with the covid precautions in place, the pdf forms you are using are not created with the ability to fill in the blanks. for people with no access to a printer/scanner. it is difficult to fill out and return the forms. i would expect to be able to access the form from a phone/device and fill in the blanks/send to appropriate department. with no one in your offices to receive mail, it is hard to provide inputs/get written responses. is there a plan in progress to update your processes and forms to better support a work from home model for your dol employees?
Desired outcome: pdf form with blanks that can be filled in and submitted online
Unemployment
My name is Colista Grace Marie Hallman Besse. I was approved for my unemployment benefits weeks and weeks ago. I have tried calling the office, writing the office, and I get no response. I should have been receiving my unemployment for over 3 months now and have not received any benefits. I am so disappointed. I need them badly. Someone fraudulently received my first 5 payments and when I complained they froze my account and from then on nothing has been done. I cannot survive like this
Please help me

Pua payments and the Integrity Unit
I have been receiving my pua payments since April and the in November my account was locked and I was directed to ID.ME to verify my identity. I did everything that was asked and my identity was verified. But I'm still not receiving may payments. I finally got in touch with someone at the local career center and was informed that I was waiting on the integrity unit to contact me to verify my identity again since I have been to prison before. I jumped through so many hoops with ID.ME that I figured that it would suffice the DOL guess not. Me and my family are struggling and need this matter resolved.
Desired outcome: The stop on my PUA claim lifted and funds deposited
I had been getting pua also
But when caa was approved I received 2 payments in late January 2021
February 3rd 2021 I attempted to log into myui and was informed my account had been locked and prompted to verify with I’d.me
Which I did same morning (within minutes) of 2-3-2021
I have received 0 regular mail, email nor phone calls before or after my verifying with Id.me
I have tried calling, left voicemail
Sent email and tried contacting my local Thomasville ga center with 0 responses from any way of communication.
I’ve had several emails with I’d.me 1 to say that, yes, I was verified and that gdol had access to see that I was verified and 2 that there was nothing more they “could do.” That I needed to contact gdol and they couldn’t understand Why gdol had not responded within 3 days.
I have continued to certify and it has actually been 7 weeks of Nothing from gdol.
I can’t even download the tax form because I don’t have access to myui 😡😡😡
It is now [protected] ? 😡

I have called and sent emails on many occasions to no avail. I am begging for an update. I am having to move by the end of February and I need those funds. I understand that thing...
Read full review of Georgia Department Of LaborI was approved for PAU then after months turned down Nobody will help
My name is Paula Duvall, I am a disabled 66 year old woman who applied for unemployment but denied then sent the link to PAU and told I qualified from Feb 2020 to present. I did work some in Nov and Dec 2019 but they took me off the schedule no explanation, not many people want a disabled 66 year old employee. I interviewed with Steve Gilliam in Feb 2020 as personal assistant part time however, he recanted job offer with the COVID-19 worrying about his job. Then I was exsposed to COVID-19 while caring for 2 members in my household. I was quarantined by Dr. Terry Jones. I am high risk with my medical conditions and age. So, I was impacted directly by the pandemic. Loss of wages included. I have filed appeal several times but nobody will respond. I have contacted Labor Commissioner, Senators and Ga Governor.
Nobody will help me or reconsider. Both me and my service dog will be sleeping under a bride next month if not approved. I am so saddened that our government officials ignore us poor people. Even Trump said people who normally didn't qualify will qualify with PAU.
Thank you for your time in advance,
Paula DuVall

Not receiving my Unemployment benefits
I applied for Unemployment Oct 6 and received a letter stating my weekly benefit amount but I have not received any anything. I have tried constantly to get someone by phone, I have emailed, I even faxed a letter, nobody has contacted me yet. I realize that they are busy but it seems to me that someone could take a few minutes to phone me or email me. I would like to know When can I get my benefits. Thank you Barbara Parrish Albany Ga [protected]@gmail.com. [protected]
The whole department
I don' t know if these departments need some new workers but somebody need to learn how to pick up the phone for these people like me who have lost everything due to their incompetence. They are supposed to be out here helping people due to covid-19 yet they aren't. I've been waiting for my unemployment benefits for about 3 weeks now. Bills are due, rent needs to be paid yet these people aren't even picking up the phone nor returning emails or calls.
Not receiving any assistance regarding unemployment benefits
I filed for my unemployment back in March, never received and feed back after hundreds of voicemails and emails being left. No one ever returned a call! I finally had an update on my file on july 3rd, approving me for benefits. I received my first payment on july 21st from wk ending on july 11th. I couldn't understand why it took so long to process the payment, but nonetheless it was a payment so I was happy and looked forward to catching up on my bills with the payments to come. That however didn't happen, I received only that one payment and nothing else! Started the voicemail and email game once again with no response whatsoever. I had a flicker of hope when they announced they would be scheduling appointments online. I was online the very 1st day it was launched, and received an appt. And email confirmation of pending appt. Needless to say I was thrilled to finally get some answers as well as my money! However this didn't happen, no one ever called at the appt date & time. I tried back every monday to schedule another appt. With no luck until nov.23, appt and email confirmation (just as last time) and just like last time no one called. I just don't understand what is really going on with the gdol, it's so discouraging to think that it's ppl that are getting paid to do a job that clearly isn't being done! How many other ppl are in the same situation and seemingly no one cares enough to simply do their job, answer the phone, return calls, return emails, do something!
Unemployment
I was put out of work since March 16 because of the pandemic I filed my claim and still have not receive any payments. I was told my employer had to file for me I contacted them and they said they have filed the proper paper work. I then received a award letter stating that I would receive payments . I was then sent a Way2Go card. No funds are on the cards and when I try and claim it's say I'm not able to because of my employer. I try and call the phone is out of service. I wrote the commissioner and he said someone would be in contact with me that's was over a month ago and I still have not heard from any within the department. So since March 16 I have been outta work and not receive any Compensation for my priors works or from the cares act that award people extra funds due to the corona virus.
pua issues, lack of assistance, and one last plea for assistance
I've tried to get in touch with the integrity unit by phone and email for a few weeks now. My local career center has gotten back to me but they can't see what the problem is. I have to get in touch with the integrity unit.
My payments from PUA abruptly stopped without warning. I haven't received a payment since the week ending Sept. 5th.
I am missing week ending:
Sept 12th, 19th, 26th.
Oct 3rd 10th 17th 24th 31st
Nov 7th
I was asked to verify my identity finally Oct 15th though it took more than 24hrs to receive the code so I actually verified through ID. ME as well as sent docs in through email to this very same e-mail. I am emailing now. I wanted to reaffirm my identity.
During covid when the libraries in weren't open I had let a few folk use my computer for their unemployment. For some reason it seemed one of them tried to log into my account. I know because I got an error of when I tried to log in. Eventually I reset my pin. I wasn't sure what they were trying to do so I reported unauthorized use of my social.
I reset my pin again when asked to do by id verify.
I have tried for weeks to get a hold of someone to see what the issue is. I finally got ahold of UI customer service.
They explained that the integrity office should have contacted me about this issue. After thinking about what else it could be I remember reporting the oddness of my login that day.
I've tried contacting the integrity unit by phone to no avail. So I figured I would try via e-mail once again. I've also done the ID verify through ID. ME for SSA.gov. They recently added the program as well.
I am unsure what else you may need to resolve the hold up but please let me know. My phone number is [protected]. My cell number is [protected] but is disconnected at the moment which brings me to the next paragraph below this one. And of course you can reach me @ [protected]@msn.com
I am getting behind on my bills. I need someone to tell me what the problem is. How do we fix it? What else do I need to send you or complete?
The only good news financial wise I've had lately is that the IRS finally got my identity documents I mailed in May and my return will finally be processed in 9 weeks to 16 weeks but that is a long time to me when bills are stacking up! Still it was good to finally get that news.
I would like to hear something from the GDOL. I need to get this sorted out! I am about to just give up on getting anything sorted out with the GDOL. My efforts seem in vain. Even with the new appointment system which I was able to actually make an appointment but…..
The new appointment pilot and my experience.
This is crazy. My appointment was for Nov 16th. Yet someone called on 11/12 from [protected] @10:14 A.M. when I wasn't here. She left a message saying it was the gdol if I still needed the appointment to reschedule. But my appointment wasn't until the 16th! They said no name in the message mine or hers, etc so I thought that wasn't for me perhaps they dialed the wrong number, my appointment wasn't until the 16th! No one called the 16th! So I make an appointment, they call last week, so why did I even make an appointment? When I was finally able to make an appointment I was like YEAH! Some answers but no. Craziness! Just another false sense of hope that I will ever get all this taken care of.

Unemployment insurance benefit fraud
On Friday July 25, 2020 I was going though my mail. The last letter was addressed to me but it was from Georgia Department of Labor. It seemed very strange as I have never worked in Georgia.. Never been to Georgia and I have never even lived in Georgia. I reside in New York and have lived here for almost 25yrs (previously residing in Minnesota) and I haven't worked for over 15yrs. I had to retire as I am disabled. As I was sitting and looking over the letter I became shook up.. and way beyond being shook up.. I was trembling. Not only was this letter for Unemployment Insurance Benefits I supposedly filed for but in the upper left corner was the last 4 digits of my Social Security Number with the 1st 5 digits x-ed out. I have tried contacting the Georgia Department of Labor and have yet to receive any reply! This isn't the only Department of Labor I have received a letter for another Claim for Unemployment Insurance Benefits I supposedly filed but this one came from Albany New York. Same wording and again the last 4 digits of my Social Security Number. I received a letter towards end of October stating they believe someone recently filed and used my identity. They have turned it over to Law Enforcement. I would appreciate someone look into this matter ASAP! I still have the letter. If needed I could possibly email message it to you!
How is possible for someone to file a Unemployment Insurance Benefits Claim with using someone else's credentials? (identity) I know and realize I'm not the first person who has ever had their credentials (identity) stolen and I won't be the last. Doesn't employment offices check a person's Drivers License and/or State issued ID card match up to their Social Security Card? When I was an employee at our employment office several years ago we always had to verify by making sure everything matched!
Unemployment insurance not being paid
I filed a claim for unemployment on 8/3/20. Since then I have been filing weekly claims but as of 10/27/20 have not received any funds. I have tried calling the number for the Gwinnett office each week, but they never return my call. They are totally unresponsive. I received emails from them on 8/3 (boilerplate with conf#) and 9/14 saying my claim had been processed.
Pandemic unemployment assistance
To whom it may concern
I am writing this email about a problem I have regarding PUA. My name is Gabriela Dambra I am self employed and I teach French at 15 schools in Atlanta.
I was approved for PUA until December 2020. I received the money until July 7 2020 and then although I certify weekly I did not receive unemployment assistance.
I called countless times, sent countless emails to the email on the Georgia Department of Labor website, and UI_ADJUDICATION@gdol.ga.gov and I still haven't received the money and no one took care of my situation or
or reply to my emails.
Every time I called the person I spoke to, sent an email to PUA and told me that someone would call me but I did not receive any phone or email response.
I mention that I can't start my job yet The State doesn't let me start because of Covid 19 and they don't want me to go from one school to another (I have 15 schools in my program)
Please help me with my situation!
Thank you very much!
With respect and consideration!
Gabriela Dambra.

Unemployment benefits help! In crisis mode!
My name is Jonathan James Hall, my phone number is [protected].
My issue is that I Filed my claim on July 17th 2020, and I received an email on August 20th that it was processed. I have yet to receive any "funds" for my account. It has been close to THREE MONTHS SINCE MY CLAIM WAS PROCESSED. I have had numerous emails sent and have only had three replies from one Cynthia Podding. Each email stated the same thing; that my claim was "under determination". The last email was received over a month ago. Emails questioning the holdup have been met with silence, and the same with the numerous phone calls and messages I have left over the course of these last THREE MONTHS.
I would very much appreciate a reply or a phone call as quickly as possible. My emergency funds are close to gone.

Award letter no benefits.
On 07/12/20 I filed an unemployment claim. I received my award letter on 08/10/20. I received a call in regards to my claim the repesentative stated the claim would be processed, yet as of 09/28 20 I have not received any benefits. When I check my claim status it keeps saying processing{for 60 days}.I have left several voice messages to no avail. I would like to know when will my benefits be arriving. How much longer does this process take it has been 80 days and nothing further has been done .Even if you guys are in a extremely long back log why does the site not say this.It is one thing to lose your job but another to not even be able to get the state benefits I qualify for.It would be nice to pay my bills !
Unemployment Insurance
I have been unemployed since March 11, 2020, and was approved by the Georgia Department of Labor to receive unemployment insurance benefits on May 1, 2020, but to date I have not received any payments yet.
I have called, and emailed the GA DOL many times, and they have not responded.
Account locked after idme
Employer filed unemployment stopped mid July 2020. Received email Aug, 25th from GDOL to verify identity. Verified identity Aug. 28th with IDme, was supposed to receive second email within 24 hours to unlock my account. Account still locked. Cannot get any answers from GDOL. I have emailed 100's of times and have been calling every day for two months, leaving messages when I get through. As of today September, 24th I still have no answers. I would like for someone to unlock my account so I can receive my UI benefits.
Augusta ga unemployment
Hi i've been trying to reach georgia ui for months, through email, by phone, by mail in letter, I applied for ui in june, thought I was approved in july because I received back pay along with a determination letter, by ever since no payments and portal says "pending eligibility determination"... I have not received any updates or changes to my claim. Or...

On the 30th of May I filed my UI Claim, after numerous weeks I was denied in which I knew would happen. I then recieved my link for the PUA benefits, I have answered all the emails, verified my identity, sent in my Georgia 2019 State Tax information as well. I dont understand what is going on, and what really blows my mind is that My husband who only worked one month between 2019 going into 2020 recieved his PUA right off the top. But yet I worked almost all of 2019 and I have yet to recieve a dime! Me and my family is currently in a homeless state, and its not guaranteed where will be from one day to the next. Please reexamine the claims of people who are in dire need versus the ones who literally havent done anything and is recieving benefits before the ones that put the time and effort into their jobs!
