big scam company
If you are from India then please never order anything from this iHerb. I purchased 2 creams from this website and paid with my credit card. Later I received a message from them saying that I need to send them a copy of my passport. After wasting a lot of time I uploaded the copy and waited for my product. When it arrived I also received a call stating I need to pay extra money for custom duty which was never mentioned before. When I contacted customer service and told that it was never mentioned on the website about the extra cost, their rep started arguing with me that its my fault not to find all the details. After reading all the reviews I am convinced this company is nothing but a scam. Don't buy from iHerb.

Well, it is actually my fault that I've decided to order something from iHerb. Dealing with this company was my biggest mistake ever. I made an order and everything seemed to be fine, but the next day I received a message from iHerb stating that I have to go to their site and verify some deposit amount into my bank for verification. Well, I had no idea why they needed that for, but I did as they said. Checked my bank statement and found out that they took more money than I've expected. Usually, when a card is used online, the transaction verification code is asked, but with iHerb this step was missing. I gave them all the information they needed, I trusted this company and they decided to rob me! Thanks to these guys I've experienced a real nightmare! I immediately called my bank, spent many hours on the phone, but thank goodness the order was cancelled and money returned. Stay away from these thieves!
cancelled for no reason
I purchased something from iHerb and started to get messages from them stating that they couldn't process my credit card. At first I couldn't understand what they wanted from me, because messages were written in broken English. I contacted my bank and they told the order had been processed. Yesterday, I received another email saying they had cancelled my order because they couldn't process the credit card. They don't know how to process a simple credit card? What's wrong with these people? I will never order from iHerb again, even knowing about their super low prices!

I ordered herbs from the website www.iherb.org. The seller told me that the delivery would be for free. So I placed the order for $150 and waited for the confirmation email or the tracking number, but this scammer didn’t provide any info about my order. I sent multiple emails and asked about the status of my order, but no response. I told them to return money, but again they ignored me. Total scam, so don’t buy from them and post comments about your experience with this company.

I bought vitamins from the website www.iherb.ca, but the bottle wasn’t full and damaged as well. I contacted customer services and told that I wanted to change it, but the agent was rude and she spoke in horrible manner with me. She refused to change it, and told me that they could provide refund after I sent order back. I needed to pay for return postage on my own. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Let’s share views about this website.

Iherb.com has very poor customer service and they fool people also.
They had a promotion last month - they promised to give a VIP status to everyone, who spents 200$ . I though that it would be nice to get a VIP status and had spent 200$, but I didn't receive this status! It turns out that the shipping cost and possible discounts are not included into this required sum! But there were no such information on iherb during the promotion! They were always writing "oh, spend 200$ and get a vip", and that's it... They are just fooling people!
And more, I have a technical problem for few months already! I was writing to support about 10 or more times! But still they did nothing to improve the situation!
I have used this code REQ532 to get a 10$ off my first order on iherb.com - it was the only good thing about them!

I haven't received my products after almost 2 months, i made my order on the 5th january, and it's the 25th february, i didn't get any refund either. They refuse to refund me. I chose your company over many others cause i believed you had a great service and i was planning to become a regular loyal customer as i order my vitamins online.

I ordered items worth of 60$ and i did not receive anything. It was been more than 3 months already. The customer service told me I am not eligible for a refund even though I did purchase the shipping with tracking option. Since I have a tracking number I contacted FedEX as well, but they told me that the product probably stuck at the customs and that they cannot do anything about it and that there is no way that I can contact the customs. I am terribly frustrated!

stolen money - no product
I made an order of vitamins from their website and the product was never delivered. I spoke to the shipping company and they said iherb.com simply has to contact them in order to process the refund. Simple I thought. Wrong.
After 19 emails back and forth with iherb.com customer support, 13 of which were the EXACT same copy and paste from them, I realize they simply wanted to steal my money. And it seems they even enjoyed it. They wouldn't even acknowledge that all they had to do was contact the shipping company. I asked over and over. I got the same copy and paste answers saying "international mail is untrackable." That is just completely wrong.
So 6 months later, way too many emails and hours of my life spent trying to rectify this, I get this an the last email from iherb.com so-called support:
"refund is :Denied"
Classy. Way to laugh at those whose money you have stolen.

I am appalled to read, here and elsewhere, of this company's cavalier attitude. People in the US should approach whatever legal and regulatory authorities are available to them to remedy the situation.
I live in New Zealand and took at face value iHerb's website claims to provide fast and reliable service. I used their recommended shipping method, DHL Global Priority Mail. My first order, in July, arrived promptly and safely. I repeated the order at the end of August and that second order has not arrived. I had to send four emails to iHerb before they replied.They suggested the delay was due to "International Shipping, Local Customs Regulations or your Local Delivery Provider."
As a retired journalist I have the time and some idea how to research this. The NZ Customs hold comprehensive records of packages sent to New Zealand residents which are currently being held for inspection or have been returned to sender or destroyed. My contact told me that under my name and address, there is no record of a package from iHerb.com falling into this category. The local delivery provider (New Zealand Post/DHL Courier Post) also have no record of receiving the package and referred me to DHL Global Mail headquarters in Frankfurt.
I quoted the DHL GM number iHerb supplied on my Order History. DHL Global reported: "We find only the DHL World track system following package status and can tell you that the packet was not sent from the USA since 30.08.2013."
I passed on this info to Customer Service at iHerb and they have repeated their previous response, adding: "We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and we appreciate your patience."
Well, frankly I need the product and my patience has run out. I'd advise international customers to be very wary of this company. They appear to have little idea about how to conduct an online or mail order business. They say there is no way to trace a package once it has left the US, but in this day and age that is not true. My first package arrived with no less than four bar codes attached at various stages of its journey. All these will have left a footprint, even if it is not readily accessible to the general consumer. In this case, I have DHL's report that the package never left the US.

They have also stolen $127 from me and refusing to let me know what was included in the return to the sender fee. DHL claims confidentiality and iHerb that DHL charged them $100 for a return fee (whereas the original fee was around $20). And after my subsequent emails (with forward from the DHL to iHerb) - iHerb is just refusing to communicate with me. That is just pure credit card fraud and will have to look at my options.

Stay away from IHerb international shipping. The shipping was lost, as per iHerb 'explanation' due to customs procedure. Checking further I found multiple no -delivery complaints international and local.
I made $200+ iHerb purchase as New Years gift. They offered to use DHL shipping, 14 days promised delivery. After 1 month of non-delivery, I was told to wait, that happens "sometimes". After 2 months I was told they do not request from DHL information on shipping within 3 months of sending. After 3 months I was informed they are NOT going to deal with DHL and refused to refund.
I called Global DHL for tracking and was notified that only the sender can request tracking information.
iHerb looks for SALES not taking any responsibility for delivery.

I have placed several orders with iHerb & recommended them to family & friends. I always choose DHL for shipping (the cost of this seems to be rising) & have had excellent service & fast delivery - thank you DHL. Last order placed on 20th April 2012 delivered on 24 April contained a serum in glass bottle which was damaged. I have emailed iHerb with pics of damaged item & requested replacement...no reply...subsequently sent further 4 emails & still NOTHING. When I compliment them on their excellent service I receive an immediate reply, seems when something goes wrong Customer Service disappears. Now looking to order elsewhere in future. Please advise if there is a Consumer Affairs Dept in US which can investigate complaints like in Australia.

I can't agree with you. I have only pleasant experience shopping at iherb.com. It is not their fault that some items get damaged, they always pack the goods very carefully. I had about 4 orders where some stuff was damaged, emailed iherb and got full refund for the products, I didn't even send the pictures. Try to contacts them through the website Contact us form, they reply very soon there. Overall I like shopping at iherb, don't let one unpleasant experience cross all the positive that shopping there can bring. Don't forget that they offer free shipping for orders over $40. Great deal. Many of my friends shop there too, I give them my discount code ROP388 to get $5-$10 off their first orders.

I have a nearly two-year non-delivery! I have spoken w/ customer service on multiple occasions and wasted several hours of my time (mostly on hold); moreover, they have not returned calls that were made in response to their own calls to me. This is the worst customer service i've ever experienced! Actually, it's just outright theft ($200+)!

This is the 2nd time I've had to cancel a card of mine due to an unauthorized transaction. My bank statement lists it as IHERB IHERB.COM. most recently woke up to a transaction notification from 5/16/23 at 23:05:55.
I ordered on 12/19/22 and the order number is [protected]. I put a correct address but it was delivered to a wrong address ( it was supposed to sent to ZheJiang in China but it was delivered to Hong Kong. ) I requested to refund but it was denied.
Ordered pills immediately confirmed immediately said shipped but 6 days later still says,package,waiting for carrier s9 its not shipped at all total crap can't cancel cuz they say it's shipped want a refund the company is iherb have horrible ratings had I noticed before would never have dealt with them
I have ordered some protein supplements on Dec 1, and now is Dec 16th and it has not arrived yet. CS refused to resend my order, refused to issue a refund. Every day I " chat" to a CS, they just asked me to wait for another day. It is so bad, I will NEVER ever buy from them again
