Missing deliveries & refusing refunds
Avoid at all costs, unless you enjoy paying for a product then not receiving it. My first box was delivered to an unknown address. Instead of them applying the 50% off on the first box on my next order, they tell me that all they can do is give me a credit for the future after the current offer has expired. Fast forward to box # 6 and guess what? Also missing. My deliveries are due on Mondays. I get an email stating that this week's delivery would be delayed due to the holiday and that it would arrive on Tuesday Jan. 3. Well, the box did not arrive on Tuesday and when I try to get a refund, some customer service representative in Columbia (the country) tells me that they cannot process a refund. I'm stuck waiting for the box even though they cannot tell me if and when it will arrive. On Wednesday Jan. 4 at 5:08 p.m., I get a text message stating that the box was delivered. Well, not to my house since I am here but the box is not. The link they sent me to review the delivery does not work. When I call customer service, once again, I get a customer service representative in Columbia. He claims HelloFresh never fights a customer getting a refund, even though last night's rep refused. When I asked for the corporate office information, he refused. I looked it up and found that this company is owned by a German company. You are setting yourself up to get screwed because apparently no one in the United States to help. Hands down, worst customer service experience. Sad really because the meals were good. I have the chat transcript to prove the nonsense from Tues. Jan. 3.
Desired outcome: 1) Refund; 2) Missing discount which would equate a 2nd refund; and 3) Contact by someone at the corporate office.

Delivered by Dpd 24.12.2022 left upside down contents split completely soaked and ruined them the box away.Have tried to live chat. Email and call but got nowhere. Rang today asked to speak to a manager they said someone would call me back, no response! Dpd email confirming delivery made clearly shows it was left upside down I can send this email to you?

I had my account cancelled last month as I upset with the company over payments and not refunding when i did not want their boxes. I tried to cancel within 1 day of the payment being taken but they would not do this, and I ended up going over drawn incurring fees with my bank.
A payment was again taken this week of £50.97 which i did not authorise and was not expecting so again went into an overdraft incurring fees!.
I would like the money back but they will not refund the payment. They say it was from July 2022 but when I cancelled my account I was told all was settled!

Deceptive business model
Unlike a lot of companies that allow you to peruse their website to look at their product offerings before you determine whether or not you want to do business, Hello Fresh requires you to set up account , put in your billing details, and select a meal plan, beforehand. The system then generates a default delivery date , to which I thought, no problem, I should be able to cancel the order as I was just info gathering to investigate their meal plans. No dice! When I contacted customer service, I told them that I wanted to cancel and was promptly told that since my delivery date was within a certain time window and not of my choosing, I no longer had that option and had to proceed with the order. How absurd! This is deceptive marketing and a deliberate attempt to force customers to procure their services in an underhanded manner. Suffice it to say, I won't do business with them again. In the meantime, I've filed a dispute with my bank to reverse the charges and I remain hopeful that my request will be fulfilled.
order not recieved
I haven't received my order and received a message on facebook from a stranger telling me she has my order. As its 6 days old I can't see it being edible now. Can you please advise what happens now moving forward. I was really looking forward to starting a health heating plan with Hellofresh and I am so disappointed. I have attached a screenshot of the message I received from the stranger who actually received my order instead of me.

Advertisement scam
An ad caught my atttention claiming the first few boxes to be free, I then answered some random questionnaire and were called by a hellofresh employee that assured me every minute of the call their service is fresh, local and cheap. Well cheap it is not. He asked for my bank info claiming i would only have to pay for the shipment, about 2-3€. But a few days later i see a withdrawal of 57eu from my account. I asked for the minimum amount : 3 boxes meal for 4 persons. This is incredibly expensive especially knowing that i never gave my accord to be paying that much. I have been trying to contact hellofresh but they make it nearly impossible to. 3 emails, 2 phone numbers and contacting them on instagram did not work. The food was really good though, if you a rich it is a good solution, but don't expect any help from them whatsoever.

I am currently a customer of Hellofresh.
I received a text message from my debit card at 3:11 a.m. on October 17, 2022. It said that Hellofresh had charged me for an order that they would be delivering on Friday, October 21.
I immediately went to the Hellofresh chat to speak to an agent about refunding my money. I had forgotten to skip this week's order (as i have for over a year now) and had no intention of purchasing anything from Hellofresh.
The agent informed me that the window of a 5 day minimum had passed and that he could not refund my money. I expressed my disagreement with this policy, since they bill me in the middle of the night after the 5 day window is passed. I told the agent there should be a notification via text from Hellofresh before they automatically charge anyone, so people have the chance to skip the week in situations like mine where i forgot to do so. The agent was not helpful at all and continued to cite policy, which i told him is a scam. Hellofresh is stealing money with this policy, and that they will lose a customer of this $70 theft.
The useless agent informed me that a superior agent would be contacting me later that day via phone call. This agent did contact me and he was more useless than the other agent. He confirmed that Hellofresh has a policy which enables them to steal money from customers. This agent told me that Hellofresh will not be refunding my money.
I am not happy with this company policy. I have been refunded before due to this sort of mistake, but apparently Hellofresh doesn't want to do refunds anymore. They prefer to steal from and alienate customers. I want no part of a company that treats its customers this way and steals their money.

Hello Fresh Canada took $82.99 from me without my authorization - doing this after I attempted to cancel a subscription just seconds after realizing their site somehow subscribed me without my consent.
When I realized this wasn't working through their website I contacted them by email and by chat. I did this TWICE and did this immediately.
Since then, nothing but excuses and still no refund. Their stunts make it clear this company can't be trusted. What they did was theft - literally.
Desired outcome: A full refund of $82.99, plus the $100 in NSF fees caused to me due to their negligence and lack of professionalism. If there are any extra fees involved, charge them for it.
Hello fresh - box contents
In my delivery this morning I had the 3 meals - meal 28, the bag had a slit and most of the contents were loose in the box. I checked the ingredients list and the carrots were missing and not loose in the box.
The box was sealed correctly so nothing could have escaped in travelling - assume the bag was split at the packing stage and my carrots never got packed in the first place

I ordered a box with three meals for 2 people and paid shipping. The delivery was supposed to be today 9/27/2022. I never received my box and the delivery service Hello Fresh contracts with showed me the box was delivered to someone else. I reached out to Hello Fresh with proof of this and they offered no help. This is the worst company ever I have dealt with and they have no customer service skills. So frustrated. :(

I received an email for a free box and agreed to pay for shipping but instead was charged $168 for a membership. In addition, I was charged $50. to Just Ask company to connect me to HelloFresh. Then yesterday I received multiple boxes of duplicate items. Cajun spicy chicken and cheddar burgers Would not have ordered spicy chicken and did not want a membership. I was prepared to pay $10+ shipping but not $168! Very disappointed

My friend gave me a voucher to try hello fresh with a free box. I placed the order and paid the £5 shipping fee, however a few days later i noticed you kept trying to take £33 out of my account. on the 15th i rang and spoke to a colleague and expressed in clear terms that if i had to pay for my free box then i categorically do not want it. She said apparently i chose premium meals so that's why i was being charged. i mentioned there was no mention of this when i ordered, a free box to me sounds just like that, it should be a free box not £33! i stated on the phone that if you were to charge me then I DO NOT WANT THE BOX! I'm a single mum and on a tight budget so I cant afford money to just go from my account. I called and your colleague said that she had canceled the charges but as the box had already dispatched i would still receive the item but not to worry as she has removed the costs. Checked my bank this morning and low and behold £33 has come out of my account! I do not want the box, you can come and collect the food as i haven't even used it, i was promised by your staff that i wouldn't be charge and i have stated again and again that i do not want your "free" box if i have to be charged! Please can someone call me as a matter of urgency and refund me that monies you have taken out of my account and come and collect your box as i stated again and again i do not want it. For a first time user of your services i am extremely unimpressed and do not want to use you again or pay for something that i have categorically said i do not want to pay. Ordered my first box after receiving an offer for 60% off and 6free meals across 8 boxes. The offer was not applied to my subscription. I contacted hellofresh via email and received a response stating that the rep was cancelling my subscription! No suggestions on how to apply the discount offered, no apologies. When I wrote them again I was completely ignored! What a scam! So disappointed!

Hello Fresh changing my delivery date and taking payment out my account. Tried to cancel but wouldn't allow me to.
A customer service rep contacted me and offered discounts. I explained to the CS rep that I did not get paid until the following Friday 16th Sep and would be unable to take the meals this week. She insisted that i needed to continue with the process or I would lose the discounts offered to me. She also told me I could request the date that suited me best and so I did. I booked the 21st September, the reason, I would be paid when the payment would be taken from my account. Just before the agent left the call I checked when the first delivery was due and it stated the 13th Sep, I queried this with the CS rep, she told me that I could pause this delivery, as she quickly got off the phone. I tried to pause the delivery on the 13th and reschedule but the system wouldn't allow it. I tried to contact Hello Fresh direct but no answer, I finally decided to cancel the whole thing but unfortunately I wasn't allowed to cancel the box on the 13th Sep and you have taken £34.19 out of my account. You clearly did not allow a cooling off period which I am not happy about either.
Desired outcome: Please refund asap and I would appreciate an explanation why this has happened.
Fraudulent Charges
I received an offer for 10 free meals over the course of 4 boxes. The first box being completely free and the following boxes would be the cost of shipping. My first delivery arrived on August 21st and my second order arrived on the When I happen to review my bank account I noticed a $51.00 dollar charge for my first box and a $26.00 charge for my second box. When I called to cancel my next delivery set for Sunday, they said they couldn't cancel my order because it is already on the truck tom be shipped. Well tell me, how can the products be that fresh if there are sitting in a hot truck for four plus days.
Desired outcome: I want this company to take accountability their 85+ unresolved complaints.

I received my box yesterday, August 25, 2022 and it was torn all apart and some of the ingredients were coming out of the box. This is the first time, ever, that I have been this disappointed with Hello Fresh! I was so excited to get home and start cooking something yummy with the items in the box but, quickly, I was bothered that it would be delivered in that type of shape. I don't know why it was even brought to me looking like this but it's not right. I look forward to a fair resolution. We had to order out yesterday because we weren't sure just what was going on with this box. I have enclosed pictures for your review. Thanks

Chicken
My Hello Fresh box came yesterday and was wet on the bottom. Not thinking much of it, I emptied the box and threw it out right away. Later on, I found out that it was TWO of my THREE packs of chicken that were ripped open and secreting the mystery fluid. Very frustrating as I now have had to re-purchase my protein outside of Hello Fresh since the lack of care that was taken by my delivery people.

January 9th alleged delivery has been a nightmare. Received text that order was delivered - not on porch, only the Amazon package that was delivered while on a work call. The link sent via text just spins. I had to reach out to Hello Fresh 6 times. I was given a new link which did not work. I was given a tracking number in which the website reports tracking status not found. Meanwhile, reps keep offering credits toward orders over a month from now. Most of the responses in the rep chats are "canned" - takes a lot of effort to finally get a tangible response...keep digging so I can file a police report that $117 of food was either stolen off my porch (which is doubtful) or that the delivery company has created a falsehood. During two of the chats I was told that the delivery company may report delivered but not actually delivered - giving them until 8pm (a repeat on the second day of my investigation). I have yet to receive a link that actually provide me proof that the box was delivered on my doorstep and I'm out $117. I have placed on future orders on hold. The company refuses to send a replacement delivery...just credits to be applied 5 weeks from now. Not spending anymore money with this company and I am filing a police report after I chew on the delivery company once I get a real telephone number
