I found just answers while away for a dream meaning. I asked my question, a rep for them said they can answer my question for a $5 refundable charge. I said ok and entered my card information. As soon as I did my phone alerted me to the $5 charge and an additional $30 charge. I immediately told the rep that I did not agree with a $30 charge. Only then was I informed that just answers is a members only site and the $30 charge is for a membership fee. I immediately disputed the membership and membership fee only to be told that I had agreed to the payment and couldn't be refunded. I feel their rep intentionally led me to believe I would only be charged a $5 refundable fee. At no time before receiving the charges was I told of a membership or a membership fee. I emailed them several times and chatted with customer support. Both repeatedly sent me the same premade message stating they looked at my account and that I agreed to the membership fee. No one actually looked back at the conversation I had with their rep where I was told I'd be charged a refundable $5 fee and nothing was said about a membership. Nor did they say anything about the fact that I immediately disputed the charges. I feel I was intentionally mislead.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of $30.00
This has been resolved now. I saw the replies from a justanswer rep here. So I emailed one of the persons replying. Not a half hour later the $30 charge to my account is suddenly cancelled. When I was emailing earlier today before I filed complaints both here and with the BBB no one would help me and I was getting the runaround from every interaction. Justanswer uses bad business practices to get money from unsuspecting people looking for answers to questions. They are deceptive and imply a small charge and then take a large charge without informing you. Bait and switch. Bad business. I'll never take my complaint down even after getting a refund because of all the trouble I had getting said refund. Swindlers
