Mathis Brothers Furniture Damage items

I have received a damaged ottoman and then at another delivery received a console that had a damaged door. Customer service ordered a new door and when the delivery guys arrived to fix the damaged door, the wrong door was ordered so had to make another service report. Also I have found 2 at least so far mathematical errors to my account. Not once has anyone called to apologize. So every time there is an error on Mathis Brothers part I have to take a day out of my schedule to accommodate delivery and it doesn’t seem to bother anyone at Mathis Brothers! Poorly run company

Mathis Brothers Furniture Regret ever walking into Mathis Brothers!

Purchased a mattress on 2/27 and paid for everything, I was told, I needed. Walked out spending $2600, paid all cash and believed I had 30 days to return, if there were any issues or things weren't working out. . Delivery came 3/10. Within 6 days, it was determined the mattress wasn't going to work for us.

I've tried to reach my salesman at the store, they do not answer phones. I've emailed him and I have texted his personal cell, to which he has not replied. I can't even get any other stores to answer their phone.

So, it's true the customer service is one of the worst, for such a well known company. I am only left to assume I am being delayed, so everyone gets their commission payouts and my "allowable" return window has expired.

Given the chance, I would request a full refund and go elsewhere. Customer Service before, during, and after MATTERS!

Desired outcome: I want to replace my bed for a more comfortable bed.

Same experience with customer service! So frustrated and the lack of curtesy is unbelievable! They have dropped the ball so many times and instead of apologizing and owning up to it they act as if THEY are put out due to their errors and talk so disrespectful to customers! I will never do business with them again!

Mathis Brothers Furniture Sofa - BHT-6268LBO

I purchased two sofas on Nov 12, 2021, on 20% off and delivery was mid-December (Ontario CA location). After few days, I asked to my salesperson (Anthony) that, when our sofas will be delivered? The Anthony checked it and said your original order is not in our system, somebody cancelled/deleted/changed, and those sofas are sold to someone else. My wife immediately went to store and talked to supervisor/manager (Ashley), my wife was explaining her, but she was not listening anything and said your order is "SPECIAL ORDER" and is on regular price and will be delivered in 6 months. My wife repeatedly showing our original order but dishonesty towards my wife in her face...
Ashley did not want to release information on regards to who cancelled/deleted or changed our original order by same date and same order number and how did we lose our merchandise to someone's... and now Manager does not want to honor the price on the furniture that we purchased or relocate my order back to its original... I requested to my salesperson (Anthony) that, what is in your system now; he sent me order, when I saw that order, I got surprised…. someone changed my order in backdate (in my original purchased date), with same date, same order number as my original order, and another salesperson was added "Wilson" … also, our order is changed to "SPECIAL ORDER" with JUST ONE SOFA on "REGULAR PRICE" and, they carried out our $710 deposit to special order….. They ruined our charismas plans the furniture was planned to come in mid-December….. Someone cancelled/deleted or changed our order and created new order in same original purchase date, possibly for commission……This is very unprofessional never would I imagine a company of this size will treat their customers like this...

Mathis Brothers Furniture Love seat and couch- customer service are liars!

I have nonstop been contacting your customer service since April over numerous complaints. They have half fixed problems and lied about "putting it in the notes and having a supervisor contact me". This is absurd! HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! Why on earth would your customer service representatives lie to your paying customers. I literally have spent almost $2k on a couch set and even purchased the 5 year warranty. It has been nothing but a run around game and lies. I want my money back or new couches. This is absolutely ridiculous and not at all how to conduct business.

Purchased a bed frame about a year ago and purchased the Mathis membership so I could have it delivered and put together. Over time the screws keep falling out. I took the mattress off to check the frame only to see all screws were poorly screwed in and some areas are missing screws. There is even a crack in part if the frame where the screws are. Not acceptable. Frame need to be replaced or fixed.

Mathis Brothers Furniture Product and no help

I purchased a sofa and love seat in 2019. I had to replace the live seat a month later. Now I have a hole on the seat and the insurance I bought refuses to do anything. I contacted Mathis and their customer service is just as bad. They are terrible at listening to your complaint, and talk over you every chance they get. The seat cushions on both items have given out in one area on each as well. Still no one does anything. I tried to reach corporate, but that doesn't work either. What do I do?

Mathis Brothers Furniture Sales order 53a215416

We purchased $2374.78 of furniture, which the loveseat was not in stock. ( 6 weeks out), they charged me a $99.00 rewards, which I didn't know at the time. We went back the next weekend, purchased a rug. They said the rewards was only for furniture. This weekend we purchase a table and chairs, they said we didn't have any rewards at first. Finally found the correct account, then said it was only good after thirty days of the first purchase.
First of all I didn't agree to the $99.00 ( I don't purchase extended warranty's, etc anymore. Waste of $. I don't know about your other customers, but I don't buy furniture every month. So I will never spend the rewards that I was charged for especially the way you handle it. Therefore, I would like my money back on that. Also, dont understand why you can't sell the floor model if thats all you have.. Contemplating getting my money back on the loveseat, six weeks is a long time.

I purchased a $3000 + sectional I am a single mom. The material has a [censored]ling feel and has given me and grandchildren irritation to skin, I can't sit on my sofa or use it with guests for the same reason that it gives them allergic reaction. Irvine office was rude and not willing to help I want it replaced or fixed this is not right.

Mathis Brothers Furniture 9 months and waiting

As newlyweds we were thrilled to purchase our first couch. We have been waiting 9 months with ZERO communication from Mathis brothers. No one will return my calls and Alex the Irvine store manager is ignoring me. I want a refund and to cancel the order. This is crazy. Do not order from Mathis brothers. Please contact me!

Mathis Brothers Furniture Motorized platform bed

I purchased the platform on 6/12/21 with a guarantee that the service repair through Mathis Brothers was available in my area. On 6/21/21, the product was delivered and was wonderful!

Approximately 2 weeks later, the product stopped working. We reported this to Mathis Brothers and were told that a service representative would come. After not hearing back for several weeks, we reached back out to Mathis brothers and were then told that we were out of the service area. We were given the information of who to reach out to, we did that and were informed that they do not repair them.

We have called several times since then (at least 3) trying to get help. No one will assume responsibility to fix the platform, exchange the platform for a functioning one, or return the platform. Additionally, we do not receive calls back after we place requests, even when we are told we will hear back. Yet, we are still required to make payments on our non-functioning product in the meantime.

We feel swindled out of $6, 500. We feel lied to over and over. We have no more faith in Mathis Brothers or the ethics by which the company is run. We feel tricked and unheard.

We want our money back. Please take this request seriously.

Mathis Brothers Furniture Non-working power recliner

Motorized recliner stopped working in April 2021. Service company came out 2-3 weeks later and said we needed a new motor and control panel. We have called Mathis Brothers repeatedly for updates and have been told they are waiting for parts. 3 months now with non-working recliner. This is on top of having to wait over 6 months for delivery of the matching sofa. This is not the first service call for non-working recliner which we bought 2 in July 2020. I have called repeatedly, talked to supervisors and managers and no action still. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else for furniture !

I bought a whole dining room matching set on 4/6/21 It took a while to get the table chairs and bench. I hadn't used any of the dining room furniture until after May 25th because that's the day I received the table top. A couple days ago someone got a drop of something on the fabric of the bench and I used a mild soap and water and it came out immediately...

Sorry if this is the wrong place to complain but no one is doing anything at all and seems to be the normal as to how your company is run ... my grandson has been working in the ware house for at least 6-7 weeks and has not recived a paycheck 1 from your company the route number was messed up on first go around and HR said they fixed it and they would issue a paper check when returned well so here we are 2 weeks later issue is not fixed still waiting on the other paycheck and no one in HR fixed the issue so guess what no check again now the way I see it is 1 poor HR department handling 2 miss treatment of employee 3 holding money owed 4 if he was overpaid you would make sure you got your money back ...
Now how the saying goes I have friends I'm telling all my friends of this matter and to NOT purchase anything from your company.. I have at least10 friends well my friends have at least ten friends and so on looking to hire a lawyer for him cause this is very very shading business practice...

Mathis Brothers Furniture Bait & switch deceptive practices. Breach of contract.

Purchased two recliners at Irvine, California, store. Salesman said the two models purchased had been reserved for us at their Ontario, California, warehouse for delivery on April 29, 2021.

Yesterday, April 27, 2021, the warehouse called to advise that the two recliners that had been promised for delivery on April 29, 2021, had been shipped to another buyer. Our recliners would be delivered on June 9, 2021.

We spoke to our salesman and he said he could not explain how our "reserved" recliners had been sold and shipped. "The good news" is one recliner is still available & we could buy the "floor model" at a whopping discount of 10%.

This appears to be a "bait & switch" type of deal, typically "bait *& switch" occurs before the purchase. Mathis Brothers has taken the "bait & switch" to a new level, after the consumer has signed the contract. That adds "breach of contract.

"Bait & switch is unethical & illegal in many states. Breach of contract brings Mathis Brothers to brand new level of consumer fraud.

My advice, do not buy from Mathis Brothers.

Desired outcome: We are elderly & we had already given away our sofa, so we accepted delivery of the brand new recliners instead of accepting the used floor model with a 10% discount.

Mathis Brothers Furniture Mattress

Hi, i am writing this email so whoever call me know the whole situation.
I bought a king size bed and king size mattress from Ashley on Memorial road, when furniture was delivered we found out mattress is small so you guys sent another mattress which was also small as you will see in first two pictures I will attach, than they told me to get another bed or switch the same bed so to be on the safe side I get another bed and paid $500 difference but same problem as you will see in the pictures gap is so big that my 6 years old son can get his leg inside which makes it very hazardous and unsafe environment for my son and looks ugly. Gap is on both foot rail side and also on the side mattress is smaller than regular king size dimensions.
I am not asking for refund or anything as I need a mattress I still have time left on my 60 day trial thing but I don't want to pay $199 to replace my mattress as I already paid $500 extra for bed and it's not my fault. Please involve a manager or supervisor and call me ASAP please.
I am attaching pics with first with my old bed and than with my new bed where you can see my son with his leg in the gap. I called mattress service and the most rudest lady answer the phone and bluntly told me these mattress are small so if you want to change pay up. Very disappointed. It is very risky and accident waiting to happen as you can see in photos.

Mathis Brothers Furniture Missing parts

Purchased POWER LOVER SEAT recived three weeks later i picked up got home put together and no ac adapter to be found. So I cant plug it in no recliner no power. I called the next morning and was told I would be contacted about it. Well i waited 2 days called back like starting over. Well three weeks later and 4 different contacts still no Power! No one ever calls back they dont care the 0manager wont even call me back Im felling robbed bout to reach out to news or whi ever will listen because Mathis does not listen or care Mathis bros stole my money as far as im concerend we will see how long this takes.
