The girls name is veronica bocout, or something of that last name. I was new to the store location. I saw that the item was out and just asked her, because she was walking by, 'is there anymore in the back."i'll go check."she goes and never comes back, I know b/c I waited. I figured she got caught up with customers. I decided to find her later and ask her, 'did you find any?"
She gives me the ugliest look and says 'does it look like I found it." and walks off. Thats very poor customer service. I go to check out and ask the cashier if they knew the girl, she did and gave me her full name. I ask her to call the manager so I can complain. I wanted and waited and waited and waited. My ice cream was beginning to melt so I decided to call in and post online. Rude customer service who can't do a simple task. She still works there and i'm surprised as rude as she is, she still works there. I read other complaints about this heb, maybe mine is nothing compared to the employees at this location, that constantly steal customers credit cards.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have been a customer of this store since our family establishment in Texas, about 2 years and a half ago. Always welcomed by cashiers and there is always someone to help. Great variety of products etc.
However, today I called to make a reservation for a carpet cleaner and it was another story. I went through a couple of services before finally getting to the right department, then, the lady at the customer service, named Britney, tell me hello and ask me the purpose of my call. So here I am, explaining that I need to rent a carpet cleaner . The store was very noisy, I could hear that. However, the lady, instead of apologizing for the noise and asking me to repeat (apparently she did not get it), gives the phone to her colleague and, on the rudest tone I ever heard says " Take that call, I can't understand what she's saying the one on the phone".
I think that customers, whom ever they are, deserve a minimum of respect, especially when talking to the customer service.
I hope this message will be read and taken in consideration.

KATY TEXAS IS A BAD BAD PLACE TO BE!
You should have turned her into a manager for that rude phone conduct! I just had the worst experience in my life at the HEB in Alice, Tx. I know his name, spoke with 2 managers, then their boss! I left HEB crying, no items, disrespected, humiliated, mocked, ignored, belittled all by one employee! MY HEB CALLED ME WANTING TO GIVE ME THE ITEMS FREE! NO I WANT HIS JOB! WHEN THIS IS OVER I WILL TEACH HIM THE RESPECT HIS PARENTS NEVER DID! I HOLD HEB RESPONSIBLE FOR HIRING RUDE, NARROW MINDED, INCONSIDERATE PERSON! Amen!
Today, I went to an HEB Store on San Pedro and Oblate streets to cash two Government issued Checks before they expired, this was my First time ever going to this HEB, I won't ever go back there again, I will still buy from HEB, just not at that location. There were two Women working in the Check Cashing area, one named Kaitlyn, Hispanic dark Hair, young, the other was Black, older, wearing a Brown Wig, named Melvina, I didnt' know If she was a male or female. When it was my turn, I went to Kaitlyn, I presented my Checks and I.D. to Kaitlyn, one a Refund from the State Of Texas Attorney General, the other a Check from Bexar County, for Jury Duty. Kaitlyn seemed to be having problems processing these Checks, when Melvina, came over to help her. A few minutes passed, then they were able to cash the Check from the State of Texas, but not the one from Bexar County, when I asked what was the problem with the Bexar County Check, Melvina went off and told me that I should be glad that they gave me a break on the first check, which didn't answer the question, so I just asked again, since this is what they seem to be specializing in, that they would know, but Melvina said, in a very loud, Ghetto tone of voice, "we gave you a break on that first check" which still didn't answer my question, which seemed to be a easy question to answer and not so unreasonable a request, Melvina, the Black Woman with the Brown Wig hanging off of her head didn't process the question as what went wrong, she told me that I had been given a break as if I was some bum off of the street that had been standing just outside of the HEB door begging for money. Melvina talked so loud that everyone in the growning line could hear every word. Melvina finally said read the paper that Kaitlyn had given me, I said what paper? Melvina said in a loud, angry voice that Kaitlyn had given me a sheet of Paper explaining why they were unable to process the Bexar County Check, i said to Melvina that Kaitlyn hadn't given me any paper explaing anything, Kaitlyn confirmed what I had just said, that she hadin't given me any paper, Melvina decided to read it to me while the Customers waited, thats when I asked to speak with a Manager. Melvina called a Manager, me and my Son, stepped away from the Counter, thats when I noticed that a Female Security Guard, dressed in a Black Uniform had materialized, the a Manager, Female quickely walked up, Melving called out from behing me saying that she wanted to talk to the Manager first, not caring about taking up the Customers time, who had already watched this un necessary drama unfold. I spoke briefly with the Female Manager, then with Joe, another Manager, Joe had smiled and said to me and my Son as we first entered the Store, so I was comfortable talking with him. Joe provided me with a Customer Care or Advocate Card and the Store Managers Number. I will give the Store Manager a call. I will give you all an update on what ultimatley transpired. I really don't believe that they have rude, crazy people like Melvina working at their store, that was totally crazy and uncalled for.
