On the other hand, there were customers like Robert who expressed dissatisfaction with the service, feeling pressured to make additional purchases despite having warranties on their tires. Damage to Vehicle
I arrived at the above location for my appointment to rotate my tires. I canceled the rotation of tires after the following was observed: I watched your employee get into my Prowler with dirt, grease, and oil on his uniform's back, no effort was made to cover/protect my seat. I indicated on my appointment I would wait while the work was done. The employee...

On the 10th my tire fell off my car. Driving 50 mpr. Causing me to vere into incoming traffic. I spent three days trying to get it fixed on a very dangerous highway. So much so that I had a highway patrol direct traffic. I was finally able to move the car. Only to discover that there was more damage then just replacing the tire.
Brought it back to Les Schwab to see what other damages had occurred and was told by the shop mechanic that "the only way it was leaving was either on a tow truck or with new Wheels. After having a mental breakdown I remembered that they had sold and installed the tires on these wheels and was wondering why they didn't tell me that information when they put my tires on. Now they are refusing liability and pretty much saying that I need to tow my car out of here when it is unsafe to be on the road putting other people's lives in danger not too mention mine as well for the second time.
Claimed loss: 1 month pay, no transportation, stuck in a town without proper financial stability, and peace of mind.
Desired outcome: I need a safe working vehicle.

I purchased these tires on 11/29/23 after being installed right from the beginning I had an issue with them vibrating from the front passenger side. When I came back they rebalanced the tires, but I still had the same problem. When I came back the second they moved the tire to the rear of the truck (mind you every time I had to have something done, I had to...

Alignment broken bolt
Hello, On 1042023 I brought my car into Les Swab for a alignment, because I was told it was off by Les Swab after a flat tire fix. So after 2-3 hour wait almost closing time Les Swab told me my car was done. Then with the manger and mechanic brought me over and proceeded telling me that he broke a bolt off the rear alignment point that I was not to worry because there was 2 bolts and I didn't need two one was fine. I was completely worried my axle was going to fall off. Then they told me it's fine and they will give me a discount on my alignment and only charge me for the front. At this point I'm totally worried my wheel would fall off and I drive home with the wheel pulling to the left, every time I take my hands off the wheel. It was perfectly fine before bringing it to Les Swab. Now I'm having to make a new appointment with a Volvo mechanic to see the damage Les Swab has done and get a another alignment with a damage report. This was at Les Swab Beaverton SW Canyon rd. on [protected] Volvo S70 T5
Alignment bad-$114.99 reimbursement
Broken bolt fix 3 hours labor, axle disassembly and reassembly $360.00
Broken bolt removal, tap and die 1hr labor S120.00

Claimed loss: Alignment bad-$114.99 reimbursementBroken bolt fix 3 hours labor, axle disassembly and reassembly $360.00Broken bolt removal, tap and die 1hr labor S120.00bolt $58.00
Desired outcome: Fix Problem
I cant believe Les Swab would let me drive home with this bolt broken off, I trusted Les Swab.
I've bought new tires to see if the alignment would be better but still pulls to the left.
Why didn't Les swab test drive my car to check alignment. I'm totally scared to get in the car and drive it. It was my favorite car, not now! The alignment appointment will be quite some time from the Volvo dealer.

On October 24,2023 I took my car into my local Les Schwab dealer in Puyallup South Hill, Washington for a check on my brakes that had been replaced by them in April of 2021, work order [protected] that also included replacing 4 struts at a total cost of $1,664.86. The mileage on my car at that time was 137,724 miles. I currently have 143,437 miles on the...

Went into Les Schwab in Nampa Idaho to have my alignment done they really didn't address anything in my front end and told me that they couldn't do my alignment on my but on my back end but yet charged me $114.99 for the front alignment when I was already aligned in the front pretty much they made very tiny adjustment but when I got the readout and got home and I looked at it I noticed that my rear alignment was worse when I left then when I went in I want my money back
Claimed loss: 114.99
Desired outcome: Refund and response and apology
Not even a couple days before this I took it to Bigo and had the alignment checked on it which also your picture of it below there alignment machine didn't show my alignment as bad as What Les Schwab's did I think Les Schwab's machine is messed up
not completing new tire install
I was returning from a 2 1/2 week vacation and hit road debris that caused a flat tire on the rear right of a Lincoln Navigator. I was able to use the spare tire and replaced and went about 25 miles to Richfield Utah to the nearest Les Schwab. The staff and salesman were very courteous and quick to determine that a repair was not possible. I then purchased...

About 8 months ago I had set up an appointment to get an alignment done and new tires put on. Before my appointment I had brand new upper control arms and lower bearings put on my truck. I had my minivan in for new tires and breaks done on the 26 of August 2023. Now I go to drive to work 5 days later and have minimal breaking. I was told by the counter clerk lady that my front breaks WERE FINE but that I needed to consider getting REAR breaks soon. Along with new tires they also repaired a right tire rod that was causing irregular wear on the tires. WHY ARE MY BREAKS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY IF THEY PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER!?
Desired outcome: I need assurances that I can have this looked at and resolved WITHOUT paying for any additional REPAIRS!
Complaints about brake services
I told the man helping me that I need
New break shoes and he asked me
Well are your breaks making noise
I said no, and I don’t want them to! He
Told me that they would do the calipers and maybe turn the rotors. I said I don’t need new caliper’s and don’t need my rotors turned. I asked why he replied we
Do that just in case. I don’t need just in case! All I wanted was to leave les Schwab feeling good about my break shoes and got my request refused and got told to go somewhere else. I’ve bought
Expensive tires or had some kind of work done every year but I don’t know if I will ever go back. They wouldn’t give me just break shoes that might cost me more money if things start squeaking and that is a safety concern your guys are over selling parts to people they don’t need and that is dishonest!
A request caused by covid
Beginning of July I was two months past due. Yes it's because I couldn't make the payments. But have made it since.
I have not missed a payment on any bill in quit afew year's and was very upset when I couldn't.
The point is because of covid and one of my children got covid and had caused permanent damage, we have additional bills. Plus the increase of everything to maintain an household, things have been tight. So yes I was not able to pay for a couple of months.
I attempted to refinance my home to help our current situation and found out that when they sent to the credit companies it had docked me 50 points and caused us not to be able to refi. So I attempted and bagged the local les swabb here in Montana to ask if possible they can remove it from the credit companies, it was granted. Well I don't know why but I didn't think that was alot to ask? I have spent thousands of dollars there.
Since it was not done, I will have to finish paying off the credit line I have left on there and close my account and take my business elsewhere. I'm going to let friends and family know. I bet they will do the same.
Desired outcome: Don't know if there is one.
Service on my 2022 rv at the 650 location
Dear Sirs, 7/1/23
I am very disappointed in the service that we received at both the Brentwood Ca., and Oakley Ca. locations.
We wanted to keep our trailer safe, by having the manufactures recommended maintenance done on our 2022 RV trailer.
On 6/29/23, we paid $339.43 to pack the wheel bearings - 2wd disc/drum and new seals to be done prior to our 5-day July 4th trip, camping with all of our family.
On 6/30/23, 12:20pm the front tandem wheel was wabbling and smoking badly. We were stuck on hwy 160, in the dead of the heat for HOURS due to the shotty work completed the day before at the Brentwood Les Schwab.
We called the Brentwood location for help. We were told that employees called in sick, and the manager Jeff was out doing calls. We were told that there were 2 other calls before us, and these calls were just as important as ours. So, we had no choice but to wait.
My husband is 68 years old and has heart issues. The extreme heat was bad for his health. We were told that someone would get back to us. We waited almost an hour and decided to call the Oakley location. Well, someone was going to call us back from that location, but never did.
I called my AAA roadside assistant. Unfortunately, they could not help either, because there was not a Light Duty Car Carrier avalible in the Rio Vista area for us.
We finally contacted a friend who advised us to call Arrowhead Towing, Antioch. They were able to accommodate us. Mind you, now we are into 2.5 hours of sitting on the highway in 101-degree weather.
We sat in our truck with the AC on but even the truck started to overheat.
We contacted the Brentwood location to advise that we found someone to tow us back to their shop, but it would be very costly. It's funny, within 1 minute of my call to Brentwood, Jeff (the service manager) called me to say that we needed to give them a chance to come out and fix it.
I made it very clear to Jeff, that we gave them more than 2 hours and they never obliged.
Once we arrived at the Brentwood location at 5:40pm, (on the flat bed of a diesel car carrier) it was evident that our RV wheels were a complete mess. Parts were falling off as it was backed into the bay. Please see the photos below. I have many more if needed.
At this point, we lost $435.00 for our camping costs, $17.00 bridge toll, $557.64 for towing, the cost for Les Schwab to pack the bearings and new seals, $339.43, not to mention the loss of time to celebrate birthdays and the 4th of July camping week that we will never get back.
I do expect to be reimbursed for all of the above.
By the way, Les Schwab in Brentwood will not even be able to locate a new axle and other parts needed to make the extreme repair, until Monday, July 3rd, 2023. And hopefully the parts can be located.
I am requesting that all 4 tires on our trailer be replaced, so they all ware evenly. At no charge, of course.
Last but not least, I want the entire trailer pre-inspected by a professional prior to us picking it up, as we are going cross country in it in August 2023.
If you have any questions, please contact me at [protected]
or my husband Bob as [protected].
If needed, we can request legal advice.
Regards, Karen Serkiz

Desired outcome: RV to be fixed properly, 4 new tires to be install so they all ware evenly, reimbursement of my lose included in my letter above.
Continental tires warranty
I spent $1200 on new tires for my Audi Q5. The tires came with a 60,000 mile warranty. 27,000 miles later (total mileage under 60k) 2 tires have blown sidewalls and all 4 tires are down to between 3/10-2/10 tread. The manager (Brian) insists the tire wear is uneven and is therefore due to a mechanical issue. In other words, no warranty coverage. I...

I have les schwab tires on my subaru outback. There was aslow leak in one and I took the car in to fix the leak. I was told that the sidewall was damaged because it had been driven on flat, I told them ir had never been flat. They then informed me that warranty only covered the damaged tire (44% wear) and that I would need to replace all 4 brcause it is all wheel drive. One tire for 44% off, three tires at full price. There warranty promise appears to say all tires that need replacement are covered.
Which is correct…all four tires under warranty or just one?
Desired outcome: Recognition that all four tires are discounted for wear not just the damaged one.
steering service on a jeep wrangler
on 5/23/23 I called the clackamas store and talked to some one named T
and wanted an estimate on repairing steering issues, I took the jeep to the store and left it.and was called by this technician named T or Tia or something. he said he drove it and it needed a new steering box at a cost of $800 and I authorized this repair.he said it would take one day. then I was told the part didnt come in, next I'm told the technician is sick and they dont have anyone to finish
the job.on tuesday 5/30/23 I'am told it was ready.thats when I get a bill for $1500.
to say the least I was pissed off I didnt authorize this amount and even if ths bill says I did when I called to check on it I was never told anythng about the extra
cost as I would not have authorizes it
I complain to the poor girl at the counter and someone came up and told me that was the price after some words he went back some where and came back and said he would take the labor off the extra work
Desired outcome: am very disappointed in this type business practice.you have just bought $1213.00 OF BAD ADVERTIZING
Broke my appointment
I am still angry about what happened yesterday at Les Schwab in Colville, WA. I had an appointment for 1:30 to have my snow tires changed to my all-season tires on my Jeep Cherokee. I work until 12:15 in and hurried to get to Colville in time for my appointment. I arrived a little after 1:00. I checked in with Dalles who took my key fob and told me my car would be taken in at my appointment time and it takes about an hour for the tire change. I went walking up town to shop.
Nearly an hour later I returned to Les Schwab. But my car hadn't moved from where I had parked it! My car should have been done but my snow tires were still on my car! I went inside asking why. One of the 3 men, Dalles, sitting behind the counter got up and went to the work area. He came back and told me they had skipped my car in the line-up and took the next car. He said it was an "accident" and he was sorry. He said they'd get my car in as soon as a bay was available. I said that didn't help me at all. I drive long hard miles to get to Colville. 130 miles round trip from home. I got angry and said I work 6 days a week I don't have time. My car should be done now and I should be going home. I said I was leaving and would go somewhere else for tires. He got resentful and told me "I said I was sorry." "I said it was an accident."
No! Not good enough. I know a non-apology apology when I hear it. I didn't just have an appointment with Les Schwab, Les Schwab had an appointment with me! Was no one watching the appointment calendar with appointments scheduled an hour apart? How could they take a car ahead of mine that wasn't scheduled until 2:30?
Les Schwab in effect broke my appointment and wasted my time and caused me to drive many needless miles. And that cost me. Les Schwab owes me $153.40 for the gas mileage on my car for the 260 miles round trip I had to drive for nothing.
I have been a loyal Les Schwab customer for 36 years. I currently have nearly $6,000 in Les Schwab tires on my vehicles. But on Sat. May 6th I was treated badly. Because of the way I was treated and the terrible way they don't control their appointments, I will no longer go to Les Schwab for my tires or any other work on my vehicles, like the alignment I had just scheduled.
Les Schwab the people you have running the front counter are not like the people I've been used to all these years. They are not good at customer service. Cindy, you've always been the best to me, and a big part of the reason I came back. But because of the men who were on the counter this past Sat. I am no longer a Les Schwab customer.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement of $153.40 for needless mileage.
Price of a tire
On Sunday in April 2023 I was towing my Harbor Freight fold up utility trailer to Les Schwab tires in Bend Oregon to Purchase a spare 12 inch tire as I wanted to use it as a spare. Enroute one of the tires was destroyed so I removed the other tire and chained the trailer to a tree. Went back to Christmas Valley (55 miles) and ordered a tire with rim from Amazon. It costs $77 and arrive three days later.
On Monday I drove the Les Schwab with the destroyed tire and Les Schwab install a new 12 inch tire on my rim. They charged me $96.98. I believe this is price gouging. I am 82 years of age and have been their customer for more than 35 years having an RV that required both batteries and tires over the years. Because of their green I will NEVER purchase anything from them in the future.
There is no excuse for their greed. I want to warn potential customers to shop around. You will save money and not be insulted as I was.
Desired outcome: A little less greed in their pricing
Service
I simply have no idea why anyone would want to do business with this tire outfit! They are a complete joke! They railroad you into tire deals not giving you all the facts. Then they keep your money. Absolutely nothing is refundable with them. I left a deposit for some tires And I wasn’t able to meet the appointment and go to the store. They told me sorry too bad so sad sucks to be you you’re not getting your $75 back! What kind of company does this? then I called corporate and the idiot that I spoke to said that all financial decisions are basically made at the managerial level at the store? Are you kidding me ? This guy was full of crap and all he was doing was patronizing me and wasting my time for the record. I was never told that the $75 was nonrefundable either way you can’t hold someone to a signature especially if the facts were misrepresented. As stated, I was never told informed or anything that the money was nonrefundable. Less Schwab refuses to give me my deposit back. This is totally an unfair Business policy / business model! It is complete BS. I will never do business with this company ever again, and I strongly strongly encourage everyone else to do the same. They’re a bunch of crooks all they care about is money they don’t care about their customers. For example, you can return anything at Walmart They will give you your money back. That’s a good business model because I will always do business with Walmart. However, I will never ever again do business with Les schwab
Desired outcome: Give my $75 back
Manager from the store just called me got my money back good for less Schwab! However, why should anybody have to go through this BS I should’ve just got a refund right off the bat. Besides, I was taking my vehicle to another les schwab corp tire outlet.
Customer Service
I purchased snow shoes two days ago, didn't use them, and am now being refused a return despite them being sealed and I have the original receipt. I don't have the money to wait a month for a return?! This doesn't make any sense at all. Horrible way to do business. I am willing to bet they're about to try and charge me some exorbitant fee to check this flat I came in with.
Desired outcome: Refund in full, free flat fix. Never coming back.
