sales manager/ customer service/ mattress/furniture set up
I paid cash for 3 queen bedroom set + 3 mattress set. I was out of town when delivery and set up took place was missing 1 nightstand and no headboard and footboard was not in stock for 3wks so I want to Morrs got it in 2days. I paid for my sister extra nightstand too for her bedroom set. 1 of the mattress set was defective that's what your technician reported. After going back in forth wiht Mathis Brother of Ontario, California . I told them no you need to take the full set back not just the mattress because I brought it as a set not a mix match set. After all that time that went by I had the bed removed from my home because it was bad on my back. Then I had my daughter go pick out and pay the difference on a mattress set and set a date for delivery. My daughter missed work to be there and got a last minute consolation. We got another date and when the delivery guys came they said can't take it because the mattress was soiled which was a lie. My daughter drove 40min to your store after being hung up on twice. She showed me the sales manager the picture's of the mattress and he said oh it's because of the little dirt and a small snag from putting in and getting out of storage to give back to the store. When my headboard and footboard to one of the bedroom sets was not at your store and at my home like it was promised and your sales person Mr
Sew said to me "Well you just have to wait or you can bring it back . I should of had Mathis Brother come pick everything back up knowing What I know and being treated like this.
horrible customer service
I wish I had seen this site before spending almost $18k in furniture for our new house. Products are good and at a good price BUT the delivery process is absolutely unacceptable. 9 delivery trucks later (and days taken off work) we still don't have all of our furniture. Twice the merchandise was damaged and we had to refuse it and schedule another delivery. Salesman says one thing, delivery guys something else, and customer service people something else all together. I am sitting here waiting on another truck. Customer service manager assured us that we would be first on the list for this day (so I could get back to work). No phone call, no truck as of yet. My advice? GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
Warranty claim on mattress
On March 9, 2017 I received a phone call from Sean Patterson reporting that he had never received my warranty paperwork or the photos of my mattress, even though I had hand carried all of this into the customer service center. Sean requested that I send him photos of the warranty paperwork and the mattress photos to her personnel cell phone [protected]). I sent all the requested information to Sean on March 14, 2017 at 3:33 p.m. On March 22nd at 8:38 a.m. I received a text from Sean Patterson reporting that my mattress qualifies for a warranty claim. In the text it also stated that the mattress would be repaired. I sent a response text on March 22, 2017 at 10:02 am to Sean Patterson’s number at [protected] on a follow-up question. When this claim first started I was told by a sales representative at the Mathis Brother’s warehouse which use to be Factory Direct where our mattress was originally purchased, if our mattress met all the qualifications for the warranty that the mattress would be replaced due to the defects in our mattress not fixed. I have never received an answer to my text message, so I am emailing my question and concerning hoping that I will be able to finally get an answer. I first started this claim February 3, 2017. I took 5 weeks to ever get a response about my claim and I finally received a answer that our mattress met the warranty claim, but have yet to get an answer about my question. I have done shopping for my household with Mathis Brothers and was planning to continue to do all my purchasing with Mathis Brothers. This delay in communication is making me second guess my decision to continue doing business with your company or to recommend your company to anyone else. I look forward to receiving an answer soon. I am also sending my email to the Mathis Brother’s complaint department.
I bought a bedroom set and the mattress has been the most uncomfortable one to sleep on in my entire life. Shortly after buying it I called to file a claim and was told there was nothing wrong with it. Each night we dread to sleep because we know how uncomfortable it is to sleep on it.
customer service
I went into Mathis Brothers today to pick up a zoo pass. I am greeted at the door as always with all of the sales man. I will admit I looked rough. I was in a t-shirt, sweat pants, hair in a pony tail, and no make up. I had been helping my mom all day and she offered to ride with me so I could get the zoo pass and she would stay in the car with kids. I have 2 under the age two and a nine year. Anytime you have a sitter, you take the offer. One young, skinny, short guy with dark spiky hair (with little man syndrome) walks up and says, "Let me guess, you are here to get a zoo pass." I didn't think much about it and said yes. As I am walking buy a short, sandy blond hair with glasses, and chubby (obviously the nerdy follower) starts dying laughing and said I can't believe you just asked her like that. I have never been laughed at in my face by a sales person. I will tell you that makes you feel pretty low. I tried to get there names but of course they disappeared. I made a complaint with a manager, who defended them and said about 90% of the people walking in right now are for the zoo pass and he apologizes. They lost my business and it is to bad because I buy furniture there and we were about to buy a new bedroom set.
Service manager

They would not release the furniture for delivery, even though I had already paid for it
I am an American living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. During a visit to my brother in Indio, California last September, we went to look at furniture at the Mathis Brothers store there. We found the exact sofa and chairs for our living room that would be perfect. We fell in love with the pieces. After returning to San Miguel I noticed on the internet that they had a store in Oklahoma City. I checked with a local transportation company here in San Miguel to see if it would be cost effective and possible to have them pick the furniture up and deliver it to San Miguel. It was. On May 13, 2016 I called Mathis Brothers and ordered the furniture through there sale rep., Natalie, and paid for it with my Amex platinum card. The card was charged the same day. I received confirmation of the order ( order #[protected]) and the payment from Natalie the same day. On March 21, 2016 I sent a copy of the Bill of Lading from the transportation company to Natalie and indicated they would be picking the furniture up at or about April 26, 2016. She responded back indicating no problem, they would be ready. On April 5, 2016 Natalie emailed saying the order was ready for pick up. On April 16, 2016 I emailed Natalie saying my transport company would be picking the order up on April 20 or 21. She responded no problem, they would be ready. On April 21, 2016 Natalie called me to confirm when the driver would be arriving and I told her at about 12:00 noon. She asked that I give the driver her direct number to contact her in advance of his arrival so she could make sure the pick up went smoothly. I contacted the owner of the transport company and he gave this information to the driver.
This is where things began to unravel. The driver attempt to contact Natalie but only got her voice mail and left a message as to his time of arrival. About 12:00 noon on the 21st I was called by the owner of the transport company telling me that when the drive arrived, the manager at the distribution center, Shawn, told the driver he would not release the order today due certain paperwork issues. This did not seem right since they had all the paperwork for weeks and I had receive numerous confirmations from Natalie that the order was ready. Also, this was a major issue for me because the driver had other pick ups in other parts of the country and could not wait till tomorrow. I called Natalie and after about a half an hour was able to talk to her and she said she would due what she could to help. With continued attempts by to driver and myself to persuade Shawn to release the order to no avail, the driver had to leave after 4 hours of waiting . I continued to call to find out the details. At about 5:00 p.m. I was able to finally contact Natalie and suddenly she was unwilling to discuss the issues with me and forwarded me to her boss, Mr. Watkins. Mr. Watkins, as it turned out, was Shawn, the person who refused to release the order. I talked with Shawn who now told me he would not release the order because he believed it was a fraudulent shipment due suspect phone numbers and he was going to cancel the order. The only number they had was my MagicJack number which is a VOIP number for the U.S. which I used so Natalie would not have to call my local San Miguel number which would make it easier for both of us to communicate. Neither she nor Shawn ever asked for my local San Miguel number.
I am angry and livid that this one person, Shawn, accused me of perpetrating a fraudulent order, denying me the furniture that I had already bought and paid for and has caused me to incur hundreds of dollars in cost to the shipping company who arrived to pick up an order that he would not release. His accusation is an attack on my character and integrity.
I am seeking recovery of the hundreds of dollars of out of pocket costs to the transport company. I am also seeking release of the furniture with delivery to be at the expense of Mathis Brothers.
I fled this report and agree with its contents
Goods not recieved
Ordered complete dining room table and 12 chairs, hutch, ottoman and matching chair. We paid $800.00 dollars to have goods shipped to Blaine Washington (as we live in Canada). Went to pickup goods, came through customs with paperwork paid duty on goods only to find out once home that there were 2 chairs missing. Paperwork from store showed 12 chairs being shipped (found original freight company paper work that only had 10 marked as being picked up). Have called store 6 times to get issue resolved and have been told by everyone that things were being looked after. As of today and another phone call nothing has been resolved.

Failure to deliver
Mathis Bros is the worst furniture buying experience I have ever had. A bedroom set that was ordered and paid for was never actually ever made. Delivery dates came and went. The store continued to pretend the furniture was coming when they knew it was never made (final confession by the sales person when I canceled my order). That confession also revealed a well known issue with the furniture maker regarding their lack of response to orders. It was totally dishonest of them to knowingly promise me delivery of furniture without disclosing the possible delay in delivery, and completely dishonest of them to give me a 2nd delivery date that said I would have my furniture when they knew all along that the furniture was not being delivered. Weeks and months were wasted in dealing with this company, something that will never happen again with me. I urge anyone reading this to run as fast as you can away from Mathis Bros. You'll be grateful you did.
Poor customer service - delivery
Back in August my wife and I decided to use Mathis Brothers to furnish our new house. We had a great salesman, Chris Gibson (who is no longer there), and after spending several hours and over $11, 000 we had picked out furniture for our dining room, living room, master bedroom and 7 barstools for our bar and island.
When coordinating our delivery date, we were informed that the truck would only deliver on Tuesdays to our location. This was an inconvenience as we would have to be off work to be there on a weekday. Before the day of delivery, I was contacted by sales manager Lou Robinson [protected] and informed that the mirror to the dresser/mirror we had chose turned out to be cracked and that they would have to order a new one from California and that it would not be in for several weeks.
On the delivery day, all items were delivered except for the backordered barstools and the mirror. The barstools came about a month later again only on Tuesday so that we had to miss another day of work.
I contacted Lou Robinson again and had a delivery scheduled for Jan.19, a Tuesday that I would be home for. Well, apparently Lou had written down the wrong date and I was left waiting for furniture that never arrived. Now it’s March and our furniture still has not been delivered.
I have called the customer service manager Don Easley [protected] and explained the situation to him and nothing has been done. I have asked to speak with the store manager Danny Minnick and he will not return my calls.
Approximately 7 months and they still have not delivered my furniture! They absolutely have no concept of customer service or the knowledge of how a business should be run. I will never buy anything there again and I promise to tell all my friends how terrible they are.
BUYER BEWARE!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Dear Sir, my name is Danny Minnick I am the Oklahoma City Store Mgr. please contact me at [protected] and I will address this issue, I want to apologize that we have not responded back to you and I want to address this myself. Have a great blessed day.
Missing Parts/Poor Customer Service
We recently purchased a China Hutch, Curio Cabinet, and a Sofa from Mathis Brothers on 2/7/10. When they delivered the items on 2/10/10, the shelf pegs were missing for the glass shelves in the china hutch. I called them that evening and was told to call back the next day as customer service was closed.
I called the morning of 2/11/10 and was told the pegs would go out in the mail to me that day. By Tuesday 2/16/10 we still had not received them so I called again. I was told that they had to come from the factory and they were sent out on Saturday 2/13.
On Thursday 2/18 we still didn't have them so I called again, only to hear that they were shipping to Mathis Brothers, not me. And I was given yet another excuse as to why I still couldn't put my dining room back together.
I asked for the pegs from the one on display since I had already waited this long and was told they couldn't do that. After complaining and telling the guy that I was tempted to have them come pick up every piece we bought, he said he would check and call me back. No call came.
So today, 2/23/10, my husband calls and gets the same excuses. Only now they are saying that they won't give us the pegs from the display because supposedly our pegs are only 2 days out and the merchandiser can't justify it. Ok, excuse me, but I have been inconvenienced for 2 weeks now and they are worried about a couple of days? They have had my money for over 2 weeks and I don't have what I paid for.
My husband and I are probably going to call them within the hour and tell them to just come get everything. I will go anywhere else in the world, but will not step foot through their door ever again. And since they own Factory Direct, we will not be shopping there either.

Still waiting for delivery of Sofa 2 weeks now
I Bought a new sofa, love seat and ottoman at Mathis Brothers a over a week ago, said it was in stock and I would receive it last Weds. When delivery showed up, the only thing they had was the love seat and ottoman. Said the sofa was on back order. Said it would be delivered by Next Weds at the latest. Now today Weds the following week, I called to make sure the sofa was on it's way, they tell me now it will be next week for delivery because the trucks have already left for the day and we were not on the schedule for any delivery today. I told them I want my sofa today even if they had to carry it here them selves.
He called me back a little while later said it will be here tomorrow. I will let you all know if it doesn't show up again tomorrow.
I am so Pissed! I got rid of all my old furniture so now all we have is the love seat to everyone to sit on.
Won't do business with them ever again.

worst customer service ever
My Husband and I were moving into a new home and decided to buy alomst an entire housefull of furniture. We went to Mathis Brothers and while shopping for new mattress encountered a salesman by the name of TY. Ty was very nice and assured us that they were happy to have our business and that if we were not happy they would do everything that they could to...

About five weeks ago, I went to the store to buy a coffee table, end table, and entertainment unit that matched. Because all of the items were not on the floor and available, I had to order them. What I found out today--because it was a special order, all sales are final no matter what. Even if they do not match in color tone, I have to take delivery. Also, if I had taken the end table and coffee table from the floor stock and wanted to return them because the entertainment unit was not available, there is a 10% restocking fee that is not told up front.
Be very wary of the policy to order the furniture instead of waiting for it to be on the floor and available for inspection. Go to the the customer service area to look at the return policy before looking at any product in the store.

I purchased an item on March 3rd and realized it had been damaged by the delivery team who put it together just this week, 10 days later. I noticed a screw that attaches two wood pieces together came through the item onto the outside. It's on the side of the item so I didn't notice. I want to return the item but it's impossible. They advise I would have to have the same item repaired not replaced. Very poor customer service. I will not purchase from them again.
Damaged sofa due to improper tying to pickup truck
I bought a loveseat sofa, a recliner and a coffee table at the same day which was loaded and secured improperly by them to my pickup. I was just beginning to get to the freeway and the sofa came tumbling down ruining it. I went back to them and they said that I signed a waiver that they are not responsible for damages incurred after leaving the loading dock. They can not replace the sofa but offered only to repair it. What can I do now?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Have them repair it like they offered, your lucky to even get that from them. Like they said you did sign the waiver, from a legal stance they did tie it down, and you did sign the waiver, which most likely released all liability from them.
For anyone else who reads this, I would make sure your furniture is tied correctly before you sign the waiver.
bedroom furniture
I purchased two twin beds from mathis bros. When the delivery men arrived, they place the beds in the room, they were very rude and did not even attach the headboard to the frame. Also at the end of the bed are sharp edges and my children have scratched and bruised themselves numerous of time and I have also brused my let on the sharp metal edges. It is so terrible
I hired a interior decorator from Mathis Brothers that came to my house to help me decorate my house. She came once gave me some ideas but never returned my calls after. She didn't even help me when I went there to order more furniture. I ordered my formal living room from there that was very expensive and they will not return it for me for store credit. I don't even want my money back. All I want is store credit. It has been uncomfortable since the beginning and nobody is willing to help
Sounds like a bad delivery. I am puzzled though, did you call and notify anyone at the store and have it corrected?
Fraud and cheating
I bought a recliner/rocker in April. I did not get the right chair. I could not get back into the store until the 1st part of June. At that time I was told it was to late. I should have come in within 30 days.
This really is not right. I should have been given the right chair in the first place. I know you will not do anything but just wanted you to know that I do not think that is a good policy.
I think if someone is given the wrong thing it should be replaced as long as it is not torn up. Which mine still looks like it did the day I got it as I do not sit in it, as it is very uncomfortable.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Mathis Brothers has been posting my work phone number on their promotional ads and in the internet yellow pages. They can't seem to get this problem corrected and I am getting phone calls for them everyday. I have bought furniture from them and have been disappointed with the quality of the furniture. A coffee table I bought this year has a few ceramic tile pieces for decoration that came off the table as we were assembling it. I bought a bedroom suite from them about 6 years ago that has an issue with the drawers not pushing all the way in. I have 2 drawers on the 6 draw chest that will not completely push in.
Went in, picked out a great chair ..we paid for it right then..went back the next day with a larger vehicle to pick up my new chair and after waiting for quit some time..come to find out they had sold it...couldnt believe it! sold my chair i had paid for! yep! i was pissed..oh and get this..it was the last one and had been dicontinued.. they ofered to sell me the floor model for the same price...heck no, it kinda felt like a used piece of furniture..my sells ladie was super nice..but can you imagin how pissed she was missing out on her commision! id quit if i was her..made her look like an ***... good luck future shoppers!
Bought love seat and couch and had come in had them take it back twise each time they brought them they were broke.very last time they came okay but, the couch broke in the back and I did buy the extra protetion plan and so I called to get it replaced and they said it has already been one year, I thought it was good for 5? oh well I will NEVER buy any thing from there again since a couch will only last a year well ayear and 2 weeks! come on really ! what kind of people are to sell junk?
We had a defective mattress from one of MBF's stores, Rooms Today. Customer service directed us to Mathis Brothers and we began dealing with them. We were met with extreme hostility at all steps when trying to resolve the issue. A representative from the company came to our home and acknowledged that the mattress in question was indeed defective. We were advised to go to Mathis Brothers to choose a replacement mattress, as we were under warranty.
We went to MB and found the mattress that the salesperson stated was "identical" to the one we already had (it was the new model, but 3 salespersons have told us they are the exact same mattress, including the woman we originally bought it from, which is why we bought it). We then came back the next day to meet with the customer service department to complete the exchange details. The customer service representative (Joe) greeted us impolitely and did not get up from his desk to acknowledge us. We were told that we would have to pay $60 for the company to come pick up our DEFECTIVE mattress and bring our new mattress. We then were told that we would only receive store credit, which would not allow us to replace the mattress with one of equal quality because the price had gone up 30% in the FOUR months since we purchased the defective mattress. We were also told that we could not be refunded our money.
Because we could not believe that we were being asked to pay $360+ just because we had a defective product, we asked to speak to the manager (Tom), who met us at customer service. Tom approached us with a very combative attitude from the beginning and never showed any sign of listening to what we had to say. I cannot put into words (at least in polite company) how unthinkably offensive and disrespectful Tom acted toward us. We explained to him that there was a difference in returning the product (and getting store credit) versus having a warranty that should replace a defective product. He cut us off and said we would have to talk to another customer service person the following day (Justin Lewis). As he walked out the door, he stated, "you didn't even buy the mattress at this store!" While that is correct, the tone of the comment was that we were *** and/or cheap. We had been told that if we had any issues with our mattress, we could return it and have it replaced with another just like it. This absolutely was not the case.
The entire situation was clearly a bait-and-switch. We bought a defective product, we are not being given a replacement or one of equivalent quality, and are also not being given our money back.
A little over a year ago when we purchased a burgandy leather sofa & loveseat, they had only the loveseat on hand but said the sofa would be in within the next couple of weeks, which required a large deposit. When it came in the rep called to say I needed to pay the remainder of the balance even though we wouldn't be picking it up for 3 days. We came in that Saturday to pay and pick up and they had sold our order. I had words with the rep and manager(who was useless & rude). They actually wanted me to shop again and find something else I liked, yah right! Have you ever heard of someone putting a deposit down and having it soldout from under them like that? I later heard stories from others with the same complaint. Most be a common occurance with them.
I took my client into Ontario store. Within one hour we purchased approx. $10, 000 worth of furniture off the floor. We then saw two chairs on the floor for $2895.75 each that had been sold. My client wanted the exact chairs and was willing to wait for the "special order". We go downstairs, wait for the salesman to write up the order and invoices. My client pays $16, 530.00 cash for this order. This date is 02/01/10. Two weeks later I get a phone call from the salesman saying that there was a mistake on the two chairs order and we owe Mathis Bros. over $1200.00 more for them. Todays date is March 1, 2010 and I am still in shock that during this time I have spoken to several salesmen telling them I have never heard of such an incident in my 15 years of doing business. THEIR MISTAKE ! Today the manager L. G. told the salesman to call me and they would "go halves with my client" and ask him for another $641.00 ! This client has spent in approx. 3 hours total time over 2 trips to the store $30, 000.
We purchased a sectional from Mathis Brothers in Ontario on August 10, 2009. At the same time we special ordered a matching ottoman and pillows to go with the sectional. We were told 6 weeks for the special order and paid in full.
We called in October to find out what the status of the special order was and we were told the pillows were in, but not the ottoman. In December we were told the ottoman was in but not the pillows.
When I spoke with the sales manager, the sales associate would not longer call us back, he was rude and condescending. I was told that special orders take awhile. He also told me "well you only paid $239.00 for the sofa." Don't know where he got that information because we paid over 10 times that amount for the sectional.
Finally today January 23, 2010, over 6 months later our ottoman and pillows were delivered. I will never shop at Mathis Brothers again. We looked for a sectional for over 6 months and decided to buy from Mathis Brothers because of their "good name." Had I known I would have passed them by.
I disagree with the customer, the shouls have been able to take back or have switched out sooner than 60 days later. If Mathis would have put the chair back to stock then we would be reading their email about giving used furniture. It has to be a no when situation for them.
Mathis brothers attempts fraud
I bought a new office suite from the Mathis Brothers Store in Indio, on June 9th, 2008. They had 5 of the 7 pieces in stock, and promised the two remaining pieces by the end of the month. We got the 5 pieces home and upon unboxing them, discovered that 2 of them were damaged. We took the damaged goods back. June 25th, they call and say that 2 of the pieces are in, but they can no longer get the Main piece, (the desk), and they offer us the damaged desk that we returned, at a discount. I tell them NO, we want the NEW furniture that we paid for. July 3rd, they call, saying all pieces are in. When we get there, they try giving us the damaged desk that we returned, back to us. We refused it and they said that was the only one they had. We told them to cancel our entire order, and mysteriously they came up with a NEW, in-the- box desk. We Got it home, and when unboxed, discovered that it too had been dropped from a forklift, crushing a corner and breaking it off.
Mathis Brothers offered to have someone repair it. We refused. They told us they would order new, and put notes on the account, to insure only new, undamaged furniture would be delivered. July 10th. The truck got here and started to unload a "Used" unboxed Hutch. I told the driver we did not order that. He then stated to unload a "Used" unboxed desk. I could see cracks in the side, where it had been screwed into another piece of furniture. I told the driver that it was supposed to be New, In-the-Box furniture. He told me, they told him, to tell me it was new. I refused the delivery and called Mathis Brothers. They said that there were notes on my account to only deliver NEW, In-the-box furniture. They could not understand how used furniture was being delivered.
They now tell me that they will deliver "New" furniture, this time, and i should expect delivery by July 25th, almost 2 months after my original purchase. What do you want to bet, they deliver used, damaged furniture again, and try and pawn it off on me as "New"? Use "Extreme" Caution when dealing with this company, as they will attempt to charge you full, premium price, and deliver used, damaged, or Showroom Demo, furniture, and fraudulently pass it off as new.
Mathis Brothers responded to the BBB complaint. Below is their response:
I want to assure you that no employee is ever instructed to lie. When dealing with imported product, made in China, we are subject to availability of their containers and ship times do change without notice to us. Also, every piece of furniture that is shipped to us requires some touch up.( IS DAMAGED) It goes into trucks and on ships and comes out of the box often with minor touch up repairs required to conceal damage. We will be receiving another container in August. I checked with the manufacturer and it is pushed back to the end of August now. We can exchange it when it arrives with the customers understanding it could be 6 weeks before we have it available. Our Ontario store is also out of stock and waiting on 2 containers. With the amount of trouble the customer has experienced and at least 6 more weeks before completion, I do not want to delay the customer getting their home office settled or any more frustration. I can pick everything up at their convenience and refund their money.
Mathis Brothers has lied to me several times about dates I will be receiving a cushion. I purchased a sofa one month prior to delivery and they didn't have the cushion left in stock. They "ordered" it then and said it would be 2-4 weeks. Weeks have gone by and everytime I call customer service they give me a different answer. Not one call has ever been returned to me by a manager, and I have left over three messages. To top it off they now are saying it was never ordered in the first place and it will now be an additional 4-6 weeks. I do not recommend shopping with a company with TERRIBLE customer service! I will never purchase something from there again, they are incompetent and only care about making a dollar and not the satisfaction of the customer. They are not even willing to give us any compensation for their wrong doing.
Thanks for the input. I was about to purchase a living room, bedroom and kitchen set!
I will print this report and bring it with me to explain my reluctance to purchase with them.
Stay away from them
I just recently bought a dining set and then an office set. The salesman was incredible! He had a tape measure and helped me and my husband decide on the perfect pieces. Most importantly, he listened to our needs and was patient. We were in the store for almost 3 hours picking the perfect items. The delivery date was set for a Saturday so that we would be available.
The movers were wonderful as well. They were very careful and respectful of our house when moving the furniture around. Quickly though, we realized that the credenza was defective. One of the drawers was badly cracked, rendering it useless, and the side had a large crack.
I immediately called the store and was told that a replacement would arrive on Wednesday. I explained that I work and that no one would be at my home until after 3pm. They told me that they could not pinpoint a delivery time and that it could be any time between 10am and 5pm. I was forced to have to take a day of leave in order to wait. The movers showed up at 4pm. The new credenza was worse than the first. Me and my husband returned to Mathis Brothers to personally hand select a new credenza to be delivered. The man working the Customer Service area, Jarred Phillips, was rude and refused to look or talk to me when I was speaking. He directed all conversation at my husband. Further more he had the warehouse guys pull down the wrong credenza to be inspected. We waited in the store for almost two hours. I finally went back to tell Jarred that we were leaving and to just have a Quality Control person inspect the desk before delivery and he told me that wasn't possible. By the way, the people lined up in there with complaints was growing by the minute. There were some very unhappy people. I inquired as to a delivery time and AGAIN was told anytime between 10am and 5pm. I explained that I couldn't take another day off of work and asked if they could arrange the delivery for after 3pm. He say no and then rolled his eyes. I was furious.
Again, I took another day off of work to wait for the desk. No furniture ever arrived and no courtesy call to let me know this either. I called the Tulsa store to complain and they said that the delivery had been rescheduled for Friday and that again, I would need to wait. I then decided to contact the OKC store. I talked to Lee, a man who evidently does not know how to talk to people. He did nothing but tell me to just wait till the next day. He refused to let me talk to a supervisor.
When...if they come tomorrow they can pick up all of the furniture and refund my money. I will never step foot in Mathis Brothers again.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
We had a few small spots on the recently purchased furniture and technician came out and looked at it at it and did absolutely nothing. Never cleaned the spots said the material couldn't be cleaned and said he would contact Mathis Brother to replace the material Mathis denied the claim and have not refunded out money.

Have you received my complaint re: Aireloom mattress and sales personnel at the Indio store? Terrible customer support!
Wrote long, detailed letter.
Delivery problem. Promise to deliver 10/21/18.
broken headboard and night stand took back and bring new one on 10/23/18 but failed. I called to costumer service they said schedule on 10/30/18, I said NO, I need sooner. Then said OK on 10/25/18.
I am wondering what is going on at Mathis Brothers.
In beginning he called several time, Once I purchased the furniture and complaints about delivery he said he will find out and let me know but he never returned my call. BAD.
Did you receive my complaint? Sent today re: Indio Store.
It's stuff like this that makes me take my business elsewhere, too. If there is one thing I hate, it's a terrible business. Thanks for the review.
