletStore.com. I mean, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and only give them one star, but honestly, I don't even think they deserve that.
Let me tell you what happened. I ordered some balls (don't ask me what kind, I don't even remember) and when they arrived, they were the wrong size. I specifically asked the person on the phone to make sure they were the right size, but I guess they didn't listen. So I called customer service to try and return them, and the guy I talked to was trying to sell me something else instead of just helping me return the wrong items. And then, get this, they wanted me to pay for the shipping to return the items! Like, excuse me, but I didn't order the wrong thing, you did.
Anyway, I finally got them to agree to refund me for the items and the shipping, but when I got the refund, they took out some random fee that I don't even understand. I mean, I get that they have a restocking fee, but this was something else entirely. And it was way more than the restocking fee and the shipping combined!
Honestly, I don't think I'll ever order from FactoryOutletStore.com again. They clearly don't know how to coordinate the right items with their customers, and their customer service is just terrible. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Terrible Experience with FactoryOutletStore.com: False Information and Refusal to Cancel Order
FactoryOutletStore.com in Brooklyn, NY 11232, I had a terrible experience with my recent order. I was given false information by one of your sales agents, Andy extension 250, about the Samsung GT i9500 phone I wanted to purchase. He told me that the numbers after the name were color codes, but they were actually European model numbers. He also assured me that Samsung would warranty the phone for the first year, which turned out to be untrue. When I called Samsung to verify this information, they told me that they do not support or warranty European models being sold in America because they are different on the inside and cannot provide GT LTE service.
I immediately called FactoryOutletStore.com on the same day of the sale and cancelled the order due to misrepresentation. I sent emails to the order department, processing, shipping, and customer service info telling them not to charge my card. However, they refused to cancel the order and charged my account on 4/2/14. Customer service told me to send it back when I received it, and they would waive the restocking fees, but I had to pay to return it to them. Instead, I refused delivery.
UPS confirmed that FactoryOutletStore.com received the phone back on 4/9/14, and it was signed for by Posada. However, it has been 8 days since then, and I have not received my money back, nor have they contacted me. They used my $494.94 for 15 days when I specifically told them not to ship the phone and not to charge my card, which they did anyway. I also advised my bank not to accept their charges, but they did.
FactoryOutletStore.com must return the full amount they charged my card since I cancelled the order in plenty of time for it not to be shipped or charged, as bank and UPS records verify. I am extremely disappointed with their customer service and hope they will rectify this situation promptly. Please advise me when they will be putting through a full credit to my account.
Poor Customer Service and Difficulty Cancelling Order: My Experience with VTech Factory Outlet Store
I recently had an experience with VTech Factory Outlet Store, and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. My grandfather needed a new set of phones, so we decided to order from this website. However, things did not go as smoothly as we had hoped.
After placing our order, we received an email asking us to call them back because they had additional questions about our order. When we called, we spoke with a man named Joel. He informed us that the billing address and shipping address on the order did not match. The shipping address was a PO Box, and they refused to ship to a PO Box. They demanded that it be shipped to the billing address, which was an apartment that did not have the capacity to receive large packages. We gave them another address, but they requested the name, phone number, and how this person was related to us. Throughout our conversation, Joel put me on hold multiple times so he could relay the information to the "concerns department." I asked to speak to the concerns department, but Joel refused to transfer my call and told me that they would just ask for the same information.
I felt very uncomfortable with the amount of personal information they were asking for, so I asked to speak to a supervisor. Joel refused to transfer me to a supervisor, so we decided to cancel our order. Joel put me on hold again, and when he came back, he said that our order had been cancelled. I confirmed that it would be a full refund, but he was unable to give me a confirmation number. He said we should receive it via email within 24 hours, but we never received it. The charge of $194.17 was posted to our account, and we had to call the customer service line to speak to a supervisor. We had to be very firm with the customer service person to be transferred, but once we were on the phone with the supervisor, the call disconnected. We have yet to get a hold of anybody regarding the order, and we are now working with the bank to dispute the transaction.
In conclusion, I would not recommend ordering from this website. The customer service was poor, and we had a difficult time canceling our order and receiving a refund. It was a frustrating experience, and we will not be ordering from this website again.
Mixed Feelings About Celestron Factory Outlet Store: Honesty and Warranty Issues
I recently made a purchase from Celestron Factory Outlet Store and I must say, I have mixed feelings about my experience. I ordered two items, the Celestron AstroMaster LT 70 AZ Telescope and a Meade Instruments Infinity 50 Telescope from Meade Factory Store Outlet. The Meade tripod that came with the telescope was not up to par and I needed a replacement. Thankfully, Meade Instruments replaced the tripod for me.
However, my experience with the Celestron UpClose G2 10 X 50 Binoculars was not as pleasant. When I received the binoculars, one of the objective lenses was broken off. The package was delivered by FedEx and I noticed that all the other astronomy items I ordered had a "Handle with care fragile" label on them. But the binoculars did not have any such label. I had also purchased a 2-year factory protection plan and a 1-year Celestron protection plan from the manufacturer.
I contacted Celestron Factory Outlet Store to request a replacement, but they refused to send me a new pair of binoculars. They offered me a full refund instead. I was disappointed with their response, as other telescope companies I have dealt with in the past have always replaced broken items for me. I even sent them a photo of the defective binoculars, but they still refused to send me a replacement.
On the other hand, I had a better experience with other companies I ordered from. I ordered a Celestron Heavy Duty Alt Azimuth Tripod from Agena AstroProducts, and something was broken on the tripod. I sent it back to Celestron and they promised to send me a replacement tripod. I also ordered a pair of Celestron binoculars from Scientifics Direct, and when something happened to them, I received a replacement pair from them. I also ordered a telescope from Orion Telescopes & Binoculars, and they sent me a replacement telescope when I needed it.
Overall, I think Celestron Factory Outlet Store is a good company, but they should honor their warranty and replace defective items for their customers. If they don't, they shouldn't offer a warranty in the first place. I feel that they are not very honest in their dealings with customers.
Terrible Customer Service and Unethical Practices at Factory Outlet Store - A Warning to All Shoppers
I had a terrible experience with http://www.factoryoutletstore.com/ and I would not recommend them to anyone. I wasted extra money on non-refundable fees, waited for over three months, and had to deal with over seven hours of aggressive correspondence with their horrible employees. I never received the product I ordered and did not receive any apologies from the company.
The website advertised a product that was not what I received, and the company refused to exchange or refund my money. It took three months of fighting for justice to receive a partial refund, but I never received any apologies for the terrible customer service. The employees were unprofessional and rude, and I would not recommend this company to anyone.
The customer service at http://www.factoryoutletstore.com/ was unethical and aggressive. Once I paid my money, the employees were no longer polite or professional. They did not work to expedite my order, and I had to pay all shipping and restocking fees for their misleading pictures on their website. The employees had short tempers and aggressive ethics towards their clients.
This company should be banned from practicing on the U.S. market. Most of the employees I spoke with did not communicate in a language that a normal person could understand, and yet their warehouse is located in NY. This is a 3rd world barbarian company that pretends to be something else. Do not trust them!
Their website, comments, and products are not trustworthy. It is nothing like the trustworthy online market that most of us are used to. I had to deal with employees named Asher, Ed, Ruben, and Tracy (manager) while fighting my way through their online and phone systems. If you are interested, please write your inquiries for the order number.
I am about to file a small claim against this company for the service provided with no complete money refund for the product I paid for and waited for almost three months. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Terrible Customer Service and Incompetence: My Experience with FactoryOutletStore.com
FactoryOutletStore.com is a store that I would not recommend to anyone. I recently ordered a Panasonic computer for $3100 and it was a complete nightmare. I never received any updates on my order, no emails or phone calls. I had to call them several times to get any information about my order. Finally, after several calls, I was able to speak to someone who called my bank with me on the phone to confirm the payment. It took over a week to get them to do this. They were so late that they shipped the product to me with two-day air and charged me extra for it. When I returned the product, they received it on 10/1 but I still haven't received my refund as of 10/10. Their website says that all returns will be refunded within 2-3 days, but that is a complete lie. I had to constantly stay on top of them to get any information about my refund.
Their customer service is terrible. They don't know what they are doing and they are very unprofessional. One of their service members even asked me if my bank visa card was a gift card. They created a ticket for my refund and kept telling me that it would take 24-48 hours to work the ticket. They always use the excuse that it will take 24-48 hours for anything to happen. They even lied to me about waiving the return fees.
The Panasonic computer itself is a great product, but FactoryOutletStore.com does not do it any justice. They are incompetent and they need to be put out of business. They put phony dates on my return and it took them 9 days to process it after several phone calls from me. It is mind-boggling how incompetent they are. I highly suggest that you take your business elsewhere and never order anything from them again.
Unsatisfactory Experience with FactoryOutletStore.com: Confusing Product, Poor Customer Service, and Unfair Return Policy
I recently had a less than satisfactory experience with FactoryOutletStore.com (FOS.com). I ordered an electric shaver from them and was disappointed to never receive a bill or an estimated time of arrival for my purchase. When the product finally arrived, I was surprised to find that everything except the front of the box was in Chinese. I called their customer service department and spoke with Ronnie, who was difficult to understand and did not seem to be American. Ronnie informed me that the product was an "International Unit," which I found confusing. He assured me that the manufacturer would provide a two-year warranty and provided me with their 800 number.
When I called the manufacturer, Kayla informed me that there was no such thing as an International Unit and that the product was solely manufactured in Walberg, Germany. Ronnie had also told me that FOS.com did not have "claim number cases," but he would make notes and attach them to my P.O. When I called FOS.com again with all the information from the manufacturer, I spoke with a second customer service representative whose name I could not understand. He did not mention my previous complaint from 1.5 hours earlier when he opened my P.O. I asked him about my bill of sale, and he informed me that their company was having email troubles with both Google and AOL, so he would just send me a copy through Outlook.
I called FOS.com at 8:55 a.m. EST on January 19, 2018, and the email from the second customer service representative arrived at 9:40 a.m. EST on the same day while I was still on the phone with him. Interestingly, every communication I received from FOS.com was sent via the exact IPS, despite their claim of email troubles with Google and AOL.
I want to warn others about FOS.com's return policy, which includes a 15% processing fee and the actual cost of shipping deducted from any credits or refunds. I have already requested a dispute claim document from my credit card holder and informed FOS.com that I will not pay the restocking fee or have shipping deducted. I am currently waiting for their response.
Poor Communication and Service: My Experience with FactoryOutletStore.com
I recently purchased a refurbished Plantronics 5200 from FactoryOutletStore.com. However, I had a difficult time with the ordering process as the product was not named correctly, which resulted in several phone calls just to clarify. Despite this, I decided to proceed with the order. Unfortunately, I was not informed that orders placed on weekends are not processed until Monday. Although they promised delivery within three to five days, it took seven days to arrive, excluding the weekends.
When the product finally arrived, I was disappointed to find that it would not hold a charge. I contacted the customer service team, who advised me to try some basic troubleshooting steps. However, none of these worked, and I knew they wouldn't. After several attempts, they finally agreed to send me a replacement. Thankfully, the replacement worked perfectly fine. However, the earpieces that came with it disintegrated in my hand while trying to put them on. I contacted the customer service team again, but they were unhelpful and refused to send me new earpieces without returning the broken units.
This was not my first experience with FactoryOutletStore.com. Last year, I ordered some camera batteries from them, and they convinced me that they had them in stock. However, the batteries did not arrive within three to five days, nor did they arrive within three to five months. It took six months for them to finally show up. Although the batteries have worked well so far, I was disappointed with the lack of communication from the company. They should have informed me when they realized they were out of stock and provided an estimated date for when they would be back in stock.
Overall, I found the communication from FactoryOutletStore.com to be extremely poor. English is clearly not their first language, which made it difficult to understand each other at times. Additionally, the company seems to be poorly run, with a lack of follow-through and attention to detail. As someone who has worked in retail sales and shipping logistics, I understand that most people can understand things if they are explained clearly and followed through on. Unfortunately, Factory Outlet Store does not seem to prioritize these things.
While the lower prices may be tempting, I would caution others to read the reviews first. Many customers have reported similar problems with the company, and it seems that they do not prioritize customer satisfaction. In the future, I will be willing to pay extra for a new 5200 directly from Poly/Plantronics, as I have had better experiences with them in the past.

Company "Process(es)/Procedures/Practices
1 - Ordered a "new" transmitter (Dogtra) to replace my lost one on 11APR23 and received the order on 14APR23.
2 - The "new" transmitter was not in original packing and only placed into a manila bubble wrap envelope with a packing list.
3 - The "new" transmitter was defective upon receipt (the second/middle digit that indicates power levels did not work).
4 - Called FactoryOutletStore.com (FOS) to request a new transmitter and was told they could NOT send a new one until the old was received by them first. So... Due to THEIR error (shipping a questionably "new" item that didn't work correctly), I was now going to be forced to be without a transmitter until they get the old one back.
5 - I asked for them to ship new one while I kept the old one. Upon receipt of properly operating transmitter, I would return their defective one (in order to maintain training for my me and my dog). NOPE! Their "process" won't allow them to ship me a properly working item while I still kept the one they sent earlier, unless... I pay for a new one FIRST! In other words... I have to literally pay for their mistake.
6 - They had all my payment information (and could have charged me if I decided to keep the inoperative transmitter (Why I would do that, I have NO idea.) and they were going to send a return shipment label for the broken one (so they had the means to track the return)... NOPE!
7 - I went from the guy that answers the 800 number to "Scarlett" (that sounded more Hindi than American) in "escalations" to "Jane" (Scarlett's Hindi neighbor) and still got nowhere.
8 - Their business practices are simply wrong. If you ship someone a POS item, then you need to make it right. I will NEVER do business with these people and I cannot recommend them for ANYONE - unless you like getting screwed over.
Tip for consumers:
I truly have nothing good to say about the business practices of this company. They know they're wrong and only want your money.

Dogtra 280C Transmitter
Desired outcome: Change "Process(es)" to support the customer.
TomTom refurb
Bought a refurb TomTom and it worked at first. After this outfit’s 90 day Warranty Period it would no longer acquire any satellites - won’t work. They refused to work with me at all - just referred me to the TomTom manufacturer - but of course they will only charge me to work on it as it was a refurb from these folks. I can understand their “right” to hide behind the strict observance of their warranty, but I won’t ever buy anything from them again and caution you: They won’t work with you at all about a defective product that shows up after their 90 day Warranty period. I can be strict too about where I spend my money.
Desired outcome: Refund - I had to buy another one for my summer trip

Adjustable Dumbells
A few months ago i ordered two adjustable dumbbells online. I received (after 5 weeks) a cheap pair of sunglasses that worth maybe 1 Dollar, i directly contacted the company via email and they said sorry for the wrong shipment and promised me to send the product as soon as possible but i did not receive anything as promised, i sent another message to complain and they answered for the second and last time to tell me that i will receive it in 4 to 5 weeks and they now don't answer my messages !
Desired outcome: 49.98 $
Necklace
I ordered a necklace, but received a completely different necklace to what I ordered. I've been dealing with someone in the company through email, but have gotten no where. All they say is they can only give me a refund if I ship the item back to them. I have no problem doing so, but I will not spend another cent on this scam. And they apparently "don't have a label".
It's the 21st century. They can absolutely send me a label.
Plus, any "discounts" or partial refunds offered kept changing in percentage.
Apparently this company wants to be sued.
Desired outcome: Full refund

Suspicious/fraudulent website leading to refund and inappropriate customer care
This website is extremely suspicious and a series of events has lead to be believe it is a fraud/scam website POST having made a purchase.
I purchased a mattress from them on 8/2/2021. A few days later the suspicion arose when I received an email confirmation on the tracking of my purchase.
The Tracking number posted on the email never existed on the XPO Logisitics website they claim they use. The Factory Outlet Store Logo within the email took me to this website: https://iterable.com/?chid=4314&cid=506295
I went to the website and clicked on My Order Status, only to redirect me to the non-existing XPO Logistics tracking number. I then called Customer Service to initiate a refund. A representative named "Leo" stated that an email receipt will be sent in 48 hours with a refund being processed. I recorded the conversation for documentary purposes, because at this point I felt this was a fraud site. Nothing ever happened 48 hours later.
In order to be compliant with my credit card in Fraud Department, I called them again. Leo answered again. He was SO unprofessional, raising his voice at me, interrupting me and getting angry. I asked to provide me with his Last Name and/or Employee # to file a complaint and he said he could not provide this to me. I asked to escalate to a higher Tier and speak to a manager to get this resolved and he said transferring to speak to a manager is not possible. It was blatantly obvious, from the complete lack of customer service and ethics with him yelling at me, interrupting me every time to never let me finish my ideas and not provide information that other companies do so willingly gave me all the reasons that this is NOT a US based business. The US would NEVER, absolutely ever respond in the manner he did since companies understand the importance of customer rep training and how to handle a situation. I wanted to have it all recorded and when asked when I would get my refund. He stated 24 hours and, to confirm, I said "Ok, so is this by tomorrow at this time or by the end of the day shift", Leo responded "You do the math. I said 24 hours, you should know how to count!" This is NOT HOW US COMPANIES TREAT THIER EMPLOYEES. I called Fraud Department of my Credit Card and have everything documented and archived.
Desired outcome: A refund of my money and to SHUT DOWN this website.
