On Oct. 19, 2023, I placed an order on Fanatics.com. The expected delivery date was Oct. 28th.
I placed a second order (for an advent calendar) on Oct. 29th.
On Nov. 4, 2023, I contacted the Fanatics Chat Bot and got ahold of a human to go over both orders because neither of the tracking information updated.
I was informed that the 1st order was simply lost. So, the associate reinitiated the order. I was also told that the second order would ship on 11/5.
On Oct. 6, I contacted the Fanatics Chat Bot again because the UPS notification for the first order indicated that it was going to an old address of mine and there was no update on the tracking of the second order (the advent calendar).
Fanatics could not stop the shipment of the first and I was told I needed to contact them for a refund after the delivery date of November 14th. Also, the advent calendar was out of stock and they didn't know when it would be in stock.
I decided to cancel the advent calendar order because I just don't want to deal with Fanatics.com any more. It looks like it will be a struggle to get reimbursed for the first order, but I'll try. As an aside, it appears the associate doubled the first order, so instead of shipping 2 items as indicated in my first order, there may be 4.
Desired outcome: Fully refunded and I will never visit the Fanatics.com site again.
