mother of the bride dress/would not accept return
On 12/14/16 I ordered a dress through jjshouse & received it on december 27, 2016. Read their return policy which states if you want to return it must be within 7 days of the receipt and you must contact them to obtain a return order form. Contacted them the next day, 12/28/16 and have been given nothing but the run around each time i've emailed them. They will give me 10% of the cost and I can keep the dress, they will give me 30% and I can purchase yet another dress, etc. The last thing I want is another dress from this incompetent company. The dress I received was in terrible shape, not the right color and the bra implants in the dress come underneath my chin, lying on my collar bone. How is someone to wear a dress like that ? I am out over $100.00 ! I am returning the dress and contacting my credit card company to try to recover the loss. My recommendation to anyone looking at this company, stop immediately and do not buy anything from them !
partial refund
I had a bad experience with JJsHouse. Purchased a dress from this website and paid the full price for it. While I was waiting for it to arrive it was put on sale and price was way cheaper.
I received the dress and it was too small, so I contacted JJsHouse and asked for a refund and they agreed. I sent the dress back and several day later got a refund. For some reason they did not refund the full amount that I paid. They refunded me the sale price! I contacted them again and they said that I already got a refund. I tried to explain that when I ordered price was different, but they didn't even listen! I will not buy from them again, they are cheaters!
bolero jacket
I bought four bolero jackets; two in size 10 and two in size 12. I normally wear a size 10 but was trying to make sure I got the right fit. Both sizes were too small and when I tried to send them back, I found there was no information on returning them. The jackets were priced cheap but I paid an arm and a leg for shipping. ( I was aware of that before ordering.
I will definitely post this info to my facebook so others won't be so taken advantage of.
So sad people dupe others like this.

I ordered a dress for my daughters wedding. I received thee dress and it did not fit. I could not even zip it up in the back. I contacted customer service to get a return ticket. They asked for pictures of me in the dress. My husband is traveling so how could I take pictures of my back and why would I want to show my bare back to a total stranger? I told them to send me a return ticket. They offered me 10% refund to keep the dress. Why would I want to keep a dress that does not fit? This is outright fraud and they should not be allowed to do online business in the U.S.!
They are refusing to allow me to return dresses ordered
I have gone to several bridal shops and tried on mother of the bride dresses. I wear a size 14 across the board. There for, I thought it was safe and I ordered 3 dresses for my daughters wedding in a size 14. I received them on 3/25/2016 and tried them on that night. The top fits however, when we tried to zipper them up there was a 2 inch gap in the back and the zipper wouldn't move. Clearly they are not a size 14. I communicated as per there customer service beginning on 03/26/2016 and was following there directions for return. After several emails back and forth and pictures of the dress that is a true 14 that fits me and there dresses there is a 1 inch difference on each side of the dresses. They are refusing to take them back for a refund. The last offer they sent me is a 30% discount coupon to purchase another dress from them and keep the product. Which I would never do. Or refund me 20% of the dresses and keep them anyway. I don't know what I am supposed to do with dresses that don't fit me. They could obviously resell them. There is nothing defective with the dresses. Just they won't fit and I can't use them.
I had the same experience and I want to shout from the highest building about how AWFUL this company is! I cannot believe I was scammed so bad! I just sat here and read tons of reviews about how AWFUL they are! Wish I would have looked closer before ordering! I'm sick!
This company is absolutely ridiculous! I ordered two dresses and simply did not like the way they looked in person. I immediately contacted them for a full refund and they insisted in me sending pictures. I refused of course because I was simply dissatisfied with the dresses. After six emails back and forth and a couple hang ups from the live chat crap, they offered me a stupid 10% refund or a 20% coupon on my next purchase.

I've ordered a dress from www.jjshouse.com and when it finally arrived it was extremely small! I immediately contacted customer service and asked for an exchange and they said ok. So I paid huge money for the return shipping and sent it back to them. Several weeks later my replacement arrived and when I opened the package I was shocked! Size was ok, but color was incorrect! What a joke! When I contacted them again they said no refunds! Stay far away from this place!

I've purchased two lovely dresses from JJhouse store. When my order finally arrived and I've opened the package I was extremely disappointed! My dresses looked like pure garbage! Quality was really poor and both dresses were super tiny! I emailed them about 5 times now asking for a refund, but no one ever answered! I doubt that I'll ever get my money back. It a shame that these scam companies are allowed to steal from people. Yes, I did receive something, but these pieces of junk are not worth even a penny!

About two months ago I've ordered a dress from this website and shipping was extremely slow and I did not receive it when I needed it. The worst part was that the color was absolutely wrong! When I emailed Jjhouse customer service they offered me a 20% discount on my next purchase, but I refused. I told them that I want a replacement or my money back. They finally agreed to refund me. So I paid for the return shipping and sent it back, but received nothing yet! They only thing they gave me was a 20% coupon, but I'll never order from them again! Total scam!

I ordered a dress from jjshouse about three weeks ago and when it finally arrived the size was incorrect and the dress was 2 inches shorter! I contacted customer service and provided some pictures of the dress and they offered me a 20% discount on my next order. I refused and demanded a full refund, and received no response. I am very disappointed with JJsHouse! At first I thought that JjsHouse is a professional online dress company with a well-designed website. I liked the website, because it was very easy to select the dresses and submit payment. When I finally received my oder I realized how horrible the dresses were. Material was cheap, sizes were wrong. Alll the dresses I recived were extremely small. They claim they are willing to accept returns, but there is no return policy on their website. Later I received a message from them. They told they would not accept the dresses back and would not give me a refund. Horrible company! Don’t buy anything from them!

I recently received a cute, well made dress. But the dress didn't fit, it was far too big. I gave them a waist measurement of 25", but the dress they gave me had a waist of over 29". I emailed JJsHouse asking for a replacement. I even sent them few pictures as a proof that shows that the dress I received has the wrong measurements. JJsHouse keeps telling me that there is nothing wrong with the dress and it fits me perfectly. After several hours of communication they have offered me 10% discount for my next order. I demanded a replacement, but was told that they can offer only a refund. But I was also told that shipping is at my expense, meaning I can pay $150 to return a $200 dress. What a “funny” joke! If they'll make a mistake they won't admit it. So, don't order anything from them.

I ordered from this website and received the product with taxes of 83 euros (France) and I didn't even know that it was an importation...It's not clear at all in their website. Besides, the shoes are made from glitter and it fits only for Carnaval, with very poor quality. The size doesn't fit and they did nothing about it. The worse thing was the dress. I had to buy another wedding dress one week before the wedding, when I accepted for myself that it was impossible to wear plastic tissue in my wedding day. The products doesn't correspond at all to their description and pictures. The result is that I expended too much with products that I wouldn't get even for free. As if that is not enough, their service is terrible, agressive and the simply don't refund the product, even though I had never used it (it gave me allergie just trying it!). They even doubted it...
terrible custom service and poor quality products
I wasted around 300 dollars with this company by receiving a wedding dress and shoes that did not correspond to their picture or description at all! The dress is synthetic and made of plastic tissue up to the shoulders and it even gave me allergie just trying it. The shoes are made from glitter and much more sparkling than the picture shows. Could be for a Carnaval party, only... but it was for my wedding day! I spent a terrible week before the wedding when I finally decided to buy another dress one week before it, when I realized I couldn't ear that in my wedding they. Any bride can imagine what a nightmare that can be... Besides, the product came with a terrible surprise! You discover, when the post office tells you, that you have to pay for importation taxes (83 euros!). As this is not enough, JJs House custom service couldn't be worse. They are agressive, don't refund, THEY HIDE THE BAD REVIEWS! They offered me to pay half of the taxes, and that's all. I'm still waiting for the refund of the products I wouldn't get even for free and all they do is giving me impolite answers and ask me to fix the missing button myself (oh! I forgot... there was a missing button too)... DON'T EVER BUY FROM THEM!

We are renewing our vows so I ordered a wedding dress from JJsHouse.com I liked the idea that they could customize the measurements for me and the prices seemed reasonable. I ordered priority shipping. I just received an UPS slip stating that I have to pay a BROKERAGE FEE COD of $86.20. I verified with UPS if this is a tax or tariff and they said no, it was a BROKERAGE FEE paid to a private entity. UPS couldn't deliver my package to me unless the BROKERAGE FEE was paid! With utter disappointment I declined the package. My dress was only $300 and it was a stretch for me to pay for that! I couldn't and wouldn't pay the $86.20 BROKERAGE FEE. I contacted the company and they are offering to pay for a PORTION OF IT! NO way! I am disupting the entire purchase with my credit card company. THIS IS A SCAM! This place ruined my plans for our wedding renewal vows because I didn't get my dress. I am sad, upset and I am disgusted...
Tip for consumers: Ask in advance in writing if they are collecting a brokerage fee of any kind. Do not fall for the brokerage fee scam!

I wish I had known about this website before I purchased a dress at jjshouse.com. I searched the web for negative reviews for this company and couldn't find any so I thought they must be a good company to work with. I was wrong. First of all, the dress I ordered looks absolutely nothing like the picture. The "jewels" on the front are actually very cheap-looking sequins. I put in my measurements and got a "custom" dress that absolutely does not fit. The straps are far too long, the bodice is too long and loose and it bunches in the back.
As soon as I received the dress I knew I'd made a mistake. First of all, I found out the dresses come from China. First red flag. UPS charged me a $42 "brokerage fee" just to get the dress. This was on top of the shipping fee I already paid. Then I opened the package and saw the very poor quality of the material and craftsmanship. And then I tried it on. There aren't words for how disappointed and angry I was. As per jjshouse's refund policy, I notified them the day I received the dress that I would be needing to return it for a full refund. I was told that because the dresses are made to order, they can't be returned. I told to have the dress altered by a local seamstress and I was offered a 15% refund which I accepted. It was not even slightly enough to cover the cost of alterations. My seamstress said that the dress was so poorly made it would need to be completely take apart and put back together and it would cost at least $200 in alterations to make the dress wearable. My refund was a measly $24.
Do not to business with this company. It is a bait and switch scheme.
not refunding money upon return of item purchased
Looked for a dress for an Army Ball, I am 54 years old. Fell in love with a dress I saw on this JJsHouse site. It was featured ONLY in one color, cream, but was offered in 12 or more other colors but they had NO pictures of the said dress in the other colors. From the picture it looked like the whole dress was one solid color. I ordered it at night in a "Jade" color but switched it the following morning to black, which they accommodated. When the dress arrived and I opened it up I was absolutely appalled at the top of the dress. It was in a bright gold beading, making the dress look very cheap. In the picture on their site, you cannot tell that the beading was a bright gold, it actually looks like cream sparkles, but the dress looked like one solid color. The dress i got would look good on a 15 yr old going to a Jr prom. I immediately emailed the customer service, telling them how horrified I was and wanted to return it for a full refund as they had no pictures showing the dress in other colors. 5 emails later they came to a conclusion that they would only give 15% of my money back so "I might as well keep it" ...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! This is not how a business should conduct themselves. Macy's, Nordstrom, Dillard's, etc. would have taken it back in a heartbeat with a full refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! Awful exchange with their customer service Dept...they have no idea how to properly deal with a customer and do the right thing. I will tell everyone the experience I had a the name JJs House will remain forever stale in my mind!
unable to get refund
I ordered dress for my friend’s wedding from the website www.jjhouse.com. I placed the order in advance, but 2 weeks before the wedding, the seller suddenly informed me that my dress was out of stock. Ok, I asked for refund, but the seller started to tell me diddle-daddle. I waited for refund 40 days, but the seller still hadn’t returned money. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?

As was previously stated in other complaints, jj's house do not want to accept returns. The sizing are not correct. They are off. I order 2 dresses and a size larger than I normally wear and it was still too small. They tell you that if it is a customized dress, then you cannot return it, but my dresses were not customized, they were regular sizes that we used in the U.S. Now that I asked to returned them, I get the same thing everyone else is getting. We cannot sell the dresses because they are custom fitted. I thought custom fitting was when you give your measurements and they make them from that. I too will be contacting my credit card company on this matter. The dresses are beautiful, but if they want to stay in business, they better learn to how to treat their customers. Their customer service is terrible, how is it that you cannot talk to anyone, but you have to emailed them and then they respond back to you within 24 hours. That is bad customer service and I will get my money back from these dresses.

will not accept returns
After checking the return policy, I ordered my daughter 2 prom dresses from JJ's House, along with another from another company knowing I would return 2 of them. JJ's House stated a 7 day return policy. Immediately I knew these dresses (fit funny) were going back so I started the "return process" which starts with requesting a return ticket. You must answer many questions, submit photos, etc. and then they give every reason in the book not to accept the return. "In your country you can return for no reason, in ours you cannot, " was the answer I received. Luckily Paypal contacted them and refunded my $300.00. Stay away from any China companies- the website does not say they are in China but I will find out before I ever order anything again. Do NOT use JJ's House.

Return policy
My daughter was late in deciding to get a dress and go to the prom. We crossed our fingers that a stock size dress would fit and ordered from jjshouse.com the dress was of a high quality, but was 3 inches too small and unable to tailor. Since we did not order a custom dress made to her measurements, we felt that a return qualified for a refund. The company flat out refuses to take the dress back. And to add insult to injury, the website states that 40% of purchase price to offset tailoring, but their email to me offered 10%! Do not order from this company unless you are ok with not returning the item under any circumstances.
